Ch 40 Gathering the Team
Harry continued walking through the greenery, he looked around for the remaining seven Mages Circe cursed. "Do you see any more Pigs, Fou?" He asked the Beast sitting on his shoulders.
"Fou…" Fou looks around, using his Instincts to search for any Swine in the area. The Beast shook his head, unable to help in the area.
"I see, it must be because there's a lot of Wild Life here for you." Harry ponders, looking at his Servant for assistance. "Zhou Yu, how about you? Do you sense anything nearby?" The young Heir asked his Servant.
Zhou Yu looks around the area, searching for what his master seeks. He then heard something nearby, a few squealing noises. "Master, I believe I found a few of Circe's Pigs." He points over to the Northeast section of the Amazon.
Harry turns to the direction where the Strategist is pointing to. He smiles, heading in the direction, "Let's go, Zhou Yu, Fou!" The young Boy ran over to the Northeast section, where the squealing noises increased.
Running around, at least three Pigs were running from something flying around. A cloud of black smoke came crashing down from the air, "Three Little Piggies just for me to devour before the Grail Front in two Days." Camaztoz grins, holding two Pigs in one hand and the other with his foot.
Camazotz's tongue extends, licking his lips as his throat mouth opens ready to drain the Pigs dry of blood.
The Pigs squeal in fear as the third one runs for the greenery, however, he bumps into a Peron who came from the direction he's heading. "Ah, Zhou Yu! I found one more Pig!" Camazotz turns his head, hearing a familiar voice.
The Beast watches below, hanging from the branches while holding onto the Pigs he got. "Well, well, what do we have here?" Camazotz said to himself, leaning forward to better see what was going on.
Harry picks up the Pig, struggling in his arms. "U-Uh, this Pig seems to be frightened about something." The young Wizard stated, holding the Pig carefully.
"Most likely because of being turned into Pigs." Zhou Yu commented, however, that he could see that something was off with how this Pig was reacting. "But I do see your point, master. Something else must've spooked him."
"Fou, Fou…" Fou just observes the Pig, trying to understand what would make a Cursed Pig so scared.
Out of nowhere, laughter echoes from every corner of the Forest. "What a surprise, I never expected the Little Monkey to come out here so far from his Parents." The voice spoke,
Harry heard the familiar spine-chilling voice, "Master, stay close to me." Zhou Yu stood closer to his master, also knowing who this voice belonged to.
Falling from the Trees, Camaztoz landed in front of the Servant/master pair along with his fellow Beast. "C-Camazotz…" Harry looks at the Servant that he'll be facing in a few Days.
Harry gulped, swallowing his fear, and stood before the Lostbelt Beast. "Seems like the Little Monkey found some bravery after meeting ORT," Camazotz said, looking down at the young Boy with a smile. "Now, tell me, why are you here in the middle of the Forest?"
"Fou…" Fou was on edge, ready to step in when needed to protect Harry,
Zhou Yu looks down at his master, "Master, if Camazotz does anything, I'll hold him off while-"
Harry shook his head, looking up at his Servant after seeing the Beast holding two more Pigs Circe Cursed. "No, Camazotz is holding two Pigs. I can't leave now," He said, determined to finish Circe's Quest. "We can't leave now."
The young Boy steps forward, stepping forward and facing his Second Beast of Humanity.
Camazotz smiles, finding it interesting how drastically Harry's personality changes from a timid Boy to a more confident Child. "Oh? Is there something you need, Little Monkey?" The Beast asked the young Wizard.
"C-Camazotz, we need those Pigs you got there," Harry stated, looking up at the Bat God,
"Oh? Why should Camazotz listen to you, Little Monkey?" Camazotz asked the young master, leaning closer to him. "Camazotz hasn't eaten for a while, so why should Camazotz give you my dinner?" He asked.
Harry continued to put on a brave expression, standing before the Beast who nabbed him. "Because the Pigs are Mages that Circe Cursed after eating her Food." The young Heir explains to the Lostbelt Servant.
Camaztoz lifts one of the Pigs, getting a good look at the Cursed Mages. "Oho? So you two were Cursed by that Witch?" He said to himself before gazing over to Harry. "Why should I listen to you? Camazotz still hasn't recognized you as my next master, Little Monkey. Yes, I was on the neutral side, but Camazotz has yet to see you in action."
"Even though, I still need those Pigs back," Harry stated, pushing the subject further. "If not then Daddy will be in trouble with the Mages Association."
Zhou Yu could tell that the Beast wasn't going to lend his master the Cursed Pigs. Just when he was about to intervene, he saw someone standing on the branches of a Tree.
"Pigs, Mages, it doesn't matter to Camazotz. If it harms master, then it's up to Camazotz to get rid of them." The Lostbelt Beast spoke, explaining his role in Chaldea.
