"Well, that was a cute little love story! Pretty Palutena doesn't invite RWBY because they looked exhausted, I fight Pitty Pat, Dark Ruby doesn't become a thing in that universe, Pit and Ruby meet differently and fall in love… no matter what universe they're in, you just can't keep them apart!"
Hades looked through the universes. "Plus, Dark Ruby not being a thing is always a plus." He chuckled as he scanned the universe until he came across two.
"Ooooh…" He took a look at them. "These two are a bit similar, yet have different endings… heck, this one seems to have multiple endings. Hmph, this one acts like it's a video game or something! Hahahaha!"
Hades rubbed his chin in thought before pushing the one universe away. "We'll do that one later. This one intrigues me more."
He smirked. "We all know what happened in the Underworld, specifically Zagreus's Underworld. Junko and Chiaki fight to the death, and even though Chiaki almost bit it, she was saved by Cerberus, Junko winds up in the Lethe River and she becomes a good guy while Chiaki becomes a gaming queen! Heheheh… but let's say that Cerberus didn't come right away… I wonder what kind of nonsense will happen? Let's find out together!"
What If… Junko Won?
"I sure hope this gets exciting!"
Cerberus's ears perked up as he was chewing on his prize that Zagreus had given him. He sensed that Chiaki was in trouble and started to move toward the duo.
"Cerberus!" Hades appeared to him. "Come, boy. You do not need to intervene."
Cerberus whined.
"Let them fight. We do not need to interfere with human squabbles… even if one of them managed to kill me." He said, putting Cerberus on a leash and walked back to his quarters, with Cerberus sadly walking behind him in shame. One of the heads looked behind in worry before turning his head back in sadness.
The heads perked up when they heard an explosion, but as Hades tugged him along… there was nothing they could do.
With the duo…
A J Tetromino slid across the ground as Chiaki put her foot up to stop it. She stared at the smoke after using her Final Smash on Junko. "Eff you." She quietly said as she turned her back to her and summoned a Pecha Berry, her vision getting a bit blurry. "Right on time." She said as she went to eat it…
…Until a sword pierced through her gut from none other than Junko herself. A surprised pained look was seen in her eyes as Junko gleefully twisted the sword before pulling out, kicking her down as Chiaki coughed out blood. "This is on you, ya know. You made me do what I had to do." She flipped her around as Chiaki tried to summon a healing item but Junko crushed her hand. "Nuh-uh-uh! Your video gaming days are over~"
Junko smirked. "I want to see the look in your eyes as I finish you off! You don't get a third chance… but I'll get a second chance of bringing this entire world into despair… AND NO ONE WILL STOP ME!"
She raised her sword up, ready to finish the struggling Chiaki off… but she paused for a moment. Hmm… actually… She backed away as Chiaki looked at her in confusion before she desperately tried to search for a healing item, finding the Medigun.
She tried to apply it to herself, but Junko snagged a hold of it and aimed it at Chiaki to heal herself up.
"Wh-what…" Chiaki felt herself feel better as she got up. "What… what was that for? I thought you were trying to-"
Junko roundhouse kicked her into the liver. "NNNNNGH!" Chiaki gasped as she immediately fell over, the world spinning around her.
"Actually… I got a better idea~" She said, raising Chiaki's hand up and forcing her to open up her screens. "Let's see… what should we… ah, here we go!" She forcibly summoned the Gravity Hammer.
"Night night~!" She swung it down on her head to knock her out, but the recoil was enough to knock Junko on her butt. "Whoa! …Ohohoho, that's nasty. I love it!" She strapped it to her back as she picked up Chiaki, putting her over her shoulder and walked out with a hum.
Once she walked out, she looked around. "Okay, sooooo… how do I get back?"
"Allow me." A voice said as she turned to see Xerneas approaching her. "I am Xerneas, the Life Pokemon. I have been meaning to go into this world and revive you, Chiaki-... wait… you are Chiaki Nanami, are you not?"
"Oh yes, I'm definitely Chiaki Nanami!" Junko lied. "Don't mind this girl on my shoulder. She's just a damsel I picked up. I'm glad we both got out of there."
Xerneas eyed her suspiciously. "I see… I will take you to the Mushroom Kingdom. But I must warn you, it's a mess."
"Ah, nothing like a little fixer upper will do." Junko smiled as she hopped on Xerneas as he took the both of them to the Mushroom Kingdom.
BGM: Phaaze (Metroid Prime 3: Corruption)
The portal opened up as the three of them went through as Junko hopped out. "There's not much you can do, I'm afraid… but if you wish to stay here, that is your business." Xerneas said and made another portal to the evacuees.
Junko set Chiaki down. "Phew, I can just smell the radiation from here." She said as Chiaki groaned, coming around.
"Uuungh…"
"Morning, sleeping beauty!"
Chiaki shook her head as she came around. "...Where am I…?"
"Eh, I wasn't paying attention. I think he said… the blue goo Kingdom or something?"
"Blue goo…?" Chiaki looked around and gasped. "That's phazon! And… we're in the Mushroom Kingdom!"
"Ah, the Mushroom Kingdom, of course…" Junko rolled her eyes. "You seem to know a lot about the Phazon. Tell me. What is it?"
"Like I should tell you?"
Junko unstrapped the Gravity Hammer. "I'm afraid you don't have a choice."
Chiaki groaned. "Alright… the Phazon corrupts any living being it touches. It's harmful to the touch and does a number on your health. It shortens your life expectancy."
"Oh, is that right? Now suppose if, say… the Queen of Despair gets a hold of the Phazon. I suppose it could… enhance me?"
"Well… it definitely can enha-..." Chiaki's eyes widened. "No… you wouldn't!"
"Oh, but I would~!"

BGM: Shaded Truths (Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep)
Junko eagerly turned to the Phazon. "Come to mama!"
"NO!" Chiaki tackled her, wrapping her arms around her to try and fight her off.
"Mmmph! You're stronger than you look!" Junko elbowed her in the throat.
"Nnnaaagh!" She grunted as Junko back handed her down. Chiaki got back up and summoned the Master Sword as she tried to slash her, but Junko unsheathed her Poison Blade and parried her and then slashed her in the stomach.
"Nnngh!" She grunted, falling on both knees as Junko kicked her down. She immediately summoned a Full Restore and sprayed it on herself… right as Junko turned around and eagerly dove right in. "JUNKO NOOOOOO!"

