He sat at his high-rise office, relaxing and waiting. She would show up, he knew it, and so, he smirked.

Kagome had just gotten out of the shower when her doorbell went off, and she opened it only to be greeted with flowers.

"Sigh here," The lazy teen guy said.

"Um, are you sure these are for me?"

"It has your address, are you Miko?"

Kagome narrowed her eyes and wrote down her name, and took the flowers.

Once back inside, she sat them down and pulled the card out; it read 'I win.'

"That jerk!"

She quickly dressed and looked up his name on the internet. "Of course, he is a big boss, ugh!"

She jotted the address down and grabbed the pretty yet evil flowers, and went after the dumb demon male.

The whole way there, she cursed him. "Stupid man and his stupid pride, God, I didn't miss this part of him!"

She arrived at the tall, high-rise building and looked up. "Woah!"

Kagome took a deep breath in and went in, fully determined to give him a piece of her mind!

She walked up to the sleek marble black desk that held two women. "Where is he!"

Both women looked at each other "Pardon?"

"Sesshomaru!"

"Do you have an appointment?" The fake red-head asked,

"No, but he is waiting for me." Of that, she was sure.

The girl picked up the phone and dialed to his office; she was only allowed to do this for emergencies,

He picked up,

"Forgive me, sir, but there is a, um, woman here; she seems most insistant on seeing you,"

He smirked. "Be silent for a moment," He told her, and she obeyed. The girl looked at Kagome as she held on the phone. Kagome tapped her foot for a moment, then reached for the phone. "Give me that."

It caught the girl off guard, and Kagome got the phone. "Sesshomaru, stop playing, I'm coming up!"

She heard him chuckle, and she pulled the phone away and looked at it like it was Naraku himself. She quickly gave the girl the phone back "Here, take it," She had half a mind to melt the damn thing.

"Let her up," He told the girl, and the girl waved Kagome up. Kagome huffed and went on her way, pressing the top floor button. "Who does he think he is?"

Well, she knew who he was: a stuck-up, rich, no-good demon!

She made her way off the elevator and stomped past his desk clerk, Kagome's eyes daring the poor girl to say anything. She walked right in, slammed the door with her foot, stalked up to his desk, and threw the flowers onto it.

He sat and smirked. "I was expecting you,"

"You are a JERK!"

"So you have told me many times," He stood from his chair,

"Don't send me flowers,"

"I thought females liked flowers?"

"Not this one!"

He walked around his desk to her,

"Angry with me, are we, Miko, because I, Sesshomaru, once again proved that I am right?"

"You think because you kissed me one time that you're right, I didn't fall in love with you, Sesshomaru!"

"You may not have fallen in love with me, Miko, but I bet you can't recall the feel of his now that you have a taste of mine,"

"You are so stupid!" Kagome lunged forward to hit his chest, but he caught her by the waist and pulled her in. She gave a slight struggle, but he held her firm and once again kissed her.

His mouth once again covered hers, and his mouth demanded hers to move along with him. She struggled for a moment, trying to prove that it didn't have a feeling, but soon she lost the battle and the war and was kissing him back. He was warm, powerful, demanding, and almost needing. He was tall against her, deadly, and yet he was kissing her again.

Then as she thought about it, it hit her, he was proving his point. Kagome quickly moved back and placed the back of her hand on her lips.

He looked at her strangely; he had not foreseen her move away so quickly.

"What are you doing," She asked. "Just as cruel as you ever were," This was so not like him.

"I fail to see how kissing you is cruel; last I checked, it was an action of endearment,"

"You don't adore me! you just wanna prove that you're right, well fine, you're right; you managed to erase the one good memory I ever had!"

"Tell me Miko, what was so good about it, the fact that you got to kiss him, or that fact that he had no choice, how many times did he run to that dead dirt of a girl and lay his lips on her, tell me, you kissed him once and claim it love?"

Tears formed in her eyes,

"It is as you say: you kissed him, he didn't kiss you, and if that is a happy memory for you, then accept my apologies for trying to make you forget."
