Present Day

Aurora's POV

I sighed in annoyance as I looked up to the dark Coruscant sky. I sighed as I pulled the hood over my head to try and protect myself from the pouring rain. Even though we were in the lower levels of Coruscant, for some reason the weather was always equal on every part of the planet. Thankfully, I had a water-proof black jacket on that concealed my weapons and protected me from getting wet.

"How much farther?" I asked in annoyance to Alex who was a couple steps in front of me.

"Not much." He explained.

I rolled my eyes and shivered slightly. Whenever it rained on Coruscant, I always felt cold. As a matter of fact, whatever planet I was on, no matter what climate it was usually, whenever it rained, I always felt cold.

"How much is not much?" I asked as I crossed my arms, to try and get some kind of warmth.

"What's wrong?" He asked before stopping abruptly.

I sighed again. "I'm cold."

"You have a jacket on?" He questioned.

I rolled my eyes before walking past him. "Forget it."

He eventually caught up to me and was back walking in front of me as we weaved our way through the densely populated street. For level 1313, which if you don't know is one of the most criminally active levels on Coruscant, was rather populated.

"How did you meet this person anyways?" I asked Alex as we made a turn down an alleyway.

"I met her while doing some work on Oba Diah…don't worry, we can trust her." He explained as we came to a halt in the middle of the alleyway.

"Are you sure about that?" I asked with hesitance.

"Oh, he's sure…the thing is, are you sure you can trust me Princess?" A familiar voice said from above us before jumping down to land in front of us.

I took the hood off my jacket as I felt a chill run down my spine. As the figure walked towards us, I powered up my vambraces and aimed them ahead of me, as the person who stepped into the light was non-other than my old partner when I worked for Dooku…Ventress herself.

"Miss me Princess?" She taunted with a smirk.

I glared. "I'm sure Dooku misses my services, I always could kill people faster than you."

Her eyes narrowed, and that's when I realized that she didn't have her lightsabers on her.

"Ro stand down." Alex explained. "She won't kill you, right?"

Ventress sighed. "As much fun as I'd have killing you Aurora, I don't work for Dooku anymore…I've taken up your field of Bounty Hunting…I've should've done it years ago, I'm making more than I ever have."

I looked at her with caution before lowering my arms and deactivating my vambraces.

"Thank you." Ventress began. "Alexsandr, this must be awfully important if you are asking me this late at night to meet me."

"Yes." Alex began. "We need to know who killed the Jedi."

Ventress laughed. "You mean Obi-Wan Kenobi? Please…Vizsla learn your Jedi…my condolences Princess, I'm so sorry for the loss of your mentor."

My eye began to twitch as my anger started to grow.

"Or dare I even say…your father." She taunted.

That's all it took. Just as I was about to launch myself forward to attack her, Alex grabbed my left arm.

"Don't." He warned before stepping forward. "Alright Ventress, you aggravated her, happy now?"

She smiled that ugly wicked smile of hers. "Of course."

"Now answer my question, who killed Obi-Wan Kenobi?" Alex asked.

Ventress sighed. "I don't know much about him, but evidently, he was taken into a Republic Prison…before he escaped. He escaped with Moralo Eval and Cad Bane, apparently, they all are in some kind of plot with Dooku…what the plot is, I don't know."

"What is his name?" I asked.

"They call him 'The Marksman of Concord Dawn', but others know him as Rako Hardeen." She explained.

That named sounded familiar, but I couldn't recall where I heard it. Alex turned around and looked to me, and I just shrugged my shoulders.

He turned back around to face Ventress. "Do you know where they are headed?"

"Nal Hutta, the last time I heard." She explained. "Now if you'll both excuse me, I have another job I have to take care of…the next time I see you Princess, I'll make sure your I bring your head to Dooku on a silver platter." She taunted me as she disappeared into the darkness of the alley.

"She really has such a way with words." I said with an eye roll.

Alex didn't reply as we headed back to the ship. His ship was a typical Spice Freighter, that was almost the exact model of ship that the Twilight is, so I could park Obi-Wan's starfighter within the ship. As we began to pilot off the surface, I walked into the cockpit and sat down next to Alex. I grabbed a datapad off the console and began typing on it.

I turned around in my chair. "Geenine?"

She beeped in response, giving me her full attention.

"Run a search through police reports, criminal archives, and any source you can find on Rako Hardeen." I explained.

She beeped in agreement before plugging herself into the ship as I turned back to my datapad. Alex glanced over to me from the pilot's seat. "Is this what you're having my droid do now? Do all your dirty work for you?"

I looked over to him and rolled my eyes. "First off, she's my droid, your father gave her to me when you left, and second of all, no, I am researching the best I can everything about Rako Hardeen."

Alex was silent until he jumped the ship to hyperspace.

"Do you know him? Hardeen?" He asked as he turned his pilot's chair to look at me.

