"Riser Phenex, Naruto Bael, the Arena has been completed, we are now going to send you to it." Grayfia announced over the loud speaker.
Magic circles appeared under Riser and Naruto, both of them appearing in a bland arena.
It was fifty-foot by fifty-foot area of stone.
"Riser, Naruto, you have thirty seconds before the match starts." Grayfia announced as a thirty second timer appeared before them and started to count down.
"Riser looks forward to his new sword." Riser goaded.
"As if, fuck face." Naruto said as he had Shigure and Yubashiri appear at his hip, drawing Yubashiri before taking a Kendo Stance. "Try taking Yubashiri from my hand, if I don't take your hand that is."
"Boasts of the loser." Riser said as he threw off his coat dramatically.

Six Minutes Prior…
"So, you intend to send a copy of this to Lucci, right?" Serafall asked as she got comfy on a couch.
"Yeah, he would probably like seeing his student kick the shit out of a cocky youngster." Ajuka said as he grabbed a massive box of popcorn.
"Guys, don't be like that." Sirzechs said as he sat down, a bag of chips in hand. "Riser isn't that ba…"
"Just shut up!" Falbium said as he lay across a fold out bed, blanket over him. "We don't care how you feel about the Phenex brat, he is a shitty person. End of Story, now I am going to nap."
Falbium turned onto his side as Sirzechs deflated in defeat.
He couldn't catch a break.
Meanwhile…
"I am surprised you came here, Danzo." Homura said as he drank some tea with the other Elders.
"I want to see how Uzumaki fights, to give him pointers if necessary." Danzo said as he took a cookie from the plate on the coffee table.
"Hm, sure." Koharu snipped as they continued to make small talk.
Meanwhile…
As the last few minutes settled, Ravel sat with Danjuro, Layla, Jonathan, Sabo, Kisara, and Riser's Peerage.
"That kid is going to lose." Yubelluna, Riser's Queen, said with a confident smirk. "He is inexperienced. So, this 'entertainment' won't be fun or last long."
A murmur of agreements from the peerage echoed in the room.
"Don't underestimate Naruto."
Yubelluna, Jonathan, Layla, Danjuro, and Ravel turned to see Sabo smirking.
"I don't follow, Sabo?" Layla asked in confusion.
Sabo's smirk became a smile, big and bright, showing off his teeth.
"You'll see the fruits of his training." Sabo said confidently. 'Especially since he was trained by Jiraiya the Toad Sage.'
"I agree with Sabo." Ravel said as she would route for her friend over Riser. "Naruto is going to win."
Yubelluna sighed as she shook her head.
"We will see."
Nearby, Koneko sat next to Guts and Casca, her stomach feeling like it was doing backflips as she glanced over at Naruto, seeing him talking to Sairaorg and Kuisha.
"What's got you nervous, Koneko?" Casca asked as she pulled the small nekoshou into her lap, patting her head.
"I don't want to see Naruto get hurt." Koneko said as she leaned into Casca, getting a motherly comfort from her.
"It is going to be okay, from what you told us," Guts said as he looked at Naruto. "He has an advantage over any Phenex."
"Huh?" Koneko said with a confused head tilt.
A few dozen feet away, Rias drank some sparkling water.
"You think he can win?" Sona asked her fellow King.
"I don't think so." Rias said as she got a refill. "Naruto is ten. Sure, he has been trained, but he lacks experience. I doubt he can put a scratch on Riser."
Sona quirked an eyebrow before she pushed up her glasses.
"I would not write Naruto off. Considering his parentage." Sona said as she drank some of her drink.
"What does his parents…" Rias started to ask before she was cut off.
"Riser Phenex, Naruto Bael, the Arena has been completed, we are now going to send you to it." Grayfia announced over the loud speaker.
Naruto and Riser were teleported to the arena, with Grayfia setting up magic screens in every room through out the castle, the size of the screens depending on the size of the rooms, so there was a massive wall sized tv screen showing Naruto and Riser.
"Riser, Naruto, you have thirty seconds before the match starts." Grayfia announced as a thirty second timer appeared before them and started to count down.
"Well, let the slaughter begin." Someone hollered, getting agreements.
"Yeah, Riser, fuck that kid up!"
"Twenty on Riser!"
"I'll take that bet!"
"OOOh, that fox is so cute."
"How could the Satan's allow a kid to fight Riser? It's just unfair."
"I bet the kid only takes one punch and then cries for his mommy."
Several Young Devils laughed at this statement, with a select few taking umbrage.
'Come on, Naruto.' Sairaorg thought as he watched the counter reach its end. 'Show them all what you are made of.'

"Start."
Naruto raised Yubashiri above his head as he used Soru to closed the distance, swinging down as he transformed into his hybrid form, now standing equal to Riser in height.
Riser raised his arms to block.
Yubashiri took off Riser's arms.
Riser… screamed.
His arms were bleeding, fire emitting from the stumps, and soon the wounds were sealed shut as his arms regenerated.
But he was still screaming.
"IT HURTS!" He shouted as he reeled back by one step. "HOW COULD YOU HURT RISER!"
