The next morning Rory was walking in the hallway of the Aquabase. She walked into her Dad's office where she noticed he was acting weird. "Dad are you okay?" She asked noticing he was pacing. "Dad?" She needed to tell him about the person she saw the night before.

"Sorry sweetheart" He told her as he stopping pacing. "Rory what's wrong?"

She was about to speak when the screen caught his eye. Rory watched as the rangers had their v-lancers aimed at the evil ranger. "Hold your fire!" Her Dad yelled into his headset causing her to jump back. "Don't fire!"

"Daddy? what's wrong?" Rory begged of him. "Who is he?"

"Rory go to your room" He barked rushing out of the office. Rory stood there confused and slowly followed him. She came to a stop behind Joel but she wasn't noticed.

"Sir we had him!" Carter yelled.

"This was our chance! Maybe our only chance!" Kelsey yelled agreeing with Carter.

Carter stepped closer. "Sir why did you stop us?" His voice softer.

Captain Mitchell turned around. "Because he's my son, i couldn't let you destroy my son!". Everyone went silent. Rory backed up slowly. She turned on her heels and ran to the lift. She made it to the surface and paddled her bike away from the base.

"But Father Ryan died in a car accident" Dana spoke in anger at her Father.

He turned his back. "No Dana he didn't. We were on the way back from visiting your Grandmother. You three were in the backseat. You two were playing with the toys she had given you. Rory was asleep. There was this terrible storm. Rory woke up and began to cry so i only looked back for a second i didn't see the truck coming. We went over the cliff. Ryan held onto my leg. You were around my neck while Rory was thrown in her carseat into a ditch. Ryan was slipping then Diabolico appeared so as Ryan fell i begged him to save his life but it came at a price that he keep Ryan until he was 20"

"And today is his 20th Birthday" Dana finished. "Father Rory needs to know".

Captain Mitchell nodded slowly. "I'll tell her"

Rory paddled her bike in no direction. Her eyes streaming with tears of sadness and anger. How could her Father hide her brother?. Rory slammed her bike down as she sat under a tree in the park. "I need to find him". She hopped back on her bike.

"Carter have you seen Rory she is not here in her room?"

"No sir i haven't not since early this morning" Carter answered.

"I will go look" He told Carter. They didn't notice Dana slip away.

Captain Mitchell walked to his daughter's room and walked inside. His heart dropped as she wasn't there. He ran out without a word and left the base.

"Carter have you seen Captain Mitchell?" Miss Fairweather asked the red ranger.

"No he was going to check on Rory, he's not in the base?"

She shook her head. "No but his keycard has been swiped"

"Thats not like him". Carter turned to face his friend. "Wait where's Dana?" They ran to where the rover was just in time to see Dana leaving the base.

"Dana!" Kelsey cried but Dana was gone. "We have to go after her!". Carter gestured for them to follow him to the other lift to the top.

The titanium ranger was walking around Mariner Bay shooting at everything in sight. He went to shoot at a man but Dana delfected it.

"its you!" He growled. "After all these years i finally get to pay you back sister" Dana rushed at him.

Ryan pinned her as she was forced to her knees. "No brother of mine could ever be as evil as you"

"He would be if his Father let him fall to save you and that other brat!" He replied kicked her into her back.

"Ryan Father loved you. You wanted to grow up and be a fireman just like him" She put her weapon away. "Ryan Father didn't let you fall, he had not other choice"

"But you survived that night on the cliff"

"But its over, don't you remember anything?" She pleaded grabbing his arm.

"STOP!" They both turned to see Rory. "Please stop!

"Rpry run!" Dana yelled but it was too later Ryan fired from his axe causing her to fall to the ground. "No!"

Ryan punched Dana to the ground and ran off. Rory sobbed in pain as her knee was bleeding heavily.

"Dana!" Joel yelled running over as Carter went to Rory. "Are you alright?"

"Yeah but i have to go after him" Dana told him as she powered down. "Rory!" Dana ran over and knelt down in front of her. "What were you thinking?!"

"I just wanted to help" She croaked out. "I'm sorry"

"Its okay" Dana's voice softer as she bandaged the bleeding knee.

"Dana, your Dad isn't at the base but we think we know where he went" Chad informed her as he lifted Rory into the rover.

Ryan ran and demorphed. He panted as he walked to the edge. The image of the young girl still in his head.

"You don't remember do you?" Captain Mitchell spoke as he walked up to him.

"I don't need to remember i've been told, you ddn't care what happened to me" Ryan seethed.

"Ryan that's not true. Please Ryan think back. There was a terrible storm. We went over the cliff".

"Stop it! your lying!"

"Listen to me!" His Father pleased. "We went over the cliff. Rory's car seat landed in the ditch up there. You were hanging on to my leg."

"No you only cared about them! you let me fall!" Ryan yelled as he charged throwing them both over the cliff. Captain Mitchell yelled as he grabbed the same root from thos years ago.

"Hold on Ryan! Please hold on!"

Ryan blinked his mind going back to that night. He could hear Rory screaming above them. His Father pleading with Diabolico. He climbed up gripping the other side of the tree. "I remember"

"Its gonna break!" Ryan yelled as the root began to let go.

"Its not going to hold the both of us. Goodbye Ryan" Captain Mitchell let go.

"No!" Ryan kicked from the cliff and caught his Father as they tumbled and rolled to the ground at the bottom. Ryan slowly got up. He turned as the rangers ran. He went to turn and run.

Captain Mitchell smiled as Carter had Rory on his back. "Ryan please i would give my life over and over if it mean saving yours. After all these years i can't lose you again, your my son"

Rory watched as Ryan slowly approached her as she hung to Carter's lightly grazed her knee with his knuckles. "I love you" She whispered. Ryan couldn't meet her eyes as he ran up the side of the cliff.

