While Luz went to Viney's to get her tooth stuck in, Lilith sat on the couch of the Owl House with her hands in her face. The Owl House was still a tad dilapidated from the Covens raiding it but they did manage to get some furniture and miscellaneous items that were needed.

"I am a terrible Aunt!" Lilith cried. "If I backhand my niece, imagine what else I can do."

King was standing next to her and patting her back gently. "Come on Lilith. You didn't do anything awful. Luz is fine. She's just happy that you're okay."

"I don't know." Lilith grabbed ahold of her stomach. "I feel like…." She gagged and threw out a pellet from her mouth.

It landed on the floor and it opened up to reveal Tinella Nosa looking traumatised. King jumped off the couch and walked toward her.

"Are you alright?" King asked the demon.

Tinella stared at the ceiling with a traumatised look on her face. "I have seen things I wish to forget. Twamatising things!"

A knock was heard on the door of the Owl House. Eda walked through the living area, casually stepping over Tinella like she was a part of the house. "Hey Tinella. Who's at the door Hooty?"

Hooty jumped from behind the couch. "I'm not part of the door, remember?"

Eda snapped her fingers. "Oh yeah, portal door." She walked towards the door and carefully opened it as to not activate the portal to the Human Realm.

After the defeat of Belos, they managed to finally figure out how to make a portal by using a bit of King's blood and some files thought to be lost. They stuck it to the Owl House as a test subject but eventually warmed up to the door to the Human Realm being where Luz's second home was. Though, there were times Eda accidentally walked into the Human Realm after a night of drinking apple blood with Raine.

The door opened to reveal Amity, Hunter, Willow and Gus giving Eda some smiles. "Kids? What are you doing here?"

"We wish to know about Christmas." Amity replied.

Eda seemed surprised. "Christmas?"

"Yeah, what is it?" Willow asked. "Is it a feast?"

"A get together?" Amity asked.

"A party?" Hunter asked.

"A declaration of war?!" Gus exclaimed.

Eda raised her hands. "Kids! Kids! What inspired you to learn about Christmas?"

Amity sighed. "We feel like we should be doing something for Luz and Camila. And after she mentioned an annual Christmas dance at her school, we just wanted to learn some things about it so we could bring it here."

"And since you are the Human Realm expert, we thought you might know some things." Willow said.

Eda grinned. "Human Realm expert is a title I have held until Luz showed up but thanks for the acknowledgment." She flicked her hair. "Now if you excuse me…" She took off her hook hand and placed it on the coffee table. "…Talking about Christmas fills me so I'm gonna need two apple bloods."

"Do you really need them or do you just feel like drinking two apple bloods?" King asked.

Eda ruffled her son's head. "King, you know your Mama, she wants apple blood."

A couple of apple bloods later, Eda was sitting on the couch with the Hexsquad sitting cross legged like a bunch of kids waiting for a bedtime story.

"Christmas! Christmas, Christmas, Christmas." Eda patted her knees. "Where do we begin? Let's see, every year around a month called December humans like to celebrate a holiday known as Christmas around the 25th with the Eve commencing on the 24th."

Amity and Hunter were already making notes on their notebooks. "Okay. Okay." Amity and Hunter said.

"But I'm not so sure if it's December. Because I see stuff around October and November." Eda remarked.

"But Halloween is in October." Willow pointed out.

"Well, I'm starting to think that humans don't like Halloween anymore." Eda said. "Anyway, there's this legend every December, for kids of course known as Santa Clause. Or Saint Nick. Or Father Christmas. He's a jolly man dressed in red, big white beard, black boots and fearsome claws. He has elves as his servants that he keeps in his factories forcing them to make gifts against their will. He flies around in his magical sleigh pulled by deers made from the rain. There's even one who's so famous he got his own Christmas song. Yeah, poor deer. He's got a glowing red nose."

"Oh my Titan." Willow held her heart. "The poor deer."

"But what does this Santa Clause do?" Amity asked.

"And what does he do with these gifts?" Hunter asked in fear.

"Well, every year he flies around the world breaking into people's houses through their chimneys. But if you don't have a chimney, he uses a magical key to break into your home or walk through the walls." Eda explained. "And if you don't offer him a sacrifice of your milk and cookies and carrots for his deer, he won't give you any of your gifts and put coal in your socks. Or he does it if you end up on his naughty list."

"How does he know?!" Gus asked in fear.

"Simple, some old song tells the frightened humans that he watches you when you're sleeping and he watches you when you're awake." Eda explained. "And he knows if you've been bad or good."

The kids looked alarm. "So this Santa's a pervert?" Willow asked.

Gus began looking around the room in fear. "Don't watch me Santa! I assure you I've been good!" He held on to Hunter's head. "Don't put coal in my socks I beg of you!"