Meanwhile…
Hiyoko was knocked to the ground, the Dustflier pinning her down and roaring in her face… until Caboose grabbed him by the tail and swung him, slamming him into the ground repeatedly. "Do! Not! Hurt! My! FRIEND!" He yelled as the Keyblade Wielders all looked at each other and shrugged before they attacked the Heartless to finish it off.
With Dark Samus…
"Mmmm…" Dark Samus had her arms folded, looking quite disturbed.
"Something wrong?" A Space Pirate asked.
"I don't know why… but I can't help but shake the feeling that something is terribly wrong."
"What, that we're losing?"
"No, not that. I… I feel as if my Phazon is no longer under my command. As if… someone else is taking full control of it. Like someone was all too eager to jump in without hesitation."
"That… should be a good thing, right? You have another minion!"
"...But do I though?"
Later, after Dark Samus's defeat…
"But take comfort in knowing that your defeat means one thing." Cinder smirked.
"And what's that?"
"That this war is over… and Ridley and Mother Brain are just delaying the inevitable. And with your fall, we'll finally be free of the Phazon you plagued us with."
Dark Samus narrowed her eyes. "In all honesty… I hope that's the case."
"Hmm?" Ibuki tilted her head in confusion as Cinder fired the arrow into her chest. "...You guys heard that too, right?"
"Hmm… that raises some concerns." Hiyoko said. "Honestly, I hope it doesn't mean anything."
"Here's hoping you're right…" Peach said with concern.
Later, after the Phazon War…
Ruby raised the Miracle Cure in the air. "Miracle Cure, hear my plea… cure this universe of Phazon!"
The Miracle Cure lit up like a beacon, dispelling the Phazon off of Ruby's body and then flew off. "Let's go home." Ruby smiled as the ships roared to life and went into hyperspace.
Once the Miracle Cure reached Remnant, it moved its way toward the Mushroom Kingdom and started to unleash its magic, but then a hand grabbed a hold of the Miracle Cure. "Tch… look at you. You think you can just try to undo the beautiful Phazon in this world? I don't think so."
Junko clutched her hand as tight as she could, enveloping the Miracle Cure with Phazon before it started to crack and shattered in her hand. "Hmph. Adorable." She said as she snapped her fingers, making the Phazon turn invisible as she walked back to her home base with a spring in her step.
Back at the ships, Dr. Toadley folded his arms, deeply troubled. "Hmmm…"
"Something wrong?" Ruby asked.
"I don't know why, but I can't help but shake the feeling that something horribly wrong just happened."
"Ah, I think you're on edge after the whole war." Yang said.
"Perhaps you're right… but is there a reason for concern for why I'm feeling this way? There most certainly is."
The ships landed on the ground as everyone started to walk out, looking over at the Mushroom Kingdom. "Alriiiiight!" Nora walked out while stretching. "Remnant, we're hoooooome~!"
"The Miracle Cure has not come back yet. Is this a red flag? It most certainly is!"
"Ah, you're just paranoid!" Nora jumped off.
Ruby smiled. "Alright, let's-"
"GYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!" Nora screamed, catching their attention as they looked down to see Nora convulsing.
"Nora! What's going on?! Nora!" Ren exclaimed. "NORA!"
Immediately, several UFOs came flying over and combined into one to create a massive screen.
"UPUPUPUPUPU! HIYAH KIDDIES! BEEN A WHILE!"
BGM: It's A Monokuma World (Danganronpa Another Episode: Ultra Despair Girls)
"JUNKO?!" Hiyoko yelled.
They would see Junko having blue skin with blackened veins running through her while her hair was electric blue with black tips.
"While you were off fighting some silly war, I came back to this world where I took a lovely bath into the Phazon! It was absolutely breathtaking! Kinda stung a bit but that's nothing to worry about. Now I'm the Ultimate Queen of Phazon! What, you don't believe me? Get a load of this!"
She snapped her fingers as the Phazon reappeared in front of them. Everyone gasped in shock while several civilians screamed in terror. "That's riiiiiiight~! I made the Phazon invisible to give you a false sense of security! And look, one of you blindly jumped into the Phazon! Talk about dumb!"
Junko grinned, pressing a button as an army of Monokuma robots came running out. "Now, things are gonna be different around here! You will bow before your queen otherwise I'll just make you all despair! …Oh, what the heck, I'll do it anyway!"
Nora tried to get out of the Phazon as Ruby reached down to try and get her out of there, but a Monokuma bot grabbed a hold of her and suddenly absorbed Nora, trapping her into the bot.
"NO!"
"Don't worry about her, she's just a prisoner within that Monokuma. Nothing bad will happen to her… she'll just be spat into a prison and then I'll break her, where she'll be a slave to despair! Isn't that fantastic! I call this the Tragedy 2.0! Good luck trying to get out there, because that Phazon is a nasty bi-atch!"
Junko grinned. "But why stop with Monokuma bots? We got Monokuma UFOs too! Take 'em!" She cackled as the screen disappeared as several Monokuma UFOs charged ahead.
They all heard the sound of a draconic roar as Bowser jumped in and breathed fire at the Monokuma UFOs, destroying them as he also melted the Monokuma bots that climbed over the Blue Typhoon.
"There's no doubt in my mind that more will keep coming!" Kamek said. "What do you propose we do?"
Bowser clenched his fists. "Everyone! Evacuate to my castle on the double!"
"We'll hold them off!" Captain Goomba said as the Koopa Troop got into position.
"Lady Marnie! I would advise that you evacuate." Captain Slime said. "We'll hold them off while you get to Lord Bowser's castle!"
"Right…" Marnie nodded, feeling sad that they're staying behind but they quickly got into airships and took off to Bowser's Castle, only as they did, large Monokuma UFOs shot several airships down while also destroying the Great Fox, Observatory, Blue Typhoon, the Egg Carrier, Falcon Flyer and the Halberd.

"Boom! How's that for an opener! But just wait, it's about to get even crazier and I'm all here for it! Several months go by… yes, you heard right, this went on for several months! And just when things look like they're at their bleakest, little does Junko know… that there's a fire burning within Bowser's Castle…"
"Mmm…" Bowser paced around the throne room. Every day, it got worse and the survivors dwindled by either falling into full despair that nothing's changing, or a few Monokuma robots snuck in and grabbed a survivor despite their best efforts to get them away.
He looked at a chalkboard of the remaining survivors left.

