Present Day (3 Months After the Missing Holocron)

Location: Ord Montrell

Aurora's Age: 20 Years Old

Aurora's POV

"When did you get a new suit?" Cid asked as she glanced at my attire.

My mother was gone for about two weeks, so I decided to spend most of my time at Cid's, and speaking of my outfit, since my helmet got destroyed during the holocron issue, I had on a beskar woven black suit, that was more fitted and not bulky like the other Death Watch suits. It was sleeveless, which allowed me to possibly get shot more, but I didn't care. This was the suit I almost got killed in when I went up against Cad Bane, but since going up against Bane again, I felt more confident wearing this. The only thing that I kept from my old suit, were my gauntlets that had most of my weapons. I also had my blasters, attached to a black holster that was around my waist, but that was also used when I wore my beskar armor.

"You know I've had this for a while…I just never wore it." I explained.

"Uh huh." She said with an eyeroll. "What would your mother say if she saw you in that?"

I rolled my eyes. "She'd probably say I was promiscuous and to change my clothes."

Cid was about to give me one of her classic snarky comments before she noticed that Geenine was by my side.

"What did I tell you about droids in my bar?" Cid said in annoyance.

I smirked and leaned back against the bar countertop. "You're just jealous that Geenine isn't yours."

She rolled her eyes. "Please, there are plenty of droids better than Shiny."

Geenine then started to beep furiously at Cid and was about to charge at her, with her weapons ready and electrified.

I stood in between the two of them. "What did I tell you about attacking Cid?"

Geenine let out a low moan before putting her weapons away.

"Where did you get this droid again?" Cid questioned before she walked behind the bar.

"She came with the starfighter…thankfully she had her memory wiped, so she has no recollection of working with the Jedi…or the Republic of that matter." I explained before placing my right hand on her bronze dome.

"Speaking of morons with glow-sticks, how'd it go with the Jedi?" She asked as she began to wipe down the countertop.

I crossed my arms as I took a seat at one of the stools. "Not bad, not terrible…I let the Jedi keep the holocron."

Cid looked up. "Does Dooku know?"

I shook my head. "No, and he never will. I told him and Ventress that Cad Bane destroyed the holocron before the Jedi or I could get to it, I still don't know why he and his so called 'Master' were both trying to go after it?"

Cid rolled her eyes and continued to wipe down the bar. "Probably to get a one-up on the Jedi. Who the hell knows."

I nodded. "Exactly…they're not bad people though…at least the ones I met."

"Don't tell your mother…Mandalorians and Jedi have never been ones to get along." Cid explained. "I mean look at your planet."

"Part of it was Mandalorians…always with the need to conquer…and the one time they tried to make us the conquered…we destroyed our home world." I said with slight sorrow.

"Think of it this way." She began. "Your still alive, and you've got a pretty damn good life if I do say so myself…you never had to work, clean, take care of anything…you've got everything you want Kid."

I nodded in agreement. "You're right."

She rolled her eyes. "I'm always right."

My coms system on my wrist started to beep rapidly. I quickly looked down at my wrist then glanced to Geenine. There were only a few people who had access to my coms, Death Watch, Dooku, Cid (though she never called me), and most recently the Jedi. I looked at Cid and she nodded towards her office.

I quickly walked back into her office with Geenine quickly following behind me. As soon as both of us were in her office and the doors were shut, I activated the button that allowed for the hologram of the person calling me to become a visual. Surprisingly it wasn't Death Watch or Dooku…it was Ahsoka.

"Good." She said with a smile. "You answered."

"You really think I wouldn't?" I questioned.

She crossed her arms before changing the subject. "The Jedi Council is requesting you help us on an assignment."

"Why?" I asked in confusion.

She sighed. "They think you'd be a great asset in helping the Republic take back Geonosis, as you helped us quite a bit with returning the holocron and rescuing those children."

"I don't know." I sighed. "I'm not one for rescuing people."

"This isn't a rescue mission." She explained. "It's an assault."

My head snapped up immediately. An assault on a planet was one of the most exciting things to witness…truly any warrior would jump at the chance.

I smiled. "When do we leave?"

She smiled back. "I'll send you the coordinates over the coms…thank you."

I nodded. "Anytime."

Sure, enough within the next hour or so, I was piloting my starfighter to the coordinates Ahsoka gave me, which were surprisingly within the outer atmosphere of Geonosis. Upon coming out of hyperspace, I was met with a numerous number of Republic Star Destroyers, meaning that there were multiple fleets here for this result. I sent my clearance codes over to the Resolute, which gave me clearance to land in the hangar. Once in the hanger I was met by a clone trooper.

