We were running through the stupid tricky terrain and the damn minions kept falling behind me!

"Hurry it up, slowpokes!" I shouted at them.

"But I'm trying to listen as we move!" Ears complained.

"Whatever! Just keep up!'

"It's always follow the leader with him," grumbled Sugar Man.

"Guy hasn't changed since the Sports Festival," sighed Tape Arms.

"And to think it almost seemed like he was ready to cooperate," Ears muttered. "Hope this works."

We had gained enough ground. Bout time to take surveillance. And they'd be getting close now.

"Stop! They're here!" I shouted. "Ears!"

"I have a name, you know!" she shouted at me.

"They've gotta be close. Find em!"

She plugged her jacks into the ground and sat listening.

"What's the holdup!?" I demanded.

"Hang on - oh, no! They've got us!" she cried.

"Yes, it's all over now," said Tokage's floating mouth behind me.

I turned around to throw a blast at her, which she avoided. Tokage's quirk, which lets her to split up her body into independently moving pieces, had allowed her to sneak up on me and start beating hte crap out of me with little bits of detatched body.

These hits ain't too strong, but ugh! They're too small to target!

"In here, Bakugou!" Screamed Tape Arms, creating a tape prison to barricade out Tail Splitter chick.

"Like I said, it's all over now!" Came her gloating remark from above my head.

GLUE SQUALL! Screamed Weird Head as glue spread out over my team.

"Arch, we're trapped!" shouted Sugar Man

"This way," Tape ARms directed the others. From above, Dinosaur Face was planning to jump down upon the trapped students.

"Ha ha ha, too slow, too slow!"

"At least you two can get away!" said Sugar Man, holding up his hands.

Oh please. That glue's nothing.

I blasted it out of the way while trying to duck all the floating body parts.

The dinosaur weirdo was - jumping at Ears.

"Let's start with the biggest nuisance, Jirou!" Said Tokage.

Like hell you're taking my teammate.

I was in between them, kicking her out of the way to safety and blasting that bastard in the face.

"You sleeping o the job, Tokage?' Demanded the bug.

"For real!?" Asked Lizard Girl.

"When you guys are in trouble, I'll save ya. "

"Blocked my blast, huh!? I guess bugs do have quick reflexes! Try this!" I threw the Bug backwards.

"Thanks!" Said Ears.

"Shove it! They escaped, so go find em! Whether it's class training or whatever, I made a pledge! I will achieve absolute victory every time! We're taking this 4-0, no casualties! The strong don't settle for anything less!"

The others all started smiling.

"Crap, they're all falling back!" Said Ears. "Those extra noises from her make it tough, to be sure, but there're fewer pieces this time. If I focus I can tell what's what!"

"Fewer pieces?" Said Tape Arms.

"They're trying to regroup, huh? Those jerks. Do you all think we're just gonna lie down and take it? Let's go!"

I blasted forward - and was met by that welder loser.

Creep welded me to the nearest pillars.

"Job complete!"

"They've totally seen through our plans!" Snapped Tape Arms, trying to catch Welder with tape - which he evaded.

"DON'T MESS WITH ME!" I snapped, as Sugar Man smashed up the pillars and set me free.

"GET GOING!"

"NOBODY WELDS ME AND GETS AWAY WITH IT!" I shouted, blasting after that Welder jerk. And he assumed I was gonna be his opponent. Didn't see -

"HE'S ALL YOURS!" I called, blasting upwards. Ears and Tape Arms were right behind me.

"And when I'm in trouble…"

"Got this!" Smiled Ears. HEARTBEAT SURROUND!

You cover me, ok?

And her earphone plugs appeared above and below Welder, surrounding him with surround sound and stunning him for Tape Arms to bind.

I was closing in on Glue Face.

"I ain't in top form in the winter…But now I'm finally starting to heat up!" I blasted around him in an arc and threw a giant blast at his back. Sugar Man popped up from behind him and seized his head.

"Gotcha!"

"Bakugou!" Ears shouted, pointing her Earphone Jack for me to follow.

"We know a thing or two about Tokage's Lizard Tail Splitter," said Tape Arms. "She can split up into 50 pieces and move them all around, but the parts drop dead after a certain amount of time. She can regenerate those lost parts, and this next bit's just a guess but there's gotta be a limit to how much and how soon she can regenerate, right? Kinda like Yaoyorozu? If she's tried out, she's bound to lose focus."

I'd had caught up with the Bug, seized his cowl, and threw him, one hand grasping a horn, into the air.

EXPLODE-A-PULT!

Boom, Into a building. Done. And the others were taking care of Lizard Splitter with my explosive grenades.

"Take a few, just in case they ain't too strong. But they could come in handy."

Now she was right in front of me, barely ducking getting blown up.

"Close one -" she started.

She turned- and I was ready with a stun grenade.

"WHY'D YOU GO AND CHANGE SO MUCH!?" She demanded.

"I didn't change. MY goal has always been the same. To surpass All Might and be the number one hero!"

As the light cleared, Tokage lay on the ground, defeated.

Daika City

"Talk about the burbs," said Spinner. "Not too small, not too big."

"Nice atmosphere around here. It ticks me off!" Said Twice.

"One our and 40 minutes until our oversized friend awakens," said Compress. "Making them clash with Machia will require that we fight as well. This will be no walk in the park."

"Yes, why'd you have to drag me into this?" Grumbled Dabi.

"Hey, Giran brought you int other fold too!" Snapped Twice, throwing a measuring tape at him which Dabi ducked.

"Like I care."

"You bastard!"

"Someone's coming!" Called Toga, as the League prepared for action.

"No another step! I was ordered to guide you down into town!" Said a hero with a square jaw.

"A hero? I don't recognize this one!" Said Spinner.

"If you want a face-to-face with the Liberation Army's commander, then you'd best follow me, ok?"

He guided them through the deserted streets of Daika. It was silent.

"Not a soul around," said Compress.

Tomura looked up and noticed a figure atop a house.

"This whole city, huh?"

"This place isn't usually my turf," said the hero, putting his thumb to his forehead and sticking up his pointer finger. "But today's a big exception."

"Just as the man says!" Said a new voice. "Here in Deika City, 90% of the population heroes included are liberation warriors lying in wait. This is a liberated district!"

He had slicked back hair, sunglasses, a mustache line, and wore a fine suit. "Thank you for making the trip, and welcome. This ia day of celebration and you are the guests of honor. Shall we start the festivities? This is the meta human liberation army's revival celebration!"

And strange figures jumped out from hiding all around them, civilians with sharp fingers and long teeth.

"That's Hanabata, leader of the hearts and mind party!" Cried Compress.

"Is he some big shot?" Asked Spinner.

"Yes! Someone who could easily have 110,000 followers."

"So what? We're here, so where's Giran?!" Demanded Twice.

"Your broker? Waiting just over there with our grand commander," said Hanabata, gesturing to a distant building.

"B-but we were promised we'd get him back! What an obvious lie!"

"Tomura Shigaraki!" Several shouted, headed towards the League's leader.

They dissolved into dust with a touch. "Off to the tower, then."

"Oh, this is what we're good at -" smiled Toga. And the ground beneath her feet exploded."