He made damn sure that his son was not going to fall into despair and be another victim to Junko. He snarled, recalling how his family was taken in front of him as they sacrificed themselves to protect Junior.
Protecting his son was his top priority… but sooner or later, no one will be able to stop Junko. A part of believed there were other survivors scattered around the Mushroom Kingdom and Remnant, but they were so far and inbetween that he wasn't quite sure.
He punched the wall in frustration. He had just lost Roman an hour ago when he protected Neo from a Monokuma UFO, and despite his best efforts, he was taken away. Not only that, but Raven and Cinder went off to scout for survivors, but they never came back.
"We have someone coming in!"
Bowser turned toward the window as he hurried out and into the courtyard as some Koopatrols carried in Raven, where Summer immediately was by her side. "Rae… speak to me…" Summer said. "Where's Cinder?"
"It… it was horrible…" Raven had her hand over her chest, weakly breathing. "We… we got ambushed. We tried to fight back but we were overwhelmed… hah… hah… I barely got out but Cinder… she's no longer with us… as for me… I… don't have…"
Mikan immediately came to Raven's side as she tried to patch her back up.
"Summer… they… they have… Ru… by…" She breathed her last as Mikan closed her eyes with a sigh.
"We lost her…" Mikan quietly said, closing her eyes as Summer held Raven's hand, tears swelling in her eyes.
"Heads up! We got another survivor coming in!" A Koopatrol exclaimed as they turned to see Doom Guy trudging in slowly, holding Isabelle in his arms as he fell over.
"Slayer… Slayer, no!" Isabelle cried, tearing up and shaking Doom Guy as Ibuki immediately turned Doom Guy over and took off his helmet.
"Oh no…" Ibuki said as Sonia looked over.
"He's heavily wounded…" Sonia said as Mikan checked his vitals.
"We're losing him! Someone get me a med pack on the double!" Mikan called out.
"We're fresh out!" A Paratroopa exclaimed as Doom Guy clasped Ibuki's hand. He gave her a smirk.
"Rip…" He weakly said.
Ibuki teared up, giving him a sad smile. "And tear…" She said, her voice cracking as Doom Guy fell limp, causing Isabelle to sob over his chest.
"We lost him?! You gotta be kidding me…" Hiyoko said.
Bowser growled, punching another wall in frustration. "Every day, we lose more and more scouts!"
"Not to mention when we send survivors out to go look for supplies… they come back with only a few left." Aoi sighed.
Bowser looked toward Kyoko. "How's she holding up?"
"She's keeping it together, but when Makoto sacrificed himself, she's been an emotional wreck ever since."
"Figures…" He turned to the Class of 77 who were comforting Ibuki and Isabelle. "It's amazing how they didn't give in to the despair."
Aoi smiled. "Well, they gained an immunity to it after they fell to despair the first time. At least we have some hope out there."
Summer, meanwhile, looked toward the horizon and clutched her undead heart. "Ruby… please… please be strong." She said to herself.
"Good news, everyone!" A voice said as they turned to see Kamek approaching them. "We finally did it! We finally created Phazon Armor so we can trudge through that sludge together!"
Marnie walked up. "It wasn't easy, but with Samus's help, we got it figured out. Outfitted for each and every one of-" She spotted Raven and Doom Guy. "...Shit."
"Yeah, it's not pretty." Ann sighed.
Kamek turned to Summer. "Summer, if I may speak with you for a moment." He said as Summer nodded and walked after him.
Summer sighed as they were away. "I know what you're going to ask…"
"I know. And I know you prefer being a ghost and you only came back to put a stop to Dark Ruby, but these are difficult times." Kamek said. "However, I came up with a solution."
"That being?"
Kamek pulled out a Mushroom that was green and white. "Something that I've invented myself. I call it… the Ghoulish 1-Up. With this, you can come back alive and regain your lost body. However, with this, you can freely go into your ghost form anytime you wish. Human form, ghost form… and I made sure this will let you summon any weapon at your disposal."
"Kamek…"
"This is a long shot, but it might just give us an edge. Of course… they found a way to capture Rei, but… perhaps this could be different. I'm also kind of curious what your semblance is, to be honest."
Summer looked at the 1-Up, and with a deep breath. "I'll do it."
"Yeah, I figured you would say no-... wait, excuse me?"
"You said it yourself. Desperate times… and honestly, I want to see my daughter again. So if it means coming back alive… so be it. I'll get Ruby whatever it takes…" She looked over at Rosalina. "...And we'll watch over her together."
Kamek smiled. "That's the spirit." He handed her the Mushroom as Summer looked at it.
"No going back…" She said as she popped it in her mouth, where she glowed brightly as Kamek watched as Summer gently descended to the ground. She then put her hand over her heart, feeling it beat again for the first time in forever.
"How do you feel?"
Summer opened her eyes. "Hopeful."
Meanwhile, with Junko…
"Hmm…" Junko, her outfit consisting of a phazonic blue sleeveless dress with Monokuma painted on her chest, looked over at the red sky when she heard a door crash. "Hmm?"
"I don't know who the hell you are…"
Junko turned around to see Grimm Ruby in front of her. She simply raised an eyebrow in amusement. "Ruby, you look more gothic than usual."
"I'm her doppelganger, bitch! And I hate that you brought her to despair… ONLY I CAN DO THAT!"
"Oh please, like you can do anything to me."
Grimm Ruby snarled. "DIIIIIIIE!" She yelled as she lunged at her, but Junko casually blocked it with her hand, using her Phazon to melt the scythe easily and grabbed her by the head.
"How about no?" She smiled as she converted Grimm Ruby to Phazon as she screamed before melting into nothing. "...Sheesh, talk about pathetic. Imagine having her dragging out a fight for a year. That's just sad."
"Ooooh, looks like Dark Ruby died by Phazon again! First time~?"
Back at Bowser's Castle…
Bowser looked to Sonia as everyone was wearing their Phazon Armor. "I know you've replaced my general ever since General Guy was taken away… so I was hoping you could come up with a plan."
Sonia smirked. "Oh, don't worry, big guy. I've been cooking up a plan for a while now." She brought out a massive whiteboard. "Okay, so we basically make a long journey to Toad Town. I say long because chances are, Monokumas are going to be everywhere in the Phazon waiting to ambush us."
"Yeah, that sounds about right."
"However, with the amount of strength we have, we should be able to go into the Future Foundation and overthrow Junko. We take her out, the Phazon evaporates and then… peace. However, this is easier said than done."
"I was afraid of that."
"We only have one shot at this. We screw anything up, and we're looking at everyone getting captured and either falling into despair or getting killed. And since we Ultimates are immune to despair, there's a high chance we'll end up dying."
"Hmm… it's a suicide mission."
"Pretty much."
Bowser snarled. "Well, what choice do we have? We either play the long game and everyone suffers, or we tear the bandaid off and rescue everyone."
"Right." Sonia nodded. "It's your call, big guy."
BGM: We're The Desperate Measures (Halo 3 ODST) (Start at 3:57)
"ALRIGHT, LISTEN UP!" Bowser roared, getting everyone's attention. "We have what we need to brave the Phazon and storm into Future Foundation, claw our way through to the top and destroy that she-demon once and for all! We only have one shot at this! Screw anything up and you're a goner! We are going to bring back hope to this world and I'm going to make SURE we are going to save everyone from this Phazon!"
"No." A voice said as they turned to see Kyoko approaching them. "We're going to save them. All of us."
"Kiri!" Aoi smiled happily.
"You heard the man! We got a shot!" Sora said.
Samus cocked her arm cannon. "We've always had a shot. We just needed the motivation."
"Minions, whatever is left of you, make sure you keep Isabelle company!" Bowser ordered. "And make sure my son-"
"I'm going with you, papa!" Junior said with determination. "I wanna save this world too!"
Bowser said nothing but smirked. "Alright, that's my boy. But stay close to Peach, okay?"
"You got it!" Junior nodded as Peach smiled.
Ironwood looked at the whiteboard and then clenched his fists. "I need to go to Atlas."
"What for?" Sonia asked.
"I have something in there that could help us out. I need an airship."
Bowser thought about it. "Alright, go there… but be subtle about it. We don't need to raise suspicion."
Ironwood smirked. "I recall Marnie installing a cloaking device in a few of them. I'll be fine. I will need a team to go with, just in case."
"We'll go with you." Link said as he, Ganondorf, Cloud and Sephiroth went with Ironwood, hopping into an airship and flew off, activating the cloaking device.
"Let's move out! We've no time to lose!" Bowser said.
"Aw yeah! Let's kick some Monobutt!" Akane cracked her knuckles.
"Let's go, Thieves!" Akira said as they went into their Persona attire.
Marnie gently took Gloria's hand, smiling at her. "We'll get this done."
"I sure hope we do… I'm… not sure if we'll survive this, admittedly…"
Marnie caressed her cheek. "Hey, you're talking to someone in the Koopa Troop. We'll win this… I know we will."
"Yeah… I hope so." She said as Marnie leaned in to give her a reassuring kiss as Gloria returned in, then Marnie pulled away.
"Let's rock."
"Summer, you look different." Rosalina said.
"Let's just say… I'm filled with hope." She smiled.
The gates opened. "Good luck!" A Koopatrool saluted as everyone ran off. Ibuki looked back at Doom Guy.
"She'll rip and tear everyone for you, big guy." She said and walked off while Isabelle waved goodbye to them.
As soon as they crossed Solana Town, they would see Monokumas wading in the Phazon pools and spotted them. "There they are!" Samus said.
Hajime immediately transformed into Izuru. "These Monobots will DIE!" He yelled as he jumped into the air and slammed into the ground, punching the Monokuma bot's heads off as Sonia shot down a few and Bowser breathed fire to melt some others.

