But… let's put that in the oven for now until I feel like bringing someone from the main universe into a different universe. …Or vice versa!"
Hades looked through the universes once more. "Let's see… now that Sapphire has calmed down and created a new timeline to give even the die hard Zelda fans a headache… let's see what we can find here…"
Hades stopped at one universe. "Ooooh, now here's a good one!"
He turned to the screen with a smirk. "Soooo, we know how it all started. Ozpin calls RWBY to his office and they go to the Mushroom Kingdom and it all goes downhill from there. Hahahahaha! But let's say that RWBY… aren't the main characters in this universe. Who would go and take their place? Weeeeeeell…"
Inside the universe…
"I want you four to go to the Mushroom Kingdom and investigate why there have been Grimm sightings over there." Ozpin said.

What If… Team JNPR Went To the Mushroom Kingdom First?
"Think of it this way! Ruby won't have to deal with any problems by not going at all!"
"Just one question, Professor." Jaune spoke up. "Why us? Why not have team RWBY go instead?"
"Those four are busy with school work, and quite frankly, I don't think Ms. Schnee would allow them to slack on their studies."
"Ooooh, so in the main universe, Weiss is lazy! That's good to know! I'll just let my pal Hades know about this revelation…"
"He's got a point. Weiss has been cracking that whip lately." Ren said.
"I sure hope they're okay…" Pyrrha said.
"Aaah, they'll be fine. We'll be in and out in no time!" Nora grinned.
"Good point." Jaune nodded. "Let's go."
The team walked over to a Bullhead, all of them boarding as it proceeded to fly off to the Mushroom Kingdom.
"Soooo, you think the Mushroom Kingdom is just a land of mushrooms?" Nora wondered.
"Probably not. It's probably just a weird name." Jaune said. "If anything, I'm sure the people there just like eating mushrooms!"
Once there…
BGM: Toad Town (Mario and Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story plus Bowser Jr's Journey)
"Ooooor…" Jaune looked at the various mushroom-shaped houses. "Maybe not!"
"Geez, I've heard of "you are what you eat", but this is ridiculous!" Nora joked as they walked around town.
"It feels so… deserted." Ren said.
"Hello! Anyone here?" Pyrrha asked.
"Hellooooooooo!" Jaune called out.
"You think there's such a thing as ghost mushrooms? Because it's a ghost town." Nora said as she heard some growling nearby. She turned her head and saw a Beowolf approach. "We got company!"
"I was hoping we wouldn't have had company…" Jaune mumbled as they readied their weapons, finding themselves surrounded by Grimm as the four of them looked at each other and nodded.

BGM: Working Together (Kingdom Hearts 2.5 HD ReMix)
The Grimm charged at them as Nora immediately swung her hammer into one, knocking it straight into another Beowolf as Jaune blocked an attack with his shield and countered, slicing it's arm off and then thrusted into its chest, kicking it down to finish it off.
Pyrrha pushed another Beowolf to the ground as Jaune went over and beheaded the Beowolf, high fiving Pyrrha while Ren sweep kicked a Grimm and then shot it in the face to finish it off.
"Hiyah!" Nora swung her hammer into a head of a Beowolf to finish it off.

