"Well, that was a neat ending to that universe! …Or not, there could be more shenanigans going on in that universe. We'll see if I feel like going back to this one." He grinned as he looked through the universes. "Still, lovely send off to Tessa, if I say so myself… not to mention Dark Emerald's gone too, so there's that. I feel like we just met her too."
He shrugged. "Eh, I'm sure she would've been a pain in the butt in the prime universe too, but whatever!" He chuckled as he continued scrolling past until he found one.
"Oh, what's this? …Ooooooh, fascinating!"
Hades looked up the screen. "So, we all know what happened with Paper Ruby, yes? Her life took a dark dramatic turn and nearly blew up her world if it wasn't for her other universal self stopping her! …Not sure how she did that, but they have a connection somehow. Anyway, I would make a typical snarky chaotic joke about Chaos Ruby, but… now's not the time. Even I feel bad for the little blue ball of despair."
He smiled. "But, who's to say that in this universe, things took a different turn? Ladies and gentleman, I present to you…"
What If… Yang Touched the Chaos Heart?
"Hasn't Yang suffered enough post DK Isle? …Nope! I'm gonna be enjoying this!"
"Blumiere." Arceus approached. "Is there a way to restore the worlds?"
"There… there is one way… but I do not think it is possible at the moment." Bleck said as Nastasia heard something and turned around, letting out a small gasp. "Timpani… I-"
"COUNT, LOOK OUT!" Nastasia screamed as she got in front of him… before taking the full hit of magic. "AGH!" She yelled before falling to the ground.
"Huh? Nastasia?" Bleck wondered as the trance that Ruby was in dissipated.
"Nnngh!" Ruby rubbed her head.
"Ahahahaha! Silly assistant. Absorbing my attack to protect him? What an adorably hopeless gesture." A voice said as Dimentio floated in. "I was about to give him the everlasting peace he so desperately wants!"
"Dimentio?! You're… alive?!" Tippi said in shock.
"Ah ha ha ha ha ha ha! Of course, this is my moment! Even if the count dies, the Chaos Heart won't disappear if I continue to control it."
"YOU WHAT?!" Yang yelled.
"That will not be happening!" Arceus said, charging up a Judgment attack.
"Settle down there, "God"!" Dimentio said, snapping his fingers and disabling his abilities.
"What?!" Arceus said in shock.
"I did the same with your attack dogs." He said. "Goodbye!" He said, snapping his fingers and the four Pokemon disappeared. "Now… where was I?"
"Did… did he just…?!" Weiss said in disbelief.
"I needed the power of the Pure Hearts to beat him… I couldn't do that all on my own, however. So I had you do all the sweaty labor for me, and you even used your Pure Hearts to defeat Count Bleck! If they make greeting cards to thank people for helping with evil plans, I owe you one."
"What… what are you saying?!" Tippi said.
"I'm saying that you no longer have value to me, so I'm ending your games… well, most of them." He chuckled darkly, looking directly at Ruby before looking up. "They're all yours, Mr. L and the Phantom Four!" He snapped his fingers.
"Aaaah! What's going on?!" Luigi said as he and JNPR walked forward with their legs having a mind of their own.
"I… I don't know…!" Jaune said.
"Crap… this… this isn't good!" Nora exclaimed as their bodies went limp before they stood up straight… complete with five Floro Sprouts on their heads.
"Mr. L reporting for duty!"
"Phantom Yellow reporting in!"
"Phantom Red ready to burn!"
"PHANTOM GREEN READY TO ROCK AND ROLL! YEEEEEEEAH!"
"Phantom Pink is ready to go."
"What is your bidding, Master Dimentio?" Mr. L asked.
"WHAT THE DEVIL IS GOING ON HERE?!" Bowser yelled.
"When I sent Luigi and JNPR here, I planted seeds in the fertile soil of their unconscious… and now those seeds have sprouted spectacularly!" He then lifted up the Chaos Heart. "Mr L and the Phantom Four, go ahead and run along to make your big entrance." He said as the five did so.