Meanwhile…
The airship landed on the ground at Atlas, all of them hopping off as they quickly went into the Atlas Academy. They went deeper into the academy before they found what they were looking for.
"There it is…" Ironwood said as he walked toward it.
The alarm started blaring as they turned to see several Monokumas approaching them. Among them were Bomber Monokumas and Beast Monokumas.
"You go on ahead, we'll hold them off!" Cloud said as Ironwood nodded as they readied their weapons. "Never thought I'd die side by side with you."
"Hmph. Bold of you to think I'll die easily to these things." Sephiroth said.
"Just don't get in my way." Cloud readied himself as Link got in a stance while Ganondorf cracked his knuckles.
"These robots are meaningless." Ganondorf said as the four lunged at the robots.
With Junko…
A Monokuma waddled into Junko's room, and then opened up and spat Sarge out. "Ah, Sarge… nice of you to join us." Junko said.
"Rrrrrgh…" Sarge growled.
Junko smiled. "I know I can figure out a way to bring you into the warm embrace of despair… in fact, I know I can make you despair easily."
"Try me!"
"I killed Grif! I know exactly how much you wanted to kill him. Doesn't that make you wanna… despair?" She grinned as Sarge said nothing. "Well~?"
"Lady… you can torture me. You can beat me up. You can kill my men. You can destroy my shotgun. You can kill Grif… hell, you can torture him for all I care! But what you will never do… IS BREAK MY AMERICAN SPIRIT!" He yelled as he pulled back his fist and slugged her in the face.
"Nnnngh! What?! How dare you! You're supposed to be despairing! I am the Ultimate Phazon Queen of Despair!"
"And i'm the president of the United States, so I guess we're both disappointments!"
"You're the president of nothing!"
"At least I'm the president of something, what's your excuse?"
Junko snarled. "You ungrateful little-"
A Monokuma bot ran in. "Junko! We got trouble!"
"Yeah, obviously!"
"No, we got a ragtag group of rebels heading straight for Future Foundation, led by the Koopa King!"

Junko aimed her hand, shooting Phazon into him to knock him down. "Bring me my surprise. I want to toy with them."
In Toad Town…
Bowser punched his way through some Guard Monokumas easily. "Glad we took the shortcut!"
"Even so, we need to be on guard. There's no telling what will come next." Kyoko said as she stared at the Future Foundation building up ahead. "We're close though."
Ibuki's ears twitched as she looked up. "Above us!" She exclaimed as blue fire shot down at them, forcing them all to step back as someone emerged from the blue flames. Red cap with an M logo on top, red shirt and blue overalls, Phazonic veins all over him… and top of that, his eyes were filled with a despairing black and white color.
"Ma-Mario…" Peach whispered in horror.
"So he succumbed to it…" Bowser said quietly.
"Mario… no…" Futaba whispered.
"Is there a way to knock him out of it?" Bowser asked.
"Unfortunately, there are two options. One, put him into rehabilitation or two… death." Nagito said.
"And unfortunately, we have no way to rehabilitate." Bowser clenched his fists. "I'll do it." He said as he approached the plumber.
Peko shifted her eyes. "We got company." She said as they turned to see despairing Toads and Koopas around them.
"Well, this is a sad state of affairs for everyone…" Yusuke said.
"Tell me about it." Makoto nodded.
BGM: Organization XIII (Kingdom Hearts II)
"So here we are, plumber. Just like old times when you and I would fight to the death for Peach. Then your brother joined in, and so did RWBY."
"It's time we finished this… and this time… I will finish what I have started long ago." Mario said. "And then I will take Peach for myself and join me in the despair."
"So let's settle this once and for all." Bowser flashed his claws, but he also frowned. Any other day, he'd be happy to clobber him… but this time, he wasn't too happy about it.

BGM: Adventure's End (Mario and Luigi: Dream Team)
Despair-Tempered Hero - Despair Mario
Bowser and Mario both charged at each other, the latter jumping into the air and Phazon punching Bowser, but he blocked with his arms and then delivered a strong punch to his gut, sending him into a building.
Mario came back out, blue fire surging through him as he threw fireballs as Bowser breathed fire to cancel the fireballs out as Mario did a few front flips and hammered Bowser, but he went into his shell and used Whirling Fortress to knock the despairing plumber away.
Bowser got back up as he ran toward Mario. He quickly raised his arms up and threw down a Phazonic Thundaga, but he rolled out of the way as Mario disappeared into the Phazon, and then reemerged behind Bowser, grabbing him by the tail.
Bowser was spun around and thrown into Toad Town's fountain as Bowser got back up, shaking it off as he growled, spotting a ? Block nearby as he hit it and a Fire Flower popped out. He grabbed a hold of it and closed his eyes.
"For old time's sake." He said, absorbing it as fire decals surrounded his spike bracelets and choker as he breathed fire, this time his fire being a light blue as Mario attempted to counter it with his own flames, but Bowser's fire breath overpowered Mario as he swiftly jumped to the side and leapt up into the air to hammer Bowser, but Bowser's fist turned into blue flames and slugged Mario into the gut to knock him high into the air.
Bowser then launched up in the air and then body slammed into Mario, slamming into the phazon before he grabbed him by the collar and slammed him into the ground, putting his foot on his stomach and then breathed fire into him as Mario cried out in agony as he tried to fight back… until his screams were silenced as he was nothing but ashes by the time Bowser was done.

Bowser said nothing, but he raised his arm up in victory, closing his eyes. "Rest in peace, Mario…" He said quietly as a tear ran down his cheek as Peach walked over to Mario's ashes. She closed her eyes as tears ran down her cheeks.
"We have to be strong… for him." Bowser said.
"Yes…" Peach sniffed, wiping her tears. "For Mario." She nodded.
"It's unfortunate we had to strike them down… forgive us." Peko said. "But their suffering is no more."
"Let's move." Sonia said as they went further into Toad Town, taking out any Monokuma bot or despair induced civilian in their path.
The moment they reached Future Foundation… they were quickly ambushed by Junk Monokumas, Destroyer Monokumas, Bomber Monokumas and Beast Monokumas.
"There's too many of them!" Gloria exclaimed as the Beast Monokumas leapt into the air to tackle them, only for a large mech to punch them to knock them away. They all turned to see a Paladin in front of them.
BGM: Hero (RWBY) (Start at 0:59)
"Go! I got you covered!" Ironwood said from within as they went into the building with Sephiroth, Cloud, Ganondorf and Link joining them in the building as the army surrounded him. Ironwood let out a growl, glaring at them angrily.
"This is for Esdeath, YOU BASTARDS!" He yelled as he pushed a lever forward as the Paladin ran and backhanded several Monokumas away. A Ball Monokuma rolled straight into him to try and trip him up, but Ironwood kicked him away while a few Bomber Monokumas threw several grenades, exploding on impact.
Ironwood grunted, grabbing a Bomber Monokuma and throwing him into some Junk Monokumas, where he exploded and took out the Junkers when suddenly a mech punched Ironwood's Paladin away.
"Rrrgh!" He grunted as he turned around as he would see a Monokuma Paladin. "You decorated those Paladins… you'll regret that!" He said as he lunged ahead, punching the Paladin as the Monokuma Paladin responded back by slugging him into the building as Bomber Monokumas threw bombs at him, severely damaging the Paladin.
Ironwood got back up, letting out a war cry as he pressed a button as the arm aimed and fired charged blaster attacks to knock the Monokuma Paladin down as he turned around and swung his arm to backhand the other Monokumas… and then the Monokuma Paladin came up from behind him and impaled the Paladin with a massive fiery sword.
"Rrrgh!" Ironwood grunted as the Paladin pulled the sword out, but Ironwood turned around and grabbed the sword, yanking it off of him. "RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!" He yelled, swinging it down and slashed through the Monokuma Paladin until it was in pieces, where it exploded in front of him.
The Paladin turned around… only for it fall on its knees as Ironwood coughed out blood, seeing several Monokumas climbing on top of him. He growled as he tried to get them off of him.
Ironwood pulled out his blaster, his strength fading fast as he aimed at the controls as the Monokuma bots attempted to break the glass. "If I'm going down…" He smirked. "Esdeath, if you're still alive out there somewhere… I hope you'll smile for me." He said, firing his gun at the controls as the Paladin lit up… and exploded, taking out all the Monokumas that were with him in the process.