"That was it?" Jaune wondered.
"Well… Nora sent some of them flying into the sky." Ren said.
"Did she?" Jaune looked up… to see the Grimm coming back down for a landing and slammed into the ground hard enough for them to disappear on contact.
"Aw man, I was hoping they'd leave the atmosphere…" Nora pouted.
"OUR HEROES!" A voice cried as they would see several Toads approaching them in happiness.
"...Uh, you guys are seeing the walking mushroom people too, right?" Nora asked as they nodded. "Oookay, good! I was hoping it wasn't just me having eaten something weird…"
"My goodness, you four are quite formidable!" A voice said as they turned to see Toadsworth approaching them. "Come on over to the castle, we have much to discuss about." He said as the team looked at each other before walking to Peach's Castle.
BGM: Peach's Castle (Fortune Street)
"So, who are you four?" Toadsworth asked. "You want tea?" He offered as they nodded.
"Jaune Arc."
"Pyrrha Nikos."
"Lie Ren, though I go by Ren."
"And I'm Nora Val-" She gasped immediately. "PUPPY!" She gushed, seeing Toadsworth's Stoutland approach him. She rushed over to him and immediately gave him loves and affection. "Who's a cute fluffy big boy? Who's a cute fluffy big boy?! You are! You are! Yes, you are~!"
"Woof!" The Stoutland licked her face.
"I see you met Stoutland. He's a very loyal Pokemon."
"Pokewhatnow?" Jaune tilted his head.
"You've never heard of Pokemon?"
"Not really. We come from a land where… Pokemon is unheard of." Pyrrha said.
"Though we do have games called Digimon! I think the newest one came out… Ultra Planet and Ultra Black Hole…" Nora said.
Toadsworth sweatdropped. "I see… now what are you here for?"
"We came to exterminate the Grimm. We heard the Mushroom Kingdom had a problem, though we've never heard of it." Jaune said, drinking his tea.
"Ah, well… the nefarious Bowser had used these Grimm to capture the Mario Bros and Princess Peach!"
Nora gasped. "This Bowser guy kidnapped a princess?! We need to save her on the DOUBLE!" She said. "Let's go! TO BOWSER!" She ran out the door, causing them to sweatdrop.
"Lively one, isn't she?" Toadsworth asked.
"Yeah… come on, let's go before she gets herself hurt." Ren said as they walked out the door.
"Frankly, I'd be more worried about those who get in Nora's way…" Pyrrha said.
"Why do I have this feeling that there's never a dull moment with those four…" Toadsworth chuckled.

World 1-1: Strange Items
"Whoa… what's with the floating blocks?" Jaune wondered.
"...Gravity Dust?" Pyrrha guessed as they walked forward, noticing Nora batting away a Goomba and a Koopa, then Nora hit a ? Block as a Super Mushroom popped out.
"Ooooh! What's this?" Nora wondered, picking it up. "Looks weird with the eyes on it… I'm gonna eat it!"
"What?! Nora, don't! You don't know where that's-" Nora gulped it down before Pyrrha could finish her sentence. "-Been…"
Nora turned around to face a horrified Goomba. "Nora SMASH!" She yelled, slamming her hammer into the ground and creating a massive shockwave in the process, obliterating any block, Goomba, Koopa or even the Grimm in the way. In fact, there was a small crater!
"...That just powered her up." Jaune blinked, seeing there was debris everywhere.
"Whew! I don't even know my own strength!" Nora said, hitting another ? Block as a Fire Flower popped out. She immediately took it and threw it to Pyrrha. "Pyrrha, catch!"
"Oh!" Pyrrha took it for herself as she absorbed it, where fiery decals appeared on her armor as an orange streak went over her hair. "What in…?" Pyrrha wondered as she conjured up flames in her hand. "Gah!" She yelped.
"Coooool! Pyromancy!" Nora grinned.
"...Doesn't that hurt?!" Jaune asked with concern. "Where's a bucket of water?!"
"It… it doesn't." Pyrrha said with intrigue. "What is this…?"
"I'm gonna call it a Fire Flower!" Nora said as she walked off as the others followed her, then she hit another ? Block and hit an Invincibility Star popped out. "Ooooh, shiny~!" She picked it up and took it for herself, and then noticed a Nevermore swooping down. "Come on, Star… work your magic!" She said, absorbing it as she felt herself glow with a rainbow aura.
"Hehehe~" Nora got into position as the Nevermore showed off its claws.
"NORA!" Ren yelled as he ran to her, only for Nora to swing her hammer into the Nevermore's head, releasing a rainbow-like explosion that evaporated the Nevermore and several unlucky Para-Biddybuds that blew by.
"Wow!" Nora grinned. "Now that's a lotta damage~!"
"...What is up with this place?" Jaune wondered.
"It's… quite characteristic!" Pyrrha said as they walked off, soon coming across a flagpole as Nora jumped over and pulled the flag down, replacing it with a pink flag with a red heart on it.
"Team JNPR was here~!" Nora smiled as they walked off, unaware of Kamek who was watching them from afar.
"Hmm…" Kamek teleported away.

