A/N:
This chapter is shorter compared to the other chapters, due to the fact that I am preparing to go to on vacation for a few weeks, so there will be no update during that time. This chapter though does reveal quite a bit about Aurora, but again, it's not very long.
Happy Holidays/New Year,
The Author
Present Day
Aurora's POV
"So, are you going to tell me about my abilities, or are you just going to sit there and stare at me." I asked in annoyance as The Father stared at me from his seat.
After I had met him in the field, he led me to his 'monastery' which attracted both the Light and Dark sides and as of right now, he was staring at me from his spot as he was sitting on his makeshift throne whereas I was standing with my arms crossing in front of him. I've been standing in this position for the past 4 hours, as it went from daylight to nighttime outside. To be honest though, I felt useless this entire trip. I didn't know what the hell these beings were, nor did I care for that matter...but what annoyed me even more was the fact that they took my weapons from me...except my vambraces, which I was thankful for.
He sighed. "You my dear, are a rather bold one."
I rolled my eyes. "Tell me something I don't know."
"Your sarcasm and wit remind me that of your father." He explained making my eyes widen.
"You knew my father?" I asked in confusion.
"I have met every force user at some point in their lives…whether it be when they enter this world, or when the exit it." He continued.
I tilted my head to the side. "My father was force-sensitive?"
He nodded. "Yes. You possess his gift of being able to sense another life form and ability to heal yourself."
"Heal myself?" I asked. "When I fell, the water from the stream healed me, it sure as hell wasn't me healing myself."
The Father shook his head. "My dear, while you may not possess all the connections to the Force as the Jedi and or Sith do, you possess some abilities that haven't been around in thousands of years. Your abilities to see the past, present, and future, sense individuals, accelerated hearing, and ability to heal yourself all come from your connection to the Force."
"Can I move things with my mind as well?" I asked as The Father got up from his seat and walked toward me.
He shook his head. "If you were at your fullest power…possibly, but there is something blocking your connection to the Force, though I can't make out what it is."
He grabbed my right hand and enclosed it between both palms allowing for an almost holographic projection become displayed in his throne room. What was being show was a significantly younger version of my mother, holding what is presumably me in her arms when I was a baby.
"What is this?" I asked in confusion.
"One of your first Force memories. This is your first usage of the Force, though your mother didn't realize it." He explained.
As I continued to watch the memory, I noticed that my mother and I were not on Mandalore, but instead in the palace gardens on Kalevala. My mother carried me to the spot that I always hid at when I was in the gardens and sat down. I smiled and shook my head slightly.
"Something wrong?" The Father questioned.
I shook my head. "No, just a pleasant memory for once."
As my mother laid me down on the grass, I realized that I began to pull on the flowers, that were planted beneath the tree that my mother and I were sitting under, out of the ground.
"Aurora!" My mother scolded. "Don't pull on the flowers, then they won't grow back."
I frowned in response. Even as a baby, my mother was always telling me how to act.
She then picked me up and placed me in her lap.
"You are going to be quite the handful when you're older." She said to me with a small smirk.
"Well, she's not wrong." I responded with a slight laugh.
I continued to watch, but then I realized that as my mother was staring at me, baby me, was fixated on the flowers that I had just pulled out of the ground. Within seconds, the flowers started to grow again, and bloom just like they had been before. The memory then ended.
I snapped my head around to look The Father in the eyes.
"You have the ability to Force-heal any lifeform, whether it be living or dead, which is rather rare, as most Force users can only heal a certain section of themselves or others, almost never an entire lifeform." He explained.
"Incredible." I said in amazement.
"Your ability to see the past, present, and future however…that is a rarity. Something so rare that it hasn't been seen in thousands of years…since the time of the Old Republic." The Father explained.
"So, my nightmares aren't real?" I asked in confusion.
He nodded. "They are dreams of the past, present, and future. They can be either from your life, or the life of someone you know…anyone you have a connection to."
"Does anyone currently have this ability?" I asked.
"Other than the Chosen One?" The Father questioned and I nodded. "Yes, your brother."
My eyes widened and I took a step back. "My brother? I don't have a brother. I'm an only child."
The Father shook his head. "My dear, you have a brother. You are the same age, born on the same day, in the same year…you have already met him and established a connection…a Force bond if you will."
