Chapter 38
(Diane went with Monica to the private lab and saw everything that Robin did was perfectly legal. Diane joked 'Let the DNA tests begin!'. Diane was hoping that everything would turn out for her client)
***Two Days Later***
(Jason and Elizabeth were on pins and needles as they knew it was forty-eight hours later. It was only a matter of time before they would get the call saying all four DNA tests were in. Elizabeth worked that day. Obviously, her mind was elsewhere. Jason updated Carly and Sonny on the whole situation. Sonny couldn't believe Sam slept with Franco considering his history and that he was the father of Danny)
Jason: (shrugs) "It's Sam. What do you expect? I learned the hard way not to put anything past Sam."
(Jason shakes his head in distaste)
Jason: "To say I'm disgusted with her is an understatement. How she turned out like this, I'll never understand."
(Carly put her hands on her hips and raises her eyebrows)
Carly: "I always knew that Sam was a slut and a bitch, but she brought it to a whole new level."
Sonny: "What are your plans if the tests reveal that all three of Elizabeth's boys turn out to be yours?"
Carly: "We weren't sure if you thought that far ahead yet, considering she's still married to Franco."
Jason: (smirks) "I'm going to cement my relationship with her. I want to ask her to marry me, but I know she'll want to be officially divorced from Baldwin first before I officially ask her. I want to respect that."
(Carly embraces her best friend and sniffles, getting a bit teary-eyed)
Carly: "You and Elizabeth deserve all the happiness in the world, Jayse. I hope you get it, too."
Jason: "Thank you."
(All of a sudden, Jason's phone rings. Jason and Carly break apart so Jason can see who is calling, revealing Monica)
Jason: "Hi, mom."
Monica: "I just wanted you to know, son, that the DNA tests are in. Whenever you're ready to come over to hear the results is fine. I'll be here and so is Robin."
Jason: "Sounds good. I'll call Elizabeth as she went to work today. We'll be there soon."
Monica: "We'll finally get our answers, at long last."
Jason: "We will."
(Jason ends the call and then calls his girl)
Liz: "Hi, babe. What's up?"
Jason: "Monica called. The results are in. She wants to meet at her place."
Liz: "Okay. Sounds like a plan. My shift is almost over, so I'll be over soon."
Jason: "Okay. Love you, baby."
Liz: (chuckles) "Love you more."
(Elizabeth ends the call. She then faces Terry, who she was talking to before Jason called)
Terry: "Are you ready to hear the results?"
Liz: (sighs deeply) "I just hope they are what I think they are. Terry, I've always prayed that all three of my boys were Jason's. I believe Jake is Jason's. However, you can't always trust the lab. Especially if you have enemies here in Port Charles."
Terry: (nods) "And unfortunately, you and Jason both do."
Liz: "Sadly, yes."
Terry: "What do you want if the boys are, indeed, Jason's?"
Liz: (smiles) "I want to be divorced from Franco and be with Jason. I love Jason with all my heart."
Terry: (grins widely) "Oh, Biz, I hope all your dreams come true."
(The two best friends share a warm hug before finishing their shift. About an hour later, Elizabeth clocks out and goes to Monica's. After Monica, Elizabeth, Jason, Diane, and Robin are all in the living room, Robin asks Jason and Elizabeth if they're ready to hear the results of all the DNA tests? Jason and Elizabeth sit down on the couch and sigh deeply. They briefly look at each other before nodding)
Robin: "I want to reassure you both that I double checked the results to all the tests I ran and they came back the same."
Jason: "We all believe you, Robin."
Liz: "We know you would never lie."
Monica: "Don't worry, Robin. Whenever you're ready."
Robin: (nods) "Okay. We'll start with Danny, Jason."
(Robin opens the envelope and takes the piece of paper out)
Robin: "It is with 99.99% certainty that you, Jason Morgan, are NOT the father of Daniel Morgan."
(Jason bows his head down and briefly closes his eyes as he shakes his head. Elizabeth comforts him by placing her arm over his shoulder and massaging it)
Robin: "I'm so sorry, Jason."
Jason: (clears his throat) "At least the truth is out. The only good thing to come out of this is…I don't have anything that ties me to Sam. I have loved that boy all these years."
Liz: "Just because he's not yours biologically, doesn't mean you have to stop loving him. Jason, you can still consider him yours."
Monica: "Elizabeth is right, Jason."
Jason: (nods) "I know. I will always think of him as my own regardless of what the results say."
Liz: (angrily) "I still can't believe that Franco is the father and neither Sam nor Franco said anything."
Jason: (shakes his head) "I'll find out the truth from Sam on why she didn't say anything."
Liz: (raises her eyebrows) "If she'll tell you."
Jason: "She will." (nods) "Let's do the next DNA test."
Robin: "Are you sure you're ready, Jason? If you need more time, I don't mind."
Jason: "Go ahead, Robin. I'm good."
Robin: (nods) "Okay. According to the front of the envelope, I put Cameron Webber. Just so I remembered who I did the DNA test on."
(Robin opens up the envelope and the piece of paper)
Robin: "Okay, Elizabeth you were wondering if Jason was the father of Cameron."
(Robin reads the results)
Robin: "It is with 99.99% certainty that you, Jason Morgan, ARE Cameron Baldwin's biological father."