At Bowser's Castle…
BGM: Soldier of Dance (Team Fortress 2)
"Lord Bowser! Lord Bowser! We have urgent-... what are you doing…?"
"Having a dance off because I finally defeated the Mario Bros!" Bowser said as he proceeded to show off his dance moves.
"I see ya, big guy!" Mercury said as he proceeded to breakdance next to Bowser.
Kamek sweatdropped. "Uuuuh… very well… we have a situation. Apparently there's a group of four teenagers to… to… augh! I can't concentrate with this music!"
He fired some magic over at a radio.
Pause BGM
"Dude! Party foul!" Mercury glared.
"Lord Bowser, listen! A group of four teenagers is headed this way to our castle. They're going to try and save the Mario Bros and Peach!"
"Pah! Teenagers? Toadsworth is getting on with age! But whatever, I'll humor him. Get our men at the eight castles on the double!" He said, chuckling at the thought. "Teenagers… ha! I can't believe I'm humoring the idea. What are they like?"
"One is a scrawny blonde boy with a sword, the one is an amazon warrioress with a Greek aesthetic, another looks like a ninja boy and… the last one is a hyperactive young lady with a ridiculously large sledgehammer."
"...Meh, I ain't too worried about it. HIT IT!" He yelled as a Koopatrol pressed the play button.

Kamek sighed. "Maybe I'm worrying for nothing… it's just four teenagers. There are eight areas to go through. They won't make it past the desert." He said, sending troops to the eight castles with his magic.

World 1-2: Why Are We in the Sewers?!
"Hmmmmm…" Nora suspiciously looked at a brick wall.
"You sure this Pipe is safe? Those darn pipes had those stupid plants…" Jaune mumbled, rubbing his butt. "I didn't know they had razor sharp teeth too! Ugh… I just bought these jeans too… is my underwear showing?"
Pyrrha looked behind him, seeing his underwear. "Um…" Pyrrha stifled a giggle. "Nope! No large holes in sight!"
"Are you sure? I feel a breeze… though it could just be the dank atmosphere in here."
"Should we tell him?" Ren whispered.
"No no, let him figure it out."
"Hey guys? I feel like there's something hidden behind this wall!" Nora said, immediately smashing it down before everyone else could say something. She walked forward and saw three Warp Pipes. "Ooooh!"
"Oooh, what's this?" Jaune wondered.
"They have numbers on them. Two, Three and Four." Nora said. "Let's go with Four!"
"You sure?" Ren asked.
"Positive~!" Nora hopped in, causing them to shrug as they jumped in after her.

Meanwhile, at World 1-Castle…
"Any second now, we'll be facing those teenagers!" Red said. "And then we'll be the coolest Koopa Bros in the Mushroom Kingdom after we defeat them!"
"Yeah!" Black nodded.
"Coolest Koopas ever!" Green smiled.
"Yeah, we rock!" Yellow nodded.
"GUYS!" A Koopa went running over to them. "We just received word on the teenagers!"
"They're here already?" Red asked.
"Worse! They just used the Warp Zone! They're in World Four!"
"Ah, cool, they used the Warp Zone. …THE WARP ZONE?!" Red yelled as the other Koopa Bros jawdropped.
"Do they not want this Toad? Come on, what's the hold up!" Black said.
"...Are we not cool enough for them? Did they just skip us because we're uncool?!" Yellow exclaimed in horror.
"Nooo! I don't want to be uncool!" Green cried.
"Rrrrgh… HOW DARE THEY MOCK US!" Red yelled with fire in his eyes. "THEY THINK THEY CAN SKIP US BECAUSE THEY THINK WE'RE UNCOOL?! WE'LL SEE ABOUT THAT! TO WORLD FOUR!"
The four of them quickly took off running.

