"It seems you surprise me yet again, human. To be able to cling onto hope, to stave off the inevitable. All people at one point have to feel exasperated, despair. You can't be happy forever." That was the relationship between Haruto Soma and his inner Phantom Dragon. Born from his despair, which he managed to hold back and tame his Phantom.
"I won't let it. Not while I still have a lot of work to do." And he did. He had to fight the Phantoms that are trying to create more of themselves. Which contributes to more people dying giving birth to them. And he couldn't let that happen. "And you are allowing me to tap into more of your power."
"I did, but only because you amuse me. But don't expect any favors. I work with you, but I don't have to like it." Dragon said.
"I don't either since you are very keen on killing me and no telling what you do when you're unleashed upon the world." Haruto reminded Dragon.
"Oh, I don't care about the other people. I don't have a liking for the human meatbags but they can go on with their sad pathetic little lives as much as I care, I derive no pleasure from tormenting them since it is too easy and kind of low, like trying to burn ants with a magnifying glass. I only seek you giving into despair and dying because I'm stuck inside you." Dragon noted.
"Well I didn't know I'd birth a Phantom but I don't want to die, so that makes both of us." Haruto said.
"You seem to make light of my situation." Dragon groaned.
"You seem to make light of my possible death being needed to get you out." Haruto said.
"Ok, true…you are speaking from self-preservation and the preservation of those closest to you, but you don't have an inkling about what the life of a Phantom is like." Dragon growled.
"Enlighten me." Haruto asked.
"Us Phantoms are not born in the normal way you know, we don't have family. We are born from the despair of our hosts staring out as mere figments, a mindless being running on instinct. We are just being thrown into life without knowing what is going on so suddenly that lashing out in fear and confusion is all we can do. So we tear down an Underworld as a result. And we are born anew. A human form, and memories. But these are not our own, they are our host's. From our host's memories we get an idea about life and how to act, and are no longer mindless, but the memories and face given are not our own, it's not our life. it's a life we stole because we didn't know better, because fate is cruel and we are born the way we are.
And even if we try to blend in, trying to be the person we killed to whole, we're not them. We know it and eventually the host's friends, family and acquiantances will know it. They will either lash out and drive us off, or they will try to make us more like our host. And despite looking like them and having their memories...we are not them. We know it and it hurts you know, being a shadow of someone else. Of course some of us are assholes regardless and I get why you would need to destroy them, Wizard. But most of us weren't given a chance to be our own. SO yeah, a lot of us joined Wiseman. You know why? Because he promised them a home, a place to belong. They do horrible things for sure but for a chance to be our own being, to find a place in this world…in a moment of weakness, what would you have done?"
And the only other way to gain a sense of awareness is if our host overcomes thier despair, but isn't much better. We can now think and speak then but we are trapped inside of them. A bird in a cage and forced to be a familiar spirit or something. And they can't let us out because again without despairing, which they won't because it would destroy them. So picking our poison, killing and stealing the face of a host or imprisonment...It is like we are created to be miserable and a creator deity is probably sadistically laughing at us. So is it a wonder why any of us Phantoms turned out like we did?" Dragon said.
Haruto admitted he was taken aback. He won't excuse the actions of the Phantoms he destroyed because it was in defense of innocents and they made a choice. But the fact they had to live like that, either be a parasite or a changeling because that's how they are…it is admittingly a bit sad. "I'm sorry." Is all he could say.
"I can forgive you for that, as neither of us asked for this but try to make the best of it." Dragon said. "It doesn't mean that I would take a chance for any freedom I can get. And if you are collateral…no offense, nothing personal." Dragon sighed.
"There has to be a way to help you? Getting you your freedom without me dying?" Haruto said.
"I know this whole hope bullshit is kind of your thing but you are sounding a bit too hopeful now." Dragon groaned.
"Chimera was able to be extracted from somewhere and put into a belt. And Phantoms are born from a host. Someone figured out to extract a Phantom. Maybe it can be done again." Haruto noted.
