The Couture Club finishes making outfits. Shun shows off his handmade shorts while Chihiro shows off her red dress. Each gives their two cents.

This week concludes the June chapter.

[June 28, Thursday - week 5]

(morning class)

Jojo provides today's lecture to the class and summarizes important points before his shift ends for the school lunch break.

"Given how things are made of atoms, the same can be said for cells that humans and animals share. The difference is that plants have the cells required to produce energy, called photosynthesis. This allows plants to combine sun, water, and carbon dioxide to make oxygen. We can breathe and exist because, well, you can thank plants for that. Alright, that sums up today's topic. Remember that final exams are two weeks away, so you must study as much as possible. We'll recap the topics next week."

Jojo takes his belongings and walks out of the classroom. He senses someone following him and turns around to see Hyoga behind him.

"Sorry for startling you, Jojo-sensei," Hyoga says.

"Ah, Patito-kun! Do you need something from me?" His teacher's eyes sparkle and widen in anticipation of a response.

"I was wondering what your plans are. You know, with summer coming and all. I mean, we didn't have the chance to fully meet."

"That is true, but I've been so busy. I don't teach just the first years. I cover the whole school. That's like a lot of students to teach."

"The same can be said for Touya-san, right?"

"Of course! But Touya has it easier since he used to be a college professor, so working with a large number of students is nothing to him."

"But you seem to enjoy what you do given the passion of your lectures."

"That is true. The life of a teacher is an exhausting but a satisfying one."

"Mind if I ask what you did before you came here?"

"I can't say it! I don't want to get in trouble with the school, but rest assured, it was completely legal." Jojo sweats nervously.

"So there's no way to meet during the summer."

"I'm afraid not. I'll be busy with summer school, giving classes to underperforming kids. Touya will do the same. But you won't have issues hanging out during summer, given how close you are to your brigade. Also, you wouldn't need summer school overall because of your grades."

"Is that true? I don't need summer school?"

"Yes! The same is true for your friends. All of you got good grades during midterms, and I'm positive the same will be for final exams. Plus, you guys do your homework on time, unlike some who cram."

"That's reassuring to know. Thank you."

"To be fair, there is the second and third semesters. Maybe I can find a way for us to meet at some point. Of course, I'll bring Touya along because I know he would want to, even though he can't openly say it."

"But don't stress yourself..." Hyoga sweats.

"Aw, thank you for your understanding. But I'll be okay. Handling large crowds is nothing new for me, and Touya will be by my side, too." Jojo glances at the clock on the wall. "Looks like quite a time passed. Gotta go, Patitio-kun!" Jojo pats on his head. "Gotta prepare for the next class."

Hyoga flinches a bit and blushes, though he enjoys the gesture. Jojo withdraws his hand and turns around to walk away dramatically, with a pastel-looking background, mystery-flowing rose petals, and smooth jazz music. Meanwhile, Hyoga stands there watching, still flushed.

"Jojo-sensei..." his eyes quiver.

Suddenly, he hears a familiar voice.

"Hey!" Seiya's voice calls out. Seiya, Shiryu, and Shun rush to see their friend, who's still standing and seemingly distracted.

"We saw you rush out to see Jojo-sensei, and you didn't return, so we got worried. Is everything okay? You didn't break down, did you?" Seiya asks.

"Oh no! I did not! I just wanted to speak with him. That's all."

"That's reassuring. You get sparkly-eyed sometimes, though," Shiryu says.

"Half an hour has already passed, and you haven't eaten, so you should eat before our next class," Shun says. "Your lunch is still there."

With that said, the four of them return to class.

(after school)

"Alright! Everyone should have their summer projects ready to show off."

At Kokiku's command, club members show off their different summer gear, from t-shirts to dresses to accessories. Several members are clapping and praising the various designs presented so far.

"Very good! One of you should be next."

Kokiku refers to either Shun's or Chihiro's turn.

"Who should go next, Shun-san?" Chihiro asks.

"You should go first, Chihiro-san," Shun says.

"I see. Save the best for last. Very well."

Chihiro shows off a knee-length red dress with a halter collar neck. She takes her design and changes behind the foldable divider in the corner, then emerges ready to model. Once out, she models for her clubmates.

"Amazing, Chihiro-san! Just as expected of you," Kokiku says.

Everyone stares at her dress with amazement.

"We still have one left. Shun-san, show us yours!"

"Here's what I have done." Shun shows a pair of homemade pink shorts with buttons on the side. "I can wear this however I want."

He does the same as Chihiro and changes into the shorts behind the foldable divider. Then he gets out with every member praising him.

"Amazing, Shun-san! You never cease to surprise us. I have to say these shorts fit with your shirt and those suspenders overall," Kokiku praises.

Every member openly comments on his outfit non-stop, perhaps more than the other designs due to him being a guy and the first to successfully complete a project for the school club.

"Everyone has done an amazing job on your projects. Good job! We have next week's meeting for another important topic before the final exams. Remember that we don't meet the week before so we can study."

Once everyone disbands and leaves, Shun and Chihiro remain alone.

"What do you think of my wear, Shun-san? Did it make you fall for me?"

"It was certainly... alluring." Shun smiles.

"So you were enchanted. I'm so glad my efforts paid off. I like the shorts by the way. They suit you so well. I also like how they match with the suspenders. They're from my store, yes?"

"Of course! I have more in different colors."

"You seem to be a huge fan of those things."

"Haha! I guess you can say that." he flushes.

"If we were to hang during summer vacation, I want to see you wearing those shorts every now and then. And maybe suspenders."

"Okay, then you do the same. I bet my friends would flip when they get to see you again."

"I don't see why not. I bet they'll be just as enchanted as you." Chihiro grabs Shun's arm. "Shun-san! Let's hang at Shibuya and eat sweets!"

"Of course! I'm up for it."
