Greetings another month is upon us and a special one at that in celebration of the 200 kudos/favs and to make up for the slow down period because of school(and to get back to even numbers) this month will be a THREE chapter month! enjoy the chapter and the next will be one week from now followed by a week break and then the last chapter of the month on the 22nd!

The monsters return home: Akainado, Asterius

Gyoro-Gyoro was surprised when the monsters sent out on their little recruitment mission were not only fewer than they had when they had initially set off but were injured for their time normally this level of disappointment would be immediately followed up by these monsters being killed and sacrificed to lord Orochi for failing in their mission but something stuck out to the monster he had sent along one of his cadre applicants nyan for the attack in the inevitable case that the teen group would refuse their offer but not only did the cat monster come back and report that as he thought the teens had refused the offer and began to fight back but not only ust defend themselves and they had began kill monsters but he was stopped from killing them by another monster this one was "new" someone he couldn't recognize although he called himself his trusted scout phoenix man, apparently the monster was dealt a nearly fatal blow from one of the teens and had revived itself similar to the the character he was based on, it was very interesting to Gyoro-Gyoro and he knew that near death or in some cases complete death and resurecttion can generate growth explosivly but to this extent going from an admitdettly somewhat above average demon to the level of where it could completely stop the one of his potential cadres, he wanted to experiment more about this power this monster gained but he would wait until after he was done disscssing with the monsters present, the new and improved phoenix man remarked that he let the teens go due to them granting him this new form of his, which Gyoro-Gyoro would reprimand him for later although the teens unnwowingly gifted him another useful pawn which he himself should thank them for.

As the monsters got back in their seat, Gyoro-Gyoro also should thank the teens for their sudden dark turn as now he could use that in turn to indeed the monster even more into his favor during his speech he brought up the fact that the supposed "non-killing army" was nothing but a scam and they were now showing their true colors during that night and how they were just like the rest of the heroes no not just the rest of the heroes the rest of humanity and how they only wanted humans to rule and survive and prosper and at best they will let monster rot in cells for the rest of their lives using the monster that they liberated from the cells as the perfect example of victims from them regarding life in incarceration is no life at all and if anything was more along the lengths of prolonged torture which both a large scale monster and a turtle monster both contested to be true and the association experiments on the monster they capture. The meeting continued first congratulating the monsters that had managed to survive their greeting to the wider world and that they have burned an imprint into the world that wouldn't fade for a long time remarking that the monster working together completely took the association off guard and that they were able to overcome the monster weakness and that with them working together they could destroy the association which gained another roar of approval but there was some dissent amongst them some monster question why did they hold back their main force and didn't continue with the attack while the heroes were down?

Gyoro-Gyoro remarked that it was a necessary pause their invasion was not only an announcement but an invitation to other monsters that may be out there to come and join forces with them, they didn't know the true depths of the hero association strength just yet and they didn't want to take their new found power for granted, to make his point even more pronounced, he remarked again how goketsu was somehow mysteriously killed, gyoro-gyoro pointed out nyan to the stage to speak and ask if green savior deku might have been the one capable of killing him that was his main mission when going out there to see if that was true or not and nyan shook his head while he regarded the mossy hair teen as strong he shouldn't have been able to kill goketsu with the strength he showed him during their fight. Gyoro-gyoro nodded and proceeded to state that in that case, the hero association may include more secret top-tier individuals that may be hiding in the dregs of the hero rankings, they knew of another one that belonged to a similar label and he cast a glance to the ninja cadres applicants in the stands and received a nod in return before moving along so they weren't able to act too hastily they were going to continue building up strength along with collecting more information and in two month time they will have their final battle they will bring the association to their territory and then and their they will collapse down upon them and wipe them out and without their precious heroes to protect them they will go on to wipe out the rest of humanity!

Another roar of applause but as gyoro-gyoro continued to go on and remarked that in this new society, they would be under the monster king Orochi it drew the applause to a sudden halt as everyone went quiet making Gyoro-gyoro curious, we're they not willing to submit to the monster king he asked and another of the cadre remarked just as so black sperm seemingly speaking for the rest of them remarked that their association was just a means to an end a mutual agreement to crush the hero association after that anything went, Gyoro-Gyoro than heard mumbles of an agreement after that which shifted through the crowd so he announced to everyone but mostly towards the usually rowdy cadre that if he or anyone would like to lead the association they are fully able to give it a shot if they were able to beat Orochi, he didn't honestly expect anyone to agree to these terms let along take up his challenge right in that very moment even the hardest to control amongst the cadre black sperm wouldn't do such a foolsih thing he knew his place but he also knew his strength and usefulness which gave him an awfully cocky persona but a sudden laugh filled the arena and all eyes shifted down to the new phoenix-man as he flown up into the air and flexed his new wings form before diving down right in front of him.

The crazy monster wanted to do it he wanted to fight Orochi right there a challenge of leadership, it was like he had just become a monster all over again, that rush of power must have been getting to him but he would allow it, he was curious about this transformation he could be a potential candidate for another monster king if Orochi had failed him yes that would work out well so he allowed the match to begin the only thing he asked was towards Orochi remarking that the monster king should leave a corpse behind. This would also allow him to observe the new powers of this new monster along with showing the other monsters that may not know the power of Orochi and understand how beneath them they were so that they wouldn't speak out against him ever again. As Gyoro-Gyoro floated up and away from the battle he commenced the start by destroying a rock in mid-air and phoenix man wasted no time closing his beak that revealed his human face and dashing forth beak first Orochi attacked with his usual first response which was the horns on top of his head, in a direct collision the beak had pierced through one of the tentacles head on but the other wrapped around him stopping him completely before slamming him down on the ground, but before the monster king other tentacles went to skewer him while he was on the ground a blazing heat rose up from the ground as he captured to of the tentacles with his arms his form shone brightly in a golden glow and the heat was present was emanating from his being phoenix prominence hawk mode 1,000,000 celsius the very ground beneath him started to melt into sludge along with the two horns that he held in each of his grips but melting them completely sending a large wave of flame with a flush of its wings, but the beast of a king was unaffected as the flames washed over him as it raised it's leg with extreme quickness punting the small monster into the side of the wall creating a dent of crushed a mushed rock as his body would also melt the rock into liquid mush, he charged back out of the hole he made with a different form this one more natural in nature resembling like a falcon his speed increased from his prior form and he zipped around ororchi avoiding his tentacles as best he could and slicing at the large monster but it was only superficial damage ororchi was able to heal more completely as soon as attack was done.

Phoenix man was taken off guard when he was suddenly struck by one of Orochi's horns but they were different these were more energy based and from them emerged beams of heat that fired in all directions that struck him on his wing blowing a hole entirely through it making him fall towards the ground, he quickly swapped into another costume this one in the appearance of a penguin as Orochi's beams started combined to unleash a large blast of heat this penguin form was seemingly an adaption for the beams as the monster summoned a large block of ice to block the heat beams creating a large gust of steam that spread out over the entirety of the chamber there were more sounds of steam as ice met fire again and again before there was a resounding splat/crunch that was heard around the entire arena and at that sound, gyoro-gyoro used his psycho power to completely remove the steam that shrouded the area giving the monsters a clear picture of what was shown phoenix man was completely crushed under one of Orochi's massive hands his body completely pulverized as blood raced across the ground.

Orochi removed his fist in from the carcass scraping the thing from himself before continuing looking to the others around himself questioning if any other challenges wished to test him but none dared speak, gyoro-gyoro was satisfied with the events Orochi's terrifying power was shown off to the others cementing his dominance and control over them.

while the loss of another powerful pawn was somewhat regretful things still ended up better than anticipated but just as he began to think that a giant brilliant light had emerged once again from the downed carcass and up from the ashes once again rose phoenix man but before he began to attack he was suddenly hoisted into the air by gyoro-gyoro pyschic power and he told him that match was over he lost and will thereby follow Orochi as they agreed upon phoenix man attempted to struggle from the grip but figuring it couldn't ultimately decide not to and submitted to the monster king for the day gyoro-gyoro was even more interested in that body as he was surely dead upon that contact but he reserected himself almost completely intact as if nothing happened and he claimed it to be a power of his character and costume and he halted him as he started to go on about something costume space or dimensions it sounded completely foolish but he couldn't deny the results of his power so he will let it slide for now. it was good that he at least instinctually knew of his power and capabilities it would save them some time in that regard but that was for later gyoro-gyoro dismissed the meeting with one more announcement that pheonix man would be joining the ranks of cadre and everyone left back to their rooms.

Aki simply followed asterius after the spectacle that was the fight from before, she had a brief conversation with farukuro before they parted ways, a majority of the new monsters that had either taken over spaces of the original occupants that didn't come back from the invasion during the day, aki was still coming to terms with what she had heard and seen from the non-killing army members, they were starting to kill monsters now? Did that include Koda? Was he just playing her the entire time and just putting on airs and now that she was gone he started to show his true colors? She began to think before quickly shaking the thoughts from her head, just because he lied to her once didn't mean that everything he did after was also a lie he genuinely seemed like a nice and kind-hearted person she knew even more so with some of torax's memories, she could see glimpses of their interactions without her. While learning of the fact that the bunnies she ate the day after they met were partially a planned manipulation of her feelings for him from the both of them which did get her slightly angry it did remind her of the fact that he genuinely cared for her and other monsters but if he started to kill them was that sign of him and the rest of them turning a new leaf? Or was it just a spur-of-the-moment thing? She could feel it and part of herself hated not mentioning the feeling of all the monsters in the area's scent to her it was as clear as day but to the less developed humans it must have seemed normal, despite essentially going their separate ways she hoped that they all were ok, she was relieved that the birdman had stepped in but what would the future hold for them?