"One, no one knows how the creator of that Beast Belt did it, and a lot of the research is lost to time. We aren't even sure Phantom's Gate survived it and it didn't leave Chimera undamaged. Why do you think he needs to consume the mana of others? He can no longer properly produce his own." Dragon reminded him.
"Ok, there are still a few steps in between to figure out. But maybe the progress can be figured out again, it can be improved? Developments in technology happen all the time so in terms of magic too? And how many times have previous Kamen Riders or other heroes like the Super Sentai done the impossible?" Haruto pointed out.
"Even if I were to admit you have a point and willing to humor you…why would you do that for me?" Dragon asked.
"Because I vowed to inspire hope in everyone, and protect said people's hopes. That includes you." Haruto pointed out.
Dragon blinked for a bit as he looked in the eyes of Haruto. "By Hecate, you are serious." He groaned. "And the worst is that you have a point in regards of goody two shoes like you having defied the odds." He sighed deeply. "So you want me to trust you in this?"
"Yes. I mean, we are connected, we literally need each other. You can't live if I die at any hand but yours and I need the magic I get from you to save people. So we trust isn't supposed to be an issue between us." Haruto pointed out.
"I hate it when you're right. But even if we manage to get us separated without harm to either of us, where will that leave us?" Dragon asked.
"Well, you're free to do what you want. You can go explore the world. I will not intervene. Unless you plan on killing or hurting people, then I'll fight you." Haruto noted.
"Well…I doubt you'll figure something out. But you are genuine, I can tell. I guess I can learn to tolerate you some more. While I am unsure if you'll manage, I appreciate that you'll try. And maybe it is funny to see you try." Dragon responded.
"You're giving tsundere vibes, Dragon." Haruto noted.
"I'm not tsundere, you…" Dragon growled.
"Baka?" Haruto joked.
"I hate you." Dragon groaned.

"So, how do you feel?" That was the question that was asked to both Dragon and Haruto. It happened some time after the adventure where they fought alongside Gaim against Bujin Gaim in the other world with the Bujin Riders.
"Like I'm a bit low of mana, but that eating and resting well would fix it like always. Like after an intense fight or when I gave mana to…" Haruto sighed as Koyomi was still on his mind.
"Well at least I'm not stuck with your dopy face, and I have my own." A guy with rid fiery hair, looking muscular and thuggish. He had a red jacket with a dragon imprint on the back. It was sleeveless, showing off dragon tattooes on both his arms. He also didn't wear a shirt underneat, showing his abs. He had jeans and combat boots too. He had reptilian eyes and sharp fangs. "I am not sure if this is considered handsome or not for human standards, but at least it's my own."
"How do you feel, Dragon?" Haruto asked.
"I feel great actually." Dragon said as he flexed for a bit. He turned into his new Phantom form. Instead that of a mechanical dragon…well he was still a mechanical dragon but he was humanoid and looked more like an armored dragon-themed toku hero instead of a monster. "Though I can say I'm a handsome Phantom."
"It wasn't easy but glad we were able to figure it out." Tsubasa Ozu said. He and the other Ozu family members and their allies have been helping Haruto's allies and Section Zero with this problem. "Dragon is able to live his own life. And the Philosopher's Stone insde you made sure you still have magic even if you part ways."
"Ok, other people may not have a Philosopher's Stone inside them but now we know how it works we can fine tune it. It will be able to help more Gates in the future." Urara said as she overlooked the notes.
"Yeah, magic is wonderful and people should be able to use it without having to rely on a gamble with their life every time they give into despair. Maybe we can even improve it so that those whose inner phantoms were destroyed can get a second chance to do magic." Kai Ozu added.
"Oh, so that mean I can get my magic back? I'll be able to become a great wizard like Haruto?" Shunpei ran in, screaming like he had way too much energy like always.
"We can only promise the former." Tsubasa droned.
"I'll take it." Shunpei said, the smile never leaving his face.
"So, this is it? Dragon you are free to go where ever you want. The world is your oyster. Where do you want to go? What do you want to do?" Haruto turned to Dragon.