"NO!" Marnie yelled and then let out a growl. "You miserable…!"
"Now speaking of seeds… there's one final seed to fully bloom. A seed… of doubt! A seed… of despair!" He said, snapping his fingers as suddenly everyone but Ruby was bound together in magic bonds.
"Aaagh! What…?!" Yang yelled.
"Nnngh! Not good!" Akechi grunted.
BGM: End of the World (Kingdom Hearts)
"Now then, Ruby… another question for you. Wouldn't you be happier if Ozpin didn't go and send you and your team on a quest to save the Mario Bros and the princess? Wouldn't you be happier if you didn't go to the Mushroom Kingdom? Wouldn't you be happier if… you just stayed home and let Yang had all the fun? Imagine that if you didn't go… you wouldn't have suffered all these nasty bruises along the way! Wouldn't you want that?"
"I… I would have loved that…"
"Ahahahaha… now, take the power of the Chaos Heart."
"No… no no no no! RUBY!" Yang yelled. "RUBY! NO! DON'T DO THIS! Remember keep moving forward?! You have to remember that!"
"…Keep moving forward…" Ruby trembled with rage. "KEEP MOVING FORWARD?!" Ruby turned around in anger. "What is the DAMN POINT of it all if everything is dead?! You've seen the Sammer Kingdom… but you just kept saying "Let's just keep moving forward!" How can one move forward if everyone is dead?! How can anyone move forward if their family or loved ones are dead… HOW CAN SOMEONE MOVE FORWARD IF THEIR WORLD HAS BEEN DESTROYED?! I am so… so… SICK of this phrase! I am so SICK OF IT ALL! I… I WANT THIS TO END!"
Yang's heart shattered upon hearing Ruby's words. She truly has snapped… but maybe… maybe there was a way to get out of this for sure.
She let out a growl as she slowly activated her semblance, her eyes slowly turning red.
"And thus… the dam has been completely destroyed! Irreparable damage is soon to follow! Ahahahahaha!" Dimentio exclaimed.
"Dimentio! Why are you doing this to her?!" Weiss yelled.
"A hero will fall into despair and will succumb to the temptations of the Chaos Heart. That is what was written in the very last page of the Light Prognosticus… and lookie here, a hero has fallen into despair!"
Yang gasped, looking directly at Ruby. Her fists clenched. Dimentio holding her still be damned, she had to do something!
"Apparently… all it took was for the Sammer Kingdom to be wiped out. Who knew that it would be the youngest huntress to be the one to fall into despair? She's had so much stress in her life… but, it's what happens when Ozpin sends young children to do all the sweaty work for himself."
"That… that was written at the end of the Light Prognosticus…?!" Bleck said in shock.
"Ah, Count Bleck… I almost forgot you were there." He said, snapping his fingers and sending Bleck, Nastasia and Tippi away. "I'll dispose of you later. Have fun with the so-called God of Pokemon." He said as Ruby stared directly at the Chaos Heart.
"Ruby… Ruby!" Yang called out to her as Ruby subconsciously moved her arms to the Chaos Heart. "No… no no no…"
Her hair caught ablaze as she let out a powerful scream as her hair let out a small explosion that knocked Dimentio back a bit, which in turn broke Yang free of her bonds as she leapt forward and snagged the Chaos Heart for herself before Ruby could even touch it.

At that moment, everything went dark for Yang.
She awoke to the sounds of a heart beating faintly. She looked around to see herself in a dark purple void. "Where… where am I…?" She wondered as she turned her head. "Rubes? Weiss? Blake? Anyone?"
The beating of the heart started to slowly get more intense as Yang turned to the source.
"You are… at the absolute. The turning point. The divergence."
"Who's there?" Yang asked, squaring up and ready to throw down at a moment's notice.
A shadowy figure emerged in a dark portal. "I am the foreseen end. I am the potential beginning. I am an inevitable part of the universe itself. I am…"
The portal disappeared, showing the Chaos Heart in front of her.