I shook my head not looking up from my datapad. "The name sounds so familiar, but I don't know where I've heard it before. I know Bane and Eval all too well, and the only reason I know them is because they're my competitors."

"The same with me as well, that name sounds familiar…I didn't know you were that close to Kenobi." He explained.

I sighed. "He's like the father I've never had. He's been helping me deal with my trauma from all my years in Death Watch, assassin jobs, and working under Dooku…though he doesn't know I worked under him…but honestly, I wouldn't put it past him if he did."

"He seems like he was a smart man." Alex replied putting his right hand on my knee, which made me look him in the eyes.

I nodded. "He was…he was wise…not as wise as Yoda, but he knew how to handle me, and Anakin, and Ahsoka…to be honest, they're the only people who treated me well that weren't my brother or Zara."

Alex's eyebrows rose to meet his blonde hairline. "Brother, you don't have a brother."

I laughed and nodded. "Wow, we have a lot to talk about…yes I do have a brother."

"Who the hell is your brother?" He asked in disbelief.

"Korkaran, apparently he's my twin brother." I explained and his eyes widened.

"How is that possible?" He began. "You two aren't even the same age."

I shrugged. "Honestly, I don't even know nor do the Jedi, it's probably his powers and my powers not forming at the same time."

Alex looked at me with wide eyes.

"What?" I asked in confusion.

"You have…powers?" He asked slowly and I laughed again.

I nodded. "Apparently, my father was a Jedi…unfortunately I still don't know who he is…but yes, my brother and I both can use the Force."

"Can you move things with your mind?" He asked.

I sighed. "Kind of. Obi-Wan was teaching me before…you know…but apparently my nightmares are visions of the future…my brother gets similar dreams at night sometimes. I also can heal people and myself…but I pass out if it's a big wound or injury. Apparently, there is some sort of signal blocking my connection and my brother's connection to the Force, but once we figure out what that signal is, we can get rid of it and unlock our powers to their full potential."

"Hold on." He began putting his right hand up. "What do you mean you can heal people and yourself."

I smiled and grabbed the dagger out of my belt. "Give me your arm."

He sighed and did as I said. I then grabbed the dagger and sliced his right arm open.

"GAH!" He yelled in pain. "What the fuck was that for?"

Geenine then turned away from the wall and began to beep furiously.

I pointed at Geenine. "He's fine, get back to work!"

Alex looked at his arm in anger. "This isn't funny Ro; this is a serious injury."

He was about to get up to get the gauze and bandages, but I grabbed his arm to make him sit down.

"Just do me a favor?" I asked shyly.

"What?" He asked in annoyance.

"Don't…freak out?" I asked quietly as I placed both of my hands over the incision I just made.

I closed my eyes and began to focus on the incision I had just made on Alex's arm. I blocked out all of the sounds, all of the surroundings, even the blue of the hyperspace tunnel surrounding the ship and focused only on the injury. After a few moments, I removed both of my hands from his arm and smiled when I noticed that the incision was gone, and no scar was visible on his arm.

He looked at his arm, then looked to me in shock. "Whoa."

I nodded. "Freaky right?"

"This is way more interesting than moving things with your mind." He began. "This is a way more useful skill."

I nodded. "Now all I need is lightsaber's and I'll be complete."

"How long have you known about this?" He asked.

"A few months." I explained.

"Does Korkie know that he can potentially do this?" He asked.

"Yes and no, right now I have him occupied…he's training with Crashun." I explained.

"Crashun? Crashun Ordo?" Alex asked.

I nodded. "Yeah, what about it?"

He sighed. "You do know that guy wants to take over the entire Mandalorian sector…he may be honorable…but he's no better than my father with his ambitions…I'd watch my back if I were you."

I nodded before Alex turned back to look at the hyperspace tunnel surrounding the ship.

That's when it hit me that Alex was right. All this time I was blinded by Crashun's idea of a 'perfect Mandalorian society', when all he wanted was to make Mandalore feared again…which isn't the right thing to do. Mandalorians should be feared, but their civilizations should not be conquered forcibly like what Crashun was trying to do on Onderon. After all this mess was over and once Rako Hardeen was killed, the next person on my list of people I am cutting ties with is Crashun, not just because he potentially wants to murder my family, but the fact that he manipulated me into believing in his cause that his version of 'True Mandalorians' were the right way for Mandalore.

"We're coming out of hyperspace." Alex announced.

I sighed as we came out of hyperspace and the dull world of Nal Hutta came in front of us.

Geenine then beeped, rolled forward, and projected a holographic image of a man with a tattoo on his face in front of us.

"I guess that's him." Alex explained before glancing at me.

I nodded. "I can't wait to watch his blood spill out of his body when I kill him.

"You always did like to kill people." He replied.

I shook my head. "I hate killing people."

Alex frowned and looked to me. "But?"

I smirked and turned to him. "But I love revenge."
