Aurora's Age (21 Years Old)

Aurora's POV

"With all due respect, I seriously think this is a bad idea." I suggested with a sigh as I looked over to Ahsoka who was sitting next to me.

"Hey, you wanted to come along on this one." Anakin replied for her from his spot in the pilot's seat.
"And again, you wanted me to come with the three of you." I responded. "I was perfectly enjoying my time visiting the temple…honestly I'm starting to think Yoda is growing fond of me."

"Master Yoda is fond of everyone." Ahsoka retorted.

"But every time he sees me, he goes 'Princess, a pleasure to see you, this is. Well, I hope you have been.' He doesn't do that to everyone, thus meaning that I am special!" I said with a small smirk as I put my feet up on the shuttle's side console.

"Get your feet off the council." Obi-Wan scolded.

I frowned as I took my feet off. "You are not my father."

He sighed before shaking his head to look forward at the blue hyperspace tunnel. The four of us were headed towards a distant planet within the Chrelythium system. According to Anakin, apparently there is a Jedi distress code that hasn't be used in over 2000 years. Rex was currently awaiting our arrival, as he and the rest of the 501st along with a few members of my battalion (whom we have officially decided to call ourselves the Red Company and or The Fox Pack instead of the 252nd, to pay homage to the former Jedi who commanded them, even though Yoda technically oversaw the Red Company now) were sent out to investigate a few days prior. In other words, I was late with getting to Coruscant since Cid had me practically running around the entire Outer Rim as her client wanted the status on a shipment of spice. I want to kill Cid for the most useless assignment she's every put me on…but…they pay was pretty good to be honest.

And in quite honesty, even though I didn't want to go with them to this 'signal', I was rather happy to accompany them on this mission, as I haven't seen them in so long. It's been a year since an assassination was attempted on my mother's life, along with the fact that I really wasn't needed on some of their missions, but Fox always kept me updated. Ahsoka came to visit and met my cousins and my mother for the first time, as she was dealing with the overall corruption issue on Mandalore, so I only saw her for a short period of time. So even though I seemed annoyed, I was actually really happy to see all three of them again.

"I still say this is someone playing a practical joke on us." I explained. "I mean just the other day, I got a com transmission from Fox who told me that Redeye, Glaive, Gott, and Clue were headed back to the Red Company with Yoda and the members of the original Red Company were coming to work with Fox, Horror, Shock, and Spyder along with myself."

"Ro." Ahsoka began. "That wasn't a practical joke. That happened."

I rolled my eyes, leaned back in my chair, and crossed my arms. "I'm not happy about it."

"I wouldn't be either." Obi-Wan explained. "They all do love you."

I nodded. "They treat me as an equal. Like their sister, rather than a Princess, which I greatly appreciate."

"Coming out of hyperspace now." Anakin said and immediately the blue tunnel was gone, and an endless amount of space was visible.

"Wild space…nothing like it." I said with an eye roll.

Anakin then began to push buttons on the console, allowing for an image of Rex to appear.

"Rex... Rex, do you read me?" Anakin asked. "We're at the rendezvous point awaiting your arrival. Where are you?"

"We're at the rendezvous point awaiting your arrival. Where are you?" Rex asked.

Anakin rolled his eyes. "Oh, come on. That's impossible. Something's wrong. We're at the exact coordinates where the distress signal originated, but there's nothing here. Rex is at the exact same coordinates and he's not here."

"This is getting interesting." Obi-Wan commented.

Rex's transmission then began to cut out, and eventually end.

"Something's blocking the signal." Ahsoka explained and just as she finished speaking, the entire ship's systems shut down automatically.

"Not good." Obi-Wan said with a sigh.

"Everything is dead." Ahsoka remarked. "Even the life support."

"Hmm, this is really strange." Anakin sighed with confusion.

Just then, the ships systems then came back online, and I immediately stood up from my seat.

"There. See? Nothing to be concerned about after all." Obi-Wan said with a small smile.

My eyes widened in horror as I pointed in front of us. "Then what's that?"

Everyone's facial expression became like mine as to what we saw in front of us. In front of us floating in the middle of space was a giant crystal-shaped structure. I've never seen anything like it, I was both petrified yet curious at the same time.