This conversation wasn't leading anywhere no matter how Harry pushed it. He needed those Pigs back, not only to learn some Spells from the Great Witch Circe, but also to prevent his Father let alone Chaldea in trouble with the Clocktower.
Harry sighs, looking up at the Beast. "I will not back away until I get those Pigs back!" He said, raising his voice a bit louder. "It doesn't matter what you think; Daddy will get in trouble with the Clocktower." He stated, standing tall before him.
Camazotz grins, he opens his mouth about to keep the conversation going when something knocks him from the branches, "GAH!" He lets go of the two Pigs he was holding, being caught by the Person who knocked him down.
Zhou Yu took Harry, pulling him beside him as the Beast fell before them. "Master, are you hurt?" He asked his master.
"Y-Yeah, what about you Fou? Are you hurt?" Harry looks at the Beast on his shoulders, seeing him unscathed.
"Fou, Fou," Fou responded, answering Harry's question.
Camazotz lifted his body and gritted his teeth from being tossed down from the air. "Who dares to bring Camaztoz to the ground!?" The Lostbelt Beast demanded, looking up in the Sky.
"Hola, Camaztoz, are bullying the young master?" A cheery voice echoes in the air, causing Camaztoz to freeze. "My, that's a big no-no for me. After all," The Person fell from the sky, landing in front of Harry.
"We're his Big Sisters," Quetzalcoatl smiles, holding two Pigs in her arms.
A streak of green light also fell from the Sky, landing just next to Zhou Yu. "You Anti-Succession Servants are annoying you know!?" Kukulkan puffs her cheeks at Camazotz. "Can you at least make the young master's time in South America a bit more fun for him?" She asked.
"Kukulkan and Quetzalcoatl…" The King of the Braves frowns at the two Major Deities from the Mesoamerican Pantheon. "Camazotz knows that he's no match against the both of you together." He opens his wings, ready to depart not before looking at Harry.
"Camazotz will leave these Pigs to you, Little Monkey," Camazotz said, grinning at the young master. "Be sure to show that brave face when the time comes for the Grail Front." He took off laughing, searching for his next meal.
Harry watches as the Beast leaves for the Skies. "There he goes, I guess." He said to himself. "I was hoping that I could at least befriend him even though he's leading me on."
Quetzalcoatl shook her head, turning around to her master's Son. "That is quite impossible, Little master." The Rider said to Harry, explaining why he can't reason with the Beast. "Camazotz can be unpredictable; one moment he's your amigo and then next is your Enemy." She explains, "Even his Proper Human History Counterpart is the same as the Lostbelt version of him."
"I see…" Harry said, understanding what the Goddess of the Sun meant before being abruptly picked up from the ground.
"Anyways, enough with this Succession stuff! Little master, why are you walking around in the middle of the Rainforest?" Kukulkan asked the young master. "You were doing this before ORT's little awakening." The Archetype said, curious about what he was doing.
The blonde-Goddess nodded, also wondering why he was going off into the Rainforest on his own technically. "Si, this deep in the Amazon is filled with many Demonic Beast and many dangerous Animals." Quetzalcoatl commented.
"I-I know, that's why I ask Archer to come with me." Harry turns to Zhou Yu, nodding to what he said.
"Of course, as his Servant, it's my duty to protect him in a dangerous place such as South America's Crystal Valley." Zhou Yu said before eyeing his master, "Also, I do believe master has something to ask you two."
Harry flinched, turning his head to the grey-haired Archer with wide eyes. "Z-Zhou Yu!"
Quetzalcoatl and Kukulkan looked at each other before looking back at the Young master. "Oh?" The Rider smiles, kneeling to Harry's level. "What is it you want to ask us, Little master?" The Goddess of the Sun asked.
The Wizard took a deep breath before asking the two Goddesses before him his question. "Um, you two know about the Grail Front against Tezcatlipoca, right?" Harry asked the two,
The light green-haired Goddess caught on to what Harry was going to ask. "You want either one of us to join your side against Tez, right?" Kukulkan asked the young master,
"Uh…yes, that's right. Can you two help me win against Tezcatlipoca?" Harry asked, hoping they would help.
Kukulkan crossed her arms, looking a bit disappointed. "I would, but I don't think you can handle my Magical Energy, Little master." The Lostbelt Goddess stated, feeling a bit bad for not assisting him against a powerful Opponent such as Tezcatlipoca. "I'm a bit different than your Proper Human History Divine Spirit. Only master has the experience on handling such power of Lostbelt Gods and Goddesses." She further explains to him.
Harry understood what Kukulkan meant, and by what information his Mother told him it was understandable. "But…" Kukulkan sang, eyeing a certain fellow Goddess of the Sun. "I don't think another Sun Goddess would mind joining you."
