At the Squid and the Dagger
'When is she getting back in again?' Deeks asked.
'This evening.' Kensi responded.
Hetty was finally coming home after being on a secret mission for the last 3 months, and the team decided to give her a welcome home party. (well, it was Kensi and Nell's idea.).
'Think she'll like this?' Deeks asked again.
'She definitely will. Plus, this'll be our way of thanking her for buying us that house and giving you a job!'
'That too.'
The night went off without a hitch. Hetty loved the party.
'We're so glad to have you home.' Kensi said.
'And I'm glad to be home!' Hetty responded.
'Will you be coming back to work soon?' Nell asked.
'Yes. I trust you kept my office organized and tidy while I was away?'
'Yes I did.'
'Good. You didn't drink all my whiskey, right?'
'Nope! wouldn't think of it!' Nell replied.
'You're not going to tell us what you were up to, by any chance?' Deeks asked.
'Only if I feel like it.'
'Figures.'
Then Callen decided to talk to Hetty.
'She looks really happy.' Deeks said.
'Well, she's home after 3 months. And from what Nell was telling me, she didn't want to be gone in the 1st place, but she had to because of something she couldn't say.' Kensi answered.
'What do you think it is?'
'I don't know. But knowing Hetty, she took care of it.'
'How long do you think she'll stick around for this time?' Deeks asked.
'Hopefully for a long time.'.