"I have honestly no idea." Dragon said. "I hadn't thought we'd get this far." He looked pensive for a moment. "You know what, I think I'll stick around for a bit. Until I figure it out. I think life with a Rider is always going to be at least interesting. No shortage of adventure and combat."
"You'd miss me, admit it." Haruto said.
"No, I mean yes…I mean…shut up!" Dragon groaned.
"Admit it, I have grown on you." Haruto continued.
"No, I tried to kill you before. Don't tempt me to do so again." Dragon shot back.
"My wife used to try to kill us too, but now I'm happily married." Houka said. "And we have a precious little dhampir daughter."
"And one of my two wives also used to be part of a Pantheon of gods of the underworld." Kai Ozu added. "But now me, Sphinx and Yuka are a happy throuple."
Dragon blinked and looked at them. "You're all crazy."
"He is not wrong." Houka said.
"So, how about we have a party with our friends to celebrate our freedom." Haruto said. "And my new brother."
"Brother? Hell no! I am taking everything back, I'm out of here!" Dragon said.
"Too late!" Haruto said.
"Hecate damn it!" Dragon groaned.
Xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
"You sure you want to do this, Rinko?" Haruto asked. Haruto's dearest female friend turned wife was applying for the new version of the Phantom Extraction process.
"I haven't been so sure about anything in my life." Rinko said.
"They have improved the process and they are pretty sure it'll work but…it isn't a hundred percent certainty. I don't dare to think about what may happen if…" Haruto said.
"Doesn't have to you, you know? Why not the motormouth? He won't be missed unlike you." Dragon said.
"Dragon, Shunpei is still our friend. I know he's energetic and gets in over his head and he's…" Haruto said.
"Pretty useless." Dragon examined his claws.
"Ok, that may be true but…" Rinko replied. "It isn't me someone else may and while I may not be a Rider, I'm a law enforcer. I put my life above those I swore to protect. This way we'll make sure it works fine so others in the future won't have to take that risk."
"It's why I fell in love with you. You are already the hero without being the Kamen Rider. And I hence can't deny you, because it would go against what you believe in. But damnit I'm still your husband and I'm nervous as Hell." Haruto said.
"Don't worry even if it goes wrong my wife can revive her. She did it for my brother-in-law and father." Houka assured them.
"I'm not sure what my magic will do to a Gate as I never tried that before but in the worst case I can bring her back as a vampire, and one in full control of herself." Vancuria said. "It won't be all bad, us vampires give good love bites."
"They do." Houka said as she bit her lower lip and that grin on her face…Let's not go into that.
"Besides…if this works, I may be able to become a Rider or another magical hero. Because while I am happy working with Section Zero to support you…I'm also worried for you when you are in the actual center of the action risking your life. I want to have your back." Rinko said as she stroked her husband's cheek.
"You already got his back and everything else every night! There is a reason I need earplugs!" Dragon muttered. Rinko shot him a death glare that made him flinch.
"I just got to…remain hopeful that everything works out. Hope is our entire thing, after all." Rinko said with a smile. Haruto merely softly nodded. As Rinko let go of him and sat down on the table she let out a deep breath. "I'm ready."
"Al right, everyone stand back!" Tsubasa said as he used his Magiphone to draw up some spell circles, and some Magic Rings flew up in the air to form a pattern. "I must warn you beforehand, it may prove a little painful."
"I'm used to getting hurt to save people. I'm a policewoman." Rinko said, showing no fear.
Tsubasa and his siblings nodded as they created more complicated spell patterns with the spell seals and the magic rings, which started to gather energy. They floated and gathered above her and bathed her in life. "Now, Haruto!" Tsubasa said as he dialed on more numbers on his MagiPhone. Haruto put on a special ring and scanned it across his belt, before adding his magic to the process.
There was a bright flash of light that obscured it. Rinko's scream sounded through the room for those brief moments. As the light died down, Rinko was lying there, but unconscious. "Rinko?" Haruto immediately rushed at her side. She checked her pulse, she still had one. That was a relief. Haruto's hand glowed as he waved it in front of her, as if to use it for a magical scan. "Oof, she is all right. She just seems tired out from the procedure." He said in relief.