Inside the tower, everyone was near the top floor as Samus Shinesparked into a few Monokuma guards and then Akane punched through a Monokuma, tearing him apart as she then kicked open the door as everyone stormed in… only to see an empty room.
"Where's Junko?" Summer wondered as they looked around, and then a monitor appeared in front of them.
"Heya kiddos! Upupupupu~ I heard all about your little rebellion and how you were gonna storm into the tower, so I thought I'd do an exit, stage left while a surprise waited for you."
"Mario…" Akira said.
"Nope~! Sure, Mario was a nice surprise, but he wasn't my surprise. I got a good one for you~ I'm not actually in the Future Foundation building anymore. I'm sitting cozy in a throne room, drinking tea… all of that fun stuff. …It's a little too pink for my tastes though."
"You're in my castle?!" Peach exclaimed.
"Oh Peach, you gotta do better than pink, girlfriend!" Junko chuckled. "But anywho, that's not my surprise. You see… I wasn't the only one who came back from the dead. I brought someone with me!"
"Who'd you bring with you?" Ibuki asked.
"Ooooh, someone familiar… let's have a touching reunion, shall we? Ooooh, gamer girl~!"
Immediately, Chiaki dropped from the ceiling, covered in Phazon as she had the face of despair as well.

Ultimate Gamer of Despair - Despair Chiaki
"Ch-Chiaki?!" Mahiru exclaimed in surprise.
"No way… no fucking way…" Hiyoko said in shock.
"Audible gasp!" Caboose said.
"You never came for me…" Chiaki said, her voice in despair.
"Wh-what? No! That's not true! We came to look for you… we tried to!" Sonia said.
"YOU DIDN'T TRY HARD ENOUGH!" She screamed. "I called for you… you never came looking for me… Junko told me everything… you were watching me in a room and you couldn't do anything. You just watched me die… and to think… I thought the world of you…" She said with tears streaming down her cheeks.
"Chiaki-chan…" A tear ran down Ibuki's cheek. "Junko, you BITCH."
"Upupupupu~ What are you gonna do about it? Are you going to save her from despair or let her destroy you? Your choice is up to you! Oh… and just so it's only them…" Junko smirked, as something landed in front of them. "I took the liberty of creating Culex from scratch out of Phazon! I think he debuted in that one game… what was it… Legend of the Seven Stars, was it? I think that was when he made his first appearance. Eh, what do I know, I'm no gamer!"
Culex pushed everyone out of the way, including Kyoko and Aoi as it was just Chiaki and her fellow classmates.
"What do we do?!" Teruteru wondered. "We can't bring ourselves to kill her!"
"No. But we can save her." Nekomaru said. "Forgive us, Nanami… but this is for your own good."
Chiaki immediately summoned Soul Edge and the Hylian Shield with more tears running down her eyes as her classmates surrounded her with their weapons in hand. She immediately lunged at Peko and slashed at her, but Peko immediately blocked with her scabbard and countered by hitting her with the hilt of the blade to make her back up.
Chiaki shifted her eyes as Akane tried to put her into a hold as she swiftly attacked her, but Akane backflipped but then Nekomaru put her into a hold. She growled, tossing Soul Edge up in the air as she then summoned a Gravity Hammer and swung it into Nekomaru, knocking him into a wall.
"Chiaki! Wait!" Sonia called out to her as Chiaki strapped the Gravity Hammer to her back as she swung Soul Edge at Sonia but she blocked with rapier. "Chiaki, don't listen to Junko… we really tried to save you! We just didn't know where you were!"
"You LIE!" She screamed, parrying Sonia and slashed her, but Ibuki slid in and blocked with her guitar and pushed her away, strumming her guitar as electricity struck her but then used the Hylian Shield to block the electricity.
"Hold her steady!" Gundham ordered as his devas ran at her and started to hold her down by the ankles as he immediately started to create a transmutation circle as Mahiru and Hiyoko held her by the arms.
"RAAAAAAAH!" Chiaki moved her head to headbutt Mahiru.
"Gah!" Mahiru yelped, loosening her grip as Chiaki grabbed Hiyoko and threw her into the ground, unstrapping her Gravity Hammer as she tried to swing it down, but Mikan swooped it and blocked with her Ubersaw, the force was enough to knock her on her butt but it gave Hiyoko plenty of time to get away.
"Komaeda, tell me you have dust in that gun of yours!" Kazuichi said.
"I got plenty of lightning dust… the problem is, it's that shield of hers." Nagito aimed. "Still, it doesn't hurt to try." He said, pulling the trigger as the lightning dust struck Chiaki, but to his surprise, Chiaki powered through and turned to Nagito, switching to a Battle Rifle and shot at Nagito, but he quickly dove for cover, then Izuru grabbed her from behind.
"Rrrgh!" Chiaki snarled, elbowing him but he didn't let go.
"Get her weapons off of her, now!" Izuru ordered as Fuyuhiko took the Hylian Shield, Peko took Soul Edge, Sonia carefully took the Battle Rifle off of her as Nekomaru took the Gravity Hammer away.
"Something tells me she's got gamer powers… it's fitting for her!" Nagito said as Chiaki tried to pry herself free from him.
"It's complete. Stand back!" Gundham said as Izuru took a step back as he clapped his hands, as dark magic wrapped around Chiaki, which was enough to make her fall asleep.
Izuru said nothing, turning back into Hajime as he stared at her, tears swelling in his eyes.
"I have a feeling that universal reset brought her back…" Hiyoko mumbled as Hajime wiped his tears and picked up Chiaki, putting her on her back and wrapped her arms around her shoulders.
"Oh hi! You guys knocked her out!" Caboose said as they turned to see that the Phazon Culex was down.
"Yeeeeeeeeah, Caboose took care of him." Samus said. "And all he did was hug him."
"So what do we do with her?" Bowser asked.
"Protect her. She's been through so much these past few months… we need to figure out how to get the despair out of her." Hajime said.
"We'll find something. Not even I'm willing to kill her." Nagito said, when suddenly the place started to rumble.