"THE CHAOS HEART."
BGM: Organization XIII (Kingdom Hearts II)
"You…" Yang glared. "You mind telling me where the hell I am?"
"You are… at the turning point of destiny."
"Turning point… you mean turning Ruby into something hideous."
"That is correct."
A deep throaty growl escaped Yang's lips. "And the turning point of all worlds. The void."
"You are correct. I am the destroyer of worlds. I am-"
POW!
Yang slugged the Chaos Heart in… presumably the face.
"-A major pain in the ass."
The Chaos Heart shook it off. "Why challenge me? I was meant to bring chaos to someone who is despairing while the worlds collapse. That is what the prophecy foretold."
"Prophecy schmophecy! I'm not going to let you destroy my baby sister's life!"
"You cannot stop what it is written."
"Yes. I. can." She said defiantly. "I'm standing between you and my sister. If you want her so badly… you're going to have to go through me."
"You would delay the inevitable?"
"Of course."
"You are… naive… at best. I can simply go around or over you." The Chaos Heart did so, but every time, Yang pulled it back and punched it away.
"Nuh-uh!"
The Chaos Heart made a void and disappeared, appearing behind Yang… only for Yang to turn around and grabbed the Chaos Heart, pulling it back and throwing it away.
"Don't even think about it."
"You are persistent. I will give you that. Why is that?"
"Because I love her." Yang said. "Something that you don't fully comprehend because you were born of spite and despair all because of a sham wedding that Bleck concocted."
"Love… that is such an empty word."
"Is it? Because it's full of meaning and compassion." Yang folded her arms. "You'd know what that'd be like. After all… the Pure Hearts exist."
"I am… familiar with the Pure Hearts."
"Those Pure Hearts are filled with love and compassion."
"Love is filled with destruction too. Do you not recall what Bleck went through?"
"Love is powerful and can make us blind… I won't deny that. Love can make us despair… and it makes us do crazy things when we are in love."
"Just like how you recklessly brought yourself between me and your sister."
"I couldn't just sit there and watch my sister bring about destruction. I had to do SOMETHING. Dimentio was giving her hell and I just couldn't sit back and watch anymore. If it means throwing myself into harm's way and protecting my sister… potentially turning me into a chaotic version of myself… then so be it. I'm not going to let you harm her!"
At that moment, a white aura surrounded Yang as it started to seep into the dark void.
"And another thing… I'm not going to let you get away with destroying the worlds that I love. Destroying friends that I hold dear to… DESTROYING MY FAMILY THAT I LOVE AND CHERISH!"
"This feeling… it's… warm and… fuzzy. What is this?"
"Love, compassion, purity… I know I ain't as pure as Ruby, but by golly, I'm willing to do anything to make sure my sister smiles again, because she hasn't smiled ever since we got out of the Underwhere! She fell to despair when she thought all of us were dead… and I'd do anything to see Ruby smile again. Her upbeat, cheerful, dorky, contagious, wonderful smile… and if it means taking the brunt of your chaos… so be it."
Yang pumped her gauntlets as the dark void started to brighten.
"Just know I'm going to put up a hell of a fight."
"I am the Chaos Heart… I should be bringing despair and destruction, and yet… your love and compassion for a single individual… it fascinates me. I want to explore this side that I have not experienced… and I think I have found the perfect vessel."
The Chaos Heart floated close to Yang.
"I want to experience… a hug."
Yang smiled. "Here's what it feels like." She said, wrapping her arms around it and pressed it against her chest, where they both started to glow as the darkness from the Chaos Heart started to disappear and slowly changed color.

"Mmmph…" Dimentio shook his head and noticed Yang over the Chaos Heart. "What…? No, that's not how it's supposed to-... actually, this might work!" He said as Yang slowly rose. "Ruby, you're gonna have to kill your sister for this! For I give you… CHAOS YANG!"
"You're wrong, buddy boy…"
"What?" Dimentio wondered as Yang pulled back her fist and shoved it into Dimentio's face to send him flying back.