"Good thing, she is the only one among your friend group I like." Dragon noted. "So, where is the Phantom?"
"I don't know, wasn't the ritual able to reconstitute it?" Haruto wondered.
"It's possible there may be a slight…" Tsubasa wanted to say, as Rinko suddenly jerked away, her eyes glowed and a beam of light erupted from her chest. "…delay."
The beam of light shot towards a different spot in the room, and started to form into a solid shape. A phantom formed. Last time Haruto saw it, it was one of his earlier Inner Phantoms. But now she looked different, as she was able to revive and emerge in a more humanoid shape. She was a humanoid dragon not unlike Dragon. She had a singe eye in the middle of her face. Despite being mostly dragon-like she also had insectoid carapace covering parts of her body, most of it her back and tail. She also had a few insect-like legs sticking from her back, which were wrapped around her torso. Two clapsed over her shoulders, four forming a sort of corset, and two more a bit higher to support her impressive breasts. Her tail split at the tip to form two spikes, like a dragon and centipede's tail both.
Rinko seemed to be awake now after that happened, and while still groggy turned to her Phantom, Jabberwock. Haruto looked a bit in awe, and so did mostly everyone else. But Dragon's jaw nearly hit the floor. And he blushed, they never saw the tough and aloof Dragon flustered.
Jabberwock studied her new body. She flexed her fingers, ran her hands across her body to check herself out. And giving her boobs a playful bounce, just out of curiosity. "I'm alive." Jabberwock said in a soft warm tone. She smiled softly and then politely bowed to Haruto and Rinko. "Thank you…for giving me this second chance at life. Despite the trouble I gave you when I…first came into being." Jabberwock said.
"Oh, that's ok." Rinko said. Part of her was still a bit surprised to see it worked and now Jabberwock stood in front of her, she was still letting it sink in.
"I want to be able to repay you. Er…I don't know how yet but I'll be happy to help with whatever you need." Jabberwock said. It was odd to see the Phantom they knew as a mindless destructive monster form Rinko's underworld to be now this beautiful and warm dragoness.
Then she approached Dragon, whom looked even more flustered. "And you…I got some of Rinko's memories. You're Dragon right, nice to meet you. Hope we will get along." She said.
"Oh er…I hope so too…" Dragon stammered. "Hi?" he said as he let out a small wave with his hand. And regretted being so dumb and awkward.
Jabberwock didn't seem to care as she also gave a small wave and said: "Hi!"
"Well Dragon, seems that there is something that can get you flustered." Haruto giggled as Dragon shot him a dirty look. Then Haruto was startled when Rinko locked his ear and shivers went down his spine and he panted heavily. "That was a dirty trick." He said to his wife.
"You never minded when I pulled out the dirty tricks." Rinko Said. Haruto tried to come up with a reply but he only sputtered. "Well, I can tell where Dragon came from."
"So…now we know it works, we can prepare the same treatment for other Gates?" Tsubasa noted.
Shunpei came running into the room, raised his arms and said. "Me next!"

"Whoa, Cyclops, those are some really good Ring you made. Shunpei only made one good ring, the Chuin-pui-pui ring and it was only used once." Shigeru Wajima said.
"Hey, you made it sound so fascinating, oldtimer. And it made me want to do my best." Cyclops, Shunpei's former Inner Phantom said.
"That settles it, you're my new apprentice." Wajima said.
"Whoa, that's a huge honor. I will not disappoint you, Sensei." Cyclops said as he gave a respectful bow.
"What about me?" Shunpei said.
"You're the janitor now." Wajima said as handed a bucket of water and a mop.
Shunpei sighed. "Well, keeping the workshop clean does help Haruto in the long run, right?"

It must be Tuesday as he and his fellow Wizard Riders have to fight another magical threat. Apparently a generic villain (after a while they start to blend together, he already forgot its name) had revived several Phantoms and other magic-themed enemies and now it was another day on the job. It says something that all of this no longer phases him. The time where they had to fight Space Shocker and giant Emperor Psycho was way larger in scale and stakes. They call this event, Haruto calls that a workout.
