CH 16
"Jack" he turn to Hammond
"I'll try to keep the senator out of your guy way for four hours while you find some one to drive you in to town" he said with a small smile
"Thanks sir, any problem just ask the personal for help" he said smiling
"I know they will help protect you and your family, good luck"
"Thanks sir" then he walk out to find Sam while Hammond went to deal with Kinsey when Jack walked out of the briefing room Walter was waiting for him
"Sir"
"Yes Sargent"
"You will be needing these sir and SG3 is waiting topside for Dr Jackson, Dr Fraser, Major Carter and you sir to take you all into town to do your shopping. Check your homes and also get new air force and drivers licence photos done the hair dressers already been book you all got appointment in one hour at the 'Mateos salon and day spa' and any thing else. Every one else will keep the senator busy till you all return and don't sign out or in, the cameras will be also taken care off" he past Jack four envelopes
"Thanks, any thing else?"
"Yes sir, take your dress blues with you when you have your air force ID taken Dr Fraser and major Carter uniforms have already been taken care of, two if the SG3 for them with them top side. I'll call you if there is any thing else sir"
"Good, I better go and find Sam and the others" then he walk down the corridor to the elevator and five levels up to where they well all be with the kids. When he reaches their room SG2 just arrived
"Sir, we know what going on"
"Good" he opened the door and stuck his head in and smile
"Hey" he walk in
"Hey, is every thing alright Jack?" Sam asked standing up
"Yeah, Janet, Daniel come with me, SG2 looking after the kids for us"
"Jack what going on?" Daniel asked they all walk out of the room just as SG2 sat down at one of the tables and started playing cards while the kids were sleeping.
"Come on we haven't got much time" they headed to their locker rooms
"Get change and meet at the elevators in ten minutes"
Then Daniel and Jack went into the men's locker room while Janet and Sam walk into the women locker room. When Janet and Sam walk in they both stops
"We haven't got any thing to wear" Janet said
"I know, I just relies that my self" then door open and Captain walk in
"Dr Fraser, Major Carter you will be needing these" she open her own locker and pulled out a bag and unzip it and open it up then pass them top and romper overalls to them
"They belong to my sister in law, she just gave birth last week, and when General Hammond ask if any one knows some on who is pregnant who is willing to lent some maturity clothes for the day. I step ford and I called her and here you go, it better than the overalls you two are wearing"
"Thanks captain"
"No worries we all heard about what happen on the planet, I'm please you both have found happiness"
"Thanks" they both got changes while the captain left them to it. Once done they grab what they needed and walk out and headed to the elevators where Jack and Daniel were waiting for them
"Where did you get them from?" jack asked
"They are borrowed clothes till we can buy our own"
"Ok, shell we" they all got in and headed to the surface along the way they stop at the first check point, the SF gave them a nod and they walk pass
"Jack we have to sign out" sam said
"Nope, come on I'll explain" they got into the next elevator and headed to the surface On the way to the surface Jack told them what Hammond told him and then pass envelopes to each of them. They open them up and read what was said, they all smile and then close them again. The letter told them that they have got four hours to get much done as possible and wish them the best of luck.
"Ok where to first?"
"Baby R us" Janet said
"Ok just remember we getting out hair done in forty minutes"
"We know Jack Baby R us is two streets down"
"Oh, ok" when they reach the car park they all got into each car, Jack told them where too first. So they all left together and headed into town, Ten minutes later they all pulled up and got out and all went in together.
They grab a trolley each and started moving around getting every thing that they think that they would need. Clothes diapers, portable cot, high chairs, strollers, every thing, then they all headed to the counters to pay for them all, once all paid for they headed out to the cars. And put every thing in them, they put all the clothes and diapers into one of the cars and every thing else into other cars, then they headed to the Solon where they were getting their hair done. While in there SG13 was waiting for them out side?
"We taking over while SG 3 taking care of these thing sir"
"Good idea"
"But the clothes will have to be wash before our kids could wear them"
"Already taken care on Major Johnson is going to the landry mat not far form here, he taken care of the clothes and diapers for you before retuning back to base"
"Thanks" they walk in and over to the desk
"Hello can I help you?"
"Yes, I'm Samantha Carter there is appointment booking for me"
"Ah yes, for Jack, O'Neill, Daniel Jackson, Janet Fraser and Samantha Carter, please come this way" they follow her to where women here having their faecal done
"Please sit one of the staff will be with you in a minute"
"We only here to have a hair cut" jack said
"Yes and facial done, it was already been paid for"
"What for both?"