And herself for the matter she decided to join up with the monster association mostly out of revenge white having spent time around the heroes she held no doubts that she wouldn't be able to defeat any of the heroes that had killed her father but she could earn a proxy victory and that would be good enough for her and with any luck the non-killing army members would be gone by then, the last she heard them talk about was that they were going to be leaving within two months which was a month ago so they would be gone a month before the final battle between monsters and heroes were going to commence if she had her timeline correct that was. So she won't have to fight them, well she hoped but nothing has been going for her in this world so far so she had doubts that it would start changing now. She followed asterius back to his room, luckily it was spacious enough to accommodate the both of them. The two of them didn't speak much on their travels but she noted how asterius was different from when she last saw him and she was reminded that Naga was also dead she wondered who killed her so not having much else to talk about with the minotaur she asked him.

"I heard …that you and Naga left from the mountaintops and attacked a random city, why?" Aki asked

"The mountains were no longer safe, more humans started to come up, hunters in fact..we killed them of course but then heroes started to come we thought it best to instead of engaging them leave if we stayed and fought we would have died by their numbers so we retreated. Naga was outraged by the action and decided to lash out at the closest city we could find, we came into contact with a robot hero and fire and ice warrior and bakugo katsuki." asteruis said laying his back against the cement wall looking at her, Aki took notice of the room and realized that it was just a barren place no beds, decorations, or furniture of any kind so she just decided to lay down about anywhere, as her fur touched down on the hard rocky floor she was instantly reminded of the contrast of her pin back with the non-killing army but she simply let out a huff before letting the thought fade and continuing with the conversation.

"I was told that Naga had died during that conflict. Did they do that or the cyborg?" Aki asked asterius simply shook his head.

" I don't know, bakugo had challenged me to a duel, he bested me but he was willing to spare my life, so I'm under the current impression that it was the robot that had killed Naga." asterius remarked simply and Aki nodded at that it sounded about right the robot guy was the S-class from before and another one of the people that had killed her father and he never did trust her and neither did she him but she guessed given current circumstances he was right or more they both were, human and monsters were just natural enemies to one another, they all had instincts to kill something, anything but some could control it better than others.

"So what are we going to do now?" Aki asked

"For now we will rest and strengthen ourselves for the battles to come." asteruis remarked.

"So…do we do anything for fun?" Aki asked rather uneasily, even as the words left her mouth she realized how naive that sounded and asterius looked at her with a similar look of dumbfoundedness from the question.

"You're no longer living with humans anymore so the notion of "fun" should be abandoned, we're in a similar situation that we all were on the mountain. We strive just to live another day fighting other monsters if necessary." Aterius remarked with a huff.

"The monsters fight each other?" Aki questioned.

"Indeed, we all may share a similar cause but that does not mean we are united as one, there is also the matter of food, surface teams raid the surface when they can and grab anything they can scavage but they have oftentimes come up short or missing entirely causing some monsters to start cannibalizing each other to survive so be mindful when you walk around the base and it is best to stay away from a giant bearded dragon called the great food tub it is one of the worst offenders." asterius remarked simply and Aki nodded at this and there was a brief silence between them for several moments before he spoke again.

"Are you sure, you made the right decision? There is a chance that you have to fight them in the field." asterius mentioned.

"I…know that… but I'm hoping I don't….I'll decide when the time comes I guess. What about you? I don't think you are the kind of monster to just indiscriminate and kill things unless you have to." aki responded grumbling most of the first part before raising her question secondly.

"You are correct, I wanted to fight bakugo once more, and if he beat me this second time even after having gained Naga's powers I would have asked him to kill me." asterius remarked.

"And what would have happened if you won? Would you have spared him as he spared you?" aki followed up.

"No, I had already spared him on the mountain, the next of us meeting would be one of our ends, in the event, it was his I'm confident that the other members of the non-killing army members to kill me in retaliation if that were not possible I would simply return here and continue until one day a hero killed me. If you are asking, do I follow closely the monster association's goal of killing all of humanity? No, I do not, but I hold no grudges against them for having those goals, humans and monsters hate each other. I believe it to just be natural between them, humans have had the power advantage but now things are different only time will tell if things change going forwards." asterius said.

"Do you believe that monsters and humans could ever just get along?" aki asked

"Perhaps or perhaps not, the situation became like this from the far past and will probably exist in the far future, the non-killing army held a potential for them to be a small bump into getting there eventually sometime in the future but if they join like the rest of the heroes it seems unlikely to change at all and we will be in a constant battle over the continent." asteruis remarked and to that aki had nothing to say, maybe that was just how the world worked she grimaced in thought before closing her eyes and trying to sleep on the cold hard floor of ….her new home.

Hospital Chronicles: Class 1A+

1st day after the invasion: The teens were all scattered about more than half of them were hospitalized while others were attempting to come to terms with what they had done the day prior, the monsters had identified themselves formally as the monster association directly in the middle of the hero executive meeting where they were discussing the future and possible motivations behind the monster attacks and if they were connected with the kidnapping of the executive son. the newspaper completely shattered the current discourse amongst them as it confirmed that the kidnapping and monster attacks were connected and that it was just a glimpse of their power but the only positive news was that the monsters apparently would guarantee the child's safety at least for the moment as long as the hero association refuses to act too rashly as their fated battle would come in the coming months, it also put a name to the madness Gyoro-Gyoro was the suppose advisor/ambassador for this supposed association.

2nd day after the invasion: The class was still fairly shaken up with everything happening but nobody wanted to talk about it until everyone was ready, todoroki and bakugo were still knocked unconscious and the rest of them were going through different surgeries at a given time, mostly to ignore what was happening around and to prepare for what was to come from the monster association the teens all agreed to get the bone reinforcement surgery just to increase their strength that little bit more battling with the monster had completely changed their mindset and now that they completely assured themselves as targets that could be killed just like everyone else they wanted to ensure that that didn't happen. Koda, Sero, and Tokoyami were the most shaken up about what was happening; they had almost an entirely different demeanor to them comparatively after that fateful night. Sero was taking the loss of Jackie fairly hard it was one thing if she just died to a random monster but the fact that it was the same monster he spared that had killed so many people beforehand really started to weigh on him even more than previously he almost entirely through himself into his training with the Samurai practicing all he could to get the basics of swordsmanship and with his ghost saren help he would also continue to hone his quirk awakening skills just as sharp. Tokoyami had mostly kept to himself even more than he would usually do he not only held regret for Sigismund's death but he also held regret for creating an even new stronger monster from before and while his class attempted to console him about it, it never left him as that new monster's abilities included not just simple regeneration but resurrection he couldn't imagine what a power like that could be capable of in the wrong hands. His relationship with asui was also strangled as a result with no fault of the girl for at least trying but the teen seemingly just lost all interest in speaking with her even when she apologized for her admittedly instinctual reaction right then but tokoyami only remarked that he didn't blame her for that he did just kill a somewhat look alike after all so he let it pass although it didn't seem like it. Koda was also sharing in some grief he had not only lost torax that day but Aki as well, she joined with the other monster partially because of his lie that he nearly forgot about and he hated himself for it.

4th day after the invasion: Bakugo and Todoroki had finally woken up from their slumber, but they were still practically bedridden for the next 5-6 days before they could even be dismissed from the hospital but that didn't let the teens stop them from coming together using separating themselves into the two-room to discuss their next moves and by that they meant what are they going to do with their group from now on how well they engage monsters in this world, the class informed both students of the night time fight that they shared with the monster and how a number of them were hurt from the conflict and how the monster association offered them a chance to switch sides which they all refused but the real matter of discussion was about what were they going to do now about how they combat monsters, multiple of them had admitted to killing a monster in that last fight those being Tokoyami, Shoji, Koda, Kaminari, Ojiro, toru, Jiro and even momo. bakugo remarked that he killed a monster during their patrol as well along with todoroki told them of his last encounter with the last monster it had admitted that it only craved to bully and hurt the weak and how he saw the former human as nothing better than the nomu that was back in their world so his last attack was full of killing intent on his end as well. With all those admissions out of the way, they began to discuss if they were going to continue on their current route or if it was just the spur-of-the-moment thing to happen. Midorya didn't mind it, especially seeing how uraraka was hurt so badly by the pig monster he doubted he would have been any more rational in dealing with the situation. They discussed it and some were all for just going with this world views on the situation killing the monster outright sero was unsurprisingly the biggest supporter of this which didn't surprise the class but none fought him on it given what he's been through, shoji was also on that side even given what he was he always subscribed to the world as different from theirs and applying their rules to it doesn't make sense and is rather naive of them, he was willing to give it a shot but he came out and admitted that the monsters of this world were different from the mutant quirk holders of their world, the regular people here had a legitimate reason to be scared of them and the monster don't seem to care of any blood or destruction they shed. Having Shoji say that made all of them listen more intently and reflect on the choices some were more willing than others but all of them hoped that there would be a better way of some kind only time would tell so for now they simply would let the conversation end with no real conclusion being met it was up to the individual to choose what they wanted to do with the monsters they fought none of them would cast judgment on anything they decided on doing.

5th day after the invasion: things started to progress steadily back to normal almost too normal for the teens liking, it almost seemed like people just didn't care about what had transpired not even a week ago, there were no crowd uproars, chaos, or even protest of the hero association life just preceded on it was in complete juxtaposition to their world and their conflict and the falling out of it, did the fighting leaves such little emotional impact? a lot of them questioned as they continue with hero duties although one thing did remain and it was some of the people's outlook on them, numerous of the teens had received a number of angered stares or passive-aggressive comments dealing with the monsters on top of the mail that they were sent to them, accusing them of being monster "lovers" and what were they to say now, sero was used to it he has still been getting a trickle of those letters from time to time so he remarked to just ignore them although it was hard to do so for one particular teen being Koda especially since he touted as being able to "control" and was often seen with them when he was suddenly not, no doubt a lot of commentary/rumors were thrown his way some of which was less then pleasant mocking him of how his "pets" likely betrayed him and he wasn't safe from the criticism even in his boxing classes either a couple of them had been making fun of that fact and accused him of running away and leaving bad to get attacked by the hero hunter and the other monsters, eventually this teasing casued an altercation to commence between some of them and while koda was hurt it wasn't to bad and the other guy had a broken jaw for his efforts but the two of them and others antagonsitic indivduals like him were sperated just so more incidents wouldn't happen.