"Fox is going to be so jealous." I murmured, but that's when I realized that the ship was being pulled towards it.

"It's pulling us towards it." Ahsoka remarked, and just as she did, a huge white bright light was shined in front of us, and it was difficult to see.

"Everyone, strap yourselves in. Looks as though we're going for a ride." Obi-Wan explained and Ahsoka and I immediately placed ourselves back into our seats. The next thing I knew, we were in a landed shuttle all just waking up.

"I must have blacked out." Anakin explained.

"Then who landed the shuttle?" Obi-Wan asked.

Ahsoka shook her head. "Not me. Ro?"

I shook my head. "I'm just as confused as you all are."

"Where are we?" Anakin asked.

I pushed a button on my console. "Some kind of organic mass. All of our readings indicate that it's bigger than an asteroid. But at least the atmosphere is breathable."

"Well, this is getting more unusual by the minute. I can't even lock down where in the galaxy we are... Or if we are even in our own galaxy." Obi-Wan explained.

Anakin began to push buttons on the console. "Well, the ship's systems seem ne but for whatever reason, nothing's working."

I immediately rolled my eyes and began to walk toward the off-ramp.

"Where are you going?" Anakin questioned.

I turned my head around to look back at him. "You all dragged me from Ord Mantell for this, I am at least going to get something out of it."

I continued to walk off the ship and within moments Anakin, Ahsoka, and Obi-Wan also followed me off the ship.

We all began to look around and I was surprised by how much greenery there was.

"Hey!" Ahsoka exclaimed. "I saw something. A reflection, up on the hill."

Obi-Wan turned and looked in that direction. "I don't see anything."

The planet was incredible. The mountains and hills, along with the floating rocks, I was stunned by its beauty.

"What the…what?" Anakin explained. "Did you hear that?"

"I didn't hear anything." Obi-Wan explained and both Ahsoka and I nodded.

"Are you the one?" A voice from behind us asked making the three of us all turn around to see a woman, probably around mine and Anakin's age with long green hair, fair skin, wearing a gold dress.

"Hello." Obi-Wan said in a very odd tone which made me give him a look of indecency.

"Seriously?" I practically whispered to him, and he rolled his eyes at me."

"Who are you?" Anakin asked.

"I am daughter. Are you the one?" The woman asked again.

"Uh…the one what?" Anakin asked.

"I will take you to him." Daughter explained.

"Him who?" Ahsoka and I asked in confusion.

"Did you bring us here?" Obi-Wan asked.

"Only he can help you. There is little time. Follow me, we must have shelter by nightfall." Daughter explained and began to lead the way.

"And we thought the planet was strange. How about this one?" Anakin said gesturing to Daughter.

"We'll be fine, as long as we stick together." Obi-Wan explained making the three of us have some sense of morality along with hope that this can't go too bad.

We were walking for a while, which is when I noticed that during the time of day, the seasons began to change.

"Have you noticed the seasons seem to change with the time of day?" Obi-Wan asked.

"Yeah." Anakin replied.

"And there are no animals." Ahsoka replied in agreement.

"And you sense it?" Obi-Wan questioned Anakin.

Anakin nodded. "Since we arrived. The force is very strong."

Obi-Wan nodded. "An intersection unlike anything I've ever felt before. Be wary."

"Excuse me." Anakin said to Daughter. "Who are you taking us to?"

"The Father of course." Daughter replied.

"Of course." I said with an eye roll making Ahsoka smirk.

"And what exactly are you?" Obi-Wan asked.

"We are the ones who guard the power. We are the middle, the beginning, and the end." Daughter explained.

Anakin smirked. "Glad she cleared that up for us."

We continued to walk in silence, but eventually we heard a low rumbling which was caused by a rock to fall overhead. Anakin pushed Daughter out of the way, and Ahsoka, Obi-Wan and I took cover. Unfortunately, Obi-Wan was hanging off the side of the cliff, but thankfully I pulled him up as Ahsoka got knocked to the ground.

"Thank you." He said graciously.

"You're welcome." I smiled.

"Anakin, are you there? Are you alright?" Obi-Wan asked into his com.

"Yeah, but our friend here has run off!" Anakin practically shouted. "Go back to the ship and try sending another distress call. I'll follow her and find out how to get off this rock."