But oh well, he was a Rider with a job to do. 'Driver On! Shabidoobi! Touch Henshin!' It was the most fun part of the job. The flash transformations and silly phrases…guilty pleasures of him. After all, he is putting up a show. That's why he used the 'Showtime!' Phrase "Flame, Please! Hi-Hi, Hi-Hi-Hi!" When the fiery spell circle engulfed him and formed his suit, it always felt good. It could be a grueling job sometimes, but you got to appreciate the little pleasures sometimes.
"Set Open ! L-I-O-N! Lion!"
"Wonder, Please! Diamond Vorpal!"
"Light, Now!"
"Forge, Now!"
"Druid, Now!"
Rinko, his beloved. She had really settled down in her role as a Rider. Now she was wearing a female version of the Wizard Outfit, only with a dress instead of a longcoat, in blue and white, with the crystalline accents cyan. On her right arm she had knight like armor with the Suit of Diamonds on the pauldron, and wielded a blade looking like an oversized kitchen knife. An actual diamond shaped like the Suit of Diamonds was encrusted in the hilt. Kamen Rider Wonder has arrived. "Let the madness begin."
Kosuke Nitoh of course had turned into Beast. "It's Lunchtime!"
Mayu had long white robes with a hood part of her outfit, holy symbolism adorned her robe, a huge golden holy cross embroidered on her back. She wielded a staff with a sphere and a holy cross put on top and wearing a tippet with more gold embroidered with magical and holy symbols. She was now Kamen Rider Cleric. "I pray for the soul I fear you may not have."
And she wasn't the only one. Yuzuru Ijima had something similar in outfit to Wizard, but a helmet more like Beasts', though the recoloring of darker shades of blue and bluish purple as well as the popped collar made it look more menacing. He also wielded a hammer. It was not a war hammer, it was a smaller hammer appearing more as a tool, one end blunt and another pointy. "I'll forge my destiny today."
Finally Masahiro Yamamoto had a robes and outfit showing shades of green and brown which invokes something about nature. His robes were also decorated with images of plants and nature and he wielded a sickle weapon. "Let's see what I'll mix up today!"
"Wait, weren't most of you supposed to be Kamen Rider Mages? And weren't there five of you?" the villain asked.
"Oh, we upgraded. Felt like we were cheap recolors of each other." Mayu noted.
"And some unique powersets to boot." Yuzuru noted.
"You know what, I don't care. There are six of you and I have an army." Generic Villain said. "Our sheer numbers will counter any of your magic."
"Listen, what's-your-name…" Masahiro noted.
"My name is-" the villain said but was interrupted.
"Yeah, we don't care. You are clearly up to no good, so we are going to cut you down." Rinko noted.
"That's it, I'll overwhelm you all with my Phantom Army, destroy you and break the curse of Forgettability so people will not think that I'm a forgettable villain."
"I don't think that's a curse." Haruto noted.
"GAH!" Generic villain shouted. "I will crush the six of you."
"You shouldn't have skipped on math classes because there ain't six of us." Dragon said as he approached in his human form. He was followed by five more people. One is a woman in a steampunk Alice in Wonderland dress, one of her eyes covered by her hair and a top hat with gears and clocks in it. The second was a pretty girl dressed like a nun. A large man with long shaggy hair and beard that made him look lion-like, with clothes that look like it was patched together from random clothes. Another was a pale man in a dapper suit whom had something unnerving about him. Last was a guy looked like a gardener. He had a balding head and had a long beard where twigs and other plant-matter seemed to have gotten stuck in.
"And whom are you supposed to be?" Generic Villain asked.
"Your worst f***ing nightmares!" Dragon assumed his Phantom form. The steampunk Alice turned to Jabberwocky.