6th day after the invasion: Bakugo was surprised at night when he was suddenly visited by silver chain he was happy to see that the girl was doing fine, although he knew she was strong given that there were also disaster-level dragons out there, he was somewhat concerned for her even though she said she beat a dragon before he assumed just like demons that didn't mean she could beat any dragon around, he asked her why did she show up and if any of his friends had anything to do with it and to his surprise, she declined and to his surprise claimed to seek him out on her own which internally made him smile but he didn't want to show that on his face but she probably could tell, he questioned why as he currently was, he couldn't train much that was unless she quickened the processed but she declined. stating to him that healing more naturally would help him become stronger. there was a brief pause in her movements and motions after she said that which suggested something was wrong or at least troubling her, he asked about it and was curious if she was worried about something, he wouldn't kid himself and thought she was worried for him but so instead the next logical step was if she was worried about a monster she faced and he seemed to hit the nail on the head with that question but instead of addressing it at all she skipped over it and asked about when he would be dismissed from the hospital, he responded immediately claiming that he would be out in the next three days, although he still wouldn't be up for much fighting and she replied that it was ok she only needed to talk to him about a topic regarding her target and before leaving unceremoniously almost as quick as she came leaving bakugo with even more questions in his head about several things but he guessed he would just wait until then.

9th day after the invasion: Bakugo and todoroki were dismissed from the hospital and went home, as the two got they were welcomed back with a welcome home party that was celebrated by all of their classmates it was similar in appearance to when they had got their hero licenses which brought bakugo back for a moment. the class went on to discuss and fill them in on things that had been happening for the past couple of days which wasn't much for the moment especially as the number of monster sightings has decreased again but midoriya remarked that they weren't just not showing up but they must have been migrating towards Z-city ghost town he could feel their aura when he was passing through Z-city occasionally with his danger sense, they're hunch was likely correct that the monsters base located somewhere in the ghost town where Saitama home was located so whenever they went there they should be careful about them, but they left the rule of engagement up to them as they have agreed upon before, the class have still partially been sparing monster and capturing them if it was simply weak enough but others would either kill them outright or give them a chance of surrender and if they didn't then well all bets were off and some still maintained the full non-killing gimmick they had from before at least if no one was in immediate threat, if citizens were in danger than they had all unianoumsly agreed that they would attempt to stop the threat in whatever shape or form possible for them. but the class enjoyed the small happy moment of them all being together again and that everyone was in relatively good health.

Reality punch: Saitama, Bakugo, Silver chain

A group of monsters huddled slowly in an alleyway, as the mass of them gathered around the recent newspaper article one monster spoke up among the mummers.

"the monster association, eh? they didn't publish the location but I found it. it's in Z-city." One squat monster said it was yellow with fly-like eyes, four arms, and small angel wings on its back. His words caught the attention of all the monsters present as they started to look at him and he continued with his speech.

"Only our kind can sense where it's located in the city, that's because of the distinctive aura that monsters give off." the yellow creature said.

"I heard about a group of monsters in the Z-city ghost town from before, this monster association must be it, they must be planning some kind of revolution!" another monster piped up adding on to the yellow monster's claims.

"This article must not just be for humans, it also must be a message to us monsters everywhere. "come here." they're calling for us!' the yellow monster remarked again.

"Then what are we waiting for? Let's go! we're going to join the monster association!"

another monster cheered and this got all the other creatures to join in a silent cheer before the mass of monsters began to make their way over to Z-city due to the destruction and damage dealt by the monster association there were more vacant areas that allowed the monsters more room to maneuver on their travels they quickly found other like-minded creatures and joined together to create a large mob once they had reached near the gates of the ghost town they had long since abandoned all subtly and started to move out in the open their numbers warding off any trouble for the most part as the heroes were probably all too busy licking their wounds still or so they thought as they crossed the gates the supposed uninhabited zone they had found a person their and going by his get-up he seemed to be a hero sticking out with its yellow costume is it an envoy by the hero association some suggested are they there to discuss terms of surrender some murmured. ultimately this led some of the more brazen monsters to directly go up to the human and ask him why he was there he simply replied that he was just trying to get his trash to the bin before the truck arrived, the monster saw through the blatant lie and tried to attack the man and hurt him into telling the truth but the monster that was about to assail him simply evaporated into nothing but a shower of red droplets away from the man the monster group rightfully paled at the sight and slowly backed away the two others that approached him similarly evaporated their chest being completely blown out as their bodies slumped backward on the street in front of him.

The yellow man turned to look at the rest of them and only questioned them, he simply wanted to take out the trash and he was about to run late so if they wanted to live just walk away now. A few monsters were actually about to do just that but one opened its mouth, it had deduced that this hero must have been a test for them set by the monster association and that if they defeated him they were to be allowed to join if they were scared of this "nobody." then they would never accept them and with that, the monster rallied together and charged at the man who only let out a sigh as he put his bags in one hand and balled his fist.

the bodies of several dead monsters lay dead in the street. Nothing was moving anymore or trying to attack him so Saitama just continued with what he was doing. He had no time to stop and think but he did so while he kept moving towards his destination with a slight jog. there have been a lot of monsters popping up near his home lately, were they after him? if a monster were coming to his home to challenge him the least they could do were be strong, well at that he was probably asking for too much they needed to be at least stronger than genos which is a low bar but at least at that point he would at least give him some purpose to move out on his own. Saitama thought with a sigh as he got to his destination.

The next day

Saitama was walking aimlessly back to his house, he had simply gone on a random Aaron for the day he had stopped by a comic shop and decided to pick up a copy of the latest issue of one of his favorite hero stories but despite it being one of the latest issues of said comic it still ended off on a cliff hanger which was a real shame. this comic was mostly about the protagonist hero and his bitter rival, the hero had just gotten defeated and had to focus most of the issue undergoing rigorous physical and mental training to defeat him by using a new "killer move" to defeat Saitama thought about how he didn't even have a killer move but thought again of how in practice he likely wouldn't need one killer moves are things used against people you couldn't defeat otherwise and that just wasn't the case for him there was no one around that could survive just a normal punch of his anyways.

the story also had some magical final boss that was, supposed to be the one pulling the strings behind everything but real life usually wasn't like that there has been an increase in monsters around here so there was a chance of something like that existing maybe it could be strong but going off the monster he fought so far he doubted it.

"hey you human, are you so burning with justice that you came here despite the hostage?"

"Or did you think your simple looks would act as some sort of stealth shield so you could sneak in a rescue the captive before the main event?"

"Hey! Are you paying attention here chrome dome? we are the ones who will replace the cadres, watch as we forge this new legend of terror, us the tempest brothers!"

but Saitama had paid the background noise no mind as he continued to read he was so engrossed as he accidentally bumped into something and excused himself before continuing forwards.

"Hey, do you have any idea what kind of situation you're in?"

"This is a crisis for all of mankind non shall be spared."

"We the three tempest brothers will rend your bones."

Saitama finally looked back to see who was speaking, of course, it was a new batch of monsters three of them in fact, one of them reminded him of a monster in the book but unlike in it, it paled in comparison in terms of the power it was giving off thing would just go down in one punch just like the rest of them would, he sighed for a moment thinking about how he wished his life could be like the comic book he was reading, it just made him feel even more annoyed, especially when in comparison to the monsters in the image these were nothing too special despite one of them looking similar enough but as he went to punch that monster in the face his head just came completely off.

there it was for him reality was often times more disappointing compared to comic books and stories he thought as he continued to scan through said comic as the other two monsters went running away but their screams were suddenly cut off as soon as they began causing him to look back and see what had happened the two monster were completely cut in two and standing their was a ninja of some kind before a couple of seconds later explodo dude arrived down next to her, oh that was right he did have to spar with someoen for him didn't he, he thougth before he greeted the two of them and told bakugan to meet him at the gorge and left leaving the other two completely stunned by the sudden absence but bakugo recovered quickly and noted that was indeed how the man reacted but the girl was just surprised that she couldn't follow him with her eyes he had just up and disspeared so she was forced to follow after bakugo to the designated location it was an a grogre like they said it was mostly just a barren rocky landscpae filled with multiple gashes and craters in the rock likley from their prior trainning but the large what seemed like gap in the distance of an rock strcture bakugo admitted that, he was the person that caused that and that it wasn't a natural rock formation and she could tell immedailty the surfaces was just to smooth and curved along with empty space in between.

the bald hero was down in the gorge waving up at them and bakguo gestured for her to go down there he would wait and watch from above he advised her to try her hardest although he doubt it would be enough to phase the idiot and she nodded and proceeded down. she paced herself forwards and look to Saitama before offering a bow, the bald hero didn't return the gesture but it likely wasn't out of disrespect he simply didn't know what that meant, so she asked if he was ready to begin and he was briefly surprised that she was a girl but he quickly apologized if that sounded rude of him but she brushed it off telling him that it was of no concern as she asked if he was ready and Saitama nodded he was and he remarked that she can start whenever she was ready so she did dashing quickly behind Saitama manifesting a sword with her liquid metal simultaneously her clone attacked him from the front, all five of them were completely scattered in front of her very eyes in the same moment that her blade was about to reach her target's neck he was suddenly facing her and completely stopped her played with his hand holding it in place stopping all of its momentum, she tried in vain to pull it out of his graps but it didn't budge instead the bald hero simply snap the blade like nothing but she wasn't diheartened by that fact as she melded the liquid metal into different shapes as she kicked him but while the attacked landed it was just like hitting an wall as the man wasn't phased in the slightlest so instead she used his body as a spring board and using that same leg kicked off him creating some distance backwards as the liquid metal of her clones that were dispersed came back down at him things this time in the shape of 16 different swords but none of the attacks reached the hero as he suddenly vanished again, she instintivllayly looked behind her and there he was. she immeditly did a spin kick to attack him but the attacked missed as the man bent backwards away from it.