"Huh? Oh then-" Harry was immediately grabbed into a hug by none other than Quetzalcoatl,
"Ah, si! Yes, I will join you against Hermano!" The Rider embraced the young master tightly, accepting the idea.
Quetzalcoatl held Harry out with a big grin, "Little master, know that your Big Sis Quetz will see to it that Tezcatlipoca will be severely punished for what he did to you, yes!" The Rider smiles with joy. "In fact, leave Hermano to me! I know every trick he's going to pull out!"
Harry smiles, happy to have someone who can rival the Grand Servant on his side. "Thank you, Big Sis!" He said ecstatically,
After putting Harry down, Quetzalcoatl took the Pig that Zhou Yu was holding with Kukulkan holding two. "You're still looking for Servants to join you, yes? Then we'll take these Piggies back to the Camp while you do that." The Rider said.
"You two know about the Circe situation already?" Harry asked the two Goddess,
"We've been listening to the conversation with Camazotz from the beginning," Kukulkan explains, knowing the situation. "Like what Quetzalcoatl said, Camazotz is unpredictable."
Harry nodded, understanding what the two said. "Oh, okay then."
Both Sun Goddesses turn to the direction of the Camp, not before wishing Harry luck. "Good luck, Little master. We'll see you back at Chaldea Camp." Kukulkan said, taking off in the Sky.
"Yes, Adios!" Quetzalcoatl said, leaping into the greenery back to the Camp.
Harry smiles before turning to Zhou Yu. "That's I think six Pigs so far, we got four more to go." The black-haired Boy stated, counting the Cursed Pigs so far.
"Fou, Fou," Fou commented, congratulating Harry for another good job,
"Yes, and we got another Servant that'll be joining us for the Grail Front." Zhou Yu stated, counting how many Servants were left on Tezcatlipoca's side. "Since Quetzalcoatl is going to face Tezcatlipoca, I can handle Izcalli, and most likely Beni-Enma will face either Camazotz or Tlaloc."
"But Camazotz is a Beast Servant…they're a bit stronger than regular Servants, right?" Harry asked his Servant, even though he didn't know what a Beast was it sounded menacing to him.
Zhou Yu nodded, hearing his master out. "I don't think having one more Servant on your side won't violate the rules…did Tezcatlipoca explain the rules of how many Servants we can bring?" He asked himself,
Harry shrugs, not remembering that part. "Not sure, but I guess it won't hurt to have some sideline Servants to help." He said before continuing their way. "Let's focus on looking for the remainder of the six Pigs, Archer."
"Of course, master." Zhou Yu said, following him into the Forest.
Walking through the greenery, Nitocris and Billy were making their way through the Rainforest on their Patrol. "Seems like there's no Intruders nor Wizards in these parts of the Amazon," Billy said to his Partner.
"Regardless, we can't let our guard down," Nitocris said, remembering the events at the Crystal Valley. "I don't want a repeat of the events a few Days ago." The Caster stated which the Outlaw understands completely.
"That I wholeheartedly agree, Nitocris." Billy the Kid stated before seeing a few rustling before them. "Hold your Horses, Nitocris. There's some rustling over yonder," The Archer pointed to where the rustling coming from.
Both Servants looked up, preparing for a Demonic Beast to appear however they were met by someone different. "Hmm? Oh, there you guys are!" A blonde Woman wearing a red bra, tie-dyed short jeans, brown boots, and white high socks appeared through the bushes. "I was beginning to think I might've lost you two in the Rainforest." Calamity Jane said, holding something in her arms.
"Jane, you really should learn not to run off from the group. Even if it's just scouting." Nitocris stated, relieved that she was able to find them.
Calamity Jane smiles, chuckling at the Caster's comment. "Sorry, sorry, but when you get a job from master, you do your best to complete it." The Archer stated,
Billy didn't disagree with his fellow American Servant. "That we can agree, Jane." He said before addressing the Elephant in the room. "So, can we address why you have a Pig in your arms?"
Jane looks down at the Pig in her arms, trying to get free. "Oh, Sir Oinksalot? I found him wandering around the Forest." The Archer from the Servantverse said, showing the Pig to her fellow Chaldeans.
"Ain't that nice, you got yourself a Pet, Jane," Billy said, looking at the Pig who was panicking in the Archer's arms. "I don't think he likes that name, if Lancelot was here, he wouldn't like that one bit."
"Hmm…maybe something less unique then…." Calamity Jane commented, looking at the Pig in her arms.
Nitocris tilts her head, taking a look at the Pig. "This Pig, it's a Magus," The Pharaoh stated, informing the two Archers on who was with her.
"A Magus? Do you mean to say Sir Oniksalot is actually a Magus from the Clocktower?" Jane asked, looking down at the Swine with disgust. "To think I would bring you back to Chaldea and care for you like a pet!" The Archer stated,
Billy looks at the Caster, curious how a Magus was turned into a Pig. "How in the Wild West did a Magus from the Clocktower turn into a- scratch that. I think I know who's responsible." The Outlaw said, having an inkling feeling who might've Cursed the Mage.