World 4-1: Gone Bananas!
The four of them walked out of a cave and saw what was in front of them. "A jungle?" Jaune wondered.
"Coooool~!" Nora's eyes sparkled, immediately seeing a vine and hopping on it, where she immediately swung to her heart's content.
"Well, if you can't beat 'em… join 'em." Ren said as he grabbed a vine and started swinging as Pyrrha and Jaune did the same thing…
…Only for Jaune to clumsily go about the vines.
"Ooookay! This is… this is a bit much!" Jaune yelped as they swung about, as Jaune reached for another vine… only to fall to the ground. "WAAAAAAAAAH!"
He closed his eyes, expecting to slam into the ground, but he didn't feel the ground. He opened his eyes to see that he was still suspended in midair as he looked up to see Donkey Kong grabbing him by the hole in his pants.
"Oh uh… thank you… gorilla!" He said as DK smiled at him and tossed him over a platform as he landed perfectly where the others were, already interacting with Diddy Kong as Donkey Kong landed near them.
"Hoo hoo hoo!" Donkey Kong beat his chest with a grin.
"Hey! Think you could take us to Bowser?" Nora asked.
"Hoo hoo?" Diddy wondered.
"Yeah, think you can take us… uh…" Nora looked at Diddy's hat and DK's tie. "Nintendo and… sorry, what does DK stand for?"
Donkey Kong grinned, pulling out a white board and writing something down with a banana marker as he turned it around, revealing a donkey and "Kong".
"Ah! Horse Kong!" Jaune said. "No, wait… zebra kong!"
"Pony Kong!" Nora smiled.
"I think that's a donkey." Ren said.
"Oh! Donkey Kong!" Pyrrha said.
"Hoohoo!" DK nodded, giving Pyrrha a hug.
"Thank you! So uh… can you take us to Bowser?" Pyrrha asked. "We're trying to rescue Princess Peach and the Mario Bros."
"No no no, you gotta talk to them in their own language!" Nora said. "Ooo eee ah ah oh walla walla bing bang!"
"I think that's witch doctor." Ren pointed out.
"Augh, cut me some slack. My gorilla-ese is a bit rusty!"
"Gorilla-ese?" Jaune and Pyrrha sweatdropped.
"Ooo ooo eee ee ah ah ah!"
Nora received a massive smack on the top of her head by Donkey Kong while Diddy folded his arms in annoyance. "Ooof! …Did I offend you in your tongue? What did I say…?"
"I think they can understand us naturally." Pyrrha said as both nodded and took them to a ? Block, the bigger Kong hit a ? Block to reveal a vine. All four of them climbed up and found three cannons labeled Six, Seven and Eight.
"Thank you!" Jaune waved as the Kongs waved them goodbye as they hopped into the cannon labeled "Eight" and blasted away.

World 8-1: …Well, that was fast.
BGM: Outside Volcano (New Super Mario Bros Wii)
JNPR landed on the rocky terrain. "MMMPH!" Jaune grunted.
"Ow ow ow ow! My ankles!" Nora yelped.
"Hooo boy…" Pyrrha had her hands on her knees.
"Mmm… that stings…"
Once all four shook it off, they kept walking. "Um… those are volcanoes, right?" Jaune asked as one volcano erupted. "Scratch that! They're active!"
"Eh, I'm sure we'll be fine!" Nora said.
"She's right. I think we'll be safe." Pyrrha said as they walked ahead, knocking away Bony Beetles.
"Huh… wha…?" A Hammer Bro turned to see them as he was playing cards with a Boomerang Bro. "Oh shoot! They're already here!"
"What?!" A Boomerang Bro got up, only to get burnt by Pyrrha's fireballs as the Hammer Bro got hit as well.
"Sorry!" Pyrrha apologized as they walked past as Jaune cut through some Grimm as Nora batted away a small Ursa into a lava river, then they walked over a bridge and saw a Chain Chomp.
"Mmph! That's… that's a… metal ball with teeth!" Jaune whimpered.
The Chain Chomp lunged at them, barking at them wildly. "No! Bad dog!" Nora pointed her finger at it, causing the Chain Chomp to shrink back with a whimper.
Nora smiled, walking over to the cowering Chain Chomp, rubbing its head. "You poor thing, you're chained up." She said, destroying the peg that kept it. "There we go! Roam free!" She smiled as the Chain Chomp tackled her, nuzzling against her and licking her face as it hopped off.
"...A… friendly… metal ball with teeth." Jaune sweatdropped.
"Hey look! There's a castle." Pyrrha pointed off in the distance.
"That's probably Bowser's!" Jaune said. "Sooo… we ready?"
"Let's go." Ren said as they walked ahead.