"Ooops! I forgot to mention. You take out Chiaki, the whole place starts to collapse. It's a win-win in my book!" Junko said.
"We need to get out of here, now!" Kyoko exclaimed.
"Allow me!" Kamek said, teleporting them all to safety and away from the crumbling Future Foundation.
"...I hate to be that guy, but Chiaki doesn't have armor on her." Kazuichi said.
"She's got phazon on her. I'm sure she'll be fine." Samus said. "For now, we head to Peach's Castle."
"Wait, where's Ironwood?" Marnie asked.
"I'll give ye a few guesses…" Gloria said as they turned to the smoldering remains of the Paladin.
"Damn…" Cloud grumbled. "We lost another one…"
"We're gonna win… right papa…?" Junior asked.
"I'm making sure of it." Bowser reassured. "Let's go. That broad's waiting for us."
With a nod, they all ran toward Peach's Castle, all of them slaughtering Monokuma bots in the way, including a few despairing Shy Guys and Toads as they made their way to Peach's Castle.
BGM: Deep Castle (Mario and Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story plus Bowser Jr's Journey)
As soon as they made their way into the castle, they tore their way through any of the Monokuma bots as they moved their way into one room, finding Peach's bedroom a complete wreck.
"...This should be a good spot for Chiaki." Sonia said. "She'll be safe here."
"Right." Hajime nodded, gently putting her down on the bed as Kamek put up a force field around her.
"There. That way, no one can hurt her."
One by one, they walked out the door as Hajime was the last one to stay, looking at Chiaki as he clenched his fists. "We'll snap you out of it." He said as he walked out, going back into Izuru and charged ahead.
After tearing through the castle, they found themselves in the throne room where Junko was waiting for them. "Junko!" Aoi glared.
"Sup!" Junko smiled, filing her nails. "You guys made it."
"You! You are going to pay for everything that you've wrought upon this world!" Bowser declared.
"Nah, now why would I do that?" Junko asked. "Besides, I have the ultimate trump card, the ultimate ace!"
"And what is this ace?" Summer demanded to know, when suddenly the ground underneath them swirled around them, forming a tornado and blowing everyone away. "Nnnngh!" Summer grunted, shaking it off as the tornado disappeared, revealing to be Ruby.
BGM: Tension (Persona 5)
"Ruby!" Summer called out to her, but immediately noticed that she too, had despair in her eyes, complete with Phazon all over her. "No…"
"Oh yes~! Ruby was a tricky one to make her fall into despair." Junko said. "No matter what I did, I couldn't break her spirit. So, I decided to make her watch a video." She smiled. "The video in question was pretty much Weiss, Blake and Yang biting it in the most beautiful ways. Weiss burning alive, Blake getting trapped in a room with a spike ceiling, Yang getting hog tied and getting slashed to death by Monokumas… but why stop there?"
"What did you do…"
"Oh, I made her witness the rest of her family dying. Qrow being force fed alcohol until he died of alcohol poisoning, her grandfather getting every bone in his body shattered, Tai being stuck in a torture chamber and succumbed to it-"
Rosalina's eyes widened. "Tai…?" She teared up. "No…"
"It's too bad Raven got away… I would've loved to see her die in Ruby's face." Junko shrugged. "Ah well… at least I know she died later on."
"How do you know that she died?" Summer glared.
"Funny thing about Maidens, they tend to give their power to the last lady they're thinking of." Junko said as Summer would see aura shooting out of the corners of Ruby's eyes.
"Summer… they… they have… Ru… by…"
Summer gasped. "She's-"
"The Spring Maiden!" Junko smirked. "Oh, how I would love to see her fight you toe to toe! You're the only family she has left!"
Summer said nothing but she took out her daggers. "I've noticed you left out Zwei."
"Zwei? Oh right, the dog! I showed her a video of her dog getting euthanized. Same thing with her Pokemon. Heh, that was enough to finally break her!"
Ruby said nothing, but her lower lip trembled as tears ran down her cheeks. She pulled out Crescent Rose and stared at her mother.
Summer got in her battle stance. "Don't worry sweetie… I'll get you out of this!"

Spring Maiden of Despair - Despair Ruby
Ruby lunged at Summer, slashing her, but she swiftly blocked with her daggers and countered, slashing at her to knock her back. Ruby swung Crescent Rose down but Summer rolled out of the way.
Ruby snapped her fingers as a lightning bolt came down and struck Summer. "Rrrgh!" She grunted while wincing as Ruby slashed her away to knock her back. "Alright…" Summer clapped her hands while closing her eyes as Ruby unleashed Phazonic lasers at her… right as Summer started to glisten as the lasers bounced off of her and struck Ruby.
My Reflection semblance should buy me some time against projectiles… Summer immediately charged at Ruby, determination on her face as the two clashed against each other, the two of them slashing as Summer could see the despair in her eyes up close.
"Ruby, listen to me! She's using you to-"
"Shut up!" Ruby slugged her, but Summer weaved her head as she quickly kicked her away as Ruby used her semblance to get behind her mother and swung Crescent Rose down, but Summer turned around and blocked with her daggers as aura shot out of her eyes as Summer looked down to see electricity about to shoot up from the ground.
Summer broke free as she avoided an electrical explosion as Ruby converted Crescent Rose to ice as she swiftly slashed at her but Summer backflipped gracefully. However, Ruby put up an electrical explosion right where Summer landed. "Gah!" She yelped as Ruby used her semblance to get closer to her and slashed her to a wall. "Mmmph!"
Summer shook it off and looked at Ruby. "Honey! Please… snap out of it!"
"Why… why should I… the despair… it feels so good… I… it makes me want to have everything back but I can't, which makes me despair even more!" Ruby sobbed as she raised her hand up as an ice pillar punched Summer into the air as Ruby jumped up and slashed Summer down, sending her crashing to the ground… or at least she would have if Summer didn't go into her ghost mode as she disappeared into the ground.
Summer emerged from behind Ruby, going back into her human mode as Ruby turned her head, throwing electricity at Summer but she activated her semblance again as it reflected back into Ruby as she screamed as Summer lunged and wrapped her arms around Ruby.
"It's okay… it's okay… I'm here no-" Ruby knee'd her in the gut and slashed her away, but Summer barely blocked in time. Worth a shot! She grimaced as Ruby sweep kicked her to knock her on her back and swung down, but a cosmic aura surrounded the scythe before it could impale Summer as Ruby looked up, only to see a cosmic fire hitting her to knock her away.
Rosalina immediately helped Summer up. "You look like you need help."
"Right… shall we?"
"Yes." Rosalina turned around and aimed her wand at Ruby as she charged at the two, slashing them with despair-ridden ferocity, but Rosalina put up force fields around them as Ruby kept attacking them, and then a Psybeam struck Ruby as the women turned to see Gloria in her Latias form.
"Snap out of it, lass. Please!"
"If I can't despair, THEN I'LL KILL ALL OF YOU!" Ruby screamed, going into her Zinogre form and lunging, but Gloria used Psychic to hold her in place as Rosalina clapped her hands together, chanting a spell as an aura surrounded Ruby, then she fell limp as Gloria deactivated Psychic.

"Is she…?" Gloria wondered.
"Asleep." Rosalina said. "I'll wake her when this despair nightmare is over." She said as Summer instinctively cradled her daughter, looking at her sad sleepy face.
"Oh honey…" A tear escaped Summer's eye and held her.
Marnie and Neo quickly got to them once Ruby was knocked out. "Poor girl…" Marnie whispered as Neo nodded, slowly rubbing Ruby's head.
"BWAHAHAHAHAHA!" Bowser laughed. "You're out of options, girl! And let me tell you, you're nothing but a coward! Sitting behind your Phazon and letting people do your dirty work. It's pathetic!"
"Oh, you think i'm cowardly, eh?" Junko smirked. "I have another ace up my sleeve! You see… Raven wasn't the only Maiden who died. I believe Cinder was with her!"
"So, you have another Fall Maiden? Who is it?" Joker demanded to know.
Junko chuckled, closing her eyes. "The Fall Maiden…"
BGM: Dismiss (Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep)
She opened her eyes, aura flashing out of the corners of her eyes. "IS ME!"
"ARE YOU FOR EFFING REAL?!" Skull yelled as Junko rose up from the ground, levitating as the Fall Maiden powers wrapped around her.
"That's right! I am the Fall Maiden of Despair!" Junko declared, hovering behind a glass mural, completely unaware of a shadow growing every so quickly behind her. "Cower before me! Tremble before my might! For I, Junko Enoshima, queen of despair, queen of the Phazon AND the Fall Maiden of Despair… will destroy all of you!"
She grinned. "I hope you enjoy your last breaths of life, because I will suck the life out of you and-"