"Circe?" Jane answers, sharing the same answer as Billy.
"Circe," Nitocris confirms what the two said, looking at the Pig closely. "Circe must've been really angry with this Mage to even Curse him." The Caster stated,
Jane looks at the purple-haired Servant, wondering one thing. "Can you lift the Curse from him, Nitocris?" The blonde Servant asked,
"It's not in my realm of Magecraft, if I try to lift the Curse then he'll be stuck like this." Nitocris explains to the Human Servants, "It's best for Circe to lift the Curse from him-"
"Oh! They found one!" Everyone turned their heads to the side; they saw Harry coming out of a bush with Fou on his shoulders.
"Well, well, look what the Cat brought in," Billy smirks at their unexpected visitor. "Howdy Bud, what brings you to this part of the Rainforest?" The Outlaw greeted the young master.
Nitocris frowns, seeing Harry alone walking through the Amazon. "Why aren't you with someone, Young master? It's very dangerous here!" The Caster said, a bit peeved that he was alone.
Harry looks at Nitocris innocently, correcting the Caster's assumption. "But I'm not alone, Nitocris." He turns around where Zhou Yu exited the brush where he just came out from.
"There you are master; I was worried that I might've lost you." Zhou Yu said, joining up with his master and the others.
Nitocris sighed with relief that his Servant was with Harry. She cleared her throat before speaking. "Young master, were you looking for this Pig?" The Caster asked the black-haired Boy.
"That's right," Harry answered the question, explaining the situation to the Servants.
Calamity Jane nodded, understanding the situation now. "Ah, so we were right; it was Circe's doing that Cursed this Pig." The Archer stated before introducing herself to Harry. "Sorry, I guess I should introduce myself, the name's Martha Jane Canary. I'm a unique kind of Servant revolving another Universe, but that's not important."
"Nice to meet ya, Kiddo!" Calamity Jane said, greeting the young master.
"You're Calamity Jane, a famous Western Gunman and Scout in the American West Pioneering Era," Harry said, coming across her Name when studying the Americas back on the Shadow Border. "You were alive when Billy was still alive." He added,
Jane blushed, giving a warm smile at Harry. "Awe shucks, I didn't know that you knew my History. It makes me real happy to know my Legend wasn't obscured in History." The Archer commented before the Pig in her hands started to squeal. "W-Woah there Piggy, there's no need to get all frisky!" She said, almost dropping him.
"We better get this Pig back to the Camp before master gets in trouble," Billy stated before turning to Harry. "Hey, young master, didn't you say ten Pigs were running around here?" The Archer asked, wanting to make sure he heard him correctly.
The young Heir nodded, "We got a few Pigs on their way to the Camp, only three more to go." Harry smiled,
"Fou, Fou," Fou commented with a smile.
"Wow, ain't you a natural Pig Wrangler. With your skills, Bud you could run all other Pig Wranglers out of business." Billy the Kid laughs, impressed by Harry's determination.
Harry giggles before feeling Zhou Yu nudge him a bit. "Ah, right. Um…" He looks at the three Servants, asking them the same question as the other two Servants. "Can I ask you three something?" He asked,
"Of course, Kiddo. Ask us anything," Calamity Jane said, not minding the young master asking questions.
The black-haired Boy smiles, proceeding with his question. "Is it possible that you can help me during the Grail Front?" Harry asked the Servants before him,
The Servants looked at each other before answering Harry's question. "Tezcatlipoca's Team consists of Tlaloc, Izcalli, Camazotz, and Tez himself, right?" Billy asked, receiving a nod from Harry. "Then there's only one of us who had much experience dealing with all four of those Servants." The Archer smiles, turning to Nitocris.
Nitocris smiles softly at Harry, "Since you're facing powerful Servants, it's only right that I would join you, young master." The Caster said, offering her service to Harry. "Believe it or not, I know a thing or two about your Opponents."
"Thank you, Nitocris!" Harry said, appreciating her help for the Grail Front.
"My pleasure, young master." The Pharaoh said, happy to be of assistance as both Billy and Jane advised Harry what to do on the Grail Front.
In another area of the Rainforest, just near the area where Harry and the Servants are. Three Pigs were running away from something that spooked them.
Coming out from the greenery Chains flew out of the shadows, capturing them in the air. The Pigs squealed in fear, trying to get free from the Chains, but it was futile. "I swear, you Mages are troublesome even when you were turned to Swine." Kingu approaches the three remaining Pigs his Nephew needs to find. "As much I want to keep watching you three run around, my Nephew needs those Spells from that Witch against that God."
Kingu smirks, leaning over to one Pig. "So do me a favor and wait here like the Pigs you are."