"HOLD IT RIGHT THERE!" A voice yelled.
BGM: Koopa Bros. Keep Cool (Paper Mario)
"Huh?" Jaune wondered as the Koopa Bros jumped past them, all of them breathing heavily.
"We… hah… finally… hah… caught up… hah… with you!" Red said.
"Hoo… I think my lungs are gone…" Green groaned.
"Got my exercise in for the day…" Yellow mumbled.
"I'm okay… my lungs are just… trying to catch up with me!" Black coughed.
Red slapped his cheeks. "Alright! Who the shell do you think you are, blowing us off like that!"
"Yeah, you have some nerve!" Yellow glared.
"Uh… who are you guys?" Jaune wondered.
"Who are we?! We'll tell you who we are!" Red declared. "Red!"
"Black!"
"Green!"
"Yellow!"
"And together… WE ARE THE KOOPA BROS! THE COOLEST OF COOL!"
"...Duuuuude, nice cosplay!"

"COSPLAY?!" Red yelled in disbelief.
"Yeah, you probably got those costumes in a cosplay store. Heck, there's one in Vale too. Really nice lady, if a bit of a plain jane." Nora said. "Her name's Tsumugi! And… you probably got your costumes from her!"
"Come to think of it… what were those guys that Tsumugi was raving about the other day?" Pyrrha wondered. "Was it… Power Rangers…?"
*Tea Kettle Boiling Sound Effect*
"No… I think it was… uh… Coral Rider…?" Jaune wondered.
"Kamen Rider." Ren pointed out.
"Oh, riiiiight!"
"It could just be that Super Sentai thingy." Nora said.
"Hmm… actually, it might be those henchmen that serve that Frieza guy. What were their names again? Genku Squad or something? I don't watch anime that much…" Pyrrha admitted.
"Gontai… no, that's not it…" Jaune rubbed his chin.
"GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!" Red yelled, steam shooting out of his non-existent ears. "FIRST YOU BLOW US OFF BECAUSE YOU THINK WE'RE UNCOOL AND NOW YOU INSULT US! THAT'S IT! WE'RE GOING TO KICK YOUR SHELL-LESS BUTTS TO THE CURB!"
"Alright, bring it!" Nora said as they brought out their weapons.
BGM: Attack on the Koopa Bros (Paper Mario)
Running On Adrenaline (And Possibly Anger) - The Koopa Bros
"FORMATION UP!" Red yelled as they got on top of each other, all of them spinning into formation and launching themselves toward them, forcing them all to dodge as the four turned around and split up, Red launching toward Pyrrha, Black toward Jaune, Green toward Ren and Yellow toward Nora.
Red delivered several punches and kicks at Pyrrha, but she blocked with her shield and then punched the ground to create a fiery shockwave that knocked the Koopa away. Red immediately retaliated by spinning into her, but she gave a good fire kick and sent him away.
"Hmm… I feel like fire could be my natural element here."
Black pulled out shurikens and threw them at Jaune, but he blocked with his shield. However, the shurikens beeped and then exploded, knocking Jaune back. "Nnngh!" He grunted as Black jumped over and kicked him in the head. Jaune retaliated by slashing him away, but Black did a few hand signs and poofed away, reappearing behind him and kicked him in the back of the knee.
"Mmmph!" Jaune grunted.
"Blow you away!" Green clapped his hands, unleashing wind at Ren as he was pushed back, only he retaliated by shooting at him. "Rrrrgh!" He immediately got in his shell and spun around to create a tornado, flying toward him and sucked up Ren as he was launched out, then Green jumped out and kicked Ren to the ground. He immediately flipped over and landed on the ground with his feet.
"This could get tricky!"
Yellow slammed into Nora's hammer, being batted away by it but he immediately came back and jumped over the swing, smacking Nora in the head and knocking her on her back. "Ooomph!"
He immediately pulled out a stun gun. "Cosplay THIS!" He struck her in the neck, activating the stun gun.
"GYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!"
"Hehehe-"
"-AAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!"
"Eh?!"
Nora kicked him off of her, smirking as electricity coursed through her body as electricity shot out of the corners of her eyes. "Thanks for the boost~!"
"What in the heck…?!" He yelled as Nora immediately swung her hammer down, creating a massive shockwave that knocked the Koopas in the air right as Red conjured up fire.
"Whooooa! What the shell…?!" Red yelled as Nora zipped her way toward the Koopa Bros, swinging her hammer into them and sent them flying.
"YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARGH!" All of them yelled as four stars shined brightly in the sky.