They ranger drove back to the Aquabase in silence. Once they got back Rory went and got her knee looked at. Once she got the all clear she went up to the lagoon. "Hey girl" She greeted as Crescent popped her head up letting out a squeal. "Where's Titan huh?" As if on queue the other killer whale appeared. "Hey boy".

Both whales opened their mouths so she threw some fish to feed them. "I wish you guys could talk. I found out today my brother is alive. I guess he doesn't love us because he left. Why do i always feel like i do something wrong?. Maybe if i wasn't born then Dad would have his two kids. That he wouldn't have had to come get me at Grandma's that night. No one wants to be around me"

Unknown to her Ryan stayed far away but close enough to hear her. He watched as she got up and went down to the inside of the base.

"Rory" Dana waved over. "What time is your game?"

"Why?"

"Because we want to be there" Joel told her tipping his hat.

"I gave my jersey back so i am not playing tonight Riley is though" She told him grabbing an apple. "I am going to go meet Riley before the game"

As she left everyone looked at each other. "She really is not playing is she?". Carter spoke sadly. "I wish there was something we could do"

"There is" Captain Mitchell spoke as he entered the kitchen. "I spoke to her coach and since he is a good friend of mine i explained her situation to him. He understood and if she changes her mind she can have her spot back".

Everyone smiled but prayed she would re join the team. The rangers looked up as the alarms went off. They looked at the screen to see all these feathers floating around. "Go!" Captain Mitchell ordered them.

Rory and Riley walked into the school. Rory stopped causing Riley to stop and turn. "Rory please stay. Hey Coach Matthew".

"Hey can i speak to you for a moment?" He asked of her. She nodded as Riley went to warm up. Rory sat next to him on the bleachers. "Rory i spoke to your Dad. He told me of your situation. I understand and i know how hard its been for you but i never filled your spot so if you want you can come back to the team".

Rory looked up at her coach who had her jersey in his hand. "Really?"

"Yeah"

She took the jersey. "Thank you Coach". She looked as her team ran out to celebrate. They were listening. They pulled her into the locker room.

The five lightspeed rangers groaned as the feathers exploded sending them into a building.

"Funny what a few feathers can do" The monster taunted. Carter put his arms up to block the strike but it never came.

"Ryan?" Kelsey spoke as Ryan stodd up in front of them.

Ryan morphed and fought the three of them off. Once it was clear. Dana ran up to her big brother and wrapped her arms around him. "I hope you never leave again".

"I won't little sister. I'm exactly where i supposed to be" He told her.

"Come on we have a basketball game to get to" Joel urged them. Dana pulled her brother out to the rover.

"Do you think she agreed?" Dana asked Carter.

"I hope so"

"What happened?" Ryan asked in confusion as Carter rushed to the school. "Dana?"

"Rpry quit the basketball team after the rangers were formed. Earlier today Dad told us that her coach was willing to take her back due to the situation so we hope she agrees" Dana explained.

Carter put the rover in park as they arrived at the school and ran inside. The ran to the row next to the back wall. "Dad!" Dana greeted. "Is she here?" They looked around as the announcer was introducing.

"Mariner Bay Tigers i would like to introduce to you, Number 14 and your Captain Rory Mitchell!"

Everyone in the gym cheered as she ran out onto the court . Rory glanced around. Her heart filled with joy and her family along with her brother. She felt the tension go out of her body. It was opening night. She didn't see Tommy Oliver standing alone in the far corner.

As the game went on they had 20 seconds left. They need to make the basket to win. Riley got the ball and dribbled up the court. She passed it to her teammate Lexi who twirled away from the opposing team. "Lexi shoot!" Rpry yelled.

"I can't!" Lexi threw the ball towards Rory who skidded and almost lost it. Rory looked up as she began to go up the court. It was then she locked eyes with Tommy. Rory could feel the sweat, the pressure. "Rory shoot!" Lexi yelled.

The gym went quiet at the ball left her hands as the clock counted down. As the clock hit zero the ball bounced off the rim and sunk into the net.

Rory sank to her knees as the crowd cheered. She joined her teammates at the center of the court. Rory squealed as she was spun around from behind. "You did great kiddo". Carter cheered.

"Thanks" She hugged everyone. Her eyes went to her big brother who was walking out of the gym. Her eyes went to Tommy. "I'll be right back."

"Hurry Carter offered to buy us all ice cream" Dana told her as they walked out.

Rory grabbed her bag and walked over to Tommy as he pulled his jacket on. "How did you know my game was today?"

"I was in the area. Your Dad called.I was hoping you wouldn't see me" Tommy told her sadly. "You did great".

"Off course i did. I had my family here".

Tommy winced. "Rory..."

"Don't" She cut hit off. "Tommy we haven't been close in years. I fnally have a ranger family that accepts me. I thought we would always have that the only difference is the rangers in my life don't hide things unlike someone i know so just leave"

"I'll go, stay safe alright". He whispered as he left the gym.

"Hey Rory you coming?" Riley shouted as she was leaving.

"Yeah i have to run to the pool though. I must have forgot my jacket in my locker the other ran upstairs and entered the pool area. As she knelt down a wave of fear entered her as she noticed feathers surrounding the pool area.

BOOM!

Rory cried out as she was forced back into the into the wall. She hit her head and rolled into the pool. She floated to the bottom of the pool as debris crashed in the surface pinning her to the bottom,

"Did you guys hear that?" Kelsey asked head a noise as they were joking around. "I heard something".

"Uh guys" Joel interupted. "There is smoke up there" Pointed to the second floor. Ryan and Dana shared a look.

"Rory!"