(Jason and Elizabeth are shocked as hell! Their eyes are widened and mouths parted and they look at each other in awe)
Liz: "D-Did she…Did Robin just say what I thought she said?"
Jason: (nods) "I think so. Robin?"
Robin: (chuckles) "I'll read them again as it sounds like you are both in shock. It is with 99.99% certainty that you, Jason Morgan, ARE the father of Cameron Baldwin."
Monica: (smiles) "I think it's safe to say we are pleasantly surprised by the results."
Jason: "I'm-I'm just amazed. It never occurred to me that I may be his father." (to Liz) "Yes, we slept together once around the time you got pregnant with Cameron."
Liz: (chuckles dryly) "But I also slept with Zander once, too. What you must be thinking of me right now."
Jason: "Hey."
(Jason takes Elizabeth's hands in his and kisses them)
Jason: "I would never think low of you, baby. I remember that night. You weren't the happiest and I had a major fight with Sam. We needed each other. Were the circumstances wrong? Maybe. But I don't regret it for one second. I always wondered if Cameron was mind. I didn't say anything because I thought I was the only one who thought of it, so I kept it to myself all these years." (smiles) "Now, we know."
Liz: (grins) "I'm just glad he's yours."
Robin: (smiles) "Are you ready for Jake's DNA test?"
Liz: (nods) "Yes, we are."
Jason: "Whenever you're ready, Robin."
(Robin opens the envelope and takes the piece of paper out and reads it)
Robin: "It is with 99.99% certainly that you, Jason Morgan, ARE the father of Jacob Martin Morgan."
Liz: (smiles & nods) "Just like we believed."
Jason: (chuckles) "And I noticed he's carrying my name."
(Elizabeth gives Jason a hug before grinning)
Liz: "As far as I knew it, you were his father. Of course, he would carry your name."
(Monica walks to where Jason is and massages his shoulder, causing him to look at her)
Monica: (beams) "One more test to go. Are you both ready?"
Liz: "We'll find out if Sam's telling the truth or if she's just lying about Aiden."
Jason: "Go ahead, Robin."
(Robin takes the final envelope out of her lab coat. It reads 'Aiden Spencer'. She opens the envelope and takes the paper out of it and reads it aloud)
Robin: "It is with 99.99% that you, Jason Morgan, ARE the father of Aiden Spencer."
(The whole room is silent as they heard the results. No one could believe it! Sam was telling the truth. They all thought it was another one of her lies. Now, it was official. Aiden was not Lucky's son. He was Jason's)
Liz: (tearfully) "I-I can't believe it. After all these years of believing Lucky was the father, it was really you?" (looking at Jason)
(Jason wiped away a few tears that managed to escape his eyes as he faced his girl)
Jason: "I can't…" (shakes his head) "I can't believe it, either. There was a DNA test done years ago on Aiden between Lucky and Nikolas." (scoffs) "Helena and Sam do like to pull stunts. This was at the top of the list. I wasn't aware that they were in cahoots together."
Liz: (shakes her head) "Me, either."
(Jason and Elizabeth shared a warm hug at the fact that, in the end, they got their wish. All three of Elizabeth's sons are Jason's biological sons. It didn't matter that Danny wasn't Jason's biologically, he considered Danny his. Jason kissed Elizabeth on the cheek and faced Robin after breaking apart. Monica couldn't help but be happy for Jason and Elizabeth that their wishes came true. She was heartbroken about Danny, though)
Jason: "Thank you for everything, Robin."
Liz: (smiles) "I can't tell you what this means to me that all three of my boys are Jason's."
Jason: "Even though Danny's not mine biologically, I still consider him mine."
Robin: (smiles) "You're welcome, Elizabeth. I'm glad I could help. I'm sorry I didn't deliver better news about Danny, Jason. You are right, though. Biology doesn't mean everything."
(Robin leaves the results to all the DNA tests with Monica before she leaves. Monica faces Jason and Elizabeth)
Monica: "How do you feel about the results?"
Jason: "We're glad we have answers."
(Elizabeth's face goes from happy to mad within seconds)
Liz: "Now I can confront Sam over her lies."
(Jason rests his hands over his girls as he speaks)
Jason: "I can go with you, if you want, for support."
Liz: (shakes her head) "No, I need to confront the bitch on my own. Thank you, though. It's time we got all our cards out on the table."
(Diane, who has been a silent watcher this whole time, speaks up)
Diane: (smiles) "Would you like to hear more good news, Elizabeth?"
Liz: (grins a bit) "Yes, I would love more good news. What'd you have in mind, Diane?"
Diane goes through her briefcase and gives Elizabeth some papers. Elizabeth looks at it and smiles)
Liz: "Diane, is this what I think it is?"
Diane: (winks) "You bet they are. They are the divorce papers for you and Franco. You can give them to Franco whenever you're ready."
(Elizabeth gets up from the couch and graciously embraces her lawyer as well as friend)
Liz: "Thank you so much, Diane. I appreciate it, more than you know."
Diane: (chuckles) "We've all had a busy day today."
Liz: (laughs) "Yep. Indeed."
(Elizabeth smiles at everyone in the room before smirking)
Liz: "All my wishes were granted. Now, I can finally get payback."