"Your Royal Highness," The Trooper began with a slight bow which made my right eye twitch. "Welcome aboard the Resolute, General's Skywalker and Kenobi are awaiting your arrival on the bridge."

I nodded. "Thank you. Please ensure my Astromech droid is taken out of the droid port…she comes with me wherever I go."

The trooper nodded. "Of course."

Geenine let out an aggravated moan.

I smirked and turned back towards her as I walked away. "I'll be on the bridge, come get me when you're out."

Geenine let out another moan as I continued to walk away from her. As I continued to walk to the bridge, many officials and troopers noticed me and as I walked past, I was met with bows or them addressing me 'Your Royal Highness'…everyone here was so uptight with titles…I hated it.

As I walked onto the bridge, I noticed that all four Jedi…one of which I had never met before had their backs turn towards me.

I cleared my throat. "What is it with people saying your highness…did you not tell them I'm coming?"

Ahsoka turned around and smiled greatly and practically ran towards me.

"Ro!" She said with joy before she engulfed me into a hug that I was not prepared for. "You're here!"

"Yes." I said breathlessly. "I'm here…soka…I…an't…breathe!"

She gasped before releasing me to allow me to catch my breath.

"I'm so sorry!" She said concern dripping in her voice. "Are you alright."

"Nothing as bad as I've had before." I said with a small smile before turning to Anakin.

"I leave for five minutes, and everything goes to shit." I said with a smirk, and he gave me a light shove in response.

"Not true." He replied. "We have everything under control."

"Is that why the Jedi Council asked for me to come and help?" I asked in amusement.

Anakin frowned. "You have a point."

My expression then turned serious. "Reunions aside, how bad is it?"

In response to my question, and after I got introduced to the other commanding members of this assault team, we were whisked away to a briefing.

"General Skywalker, the Council and Chancellor are awaiting your call." Yularen explained before turning to me. "Now might be a good time to put your helmet on."

I sighed as I put my helmet on. "This is stupid."

"When did you get another helmet?" Ahsoka asked in confusion.

"I've always had a backup." I explained. "But I don't plan on helping you take back the planet with it on. You've all seen me without it at this point."

Anakin hit the call button, and holograms of Windu, Palpatine, and two other Jedi, Yoda, and Luminara, their names were, all popped up around the holotable.

"Hello everyone." Anakin greeted.

"Ah, General Skywalker, so good to see you again." The Chancellor began before he turned towards me. "And who might you be?"

Everyone in the briefing, including the holographic image of the three Jedi masters froze. They all knew my identity, but the Chancellor did not.

"I'm Torch." I explained and got odd looks from Anakin and Ahsoka.

Torch had some meaning to it…at least to me. Whenever I was sent on missions by Pre or by Dooku, that was my name, I didn't go under Aurora, I went under Torch. Just Torch.

The Chancellor smiled. "Welcome Torch, it is a pleasure to have you."

I nodded in respect. "Thank you, your excellency. But the honor is all mine."

I turned to Obi-Wan. "Shall we begin?"

He nodded in agreement before he started:

"Our ships are in position, and we are ready to begin our attacks against the Geonosians." He began.

"What about Poggle?" Windu asked. "Any report on his location?"

"We believe he's holed up in the primary droid foundry, here," Obi-Wan explained pointing at the map that was projected on the holotable. "The factory is being protected by a shield generator. Anakin, Ki-Adi, Torch, and I will attempt a four-pronged attack through their lines to a staging point just short of the shield. Once we have landed, we shall knock out the shield generator. That is our primary target."

I looked over to Anakin who simply gave me a nod. I had no idea that I was going to be leading an assault team…I just thought they wanted me for my sarcastic comments and flamethrower gauntlets to annoy Anakin to death…which I still plan on doing.

"Isn't it risky committing three generals and one Mandalorian Bounty Hunter to a single area of the attack?" Palpatine asked in concern. "If something went wrong, we could be dealt with a serious blow."

"With all due respect Chancellor," I began. "The amount of fire power that the four of us have, along with our leadership skills combined, this would most definitely work, no matter how risky it is."

"Agree with the Mandalorian, I do." Yoda nodded in agreement. "This risk, worth it, it is. "To ensure, that rise again, Geonosis does not, capture Poggle we must."

"Of course." Palpatine nodded. "As always, I will leave the strategy to you, Master Jedi."

"Thank you, Chancellor." Obi-Wan responded with a slight nod.

"May the force be with us all." Windu said before the hologram of Yoda, Windu, and the Chancellor was cut off only leaving Ki-Adi and Luminara, the later in holographic form.

I took my helmet off. "Sometimes I'm tempted to leave it off all the time."