"Kitsunebi-ryu: Homura Saki." Naruto simply answered as he kicked the air. "Rankyaku!"
The crescent blade shot from his leg, striking Riser, cutting him in half.
But it didn't hurt as much.
'What is going on!' Riser thought as he healed again.
"Homura Saki cuts fire." Naruto said as he appeared behind Riser. "Even Phenex fire."
Riser whipped around, spewing flames from his arm like a flame thrower, pushing Naruto back.
But his flame was cut in half, his hand splitting open from his index finder to his wrist.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHG!" Riser screamed as the intense pain was back while he healed. 'Scarring?'
Indeed, Riser's healed hand had a fresh scar.
'Impossible.' Riser thought as he felt himself begin to become afraid. 'It has to be that sword. It has to be a holy weapon, that is the only way Riser can be scarred.'
A plan forming, Riser created a ring of fire around him, acting like a barrier.
Meanwhile…
"HOLY SHIT!"
"He cut a Phenex? How, he doesn't have any holy attributes."
Sabo felt justified as he watched his brother get ready for a counter attack.
'Hopefully, this can humble you, brother.' Sabo thought.
Annoying and lecherous Riser may be, but family he was too.
Ravel just stared, wide eyed and slack jawed, saliva starting to drip from the corner of her mouth, which Danjuro dabbed with a handkerchief.
Guts howled with laughter with his peerage.
Rias had sparkling water and shattered glass at her feet as she stared at the screen.
'He injured Riser.' She thought in disbelief. 'How…'
Sona nodded, impressed.
Sairaorg smiled proudly.
Arena…
"You think Riser will fall for that same speed trick?" Riser shouted at no body as Naruto seemingly vanished.
The arena had nothing to hide behind, it was a simple stone arena.
'Where is…' Riser thought as he moved, the defensive ring of fire moving with him.
A small stone puffed, revealing Naruto in his full fox form.
With am animalistic cry, Naruto sank his teeth into Riser's bicep, crunching as hard as he could.
'Rankyaku, X4!'
Naruto kicked with all four of his paws, slicing Riser at point blank range.
Naruto released and pushed off of Riser, doing a flip as he entered his hybrid form, landing on his knees.
'Shit, I fucked the landing.' Naruto thought in embarrassment as his cheeks blushed.
"You bastard!" Riser shouted as he finished regenerating, his upper torso exposed.
Unlike the Rankyaku attacks, Riser's arms and hand had scarring from Yubashiri.
"ENOUGH!" Riser shouted as he shot from his spot, fire shooting from his feet, increasing his speed as he shot across the short distance.
'Kami-e.'
Naruto evaded Riser's attack by bending into paper, his spine bending backwards.
'WHAT THE…'
Naruto reformed, Yubashiri on his right hip, Shigure on his left, holding both sheathed swords.
"Nitoryu Ia…" Naruto mumbled as he faced Riser, drawing his swords a short distance out of their sheathes. "Rashomon!"
Riser's eyes went white as Naruto cleaved him into pieces again, fire erupting as Naruto stopped a few feet away, sheathing his swords.
'I could have killed him if I used Homura Saki of Kitsunebi-ryu.' Naruto thought as he turned, preparing for another attack from Riser.
Meanwhile…
The older generation that survived the Faction and Devil Civil War dropped whatever they had been holding, staring at their screens.
All had the same collective thought.
'I-impossible…'
'That could not have been…'
'Could he have had a grandchild?'
'But he doesn't look anything like the Ashura or Red Death…'
Koneko, Sabo, and Sairaorg were the ones who couldn't help but smile.
Sirzechs chuckled as he ate his chips.
"He has mastered such an advanced technique." Ajuka said with a mouth full of popcorn.
Serafall gushed at how cool Naruto looked, making mental notes to create a new anti-hero for her show.
Falbium snored as he peacefully slept.
Arena…
"YOU INSIGNIFICANT INSECT!" Riser screamed as his engulfed body finished regenerating. "I KNOW YOUR TRICK! YOU CAN'T DO ANYTHING WITHOUT THOSE SWORDS! COME ON, FIGHT RISER LIKE A MAN, HAND TO HAND!"
Naruto shrugged, putting Shigure back with Yubashiri on his left hip.
"Have it your way." Naruto scoffed as he prepared himself for CQC. 'Soru.'
"Where…" Riser spoke before he was rammed into.
'Tekkai!' Naruto thought, his heavy body ramming full force into Riser.
Riser's eyes nearly bugged out as the air was forced out of his lungs.
Ending Tekkai, Naruto flexed his claws as he pushed off of Riser, his defenses down.
Blood streams flew upward, chunks of flesh and fire under Naruto's claws.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHGHHAHHHHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHAGHA AA!" Riser screamed as his flesh was restored, bearing scars from Homura Saki.
"I trained my body to be a weapon." Naruto said as he pulled his arm back, pointing his finger. "Shigan."
His finger embedded itself into Riser's throat, a garbled sound echoing from the owner's mouth and throat hole.
"BAgstArd…" Riser angrily sounded, realizing he wasn't dying.