The nun girl turned into Cherubim, Mayu's Inner Phantom. She appeared as a mannequin, floating off the ground. She had no feet as her legs ended in long spikes. She had an extra pair of arms and four wings, but they weren't attached to her body and floated behind her but moved as if they were an extension of herself. A halo-like disc was embedded in the back of her head and she had a blank face, but a golden ring floated around her face at eye-length and it was decorated with eyes.
The patchwork man turned into Chimera whom now also has a humanoid form. The Dolpin Mantle and Buffalo Mantle without the cloaks were his shoulder pads. The left arm with the Dolphin Mantle was covered in fish scales and had a webbed clawed hand. The other had a hand that seems to be part hoof and part claw. The Falco Mantle head was on his shoulder blades from which large red wings sported. The Chameleon Mantle head was on his lower back with his tongue sticking out and acting like a tail.
The dapper man turned into a blue skinned demon. He had curved ram horns, bat wings for ears, spikes sticking out from the side of his head, and his wings resembled a cross between black angel wings and bat wings. He was Abel, Yuzuru's inner phantom.
The Gardener turned into a large creature that was a humanoid tree. He had a beard made of fern. The darker pieces of wood on his body seemed to resemble armor, and form a helmet around his head. He had a second set of arm-like branches which were crossed sternly across his chest. He had several glowing crystalline fruits around his waist, like it was ammo on a soldier. He was Masahiro's inner demon Ent.
"Phantoms? Why are you with them? You should be part of my army! You should obey me." The generic villain said.
"Why should we?" Dragon asked.
"Er…good point." The villain noted.
"Also, you are kind of a meanie." Jabberwock said.
"Also, you revived the Phantoms but they aren't obliged to obey you either." Dragon noted.
"Maybe, but we want to because we hate Wizard and his ilk." Hellhound said, being one of the revived Phantoms.
"You know, there is now a way for Phantoms to exist without killing the host. You don't have to turn people to despair or kill them." Chimera pointed out.
"We don't have to. But we want to. So while we don't like to take orders from…er, forgot his name, we stand by him for now against common enemies." Minotaur noted.
"Well, we tried. You're ripe for the slaughter now." Dragon shrugged.
"Well, twelve isn't that many, we got at least two to one on them. Atta-" Generic villain never had a chance to say something that would have made him memorable as he coughed up his blood. Dragon has closed the gap and buried his hand in his chest. Dragon pulled his hand out and breathed fire in his face from close range, destroying him instantly.
The Phantoms looked on in surprise as Drago wiped the blood of his claws. "Who's next?" The revived Phantom Army didn't last long against the Riders and heroic Phantoms.

The Movie war versions of the Akumaizer were looking at a document that Xatan was holding. They looked worried. "We're being sued?"
"For stealing the name of our group and our looks." Xavitan, the leader of the actual Akumaizer 3 said.
"Aren't you supposed to all be dead?" Gahra asked.
"We got better." Gabra replied. "But you were dead too…"
"Er, yeah how did we come back to life?" Eel asked.
"I don't know, don't care for now. I'm willing to mess with Kamen Riders, I'm not willing to mess with the court system." Xatan groaned.
"Eel, can't you jump back in time?" Gabra asked.
"I can only jump five years forward and back. Which is an odd limitation…"
"Also if you try to jump in time again, we contacted Den-O and the Timerangers." Xavitan said.
"F***!" the Three Movie war Akumaizers groaned.

Kosuke Nitoh looked in the mirror, he had golden eyes and godly white blonde hair now. "I think eating those weird otherworldly fruits wasn't a good idea after all."
"You think?" Chimera said sarcastically. He stood there in a new form. It was modified from the Lion Inves, in the gold and blacks of Beast, but still with Dolphin, Buffa, Chameleon and Falco parts.
"You ate them!" Kosuke said.
"You offered them to me, and I was hungry enough to try!" Chimera said. "Well, at least the Pantheon gave us a good deal."
"Elite enforcers and perhaps future Gaimist god of Archeology, magic and mayonnaise doesn't sound too bad." Nitoh said.
"Please don't tell me you are serious about the mayo thing." Chimera sighed.