"...Is it bad I feel bad for them?" Jaune asked.
"Oh, I'm sure it'll be fine~!" Nora smiled.
"Yeah… I think they'll be okay." Pyrrha said as they walked off, but then Nora spotted a ? Block nearby.

"WHAT?! They're here already?!" Bowser said.
"Apparently they discovered the Warp Zones!" Kamek said.
"Well… they're about to have a really bad time!" Bowser ran off.
With JNPR…
"You think they were expecting us?" Ren asked as they walked through the castle.
"We probably came by way too fast." Nora said, her hands behind her head as they walked through the empty hallways aside from an occasional Thwomp until they soon got onto a lava bridge.
"HEY!" A voice roared as Bowser slammed into the ground.
BGM: Bowser Appears (Super Mario Galaxy)
"Aaaah!" Jaune yelped. "I didn't expect Bowser to be a monster!"
"So you're Bowser." Pyrrha glared, readying her weapon.
"You bet I am! And you must be the teenagers that tore through everything rather quickly!" Bowser flashed his claws that made Jaune gulp while everyone got ready. "I'm gonna make quick work on all of you four!"
"We'll see about that!" Pyrrha said as the four of them got in their battle stances.
Bowser let out his signsture roar and then smirked. "SHOW TIME!"

BGM: King Bowser (Super Mario Galaxy)
"Alright, time to see what this can do!" Nora said, pulling out a Mega Mushroom and chomping down on it, immediately growing giant.
"HUH?!" JPR yelled.
"...Uh oh…" Bowser whimpered as Nora burst through the ceiling, and then brought out her hammer.
"FOOOOOOORE!"
Nora swung her hammer, breaking half of the entire castle and Bowser and the whole Koopa Troop flying away.
"AAAAAAAAARGH!"

Nora shrunk back to normal. "So! Shall we?"
"This land just gets weirder and weirder…" Jaune said as they walked through what was left of Bowser's Castle and went into the cells.
"Mama Mia, what the heck was that?" Luigi wondered as JNPR walked in.
"Your saviors have arrived!" Nora smiled.
"You guys okay?" Jaune asked.
"We are-a now!" Mario nodded.
"Thank you for saving us." Peach smiled as Pyrrha used her semblance to warp the bars as the three walked out. "Who are you?"
"We're Team JNPR, ma'am." Jaune said as they escorted them out of the castle, the other half crumbling to dust as they walked out.
"Arf arf!"
They would see the same Chain Chomp approach them.
"Oh hey big guy!" Nora smiled as the Chomp leaped into her arms. "Oooh, affectionate~! Can we keep him? Can we!"
"Eh, sure. I'm sure Ozpin won't mind." Ren said.
"He is kinda cute!" Pyrrha smiled, petting him on the hand.
"Yeah, I guess we got a new team member. Welcome to the t-"