Eda raised her hands. "Calm down! He isn't real! People make him up just to scare their kids to be well behaved."

Gus wiped the sweat coming from his brow. "That's a relief."

"Okay, humans like to celebrate Christmas by hanging decorations." Eda continued. "They like to chop down their trees and put them beside the fireplace. They hang a ton of decorations around the house and not just on trees. They hang things such as tinsels, baubles, soldiers made out of nutcrackers and they hang this one decoration where the action of shooting toes from their missiles evokes a couple to share a kiss." The Hexsquad gave confused looks, wondering how an act of violence is meant to evoke loving affection. "They also like to steal stars from their skies and put them on the top of their trees."

"How?" Amity asked.

"I don't know." Eda shrugged her shoulders.

"Do they have feasts?" Tinella's sudden question caused everyone to be startled.

"I forgot she was here." Willow said.

"Shouldn't you be leaving?" Eda asked.

"My joints still feel bwoken." Tinella replied.

"And yes, people from the Human Realm do have feasts." Eda replied. "They stuff like carrots, broccoli, sprouts, something called stuffing and they eat their own kind."

"What?!" Everyone exclaimed.

"Yup. They like to eat people from Turkey." Eda replied. "It's barbaric but it's tradition. And for desserts, they like to set their puddings on fire, have pies made out of mints and they like make houses from bread and the hair of their gingered kind. They even make a little person out of them as well."

"Uh…" Amity looked concerned.

"Wow, humans eat a lot of freakish things." Gus remarked.

"Eda, I'm pretty sure that most of the dishes you listed are untrue." Amity said. "Because remember, we have lived in the Human Realm for months."

"Yeah, they don't eat their own." Willow said. "Turkey is actually a type of bird."

"And a gingerbread person is a cookie." Gus' face lit up. "Gingerbread houses?! They make houses out of cookies." Gus then began to picture himself living in a house entirely made out of cookies. He imagined eating the door as soon as he entered, then the couch, then the fireplace and even his own bed. "Mmmm. It'll b good for me and bad for me."

"Gus, living off of entirely your cookie house is a bad idea." Hunter said.

"Doesn't mean I can't dream about it." Gus retorted.

"They also like to listen to songs based off of Christmas and watch movies as well." She reached into her fanny pack to pull out a DVD. "This here is the best Christmas movie of all time….Die Difficulty!" The box cover showed a man standing beside a burning building while looking tough and mean. "Best Christmas movie of all time. A feel good romp."

"That doesn't look feel good." Amity remarked.

Eda blew a raspberry. "What do you know about feel good? Bryce Wallace is a national treasure."

"Is there anything else?" Hunter asked. "You sure Christmas is about some guy who flies around breaking into people's homes and giving them gifts?"

"That's my version anyway." Eda replied. "But Christmas is also about exchanging gifts with one another. A special someone for example. Like a parent, a best friend, someone who you have the hots for…" Hunter briefly glanced at Willow and blushed. "…Or someone you love to death that not having them a gift from you will forever torment you and haunt you until your demise. So whoever that person is, make sure they get that gift so that way they won't be disappointed." Amity looked down on the floor, fearing for her relationship with Luz and worrying that not getting her a gift will forever upset her.

Later, the Hexsquad were walking out of the Owl House still thinking about the info dump they received from Eda. "Well, that was intense." Gus remarked.

"Yeah. Who knew humans could come up with such weird stuff." Willow said. "I mean, that whole missile toe thing. Why do people need to kiss when someone shoots a some toes from the missiles. Like, is it a law that you need to kiss someone."

Hunter blushed at the idea of kissing Willow with this missile toe. "I mean….I like the cookie house thing."

"You sure you want to do this, Amity?" Willow asked. "I don't even know what Christmas is."

Amity pulled a determined look. "Guys, Luz was willing to help all of us even if she didn't understand our way of living. Willow; The Grudgeby match, she didn't understand it but we ended up owning Boscha before she snatched the Rusty Smidge. Gus; She never understood the rules of Hexside but she still helped you show her off to your HAS team before she almost ended up in the detention pit. Hunter; She never understood why you wanted to be with Belos but she helped you be the awesome friend you are today."

"And Flyer Derby's star player." Willow places her hand on his shoulder, causing him to blush.

"And as for me…" Amity began to reminisce about how happy Luz made her and how everything improved for her when she arrived. "…If Luz never showed up in my life, then I don't know where I will be. I wouldn't be trying to make amends, stand up to my mother, have a better relationship with Ed and Em, improving my relationship with my Dad and helping me be the person I'm supposed to be." She held her heart. "I owe her so much for what I am today. So let's figure out what to do with this Christmas thing!"

"Yeah!" Everyone cheered.

"Do you think I should live in a house made from cookies?" Gus asked.

"Enough with the cookie house, Gus." Amity sighed. "It's never going to work."