"And if this is a trap?" Obi-Wan questioned.

"Then I'm not going to wait and find out." Anakin practically snapped.

"Anakin stop!" Obi-Wan began. "Wait for us to find another way around to meet you. Anakin?"

Obi-Wan then turned off his com-link. "So reckless and impatient."

"Don't worry." Ahsoka said with reassurance. "He'll find her."

"And what else?" I questioned making both of them look at me with worry as thunder began in the sky. "Storm's coming."

We walked in silence back to the ship and when we got there, the ship was not there.
"Well, this is just great!" I explained in annoyance. "A storm is coming, and the ship is gone!"

Obi-Wan nodded. "Yes, I see that."

"It was here, no question. And look. Everything's dying." Ahsoka explained as she surveyed the area.

"Did you lose something?" A voice from behind us asked, making the three of us turn around, with me grabbing one of my blasters and Ahsoka activating her lightsaber. "You didn't do as you were asked."

"And what was that?" Obi-Wan asked in confusion.

"My sister said to wait." The man explained.

I crossed my arms and rolled my eyes. "Did she now?"

Obi-Wan noticed my annoyance and stepped between me and the man in front of us. "Well, we were unfortunately separated. We'd like our ship back if you don't mind."

"Not…yet!" The man shouted at us. "Is it true that he is the Chosen One?"

This time, Obi-Wan activated his lightsaber, and Ahsoka activated her other lightsaber, I looked at both in confusion before grabbing my other blaster and aiming at the man.

"What do you know of such things?" Obi-Wan asked darkly.

"What is about to happen shall occur whether you like it or not." The man explained and with the wave of his hand, the lightsabers extinguished, and my blasters were thrown out of my hands over the cliff.

"You are Sith." Obi-Wan said in shock.

The man crossed his arms. "Sith?" He then began to laugh. "Yes... And no. The storms here are quite lethal. If you want to live, I suggest you find shelter."

The rain then began to pour down on us, making my blonde hair look drenched. The man then transformed himself into a flying creature and flew away.

"What in the universe was that?" Ahsoka asked.

"I'm not quite sure." Obi-Wan explained.

Meanwhile, I ran over the the edge of the cliff, sat down and began to get ready to climb down to get my blasters.

"Ro!" Ahsoka explained as she ran over. "What are you doing?"

"What does it look like I'm doing?" I asked in annoyance. "I paid good money for those things, and I intend to get them back!"

Lightning bolts began to hit the ground making Obi-Wan come running toward us.

"Worry about the blasters latter, quickly, there's a cave over there!" He explained making both Ahsoka and I get up before the three of us ran to the cave.

After we got a fire going, the warmth allowed for me to fall asleep almost immediately. The next thing that woke me up was a familiar voice calling me.

"Aurora." The voice said making my eyes snap open and for me to sit up straight.

"Who's there?" I questioned in confusion.

"Aurora." The voice said again, as I began to look over my surroundings to see a woman, a lot older than me standing on the other side of the fire.

"Who are you?" I questioned as I looked over her appearance. Her hair was long and red, she was wearing all black, like what I wore now, but had a hooded cloak around her so she could hide her appearance, but it was down so it wasn't covering her hair or face at all. She looked nothing like me…except her face.

She laughed in a rather dark matter. "You should recognize yourself, as we wear the same face."

My eyes widened. "What is going on? What am I doing here? What are we doing here?"

She rolled her eyes. "Here you will learn about yourself and what you were meant to be, as our mother kept our true future from us."

I tilted my head to the side. "What do you mean? We are to rule Mandalore, that was always my future."

She shook her head. "No, you were not. There is another, the one true ruler, whom in which you share a bloodline and bond with. You have another destiny."

"What is that?" I questioned.

She shook her head again. "I have already said too much. There is little time, help them find Skywalker, he is in grave danger."

"Danger?" I questioned. "What kind of danger?"

"Find him." She explained before she stepped into the fire and disappeared.

My eyes immediately snapped open, and I practically jolted awake.

"Aurora!" Obi-Wan said with concern as he and Ahsoka rushed to my side.

"Are you alright?" Ahsoka asked.

I nodded. "We need to find Anakin, something's wrong."

Both shared a glance before looking at me. That's when I realized we all had the same expression on our faces. Fear.