"You must be Aurora." Luminara said with a slight bow. "It is a pleasure to meet you your highness."

"Who's going to tell her?" Ahsoka whispered and I elbowed her in the side before nodding my head in respect.

"When were you going to tell me that I was going to be leading a squadron?" I asked Anakin in slight annoyance.

"Just now." He said with a smirk, and I rolled my eyes.

Just then, Rex, Cody, who was Obi-Wan's second in command, and another Clone trooper walked onto the bridge.

"Now I know you know Cody and Rex," Anakin began. "But this is Commander Fox, we brought him in to assist you and be your second in command. We created a new squadron for you to command, the 252nd Attack Battalion."

Fox nodded. "It's an honor to serve with you, Your Highness."

I smiled and nodded back. "The honor is all mine."

"Cody," Obi-Wan began interrupting our small conversation, before zooming in to show the spot he was speaking about. "These are the coordinates for the rendezvous."

Cody nodded. "Yes, sir. When we hit the ground, we'll create a perimeter there. Getting past their defenses here will be the trick. General Mundi will come across the defense lines from the north. We'll make our attack on the defensive lines from the northeast. General Skywalker will make his attack on the defensive lines from the southeast. And Her Royal Highness and her men will attack from the south, and we will meet at the rendezvous at 0700 exactly."

"If we meet with stiff resistance and are forced down away from the landing zone, hold out until we join our forces before attacking the shield generator." Mundi explained.

Ahsoka sighed. "The front lines are heavily fortified. Look at that giant wall with gun emplacements."

I shook my head and crossed my arms. "That won't be easy to get past."

"Don't worry, we're not going anywhere near that." Anakin confidently replied.

"Come now. What happened to all the enthusiasm I saw earlier?" Obi-Wan asked.

"Don't worry about us. You just make sure you get yourself to that landing zone in one piece." Anakin replied.

Obi-Wan rolled his eyes. "Yes, I shall be waiting for you when you finally arrive."

"Gentlemen, if you're quite finished, we have a battle to begin here." Luminara cut in.

"Quite right." Obi-Wan agreed with a nod. "Cody, prep the gunships. I'll meet you in the hangar."

"Yes, sir!" Cody said with a small salute as he followed Obi-Wan off the bridge.

When the doors opened, Geenine came rolling in.

"You brought the droid?" Rex asked in slight annoyance.

I smirked. "I told you she follows me everywhere."

Geenine moaned and I smiled again.

"You are staying with Yularen." I instructed.

"Wait, what?" Yularen asked in confusion. "Your Highness, I am not a droid babysitter."

I smirked as I began to walk off the bridge. "Don't worry Admiral, she was actually thrilled to stay with you."

I stopped and turned towards Fox. "Fox, prepare your squadron and gunships, I will be in the hangar shortly."

Fox gave me a small solute. "Sir yes sir."

Eventually, Obi-Wan, Cody, and I were in the hangar walking towards two LAAT republic gunships. At this point, I already had met the entire 252nd Battalion, and for the time being, they called themselves 'The Fox Pack', as they almost had red ear shaped markings on their helmets.

"Jango Fett was a Mandalorian Foundling." I explained. "Foundlings are very prominent in Mandalorian culture."

Obi-Wan nodded. "I am well aware of Mandalorian culture…it never fails to impress me."

I glanced at him in surprise. "I never knew you spent some time on Mandalore."

"Quite a long time. It was a very important assignment. The last time I encountered a Mandalorian though, before you, were during the first assault on Geonosis. Cody, were you involved in that attack?"

Cody shook his head. "No sir, I wasn't involved in the first assault on Geonosis."

"Well, you didn't miss much. Last time, I was chained to a pole and attacked by several humongous monsters." Obi-Wan explained as he boarded his gunship.

I held back my laughter as Cody shook his head in disbelief.

"That sounds…entertaining." He said in slight surprise.

"It was…for the Geonosians." Obi-Wan explains before the doors closed and the gunship took off.

Once Cody and Obi-Wan were gone, I boarded my gunship, which had Fox and a few members of my new battalion ready to go. Various members of the battalion would also be taking part in the aerial assault, along with being in walkers, and also being in another gunship to take part in the ground assault.

"Are your men briefed on the mission?" I asked Fox.

He nodded. "Yes, sir!"

"Good." I nodded before turning towards the clones in the ship. "Alright, you know the mission, you have your orders…if I cannot give you your orders, you listen to Fox and only Fox. Understood?"

They all nodded. "Sir yes sir!"

I nodded back with a smile. "Very well, let's begin our ground assault."

I grabbed on to the overhead rail as I felt the ship take off. This was either going to go really well, or really bad…but as of right now, all of that was up in the air.