the wasted and exaggerated movement wasn't wasted on her as the liquid metal quickly found a way into her hands again forming a sword and she thrust downwards at the man given his current body position dodging should be problematic if not impossible and the man hadn't shown any leg techniques so far so she believed that this strike should land normally she would avoid creating weapons for just a spar but something about the man and his still almost carefree face amid their battle was a challenge to her to try harder but she hadn't expected him the sudden wind gust that came from his hand as it skated across the ground forcing her to stop the attack cold to avoid- no the attack came in so fast the best she could to transform her weapon into armor for herself to brace for the harsh winds and rocks that completely enshrouded her vision and she was tossed aside in the twisting vortex of dust and rock. couldn't see much of anything but as she finally got her bearings and stabilized again she looked around and quickly exited the smoke and searched for her target but his voice suddenly sounded from behind her had spooked she lashed out but it again was just a clean miss, she chased after him forming multiple different weapons from her liquid metal but they were also either slapped aside or avoided entirely. she couldn't fathom this man strength it was almost frighting to witness, he dissipeard again and the man was suddenly att her back and she was sent spiraling into a rock face and crashed roughly the best she could do was prepare herself for the impact and as she looked back towards the man his fist was in her face and with that, the fight was over, he had won completely she realized that during that entire time, he never struck back during their fighting only blocking or evading, the shove just now was his only offensive that he did and impact from that shove was painful enough she couldn't have imagined what a punch would be like but she didn't want to test that out. after the fight was over she bowed before the man and asked him how he got so strong and he directly told her his training routine that he had followed for three years 100 push up, 100 sit-ups, 100 squats, and 10k runs each day for the last three years and despite the ridiculousness of the claim she did not fight him or disagree with him and called him a liar like he expected she didn't detect any lies in his tone of voice or body language and she believed bakugo in his more aloof mannerisms so she ruled out him being some master liar that he could even keep his heartbeat completely calm.

the two talked for a moment and without anything more to do Saitama took his leave, just as bakugo made his way forward toward her for a moment Saitama believed that he was also going to try and fight but the explosive teen yelled him off like he usually did and continued her way instead, as the bald hero made his way and left.

"Well, your thoughts on the guy?" bakugo remarked with a rather smug smile on his face.

"I didn't take you were one for proxy victories. Did your loss against goketsu shift your perspective on getting stronger?" silver chain remarked and she felt some satisfaction as the smug look he had turned into a scowl and angered replied in his usual fashion but still not outright yelling at her like he would during their early days.

"Like hell I am! I'm still as committed as ever to getting stronger than you and that bald idiot, if that's even possible." bakugo remarked confidently and there was an almost uncomfortable pause as he said that before the girl responded.

"That is...good to hear, in that same regard would you like to become stronger instantly?" silver chain asked and bakugo had a really bad feeling about where this was going as the ninja slowly took something out from behind her it was a wrapped bag in silver, as she slowly unwrapped it to reveal the contents bakugo intuition was once again spot on because what he saw at that very moment was the bulging fleshy fruit that his friends had described to him while they were in the hospital.

"Where did you get those?" bakugo asked hesitantly as he gestured to the two monster cells that she had on her person, bakugo was now a bit on edge, had she already taken one and become a monster and joined the monster association? was this his recruitment call since he was in the hospital when the others had declined theirs would they make that distinction or did they think he was just more easily corruptible than his friends were? A feeling of anger raged inside of him as he got a flashback to his capture by the League of Villains but he quickly squashed it to pay more attention to what was happening in front of him there were two of them so either she hadn't taken one yet or she was also going to ask someone else but he would go out on a limb and think that the other was likely for her she was clamoring for more strength as well.

"During the monster invasion, I and shadow ring were attacked by two monsters from the monster association ninja of some kind each of which in their monster forms was as strong as me. " silver chain remarked, and bakugo felt a slight chill at that statement two people as strong as she was? but even with that, she made it out relatively unscathed.

"They, however, didn't come to fight me but to offer me and my sister an opportunity to join them become a monster and gain even more strength, and to that end, they gave me these, they are-"

"Their monster cells eat them and you gain a massive boost in power and become a monster as a result. "Bakugo seemingly needed to remind her.

"You are ...aware of them?" silver chain questioned.

"Yeah, my friends were offered that same deal and they refused and if I were there, I would refuse as well." bakugo remarked, pointing to the cells in her hands before crossing both of his over his chest and staring at her.

"I see, then you had already known about them.. but why are you refusing if you want to get stronger? to make up for your mistake on your planet? to catch up to your rival midoriya? this will help with that you could likely accomplish both of those tasks if you partake." silver chain argued

"at what cost? throwing away all my pride and accepting help from an outside source won't feel great at all, I would just feel that I cheated in achieving my goals. I could never be satisfied with a result like that. not to mention that in this case, I would be becoming a monster, who knows if I would even be me anymore." Bakugo argued.

"the ninja monsters I fought were still able to maintain their human form, I'm sure someone of your caliber should be able to do so as well." silver chain argued and bakugo scrunched his face up in almost disgust at what she was saying and the compliment was she trying to sweet talk him into going through with it?

"Cut the crap! this isn't really about me is it...you just want me to agree so that you can justify your thoughts about it." bakugo stated roughly and for a moment the girl looked away from his eyes before she nodded her head. There was a pause as the two of them stood their bakugo was mostly still collecting his thoughts on everything but since it came to this point he would go ahead and ask.

"This is about your target, right? Who is it? Is it flashy flash?" Bakugo questioned and given the girl's sharp and quick movements to look back toward him, he assumed that he was correct again.

"you are usually hard to get read and get a grasp on until it's something related to that guy, while your body language doesn't change much your tone and eyes paint a better picture not to mention the questions you have about him, I mean it seemed during the invasion you got desperate when you talked to Iida." bakugo remarked.

"You are right I am desperate, I'm just not strong enough to kill him and I began to fear that I never will be no matter how hard I try that gulf between us remains the same but with this, that could change I could finally kill him and have my reve-" she cut herself off short at that moment her voice had taken on a massive amount of more emotion than he has ever heard from the girl since he knew her and the hurt, pain, and anger was ever present, what did flash do to her? he thought normally he wouldn't want to pry into her story but given the situation likely would have to but thankfully she was just going to tell him anyways.

"I originally believed that you could relate to the simple goal of gaining more power and surpassing our target but seeing as that route failed, what if I told you the reason that I want to kill Flash is that he killed both of my parents when I was only eight years old? is wanting revenge, not a natural reaction that other people would share with me?" silver chain asked and the question wasn't a rhetorical one, she was honestly asking him that question as if it was unknown to her, his relationship with his parents was fairly ok, he and his mom would get into it from time to time but he still loved her and his father while a pushover he still respected him to some extent he couldn't imagine having either of them taken from him, especially at such a young age, wait how old was flash? wasn't he around the younger side of the S-class heroes in his mid-20s or so that meant that when he did this he was in his teen years? what? why would he unless?

"Flash had to have been working for someone at the time right? why don't you go for them instead, he was just the executioner but he was following after someone else." Bakugo reasoned first as he let the revelation wash over him and attempted to steer the girl away from her current course of action.

"Oh I looked for them, but his clan his village was mysteriously wiped out by some unknown force after blast had put their leader in a coma they must have either been attacked by a rival village or suffered from infighting all I know now is that he and that other ninja speed o'sound sonic are the only two survivors of his clan from what I can find and no matter his reason he still carried out his mission without any hesitation, I can still remember his hollow and uncaring eyes on that night. So tell me, am I wrong in trying to avenge my parents and my family?" silver chain remarked and bakugo took a long moment before rubbing the back of his head, he couldn't exactly tell her she was wrong for wanting it, his thoughts were all jumbled up and clouded for what he should say or do at this moment, so he decided to wing it.

"Look, you're not wrong for wanting it, if that happened to me I can't say that I would turn out much different. Your patience thus far outstrips my own if I were in your situation. but is this way you want to do this, becoming a monster to achieve your goal? what about after the fact what will you do then, what if you lose yourself in your transformation no matter how confident you are in yourself this is something entirely different."bakugo remarked.

"I've weighed the risks thoroughly over this past week but I see no other options forwards I joined my clan the same year after my parent's death the sole purpose was to kill Flash nothing else they wanted a weapon and I wanted strength it was a mutually beneficial agreement but I feel I've reached as far as I can go with that as a human, and the ninja also wants to kill flash I'm sure the three of us together should be able to kill him. after that, after my mission is finally complete I will likely kill myself. in turning into a monster and pursuing my own goals I have not only put my clan at risk but I have also betrayed them and the price of betrayal is death." silver chain remarked casually and bakugo noticeably gaped at this.

"So you're just going to end your life, just after you succeed in what you accomplished? why? what would be the point then?" bakugo asked

"As I said the price of betrayal in the clan is death, learning of my deeds they will send people after me and I do not wish to kill my sisters nor will I force them to." silver chain said simply, bakugo was just at a lost for words he didn't know what he should or could say to make the girl reconsider if he even could she seemed incredibly dead set in her ways to commit to the task, what has he heard bird head say sometimes the path of revenge is often a lonely one and she was fully prepared to walk that line and he realized that was the reason she was telling him all this instead of one of her clan mates but despite her conviction, he wanted to try at least once more to make her reconsider he thought about making a move on the monster cells themselves and blowing them up eliminating the choice but she was much faster then him and she could just go and get another one.