"There is a god of wine in Greek myth so why not a mayo god?" Kosuke asked.
"No, don't let that be a thing! Ever!" Chimera argued. He then saw Kosuke pull out a Helheim fruit and put mayonnaise on it. "Seriously?"
Xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
"Are you not done yet?" Haruto asked exasperated as Dragon kept shoving donut after donut in his mouth.
"Nope! I must taste them all, these delicious deep fried dough rings!" Dragon said. "It is amazing, us Phantoms normally don't have a sense of taste. That procedure gave me so many more advantages over my fellow Phantoms."
"I'm always happy to see a customer with a healthy appetite." The Donut Shop Hungry Manager said as he brought another plate. "Can I interest you in our newest creation, the chocolate pudding and shortbread biscuit donut."
"YES!" Dragon took the donuts and inhaled them.
"I'll be stuck with the bill, you know." Haruto groaned.
"Don't care!" Dragon said. "Also, try the pudding donut, it is delightful."
"No thanks, my plain sugar ones fill me up just fine." Haruto said as he munched on his sugar donut.
"That's boring, don't be afraid to try other flavors. Can't say you can never eat plain sugar donuts again but won't it get boring after a while? Try to switch it up." Dragon said.
"Don't tell me how to donut, I don't tell you how to donut." Haruto said.
"You know, that could be a slogan for my business." Manager said as he writes it down.

Haruto and Rinko were in the living room of their home. And so were Dragon and Jabberwock. And both of them were holding a baby.
Haruto and Rinko's daughter, little Koyomi, was happy asleep in her mother's arms. Haruto gently combed his fingers through her small tufts of black hair. "They are truly a blessing are they?"
"They are." Jabberwock held her and Dragon's daughter. She was the first natural born phantom in existence. Didn't come from despair, not from a host. Just love between two individuals. The teal dragon girl was also asleep.
"I feel like destroying everything that could ever harm her." Dragon said. "I mean, destroy more the I already do." His face scrunched up in something uncomfortable. "By Hecate, I'm crying. I never cry…"
"It's ok to do so sometimes. Especially if you're happy or proud." Haruto assured him.
"You know what, Haruto?" Dragon asked. It has been a while since he started to call Haruto by his first name. "You were right. You were able to bring hope to me." He gently ran his taloned fingers across his daughter's head in a comforting way. "You didn't give up and now…I got Jabberwocky…and I have little Tiamat now. And…I'm happy. A being born from despair…knowing joy, hope and all that stuff. I can't believe we got here."
"Nothing is impossible it seems. Told you I was in the line of work where the impossible can happen now." Haruto said with a smile.
"Just don't rub it in." Dragon snarked.
"No promises." Haruto said. "But I'll at least not ruin this moment."
Later that day, the parents put both of their children in their respective crib. Haruto and Rinko had put little Koyomi to bed. And the little sweetheart slept blissfully.
As the lights turned off and she was left alone, something crawled from the shadows. An imp, a small but harmful creature which crawled towards the crib. He would never be able to handle Wizard and his wife. But a little defenseless daughter would be within his capabilities. It would hurt the Riders and would leave them vulnerable. As he crawled closer to the crib, he thought he would have his chance…But then a bright light shone from little Koyomi. It took the shape of a young woman and the imp froze in place. The woman made of light pounced upon the imp, and he was suddenly vaporized, no trail left.
The woman made of light smiled. She petted the sleeping little Koyomi softly. "No worries, I'll watch over you. As I love you, as I love Haruto and Rinko." The voice was that of the original, late Koyomi. She dissolved into particles of light, which entered little Koyomi. Whom kept sleeping blissfully, none the wiser.
NOTES
Just a few ideas and moments I had for kamen Rider Wizard. My first Kamen Rider series. Not the best but I still have a soft spot.
Will I use the same ideas for Rider forms and story in my new reboot? Or will I stick to the old reboot ideas? I don't know yet, but neither of those universes are meant to be the same, maybe I can come up with something wholly new for the new Kivaverse alltogether. That's endless possibilities.