"Yes sir" then she walk back to the counter
"I wounder who paying for this?" Janet asked as they all sat down
"I'll have to ask Hammond when we return"
Then four women showed up and started giving them their facials while talking to them. Once they all had their facials done Janet and Sam had there eye brows and make up done while jack and Daniel were getting their hair cut done when they were finish, two members of SG13 was waiting for them
"Sir when you are ready we will head to your homes for your dress blues"
"What about Sam and Janet?" Daniel asked
"When they are finish they would be heading to the photographer to have their photos taken"
"Ok, lets go" they left while Janet and Sam was getting their hair wash and cut since it was way past their back side, they both agree on having it just pass their shoulder blades. Once finish they both had it up cause of the photos. When done they walk over to where the other two members of SG13 is
"Where Jack and Daniel?"
"They gone home to get there suit and dress blues"
"Ok so let's go then" they walk out side and got in to the two cars and headed to the photographer shop.
When they arrived five minutes later, they both got out and pick up their dress blues and walked in side. The gentleman there knew that they were showing up, so he showed both Janet and Sam where they could get change. While they were getting change Daniel and Jack walk in, so the guy there took their first photo for their drivers licence. When he was finish, Janet and Sam walk out of the room next door in their dress blues
"Wow Sam you look great"
"Thanks" Then jack and Daniel walk into the room to get change while Janet and sam got their photos taken. By the time that was done, Jack and Daniel walk out to have their second photos taken. While that was happening Sam and Janet went and got change again.
Few minutes later they walk out with their hair down and there dress blues and hang them up while the guys went and got change. Once the second photos were taken, they thank the guy and left. They went to buy more baby clothes and maturity clothes they all knew that they only got ten minutes before they had to head back to the mountain when Jack phone rings
"O'Neill"
"Sir it Sargent Davis here"
"What is it, is there some thing wrong?"
"No sir, General Hammond ask me to call you to let you know that you got an extra two hours"
"Why what happen"
"Well Senator Kinsey had a accident, he walk around a corner where SG22 just return from off world and he bump into Major Clarke and the major accidentally drop the tranquilliser gun and it went off, senator Kinsey was hit in the arm" Jack laugh
"When did this happen?"
"Ten minutes ago sir"
"Thanks for letting me know, how the major?"
"Worried that he was going to be court marshalled"
"And Hammond?"
"He got a big grin on his face sir"
"I bet, thanks for letting us know, how the kids?"
"Good sir"
"Ok see you in two hours" then he hung up
"Jack what so funny?" sam asked
"Well we got another two hours, Kinsey got him self shot"
"What and that is funny," Janet said
"Oh yeah especially by tranquiller dart"
"What happen" Daniel asked jack told them what Walter told Jack. They all laugh
"So shell we carry on shopping"
They shop for the next hour before going to a laundry mat so they could wash all their and kids clothes while Janet and Sam stayed till the washing was done, Jack and Daniel took there suits home and got Janet and Sam a snack. When they return they pass them waffle cone ice cream. They eyes lit up and when they took first bit they both close there eyes and let out a moan.
"Yep they are happy," jack said smiling
"Jack you can take care of the washing, they are in the first eight washing machines" Sam as before taking another bit of her cone
"Daniel can you do the same please, they the next eight"
"Sure we will let you two enjoy your cones"
Sam and Janet watches them take the wet washing out and put them in to the drier then go back for the second load. By the time they were finish and sat down Sam and Janet finish their cones.
"How's you home jack?"
"Clean Hammond made sure all of our homes were clean, lawn mowed and gardens weeded while we were away"
"That was good of him"
"Yeah it is alright, so how are you feeling"
"Hungry"
"Ok what would you like?"
"Chinese"
"Ok Chinese you want then you shell have, what do you want?" he stood up with a smile
"Noddles, fried rice, egg-fu-Yong, stir fired vegetables, sweet and sour, pork, chicken and fish"
"All three in the sauce?"
"Yep, egg roll and wedges please"
"Mmm that sound great, I'll have the same" Janet said
"Shell we Daniel" they all kiss before walking out side
"And chocolate milk" Sam called out
"Ok" he said back
"So Janet what are you and Daniel going to do now we are all back?"