"I still think you should reconsider going through with it, I'm sure people in your clan will miss you. you see them as a family don't you? given the considerations you've made for them." Bakugo remarked and silver chain did nod at that but her response took him completely off guard.

"Will you miss me bakugo?" silver chain asked suddenly and despite the situation, he felt a tiny bit flustered from the question but nodded his head.

"Yeah, I'll miss you...I do like you." bakugo mostly mumbled

"I see, I wouldn't be opposed to starting a relationship with you myself but given the circumstances, I guess such things weren't meant to be." silver chain remarked as she wrapped the monster cells up again and stored them away, she stated that she will wait until the correct time to transform likely away from everyone in case she can't control it and she suggested to him that he won't tell anyone, especially shadow ring so she didn't have to fight her sisters or leave earlier than she wanted to as she expressed that the two of them could still train together in the meanwhile and bakugo hesitantly nodded his head in understanding. the last thing he said to her was that she should maybe think about it more when she's less angry and that she shouldn't let that anger get the best of her as he often does, she offered a genuine chuckle in reply and only remarked that he told her that as well but here she still was and with that, she was gone leaving bakugo alone in the gorge and with so many thoughts going through his head that it started to hurt.

Bakugo started to see images or memories or something, they all shared a similar theme however it was about the large silver ninja, in one moment he was seeing something he was on a bed of some kind and what appeared to be in the girl's lap, he felt like utter crap at the moment but he could barely move his hand up to touch her and he could barely hear what they were talking about but it seemed to be about their relationship in some way, the next instance was something else entirely the two of them were fighting but who was more interesting they were fighting together against robots, the girl looked almost completely different from her traditional suit mostly wearing purple and noticeably without the mass reducing clothing leaving a clear cleavage window they're and she was acting different as well but he knew that it was the girl in question he could tell by her eyes.

Bakugo quickly got a hold of himself and started on his journey back home he didn't feel like using his explosions the entire way so instead, he took the trains and walked mostly just to clear his thoughts while he went back.

Awakening reveals: Class 1A

Despite the sour mood following the events of the invasion, the class had at least one good takeaway from it, which was that nearly all of them had awakened a new ability that many of them that had started to attempt to get the hang of and hone to the best of their ability however a request from mina halted people from sharing their new abilities wanting them all to share it like a talent show, this would also give others that haven't awoken an ability yet to do so as well as they had to undergo surgery for it through drive knights operation similar to momo but with the abundance of available data that he gained through all the new arrivals the operation was easily more refined than previously and the worry of harmful side effects had dwindled to practically nothing, which was especially good due to the nature these side effects could take. momo had finally figured out what her additional ability allowed her to do and it was something incredibly similar to what she already could do with her creation but even more incredible however it came with a serious likely unattended downside likely due to the operation which made her completely forget about the object she created with her new ability not just forget about creating however no she would forget that the object even existed in the first place for a whole hour she could even be shown the object but as soon as she turned away from it or it was removed from her line of sight she would immediately forget it again and this was considered a "minor" side effect according to drive knight leading the teen to can't even imagine what a major one would have been like but thankfully they didn't have to deal with that for the moment and only a limited number of them still had to undergo the operation two, in fact only two needed it, those being Aoyama and Sato. while Sato was easy enough to get into the operating table and awaken his ability without much fault, Aoyama was a different story remarking that he was "unique" in comparison to the rest of them and would likely need more time to figure out, Aoyama knew what the reason for that was and personally asked if he could not tell his classmates about his results and the cyborg didn't question it and agreed. Aoyama merely told his classmates that the test results failed in his case and that drive knight would need more time but they should just continue without him with the event.

So the day finally came when everyone had the day off and they gathered in the gymnasium for the time being and started to show off their new abilities at least the ones people didn't know of already, first off was mina herself the sporadic and energetic girl was still herself even despite what was happening although she was definitely a modicum less cheery as she used to be that everyone could notice right away her new power she termed phase shift originally she believed replaced her old one completely turning her normal liquid acid into a solid type instead now she could still control the potency of the of said acid but instead of viscosity she could control the density of the acid she created instead making it come with its own trade-off in comparison to how her quirk worked before she was a much more close-ranged fighter a practiced as such, another notable change was a physical one her horns had taken on a more pronounced shape getting larger and twisting a bit at the ends, it made her sleeping a lot more difficult when she first got used to them. while she was happy to have them she was also amiss about her normal liquid abilities and on that day when she had that thought about them instead she noticed a change her quirk had gone back to normal along with her horn, originally she thought that she had lost her awakening somehow but momo and Iida after talking to her about it and how she awakened in the first place and after describing it they had both concluded that her new ability was changing the state of matter of her acid of course mina took a minute to grasp what that meant but she was in complete ecstasy once she figured it out.

during her presentation to her classmates, she first pointed to todoroki and gestured for him to watch closely as her horns suddenly turned from their normal small selves to a sharp near demonic heated glowing form to punctuate her point out from one of her hands she generated a ball of plasma gaining everyone attention and surprise, she then asked if todoroki could generate a couple of ice targets for her to attack and he obliged creating three of them and stood back as mina shot her attacks at them and completely evaporated them leaving nothing but mist in their wake, she also displayed what it would look like if she used her "acid man" in that form and it was similar to Todoroki's phosphorus red as she was surrounded by a purple ball of plasma the heat of which they could feel from where they were, she called it the move plasma man when she was in that state before powering down again and this time telling kaminari that he should watch carefully now as she then started to emit lighting from her hands and tossed it in her arms from time to time before chucking it at him directly which he promply absorbed the class was completely stunned by the revelation of her ability and momo explained that lighting is plasma and with a little mixing of her properties she would be able to generate it as well, Jiro remarked that it was funny when she fist tried to do the plasma man thing she had inadverntly burnt off all her clothes leaving her completely bare making the pink girl blush and unwiteely sent a burst of lightign her way but she was next to kaminari so he simply asborbed it for her, earnign him a pet on the head from his girlfriend.

The next thing Mina showed off was the different states she found such as solid. It wasn't much of anything special compared to plasma. She could somewhat shape the objects with her acid but nothing too amazing. She wasn't really into origami which would be needed for her to create many interesting things. her next state of matter was Gas. Now this changed her acid into a mist-like state and she could toggle the transparency of it if she felt like it along with its acidity, it was potent in its effect but she didn't like going beyond what would be experienced with something like tear gas for example. she demonstrated this simply by blowing a ring of smoke from her mouth and just like normally she could expel it from all over similar to midoirya's smoke screen, mineta made a joke that she should call that "fart man" earning a few laughs from his normal buddies besides sero that was, who could mostly just muster up a small smile instead. Mina shot the name down and instead named it similar to midoirya's quirk and called it smoke man. after that Mina was done with her presentation and the next person took the stage.

the next person to show off their awakened quirk was asui, she called it enhanced amphibian, she essentially could do everything a frog or any amphibian can do and people were confused wasn't that what she could do normally midoriya questioned first, but she explained in further detail that it was different and something more than before. She first demonstrated this by growing horns resembling that of the horned tree frog, she also grew a claw from out of her knuckle concerning the hairy frog but the effort put the girl in pain so she didn't want to rely on such things very often if she could help it. the next thing she did was grow to four times her size when she channeled the size of a bullfrog and even remarked that she could grow to 10x her size if she channeled the size of Beelzebufo which she explained was one of the largest frogs around and during the time of the dinosaurs. the last thing she showed off was her glass frog state her skin had suddenly become transparent revealing all of her organs in her face and head and then she combined that with her camouflage and her body became similar to that of toru's completely invisible to the naked eye along with her natural cold-blooded nature it was nearly the perfect stealth well unless you mention motion sensing toru commented from the side. the last thing asui showed was the reason she called it enhanced amphibian instead of just enhanced frog, she could copy not only frog defensive systems but others as well, she had suddenly grown out a tail similar to that of salamanders, making everyone look to ojiro for comment which the martial artist rolled his eyes at and remarked that well if she needed practice with it he would offer her some pointers which she thanked him for and with that asui presentation came to a close she closed it off with a couple of remarked that she could also copy salamanders regenerating capabilities which she showed by showing that her injuries from her claw she made from before were completely gone now and that she also had access to several different poisons or toxins that ranged wildly in effect although she would keep going with the mucus for now unless something demands stronger stuff.

Next up was Kirishima. He was more simple than his two previous classmates but he still was proud of them nonetheless for his new ability that he was calling pillars. he explained that he came up with the name as an evolution of how he usually referred to himself as a wall against evil but now it wouldn't just be a singular wall but multiple like a pillar and all those standing next to him would represent another pillar and together they can make a stronger and wider wall to protect others.

To emphasize that point he needed a volunteer to really show off this new power and the obvious choice was mina as she practically leaped out of her seat again to join the redhead up on stage, not too many complaints, once the winds have settled down post the invasion inevitable the question was asked on when exactly did the awakening happen and once finding out that Kirishima had awoken when he was saving mina it was fairly hard to keep the murmurs off the two down from the others especially as the two of them had gotten even closer during their time and toru noted the shift in physical contact she had with him than before hugs, holding hands, her seeking him out more even without the excuse for training it almost seemed like they were a couple already toru noted but that wasn't entirely true even despite their new found closeness and the quirk awakening which if Kaminari and Jiro situation was anything to go by should indicate how the red head really feels about her but mina told her that she was just going to take it slow and wait for him, she didn't want to push him and they didn't need to rush anything as long as the two of them were happy with how they were now she was fine with it, remarking to her invisible friend that toru and ojiro were a similar way.

both mina and Kirishima got up in front of the class Mina took his hand and both of them suddenly hardened completely overtaking a similar state to Kirishima's unbreakable Mina took the extra mile and shifted into her solid state as her horn grew larger and hardened under the effect of Kirishima's ability which she used to tap against his makeshift horns on his head as well. there was another reason Mina wanted to go however as she liked to experience the things that Kirishima felt it was exciting to her as she felt that something could have been dangerous to just get brushed to the side with no effort on her part at all, she waved and yelled to get bakugo's attention who seemed to be not paying attention at all or was zoning out thinking about something but after teasing him about silver chain again that got his head on straight and predictably he attacked just like she wanted him to he threw a couple of his C4 bombs down at them which exploded in their face and after the smoke settled mina shouted in excitement as she revealed that she was just fine.