A motorcycle crashed through the glass mural. "HIYAAAAAAAAAAAAH!"
Junko turned around. "HUUUUH?!" She yelled as the motorcycle slammed into her. "AGH!" She cried as the motorcycle landed on the ground and screeched to a halt before it could slam into everyone.
"What the heck?!" Sora exclaimed in surprise. "Who would-"
The motorcyclist and her ride took off their helmets, revealing to be Komaru and Toko. "Yo!" Komaru waved.
Kyoko chuckled. "Nice timing."
"Ah, it was nothing." Komaru waved it off while Toko got on the ground.
"Oh sweet ground! I could kiss you after her horrid driving!" Toko exclaimed.
"Oh come on, I'm not that bad of a driver!"
"You drove out of an airship!"
"Uuuungh…" Junko shook it off. "What in the he-... airship?" She turned her head to see an airship outside with "Galactic Federation" on it, and then the ship turned… before an escape pod shot out and went straight through the hole in the wall before slamming into the ground… and then the hatch to the escape pod was kicked out.
"JUNKO ENOSHIMA!"
"That voi-... OH SHIT!" Junko yelped as Mukuro walked out, clutching her shotgun.
"You have some nerve…"
"But… how… where…?" Junko wondered.
"Oh, when you attacked everyone several months earlier, we tried contacting anyone through space from the Blue Typhoon to try and reach out to anyone who could help out." Komaru said. "We had contact from Norion, so Tails let us borrow the X-Tornado and we hightailed it out of there."
"We would've been here earlier… but Koko had to stop to ask for directions every half a lightyear…" Toko mumbled.
"Hey! Not my fault Star Wars makes it look easy!" Komaru mumbled. "Not to mention we kept getting hungry… luckily there are plenty of restaurants in space!"
"If I ate another space burger as Spacedonalds or Astroidies or… hell, a chicken burger at Cosmic-Fil-A, I was gonna scream." Toko grumbled.
"Hey, at least Astroidies has those cosmic ice cream chocolate shakes that you can dip your fries in! Everyone does that!"
"No, they don't!"
"Anyway, we eventually made it to Norion, made contact with Mukuro, and we hijacked a Galactic Federation ship and made our way back here! …I thought warp speed was only a thing in the movies, but apparently not." Komaru sheepishly said.
"Oi…" Toko groaned.
"Wait! We lost a lot of people because you kept asking for directions?!" Bowser asked in disbelief.
"Hey, everything in space looks the same… I swear we were going around in circles at one point…" Komaru mumbled.
"You were! You were sleeping at the controls! It's amazing we didn't run out of fuel!"
"At least there was a gas station nearby!"
Bowser's eye twitched. "For the love of-"
"ENOUGH!" Junko yelled. "I don't care what you do, all of you aren't going to stop me!"
"After what we discussed… you killed me for the sheer hell of it…" Mukuro growled. "I'm going to enjoy this!"
Komaru brought out her Hacking Megaphone Gun. "Glad I have a spare after I gave one to Kyoko." She said as Toko brought out her stun gun and zapped herself.
"KYAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! OH, I'M GONNA ENJOY KICKING YOUR ASS!" Genocide Jill cackled while Mukuro pumped her shotgun.
"Monokumas! Deal with these imbeciles!" She called out as several Monokuma bots broke free as she then summoned a fire wall to block everyone from intervening… however Bowser jumped through with a draconic roar.
"You are going to pay for all you've done!"
"Who the hell do you think you are?!"
"I'M THE KING OF THE KOOPAS, BABY! THE HOPE OF AWESOOOOOOOME!" He roared before smirking. "After what Kyoko and Hina told me during the Blorb crisis, I'm going to thoroughly enjoy this!"
Junko smirked wickedly. "Bring. It. ON."
"SHOWTIME!"

The Fall Maiden of Despair - Junko Enoshima
Junko activated her Maiden powers and swiftly launched a stream of fire at Bowser but he breathed fire to counter it as Komaru and Genocider quickly flanked Junko on both sides as Komaru aimed and fired Break bullets at her while Genocider lunged, slashing at her with her scissors.
Junko quickly backflipped to avoid getting snipped by Jill as she threw fireballs at her, but she rolled out of the way as Komaru switched to Paralyze and shot her, stopping her at the spot as she grunted, then Mukuro took the time to shoot at her. "Mmmph!" She grunted, smirking at Mukuro and throwing fireballs at her, forcing her to jump to the side, pulling out two pistols and shot her.
Bowser went into his shell and rolled toward her, slamming into Junko as he jumped up into the air and body slammed into her, then punched her away as Junko quickly recovered and smirked, raising her hand up in the air as a Phazon wall blocked Komaru and Mukuro's shots as Junko had sneakily sunk into the ground and reappeared behind Mukuro.
Mukuro shifted her eyes and swiftly sweep kicked, but Junko jumped up and threw a fireball into Mukuro, knocking her away as she turned to the side, only for Genocider to slash through her and cut through her dress.
"Mmph!" Junko grunted, grabbing Jill by the ponytail with a snarl, only for Bowser to drop kick her and breathed fire as Junko stepped out of the way and aimed her hand to launch fire, only for Mukuro to shoot her in the hand. "Agh!" She grunted as Komaru switched to the Fire bullet and proceeded to shoot her as Junko grunted and did the same to Komaru, only for Mukuro to kneecap her shortly after.
"AAAARGH!" Junko cried out as Bowser jumped in and punched her in the face repeatedly before slamming her into the ground. Junko immediately wrapped herself in Maiden power as she tried to unleash fiery tornadoes filled with Phazon, but they avoided them easily as Junko glared at Komaru and launched herself to her.
"Knockback!" Komaru shot her, making Junko slam into a wall as Bowser jumped in, and threw her to the ground as Junko tried to throw Phazon at Bowser, but he avoided it as Jill quickly slashed at Junko several times before throwing several scissors up into the air.
"Rain, rain falling rain~ FALL! FALL! KYAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!" She jumped back as it rained scissors all over Junko as she screamed in agony as she fell on both knees, then Bowser ran over and grabbed her by the shoulders.
"This is for Ruby!"
POW!
"This is for Mario!"
POW!
"This is for EVERYONE you slaughtered!"
POW!
He let go of Junko as he took a step back. "And this one…" He cracked his knuckles as he reared back a punch. "...Is for hope… TO COME BACK TO THIS WORLD!"
POOOOOOW!
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAGH!" Junko cried as she fell on her back in defeat.
End BGM
Junko groaned, staring up at the ceiling. "No… no… I should've been… invincible…" She said as Mukuro walked over, towering over her. "S-Sis…?"
"...I have no sister." Mukuro aimed her pistol at her head and shot her in the head to finish her off, which, in turn, caused the Fall Maiden powers to transfer over to Mukuro. "What…?" She wondered as fire conjured in her hand. "...Hmm… I could get used to this."
Suddenly, phazon hands shot out of the ground and wrapped around Junko's corpse. "FINALLY, NOW I CAN HAVE SOME FUN WITH YOU AFTER ALL THIS TIME! YOU DARE USE MY PHAZON FOR YOUR WICKED WAYS? I WILL MAKE SURE TO TORTURE YOU IN HELL!"
"...Was that Dark Samus?" Marnie wondered as Neo shrugged, and then phazon started to sizzle away from everything as the red clouds parted, the sun shining through the window and striking Ruby, where in another room, the sun shined down on Chiaki.
The Monokuma robots all deactivated shortly after, falling lifelessly to the ground… while Samus and the Phantom Thieves shot at them for good measure.
"...Okay, I'm pretty sure they're ultra dead." Skull said.
"Here's hoping~!" Noir smiled.
Bowser stomped on the ground, raising his arm in victory and roared loudly in triumph.
A few hours later…
"Hey! We have more prisoners over here!" Gloria called out as everyone pitched in to help everyone out.
Kyoko sat on some rubble, looking at the sky with a soft sigh. "Hey Kyoko!" Aoi called to her as Kyoko turned her head, and gasped, seeing Makoto Naegi in front of her.
"Ma-Makoto!"
Aoi grinned as Makoto limped over to Kyoko before the two embraced happily, where Kyoko instinctively kissed him. He froze in surprise before returning the favor. Aoi giggled. "I knew it~"
"Okay, status report on the huntsmen and huntresses." Kamek said.
"We lost a good majority of them. The only ones left are Pyrrha, Coco, Fox, Velvet, Akame, Chelsea, Cardin and…" A Lakitu turned to Ruby. "Ruby."
Kamek sighed. "And the professors?"
"Miraculously, Ozpin survived, along with Oobleck and Port. However, Glynda perished in her own despair."
"How are the despair victims holding up?"
With Chiaki…
Chiaki, now back to normal, was in a fetal position with tears running down her cheeks. Ibuki sat down next to her and rubbed her back with the rest of her classmates all with her to comfort her.
"Chiaki… she hasn't said a word since she snapped out of it. Though, I can tell she's grateful that she's out of her despair."
With Ruby…
Ruby sobbed uncontrollably in Summer's chest, the latter rubbing her back gently with Rosalina and Gloria also by her side. Byleth had immediately walked over to check on her, with Dorothea and Bereto as well, all three of them looked heavily disheveled but were more focused on Ruby.
"Ruby's a total wreck. We had hoped that Junko was just messing with her and Weiss, Blake and Yang were safe and sound… Unfortunately, we found their bodies. Same with the rest of her family. We've seen Byleth, her brother and girlfriend are already by her side."
"Honestly, the way Byleth acts around Ruby, it's like she acts like an older sister to her. On the plus side, she's the Spring Maiden."
Back with Kamek and Lakitu…
"As for the rest of the despair victims, they're responsive but they're in need of some space. Especially her." Lakitu pointed toward the wreckage as Esdeath was unable to keep it together and cried over her father, Sephiroth putting a comforting hand on her shoulder. "Luigi and Daisy are responsive, though Luigi will need some time since Mario was killed."
Kamek sighed. "Well… we're gonna have to do a lot of rebuilding, but it is what it is."
"Indeed, and I believe Lord Bowser will take that front." He said, where an Ultra Wormhole opened up as Umber came flying out in Nebby, and was joined by Kirby, Dedede, Meta Knight, JINXY, Cynthia, Palutena, Viridi, Hades, the Pits, Banjo and Kazooie, and Shantae.
"Ruby!" Pit called out to her as he ran toward her.
"Pit…? Pit!" Ruby got up and hugged her, sobbing even harder into his shoulder.
"Guess we'll have more more leeway." Lakitu said.
"Yeehaw! I told you that you can't break this American Spirit!" Sarge exclaimed.
"Sarge, not now!" Simmons scolded.
"What! Can't I celebrate that the she-devil is gone for good?"