I stood there in shock. A brother. I have a real brother. I had so many questions, but I knew I wouldn't get them answered by the Father, but that's when it hit me on who my brother could be.
"Korkie." I whispered to myself. "Is he just as powerful as I am?"
The Father nodded. "If not, potentially more."
"Why did my mother hide this from us? My brother and I aren't even the same age! How the hell did she make it so I'm 3 years older than him?" I asked in frustration.
The Father shook his head again. "I do not have all of the answers with regards to your situation, and if I did, you would need to figure them out yourself."
I rolled my eyes. "You know this trip is becoming more and more useless. You won't tell me shit! You told me you'd have the answers, and you have none!"
"Someone is quite angry." A darkened voice explained.
I whipped my head around to see The Son walking toward The Father and I. The Son had a smirk plastered on his face as he stood in front of me whereas a look of anger was plastered on mine. His right hand touched my shoulder.
"You are a very rare breed." He explained in awe that made me want to vomit. "But you are no Chosen One."
"You are growing stronger, my son." The Father explained.
"Am I, father?" The Son questioned.
The Father nodded. "Vanity, however, is getting the better of you."
"How so?" The Son asked.
"You have done what is forbidden. You've chosen the dark side and allowed it to feed your anger and desire for power." The Father continued.
"By bringing the chosen one here, you've shown me my potential." The Son explained. "You've only yourself to blame."
"Do not do this, son. Do not become what you should not. Be strong, I implore you, or else I will be forced to contain you." The Father pleaded as he got up and began to walk out of the throne room. Just as he was doing so, The Daughter flew down before shapeshifting into her human form and kneeled before the throne on the right side of it that The Father was once sitting at.
"You look frail, father." The Son explained.
"I am not dead yet." The Father retorted.
"Well, perhaps I am tired of waiting!" The Son shouted before firing electric bolts from his hands. My eyes widened in shock as I had never seen anything like this occur before, and I didn't know what to do.
"I HATE YOU!" The Son shouted before turning into his flying form and flying away.
Both The Daughter and I rushed out of the monastery and ran down the steps of it to see The Father knocked unconscious. I looked to her as she lifted his body by using the force and brought him back inside. I stood at the base of the steps and watched the sight unfold before me. I was in utter shock at what I had learned about myself, along with the fact that these being are so strong within the Force, and that I was a part of the group of beings that used the Force as well.
"Aurora!" A familiar voice shouted from behind me.
I quickly turned around to see Obi-Wan running up to me and engulfing me into a hug, which I gladly returned.
"Are you alright? Are you hurt? Did The Son take you too?" He asked as he looked me over in concern once I pulled away from the hug.
I shook my head. "No, I'm alright….what do you mean 'Did the Son take me?'"
His eyes filled with fear. "Ahsoka has been captured by The Son, and he wishes to travel off world and wreak havoc on the galaxy. I wanted to speak with the father on how to get Ahsoka back…but it seems that may be impossible now, given his condition."
I sighed. "But the next best thing is standing right there."
He nodded before the two of us walked back inside the monastery. We sat near The Daugher as she kneeled before her father.
"We must talk to him." Obi-Wan began.
The Daughter shook her head. "Not until he's stronger."
"But your brother is losing himself to the dark side. He's taken our friend." Obi-Wan explained.
"Then he must have his reasons." The Daughter countered.
"The same reason he had for attempting to murder your father?" I asked.
"He would never do such a thing." She retorted.
"But we saw him." I countered.
"It is not his fault." She explained. "My nature is to do what is selfless, but my brother's will always be to do what is selfish."
"Then know you must help us." Obi-Wan practically begged.
She shook her head. "I cannot interfere with the ways of the force. My father forbids it."
"Your brother will flee this place and wreak havoc on the universe." He explained.
"You and Anakin combined have the power to stop him."
She sighed as she turned to me. "You can use your powers as well, though they are not at their full potential, you and the Chosen one will be able to do the job."
Obi-Wan's eyes widened as he turned to me. "What?"
"It's not important now." I explained as I shrugged it off. "You are ten times stronger than I am. Your connection is deeper and extends through years if not centuries or millennia of training verses my few moments of me learning that what I thought was my intuition is me being connected to some glorified superpower. Please…I beg you, help us."
She sighed before standing up. "Come with me."
Obi-Wan and I both stood up and followed her out of the monastery and something told me that this was not going to go well…at all.