With the demonstration over Kirishima also commented that while he can harden additional people he needs to have some contact with them with his hands the ability can also propagate to different people if the person he is touching also touches something although the more people spread it out towards the weaker the hardening is but he was working on that flaw by trying to improve his quirk even more than it already was, began to go on a rant about if he could be as durable as darkshine muscles than he could probably harden so many people like 40 to be at least a durable as his current unbreakable state, unlike just the only two people he could do currently. as Kirishima sat down it was mineta turn to stand up an slide on to the spotlight, the small teen had used his pop off orbs and threw it on the ground and actually created an ice slide for himself although he didn't quite stick the landing making him fall on his face causing people to laugh at him but he recovered quickly and dramatically unveiled his new power that he called pop open , his new power was similar in fact to momo's and people started to understand why for the past couple of days that the two of them had been seen much more frequently together. he explained that his power allows him to create things that are a mix of the periodic table, as he showed with the ice he made on his entrance he then slammed an orb down and a large smoke cloud was created, then he could create water, he could create fire and he could even create lighting and even plasma.

He could even create gold making a small gold coin which momo properly confiscated before asking todoroki to burn, in essence, it was a budget version of momo's quirk he needed to know of the elements that made up a specific thing before he could create it but he couldn't flat out create man-made objects as she could, he could only make things that were a natural phenomenon in the world which unfortunately include gold momo added his power while could be used for good, it also comes with a greater responsibility that he needs to take care of which was momo greatest concern he can't use his quirk for personal gain he mimicked her as she has told him countless times for the moment but with that out of the way he mention one more time that he guess the drawback was that his orbs had to hit a surface before they could actually release their contents that he wanted them to make he also had to think about how the he wanted his object to come out unless it would just come out as a circular ball and that would be it.

Mineta made his absence next going back to his seat and given the similarity of their abilities momo took the moment to take the stand this time around, she first demonstrated her regular ability first and asked her classmates to take note of the color of when she creates an object the pink glow as she created a nesting doll-like usual and places it down and this time she used her new ability and this time a green glow flowed out of her this time as she created that same nesting doll and places it down next to the one she made before she explained while the two may seem identical but they are in fact quite different she explained as the class gasped as the one nestling doll completely disappeared and she went on to explain what they just witnessed she is calling her new ability conjure she can create anything that she has seen before although with the same limitations of her creation ability and people oohed and awwed at that but kaminari wanted to see it more in action so he asked her if she could make something from their world to be sure before he snap his finger with a static twist to it and asked her if she could create one of the villain bots from their test at school and momo thought about it for a moment and guessed she could give it a try it was safer than creating soemone elses stuff.

so she conjured first a curtain for herself so that she didn't completley reveal heself as she did this and removed her clothing so she didn't have to make more of it and than concentrated her thoughts and thinking of the times she seen the bots the most and the smalles one being the one pointer vicotry bots, she had seen them when they were unatcivtaed a slightly turtle up so she could thankfully just dum the thing from the entierty of her upper body, their was large thud that resounded around the room and several moments more past before momo had finally removed the curtain and sitting their in a hunched over postion with both of it's arms to it's sides was a victory bot, she continued forwards doubled checked over her clothing to make sure everything is on right before she continued forwards with the machine and switched the flip turning it on and booting it up, the robot looked over at them for a moment and viewed them for a moment before turning to momo and to the surprises of all of them the robot arms extended bac and it launched an attack at her momo was easily able to counter the attack with her staff stopping the blow cold but the sudden action surprised even her enough to snap her concentration and completely which made the machine disappear.

the class immediately asked about what happened and momo's best guess was that since she remembered the robot from her time when they were enemies back in the entrance examination than she could only guess that the robot must have kept the same parameters from back then and attacked her as if it was still the test, which made everyone relax some more but it was Kirishima that remarked that she should definitely get better with that she could essentially create her own robot army if she got the chance making them others ponder and encourage the possibility and momo thought about it and replied that it wasn't a bad idea she would need to discuss with drive knight about when she next met him she remarked as she went to sit back down but than her thoughts traveled to the robots she met on that night of the invasion, those robots were each claimed to be demons and they were all roughly humans shaped and not that much larger than herself if she could get their permission then ..a robot army filled with them for the monster raid really didn't seem like a bad idea, she would have to wait however they said that they will contact her at the beginning of next month so with any luck she may be able to put their tools to better use then actually helping the monsters in their conquest, she thought a bit bitterly.

the next person up was sato and Sato's awakening was both an enhancement of his normal sugar rush, instead of simple multiplication of five now it granted him a 5 to the nth power, and the n was the number of sugar capsules or 10 grams of sugar he eats within 10 seconds of his initial batch the drawback was that his body was able to contain that much power as he demonstrated he ate two of his pellets and the class started to immediately notice that his muscles and body started to bulge out and get larger he grew several inches taller as long as wider, his costume was elastic so it stretched along with him. sato was taller and much more swollen than he was previously he remarked that three was his limit for now and he wouldn't want to use it if possible it was incredibly painful when he tried it the first time and he thought he was going to burst open at first,midoirya remarked that his quirk reminded him a lot of muscular his muscle fibers would bulge so much that it would overtake his body but for sato, it didn't seem to be the case it seemed like his very skin was being stretched out by his increase of muscle and bone and he could hurt himself if his body isn't ready for it so he needed to be extra careful about how many pellets he ate.

Now Sato, had waited a moment until he shrunk back down into his normal size and became loopy again to show off what was next but that was when he pulled out another canister he had despite how weird it looked due to him still being basically drunk with his sugar crash he managed enough to flail his arms around to put the new pill in his mouth and his movements straightened out completely almost instantly and he explained that another benefit of his enhanced quirk was that his quirk now worked on a number of things for example he said if he ingested 10g of calcium his bones would get stronger if he ingested 10g of protein can help his healing, and 10g of electrolytes increases his body efficiency as he showed just now where it processed his sugar crashed state incredibly quickly reducing the already reduced time frame to seconds however each of them had their own downsides when they wore off depending on what he ate so he would need to watch out for those in the future and why he termed his new ability enhanced eating.

As sato went to sit down the next person to take the spotlight was Shoji his awakening was something he was called Buddha, it was a relatively simple explanation but it was still an incredible upgrade to his ability, it allowed him to summon his dupli-parts essentially on anything within 100 meters radius around himself and not only that he could enlargen those objects to be about six times their normal size, he showed this by forming an appendage mouth on all of his classmate's shoulders and spooked them by whispering into their ear which made almost all of them jump in surprise and some of them outright attacked it which admittedly made him flinch not due to the pain but as a reaction to the classmates who attacked the appendage also flinch as they realized that damage that was done to the appendage hurt them instead of himself, earning a ticked off yell from bakugo for his efforts. shoji explained that if his duplicated appendage was coming from someone like he just did the damage to that appendage would extend to that individual almost like it was a part of them, however, if he creates his appendage from some object like a building or floor than his quirk remained the same and he would take a portion of the damage elicited to the appendage to himself so he still had to be rather mindful in using it carelessly. shoji began to list some other caveats to the new ability firstly being that he needed to be able to see or know where a person was for him to grow an appendage out of them either way his awakening was a great boost to his scouting abilities and he was still trying to think up more ways that he could use it for the moment as he went to sit back down.

the next person that was supposed to take the stand was Jiro but she decided to just remain sitting and simply remarked that her quirk was just like president mics, she can create a sonic scream from her mouth and that's about it, it was basically just like her heartbeat surround but just coming from her mouth instead she remarked dryly and kaminari was sure to add on that she had awakened for him just like how he did for her as he hugged the rocker girl and the class awwed at that but for the two of them just mentioning brought up that day and what Jiro did, while the apprentices forgave her and actually respected her more for putting down their wayward master as he had lost his way as soon as they found that he had become a monster, kaminari was somewhat saddened by the events while he wanted to believe that he was getting through to the man if he just acted faster maybe things could have been different but it was too late to start thinking that now, kaminari also made a decision himself during that time killing those married monsters, intally he was willing to let them go he actually wanted to but with both max and genji goading him on along with hearing what the monster actually had plan where they wanted to wipe out hummanity in it's entirerty he just couldn't let them go, they would just end up hurting other heroes or people and it would just be his fault. Another probably secrete part of him also didn't want Jiro to feel alone in that feeling of what she had just done.

taking another living thing's life, they had deepened their bond over it and during their late-night discussions managed to get past it for the most part. the two of them must have been embracing and losing themselves with the other for some time as mineta remarked that the two of them should get a room which snapped them back to the present as Jiro hurriedly separated herself from kaminari much to the electric blonde's disappointment but to get her back he has asked if she could demonstrate her ability instead like everyone else did even getting a small chant going from the rest of the class which eventually got to the girl and she relented, however, she said she would need a test subject and obviously that person was going to be the instigator kaminari himself which immediately changed the blonde attitude as he was about to say why couldn't Kirishima be the test dummy or at least have Kirishima help him with it but the girl was already had already released her sonic shout which sent him tumbling across the bleachers until he hit his back against the wall where he hit with wince and a groan as he slid down, he remarked that he was defintly going to get her back for that as he limped his way back to his seat even the girl kissed his cheek, he tried not to let it show his mood improving but the chick could tell he was faking it as the next person went up to show his ability and this time it was todoroki's turn.