"I'm not the harbinger of despair."
Yang opened her eyes. "I'm the messenger of harmony!" She exclaimed as she started glowing.
BGM: The Crystal Stars (Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door)
Yang lifted herself off the ground, spreading her arms out and closed her eyes once more as she glowed brightly. Her hair started to turn pink, her clothing turned white as her gauntlets turned pink as well, with her right gauntlet having heart emblems on it with her left showing a lyre.
A tiara appeared on her forehead as her white clothing transformed into a toga that covered her chest but was also split and showed off her thighs while wearing sandals to boot. Angel wings came out of her back.
She opened her eyes as her pupils had turned heart shaped as she gently landed on the ground.
"...Yang…?" Ruby wondered with a sniffle as Yang turned her hand and fired off pink flames that engulfed everyone, but they felt no pain as they felt the bindings that Dimentio had given them disappearing from them.
"What… WHAT IS THIS?!" Dimentio yelled. "This isn't part of the prophecy! You're supposed to be Chaos Yang!"
"I'm not Chaos Yang… I'm Harmonic Yang." She said as she snapped her fingers, getting rid of the brainwashing that had plagued Luigi and JNPR.
"Uuugh! What am I standing here for…?" Jaune wondered.
"Yang?!" Pyrrha said in surprise as harmonic aura surrounded Yang's palms as she threw the aura up in the air, where it unleashed a colorful rainbow explosion that, unseen by all, all the worlds started to reform as if the void hadn't consumed them all, including the Sammer Kingdom.
"No… no no no no no no!" Dimentio exclaimed in horror as Bleck and everyone else that Dimentio had put into Dimension D was brought back.
"Why do I feel… happy?" Bleck wondered as he turned to Yang. "...Oh! This is a surprise."
"THIS WAS NOT SUPPOSED TO HAPPEN! THE PROPHECY DICTATED THAT SOMEONE WAS GOING TO FALL INTO DESPAIR AND SUCCUMB TO THE CHAOS HEART!" Dimentio yelled. "THIS IS NOT-"
Yang conjured up a bow. "Hey Dimentio."
She pulled back the string as the arrow was conjured, the tip of the arrow was Yang's fist.
"Fuck your prophecy."
She let the arrow loose as it pierced through Dimentio, going through his body as he let out a scream before exploding into light.
Yang gently landed on the ground as she looked at Tippi and then waved her hand as an aura surrounded her before she transformed back into her old self.
"Timpani!" Bleck exclaimed in surprise.
"Blumiere!" Timpany smiled as the two embraced.
Yang turned around to face Ruby with a soft smile. "Hey Rubes."
"Yang… why would you throw yourself at the Chaos Heart…?"
"Because I love you, you doofus." She wrapped her arms around her as Ruby's eyes widened, feeling the raw poison of despair leaving her body as she teared up in happiness and hugged her back, softly crying into her shoulder.
"Thank you…!" She sobbed in joy.
Yang smiled, not letting go as they held each other for a long time.

Later…
"I did not see this coming, admittedly." Merlon said, staring at Harmonic Yang in front of him. "However, I thank you for destroying the void and saving our worlds."
"Don't mention it. As long as I'm around, nobody's gonna fall into despair."
"I'm thankful. Have a safe trip back home."
With a nod, Yang opened up a portal as everyone went back inside, with Bowser rubbing his head in confusion and wondering what the heck just happened.
Back at Patch…
"Oh my… Yang!" Tai said in surprise as he saw his daughter in a completely new outfit. "I know you tend to be rebellious but this is… a complete new makeover. What happened?"
Yang smiled. "Let's just say I love my sister."
"So you… turned pink because of that…?" Tai tilted his head, glancing to see Ruby hugging Pit and Byleth with a big smile on her face.
"It's a long story, dad."
Tai laughed. "I bet it is. Try me!"
"Well, that about wraps it up. Apparently the Power of Love is really strong. Who knew! See you next time!"