Several months later, with Ruby…
Ruby was on the roof at her home, playing around with her Spring Maiden powers. "Hey… you alright?" Summer asked,
"It's… been a rough few months… I'm not sure if therapy will ever get me back to where I am… honestly, I think Chiaki's been hit harder."
"Yeah…" Summer nodded, gently kissing her on the head.
"I'm… honestly surprised you'd come back alive just to save me. I thought you didn't want to come back from the dead."
"Desperate times, sweetie… what kind of mother would I be if I left you in this state? Yeah, you're the spring maiden, but… honestly, you need all the comfort and loves." She wrapped her arms around her.
"Yeah…" Ruby sniffed. "I'm glad… the storm is over."
"Me too." Summer said. "We'll make due…"
Ruby nodded. "Yeah."
"Now come on, your other mom made brownies." She said, kissing her on the cheek as she looked over to see another home near them. "Heh… I still find it amusing that Gloria, Marnie and Neo wanted to be close to you." She chuckled as she hopped down. "You coming?"
"Yeah." Ruby nodded as she hopped down, forming a sad smile as she walked in with Summer.
"Hey you two! The brownies have just finished cooling!" Rosalina said to them with a happy go lucky smile.
With Chiaki…
"Hey… we made your favorite." Sonia said, handing her a plate of Pac-Man cookies.
Chiaki said nothing, but she happily took the cookies.
"Traumatized to the point where she stopped talking entirely… Ibuki still can't believe it." Ibuki sighed.
"It is what it is." Hiyoko mumbled.
Chiaki pulled out a device, typing in some keys. "I can still communicate with you through this, ya know."
"I know… we just miss your original voice." Kazuichi said. "Buuuuut we'll make do. We always do."
Hajime knelt down next to her. "Hey… you wanna play some Smash together? I've been getting better."
Chiaki softly smiled, typing something in. "I'd love to. I'm still gonna kick your butt."
"You're on."

Near Peach's Castle…
Peach sighed, staring at the gravestone in front of her.
"Here lies Super Mario - Greatest hero of the Mushroom Kingdom"
"Hey." Bowser walked over to her. "You feeling okay?"
"I'm… slowly getting there…" Peach said. "I'm still… trying to accept the fact that he's dead."
Bowser sighed. "Peach, I'm going to be straight with you." He turned to the sky above them. "I regret killing Mario in the way he was… when I first started battling that plu- hero, over and over again, my life eventually became centered not just around you… but him. I wanted the battle where I could finally beat him to be ANYTHING but the situation I found myself stuck in."
"Bowser…"
"Now that I have finally beat him… I… I'm not sure what exactly it is I have to look forward to now aside from my kingdom helping the world recover." He looked at Peach with a determined look. "But I'd like to somehow change that."
Peach raised an eyebrow. "What do you mean?"
"Mario was not only my rival and nemesis, but the number one love of your life… and there will NEVER be anyone who can fill the void that him having to be dealt with left in your heart, and don't deny there isn't one."
Peach recoiled in surprise before clutching her heart. "I won't deny it, when that was the only way to get Mario to stop suffering… I just wish we hadn't met him like that before we tried to stop Junko."
"I agree." Bowser mumbled. "Nothing can fill the void that Mario's death took with him. It's still being felt around the kingdoms. But I'm gonna try to patch things up, one way or another."
He suddenly pulled out a bouquet of Piranha Plants, getting on one knee. "Princess Peach Toadstool, it should've been Mario that asked you this… but would you make me the happiest schmuck in this world and all others, and permit me to try and fill that void in your heart with what my love can give to you… by taking my hand in marriage?"
Peach put her hands over her mouth in shock before smiling, a slight blush on her face. To say that she was touched by this was an understatement. "...I will." She said, hugging the Koopa King as he returned the favor, the two of them embracing.
"Well, for those who wanted a Bowser x Peach ending in Super Mario Odyssey, I hope this satisfies you! Anyway, until next time, Hades out!"

And yes, the latter also suggested to me that Bowser propose to Peach and at first, I was against it but he wrote the scene and I'm like "...Darn it! You made it cute! Alright, as I'm a sucker for cute things, I'll add it in."