Todoroki proceeded up to the stand and first explained his awakening it was essentially treating his power as that of endothermic and exothermic reaction which momo proceeded to explain to the few that didn't understand what that meant, for endothermic it meant that he could now absorb heat from his very surroundings which conversely makes things colder which also enhances his ice powers and for exothermic, it was the opposite it would raise the temperature of his surrounding environment but some were still confused about it as they believed that was something that was naturally to todoroki quirk in the first place so they just decided to show them, todoroki first went into his phosphorus white form and demonstrated on a water bottle that momo conjured and set down a couple of feet away from todoroki and proceeded away behind back to the rest of the class todoroki concentrated and held out his hand suddenly the water in the bottle completely froze over along with everything in the far wall which quickly spread around to the rest of the room and todoroki quickly swapped to phosphorus red form before things got out of hand he turned around to see that some of his classmates were shivering in their seats and he appologized before looking down at his hand.

he hesistated before doing this next move, momo knew the reason why and voiced that he didn't have to show them if he didn' want to but he shook his head and before the class could ask what the two were talking about todoroki extended his hand out and shot forth a burst of flame, blue flames that completely brought the temperture back up to where it was previpusly along with rising even higher for a moment before the blue flames died down and became normal again as he turned it off. for several seconds no one dared speak about what they just saw and understood his previous worry of showing it off, it was unmistakable and showed off completely who he was related to and brought everyone back to his brothers message from the war and how he was killed with similar blue, after finding himself again todoroki simply explained what was happening and how his flames can become blue, the endothermic reaction which he was calling vacuum would store the heat from his environment inside of himself so despite releasing cold or ice he would instead build up the heat instead of frostbite like he usually would and after he had built up a sufficient enough heat within himself he would then be able to release that internal heat in conjunction with his fire enhancing it and turning it blue until that internal heat went away. he also explained his exothermic reaction which he was calling overheat allowed him to steadily increase the temperature around him at the cost of his internal temperature skyrocketing downwards and just like it opposite after lowering his temperature to a certain point he can then use his enhance his ice he could reach temperatures near absolute zero if he exerted himself and his ice would become stronger and more durable when used in that fashion as well before going back and sitting down himself.

well everyone that was new had their moment to shine, the floor was now open to people who had already awakened but wanted to show off any new tricks that they might have learned so far with their time with them, the first to go up was toru and while the first thing she showed was her improved light manipulation being able to create some simple objects like chairs and bats out of light she also was able to do something even more unique now, as suddenly half of the people were able to see her and half of the class couldn't, she explained that due to her ability to still see light had to be hitting her eye at a certain frequency and if she could match the frequency with their own eyes then they would be able to see her as well without having to have her awakening activated. she had gotten into a habit of calling her awakening ghost bubble and she has improved with it to the point where she had gotten over her previous weakness of it just being a massive sphere that made things invisible now she could condense it down to a smaller area no bigger than herself but not only that she can now also enshroud a person completely in it and have them be invisible without having to be near her as she demonstrated with ojiro, she explained that the bubble can be manipulated to go around clothing as well so they didn't have to worry about being seen by their clothes, she wanted to see if there was a chance for her to completely get rid of her natural invisibility eventually but only time would tell for that she guessed.

Given that ojiro was up and toru's provocations, he guessed that he would go next, while he didn't want to at first but toru eventually wore him down and called his awakened state monkey mode and his tailless form was now being called great sage which thematically went better with his name she convinced him along with the tai shing martial arts he knew which after finding out further that it was a form of monkey kung fu so the name was doubly fit and he didn't feel like arguing about it further and her logic was sound enough. while nothing changed mostly about these two forms he was still able to grow out his tail longer and shorter all he wanted, but he learned that he could now fuse his two tails into a single large one and after more coaxing from toru revealed a partial fused form and in this partial fused state, he could fly by spinning his tails very quickly but the sight was as silly as he thought it was as some people held in chuckles from looking onwards but toru was there to comfort them as he came back down as the two went on to show one of their combo attacks which were mostly just toru summoning a light staff in the form of Ruyi Jingu Bang which hammered on his name even more along with her being able to extend and enlarge the staff at her whim showing off a quick little thing that they had rehearsed together before taking a bow as the two went to sit back down.

the next person to take the spotlight was sero and he mostly just showed off all the cool things he could do with his tape now which included cutting things, making flying weapons, and even flying or floating himself off the ground although people in the class correctly speculated that his makeshift angel wings were just so that he could show off while doing so, he also said that he was working on something larger taking inspiration from tokoyami's juggernaut mode but it would take time for him to do and produce the amount of tape he needed to do make it work. mentioning the dark teen he decided he might as well go next and while not much has changed with his quirk so far he did tell everyone of his ability to switch between dark shadow and shining light at least once a day along with his ability to give someone shining light for an hour at a time, but the newest thing he discovered well technically not him but asui had noted that it was possible that he could also potentially summon dark shadow while shining light was away from him but the shadow creature manifestation was rather limited at the moment to very basic shapes and personal enhancements.

the class noted the formal way tokoyami had called the girl regarding her last name instead of her nickname as she would have liked to be called it instead which wasn't too surprising for the brooding team but they were slightly surprised that the frog girl didn't correct him for it like she usually did letting the comment go although he soon apologized for his mistake as he noticed it himself or more than likely shining light had told him in his ear asui remarked that it was no big deal which set off some red flags for the two shippers of the class. tokoyami sat down and the floor was open to anyone else in the class that may have wanted to show off, they were all surprised when suddenly in their heads they heard a tentative voice that simply said the words "hi" given the caution of the voice the class all turned to koda.

the quiet teen was mostly just to himself and while his awakening didn't change much his body did undergo a change of sorts on the top of his head sprouted a large horn and along with it he could better communicate to animals better being even able to express his emotions to them as well but that also had the secondary benefit that he was also able to telepathically talk to people as well but given the boy's quiet nature he likely wouldn't make much if any use to it more than he did just now, humans were animals too after all but he hadn't checked to see if he could control people yet and hoped he didn't have to anytime soon. Aoyama was the last person to show up in the spotlight but entered with his usual twirl of happiness and delight, while he didn't awaken his quirk like the rest of them his costume had gone under some more renovations that allowed it to be fully realized his invisible cloak was now fully functional which he thanked toru with the assistance of sweet mask told him that the association studying her skin cells had made a quantum leap of an improvement in their stealth technology. His suit also now had a field generator that could redirect his navel laser to completely enshroud himself in what he liked to call sparkling armor he remarked as his body thinned out with bright blue sparkly light before being dissipated back into his armor. The class soon parted after that as no one else had much to share and decided to go their way and head on back home while others were going to go and continue to hone their skills for the future.

Wolf Is Home Sick: Garou

1st-day after the invasion: Garou's first day after the invasion he spent mostly to himself he didn't have much energy to spare on fighting heroes on that day due to his massive list of injuries and getting treated at a hospital was a complete no go as well he undoubtedly be seen by someone who knew who he was or something of that nature a be forced into another fight so he instead decided to live off the lamb for the moment at least until he found he healed enough, he was in located in a forest after all there was bound to be some deer or squirrels he could find to hunt and eat and a steady stream of water it would probably taste god awful as he didn't know how to cook for a dam but at least it was something he figured.

2nd day- after the invasion: Garou still wanted to recover and bide his time he convinced himself that despite his injuries he wanted to rise again on the third day like some myth he heard people talking about, coming back to hunt even more heroes but then a thought did occur to him, that monster association was bothering him should he wait for that whole thing to blow over? with it around he was unlikely to get much of any traction in the news as all their attention would be focused on them. Well, he started to think if that were to be the case would it be smarter to crush the association himself? that way the heroes when they come and find they're supposed greatest challengers in ruins by his hand he would be taken more seriously especially after he crushed everyone they sent to quell down the monster association but there was always that problem of people seeing him as a hero if he did that but alternatively, people were likely thinking that he was apart of the monster association if he started to hunt heroes again as well, so he was in a catch 22 either crush the monsters and be claimed to be a hero or crush the heroes and be claimed to be working with the monsters. if he was forced to choose between the two sides he guessed being considered a part of the monster groups wouldn't be so bad he wanted to be a monster after all but then that non-killing army member's words came to him again and he started to ask himself what type of monster did he want to be? he didn't want to be lumped in with the monsters that pure goals were just destruction and violence that was beneath him, he had a true goal in mind so in that sense both choices were poor options and if he were forced to choose between the two he would just claw a new path for himself as that was who he was.

3rd day- after the invasion: Garou was feeling abled-bodied enough to finally start getting a move on again, while still injured he was confident he could hold himself off in a fight and at the very least gets away from anyone that wasn't a part of the S-class, given the destruction brought on by the monsters the streets were pretty barren of not only people but heroes as well but he still made his way as stealthily as possible through the streets keeping his eyes peeled on potential sightings of heroes nearby. S-city didn't have many strong heroes to really look out for and metal bat was currently in the hospital so he didn't have to worry about that thunderhead but that didn't mean he could be completely free he was still injured and there was no telling who the city had gotten to replace the gap of their number one hero if they could that was, he didn't know about many of the other cities besides Q and R but if they all got hit this hard then he assumed heroes were probably still licking their wounds like he was, so he more brazenly started to walk free and wanted to go snatch a newspaper he wanted to see what he had missed during his two-day absence before retreating to his base of operation, of course, he took a couple of snacks and drinks on his way as he definitely couldn't cook much of anything but he did hunt and he wouldn't want to just throw out the animals he killed so far.