"Well I don't know it up to him"
"Janet it up to you both"
"I know" then one of the men came walking in
"Major Carter, Dr Fraser, you two better hide behind the machine Kinsey goon's are heading this way on foot"
"What about jack and Daniel?"
"Already taken care of and back up on it way"
"Kinsey must be awake or we been followed"
Sam and Janet got up and they both crouch behind the washing machines while the guy went to check on the washing when two guys walk in to the room with the second SG member behind them.
"Is there some thing wrong?"
"What are you doing here?"
"My washing and who are you?"
"We work for Senator Kinsey, you work with the SGC you SG13"
"So what"
"Why are you here?" the other one asked
"My washing and SG13 got three days off if you don't believe me Call Hammond he can tell you which teams have got the day off"
The guy got his phone and called some one they talk for two minutes then he close the phone, then nodded to his partner and they turn around and left
"I wounder what got up Kinsey nose"
"Who know" the one who came in last walk out to see the guys get into their SUV and drive away. He turn around
"All clear" the captain walk over to where Janet and Sam is and help them up to their feet
"Thanks guys"
"No problems"
"We will be right back" they went to use the women toilets there, when they return they both sat down when they notice the captain was on the phone, when he close it
"SG22 is coming to take over, they well be here in five minutes"
"Ok thanks"
"Well we always have a back up plan just in case some thing like this happens"
"Good" they talk till SG22 arrived then the two SG13 men left. When the team saw them for the first time in almost a month they were all shock
"Wow when we heard they you guys return and what happen to you and now seeing like this, wow you two look great for your age"
"Why thank you colonel, you think we look great wait till you see Jack and Daniel, then you will feel jealous?" Sam said smiling
"We head how much younger they both look"
"Have you seen program called MacGyver from the 80's?"
"Yes, why?"
"Well Jack looks like the actor in the program, you could say his twin"
"No way" Both Sam and Janet nodded they talk for ten minutes when Jack and Daniel showed up
"Hi guys"
"Sir, Daniel, you look younger"
"Thanks sam are you ok?"
"Yes, thanks" he pass her bottle of chocolate milk and bag.
They were sitting at the table. Janet and Sam enjoy their snack while Jack and Daniel spoke to the guys from SG22 Twenty minutes later they rubbish was taken care of and the clothes were dry. Once all folded up and put back into bags, they all left and headed back to the SGC
When they arrived there fifteen minutes later they all went into the VIP quarters where their kids are. Their kids great them. They could see the new cloths on them and portable cots set up for them also. Even if they are in Jack and Sam room. Janet and Daniel took care of their bags of clothing and stuff before returning back to Jack and Sam room. Fifteen minutes later they all went to get some dinner and then they gave kids a shower and into their night wear before they put them to bed for the night. Since it was a long day for them all, they also decided to turn in early. The next mornings after breakfast, Jack and Sam was page to the briefing room where Hammond and grumpy Kinsey is waiting for them.
"Morning sir"
"Colonel Major, please take a seat" after they both sat down.
"Your court marshal well start tomorrow morning, your lawyers well be here with in the hour to talk to you both"
"Yes sir"
"Is there any thing else we need to know sir?"
"Your kids will be taken in to custody," Kinsey said
"What" Sam said in shock?
"No" Jack said
"I'm sorry colonel, major"
"Who looking after them?"
"I am" Kinsey said
"No way, you are not going to lay one hand on our kids" Jack said yelling then he got up and ran out of the room.
"Have them ready with in the hour Major" then he got up and walked out leaving Hammond and sam alone
"Sir we know what he will do with the kids"
"I know, there is nothing I can do sorry"
"I know" then Sam stood up the best she could and walk out the door and went and find Jack when she bump into Teal'c
"Hi Teal'c"
"Major Carter, is there some thing I can help you with?" Sam looked up at him and smile
"Teal'c yes you can, come with me, timing is important" they headed to VIP quarters When they got there Jack was there with the kids. He saw her packing up all the kids' clothes
"Sam what are you doing?"
"Jack help me pack the kids things up"
"Why? He not getting them"
"No but dad is" she said smiling
"Sam" she stops and looked at jack
"We can get Teal'c to take them to the tok'ra, they know the tok'ra and dad and they can't court marshal Teal'c when he not from earth"
"But he will need help with the kids here" sam walk over to the phone and pick it up and push two numbers
"Sargent, this is major Carter, can you send a message to the tok'ra asking for my father… just one word, Kinsey… yes he knows what it mean… thanks" then she hung up