4th day- after the invasion: Garou got a surprise on his fourth day, he did not expect to meet that ugly fat kid he met at the park that day well he had been meaning to meet up with the kid to give him back his hero guide book that he "let" him borrow for the moment but he didn't expect him to come under assault by a C-class hero almost immediate as he started to read the damn thing, gasmask cowboy got it for that, his dumb revolver completely tore through the book's pages destroying it and forcing him to go and get a completely new one which also meant he had to go get the dam autographs from Genji. he ultimately decided to go get the other autograph as a sort of apology for getting it destroyed and the kid accepted it hook line and sinker forgetting about his old book almost completely. but that brought the matter of what he was doing in his home base. The kid explained that he and a few friends of his were also using that base for a hideout but he was surprised to learn that it was so that the group could look at porn mags? They seemed pretty young but he guessed they were at the age of curiosity so he just handed them over and told the kid and his friends to get lost and the kid took the magazine and quickly left.

5th-9th day- after the invasion: Garou had received another surprise visitor this one was a monster actually this one was some type of demonic talking sunflower, they once again asked him to join the monster association and again he denied it and told the monster to get lost before he killed it and that was that soon after thins settled for just a moment but that fat ugly kid had come back to him crying about something and despite what he should have done he allowed the boy to enter, his problem was fairly basic his friends were bullying him into coming back to the shack to demand the "hobo" himself to leave so that they could enjoy their porn mags in peace which now garou had wished he had ripped them up, but obviously the kid didn't want to do it so garou questioned why he allowed them to push him around the boy responded that he was weak and garou replied in kind that he just needed to get strong then but the kid took it the wrong way as he appenrtly took that as garou offering to teach him how to fight and given garou's bordemon he allowed it at least for the moment on the contion that the kid bring him food for his troubles, what's the worst that could happen?

Time for a team-up: HA heroes

Death Gatling had his work cut out for him at the moment he was successfully able to backtrack with the wounded garou to where his hideout was most likely located given that the man didn't attack him he had assumed that he was either too injure to fight or that he was not considered worthy of being hunted which was bullshit as he heard that he has been taking out other A-class heroes as well including spring mustachio and golden ball, he thought bitterly. at first, he thought this supposed hero hunter wasn't much of anything special just some criminal that disliked heroes but after hearing that he wanted to be called a monster instead so now he was just some random lunatic on the loose when he heard that the guy was able to take down tank top master and his squad well that was when he started to get interested in the man. he had immediately shot up on his radar and he started to do research into what the guy was about obviously his time was derailed not only by the girl drive knight had him train under but also by the monster invasion but now he had a location or at the least a general area of where he needed to search from now he just needed to research what garou was about and how to best go about taking him down, bounties could be brought in dead or alive and while he preferred to just kill criminal scum to end them once and for all this was a special case from his research he found that the supposed hero hunter was the former disciple of silver fang himself and out of all the S-class heroes he had a problem with bang was the least of them and he was guessing that the man wanted to deal with the problem himself before things escalated what other reason would there be for the hero association to cover it up.

when he was first told by blue fire that the hero association had covered up what had transpired on that fateful day in the hero association HQ he was for a moment angry as it was once again the hero associate playing favorite to their precious S-class heroes while leaving the others behind but he realized that wasn't quite the right thing to say about it all, they gave the A-class hero the credit and they hid the truth mostly to cover for themselves, what was a cover was that they had started to call the hero hunter a monster instead of a human. that was undeniably for the safety of their S-class heroes when tank top master was hunted they likely didn't want the public to realize that there were likely people out there that were stronger than their S-class heroes as that would undermine the pedestal they put them on in terms of world safety but that also may have not been all their motivations.

their passion project with those criminals, the rated heroes what a shit show that turned out to be several A-class heroes reported that they had turned on them during the monster attack and ran off somewhere almost all of them except one of them, hmph well that was criminals for you, they should have just taken garou as a warning to just stop the project cold but that wasn't any of his business. having satisfied himself enough that he had done a thorough enough investigation on the target it now left him with two more things to do, the first of which was to confirm that he was actually where he thought he was while he had followed him enough to know that he was in the great forest of S-city he didn't know exactly where in that forest he would be located, he deemed it too risky to follow him into the forest by himself just in case it was a trap and he knew that he was following him there were many places where he could lose track of the hunter and he could get the drop on him even in his wounded state he would have proven difficult to handle especially if the battle turns into close quarters, he was no slouch in hand to hand combat but he would be no match against a suppose master with "anti-human'' martial arts or whatever tank top master had called it.

So he let himself be requested to S-city as much as he could just in the hope that he could catch a glimpse of garou leaving the wooded area again, there was a chance that he could live on the land, and in that case, he could reside in there forever until he was ready to emerge again and as painful it was to admit if that were to happen to someone like himself he would be untouchable while he dislikes the treatment of the S-class heroes got in comparison to everyone else there was one thing he couldn't deny which were their strength they were monster in human form and garou was the student of said monsters which likely meant he was a monster in of himself which was proven when he beat two them, although, in metal bat's case, it could be argued that he was distracted by elder centipede attacking the city.

So he cased the surroundings of the forest while pulling some connections with the police when he could watch over it when he couldn't just for a chance to confirm his theory and thankfully his thoughts were correct, garou had emerged for the third day and had retreated into the forest when he had done whatever he needed to do, he had ordered the police if a possible sighting don't engage him and he had used his highest ranking hero in the city authority to purposely steer all the other heroes away from that area of the city in hopes of the perceived lack of heroes would lead him into a false sense of security. now that he confirmed the garou is indeed living in the forest now all he needed to do is narrow down where without the hunter getting suspicious but this problem mysteriously resolved itself in the form of a kid that had for the last four days constantly visited the forest but the mysterious part was that he would always have fast food but the amount was way too large for just a single kid to eat on his own which meant he was sharing it with someone inside the forest, the general public usually seldom looked at the hero bounty boards so people were likely ignorant to criminal that may be among them while this could be seen as a major flaw and criminal like that should be blared around on wanted posters and news articles it also had it upsides criminals were more brazen in their movement walking through the street without a care in the world which allowed the heroes an easier time in locating them.

Death Gatling had to be a bit more cautious with handling the kid, he didn't know his relation to the hunter if they were related in the first place but if the kid felt sympathetic to him he could tip him off for him to scram so he had to play it cool and slow, he didn't need to earn the boys trust or anything like that no that would take to much time so instead, he created an elaborate plot for the boy to show him where he was going with the food by purposely roughly bumping into him making him spill it all on the floor and offering him buy him some more and help carry it to his destination as a concerned hero worrying about a small boy entering into the forest alone, while the kid didn't care much for the protection part he did take him up on his offer of paying for another meal and that his "uncle" had been draining his allowance for the past two days. he spoke more of this uncle as the two of them walked through the woods even when the boy insisted that he could carry the food himself death Gatling insisted that he didn't want the boy to get swarmed or attacked by some animal due to the smell which the boy relented after a moment and there he found a hut in the center of a clearing in the trees it looked almost abandoned with how run down it was but it was secluded enough for a base of operation, upon seeing it death Gatling gave the kid the food and bidding him farewell, now everything was in place, while the kid didn't mention the name garou during their talks this uncle wasn't his real uncle and he was teaching him how to defend himself while he healed up from his injuries supposedly, ignoring the hypocrisy of garou teaching someone how to defend themselves when he attacked others for a hobby he had found his prize now he just needed a team to bring him down.

Garou was still recovering from his injuries but he still had an S-class level bounty and had defeated two S-class heroes and survived an encounter with watchdog man as an enemy so he likely wouldn't be a pushover even with his injuries. any logical person he talked to about this would likely immediately suggest that he should simply tell an S-class hero and have them take care of it but no he wanted this to be handled by the A-class. it would be them that took down garou, not the other way around. so he immediately went to the three top rank A-class heroes that would likely want revenge against garou given what he did to them but he was surprised when all three of them stuck him up, blue fire gesture to his hand, and remarked that he didn't want his other arm to be cut off, magic man remarked the garou wasn't something the A-class was capable of defeating no matter how many of them gathered, while heavy tank loincloth was just flat out scared when the hunter was mentioned clutching his arm uneasily.

the negative reaction was completely unexpected but he still had other options, he asked stinger, air, and one shotter, and while stinger agreed wholeheartedly he was always eager to find a way to show off and improve the rating the other two declined but did not for a lack of not wanting to be apart they had wanted to participate but air had association business to take care of and one shotter had to deal with the girl, which made sense having both of them disappear would probably seem suspicious especially since the girl started to take to firearms much better than she did previously even killing some monsters if the situation forced her hand but she and the rest of them were to unknown and unreliable to include in this hunt on top of those rumors that they and hero hunter had some sort of deal with each other.

the next A-class heroes he asked about it was Smile man and Chain-n-toad, they were lower ranked but they could still prove useful and after that, he went lower down into the B-ranks, he would likely suspect someone to question why four A-class heroes would be going towards a single city instead of spreading out like they were so to avoid suspicion he used B-ranks to fill the rest of his squad. the first B-class he talked to was the rank 2 eyelashes but he had declined his call message stating that he needed all of the blizzard bunch were all on penance duty for Fubuki but he did give him a recommendation in the form of glasses and he took the guys advice the man didn't look like much but he had been climbing up through B-class at a rapid rate so he could be worth something, the next person on his list was a rather obvious pick it was wild horn he was the most durable B-class thanks to his armor and his armored piston packed quite a punch as well if it was able to land. the last two spots on his roster were shooter and gun gun, two ranged fighters while shooter was near the bottom his poison arrows would likely work wonders on their target whose only reliable way of attacking was hand to hand, being able to suppress garou with a range would be important keeping him suppressed for the next attack it was the limitation of his weapon he couldn't do things like that without drastic circumstances and his rate of fire was just to fast for it to be sustainable like their weapons were suited to, yes the eight of them should be able to take care of a wounded garou with the proper planning that was he wanted this operation to be completely successful so they would need to run some drills first but this was it garou reign of terror ends in two days.

were nearing the end of the story, I have just started the Hero association counter-attack a couple of days ago, I'm going to try and make it another Five part section similar to The Storm but this will simply be titled "The War", Keep a look out on the 22nd for another MAJOR voting process, this time revolving around next potential story I'm to write!