He grabbed Naruto's upper arm, a punched him, fire spewing from his fist upon contact.
Five cuts split the fire, dispersing it as Naruto held his hand out, his claws coated in fire before it vanished as he balled up his fist.
His fur was singed, multiple burn blisters and nasty burns covered him.
His clothes and headband scorned and catching ablaze.
"IMPOSSIBLE!" Riser shouted due to his throat having healed enough for him to speak.
"JUST SHUT UP!" Naruto screamed over Riser, his eyes wide as the urge to kill Riser spiked intensely.
Riser expelled fire from his mouth, but Naruto's fist broke his jaw, his entire fist entering Riser's mouth.
Riser's head imploded, fire bursting to life as Riser's body reformed.
"Yield, asshole." Naruto demanded, not taking any enjoyment in this fight.
His fighting instincts were running into overdrive as he looked at his opponent.
"N-no… Riser won't…" Riser stammered as he tried to stand.
Naruto growled.
"Fine." Naruto said as he reached down to grab Riser.
Wings of flame appeared from behind Riser, pushing him away from Naruto.
"RISER WILL BE VICTORIOUS!" He shouted as he collected fire into his palms, condensing them into a small sphere.
He thrust his palms out, firing the fire out like a laser beam, its heat so intense that the stone arena started to liquify.
'Soru, Geppo.'
Riser's attack hit the wall, an explosive shockwave burst from contact, Riser ducking down to protect himself from the debris.
"Riser… Riser…" he gasped as he couldn't see Naruto. "Hu…huhu… hauhaaahaaahaahahHAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAAAAHAH, RISER IS VICTORIUS!"
A familiar whirl sound caught his ears, causing Riser to look up, seeing Naruto, hands together as he created an imperfect Rasengan.
"RASENGAN!" Naruto shouted as he used Soru to speed toward the down Phenex, thrusting his hand outward. 'Tekkai!'
His plan was to crush into Riser, grinding his body with his jutsu while defending himself and preventing his arm breaking from being pushed toward the ground.
But not all plans go according to themselves as Naruto's wrist was grabbed and someone flipped him over their shoulder toward the wall.
Said wall was destroyed as Naruto's jutsu went through it followed by his heavier body.
"YOU…" Riser gasped as he saw Zodd exiting his stance, no longer needing to be in a Judo-like stance.
"Your fight finished a minute ago." Zodd said calmly toward the kitsune as Naruto collapsed out of the hole he made. "You were so focused on your attack that you didn't heard Lady Grayfia call the match."
"What…" Naruto asked as he powered down. "Who won?"
"Seems both of you aren't harmed to badly."
Naruto turned, having heard his name, and saw Sirzechs, Grayfia, Serafall, Falbium, and Ajuka standing before him.
"Master, Milady, Lord Asmodeus, Lord Beelzebub, and Lady Leviathan." Zodd said as he bowed, taking a knee like a knight.
Riser scooped himself up and bowed, Naruto following suit.
"My Lord." Riser coughed out, healed enough to bow. "What was the outcome of this fight?"
"Well, it's obvious." Falbium yawned. "It wasn't the one who got his ass kicked."
Riser flinched, eyes holding an intense fire of anger, but he kept his mouth shut as his hair started to regrow.
"The winner: Naruto Bael." Serafall declared as she held up Naruto's hand, who blushed as he found her gorgeous, and being touched made his heart race. "Alright, now both of you, shake hands for sportsmanship."
Naruto and Riser glared at each other.
But their hands met.
Both trying to crush each other's hands.
"Anyway." Riser said with venom. "You… won the fight," A tick mark appeared on his forehead. "You won our bet as well."
"Oh, shit I forgot about that." Naruto remarked, both of them releasing their hands, rubbing the sore appendages.
"You won, so you get one thing from me." Riser said, doing his best to mentally prepare for a humiliating…
"I want to spend the night at your place to hang out with Ravel."
"Huh?"
Ten Minutes Later…
"Now that the entertainment has been completed," Sirzechs said as the Young Devil's present turned and faced their Leaders.
"We would like to formally start this celebration." Serafall said cheerfully as she raised her hand, causing her large breasts to bounce, which made Sona sweat drop.
"Now, gather with your peerages so we can start already." Falbium stated tiredly as he yawned.
Naruto stood with his Peerage, glancing over to see Ravel looking at him, her cheeks blushing before she avoided his gaze.
Koneko, who stood nearby, scowled.
Riser had chosen to stand with his peerage as far away from Naruto as possible.
"Now that we are all gathered for the Festival of the End," Ajuka said as he held out his hand and snapped his fingers, causing several large screens of magic to appear in the air. "We shall pay our respects to all who died, but to remember their sacrifices."
Many people flashed by on the screens in quick succession, showing how many, thousands upon thousands of devils, humans, and yokai, who laid their lives down.
"The Faction War may have continued for many more years, if it were not for the bravery and courage of Marco Phenex." Sirzechs said as the screens showed Marco Phenex. "Though many may see him as a traitor," Riser sucked his teeth and rolled his eyes in disrespect. "Without his help, the Great Revolutionary would have never ended the war."
Kurama's image appeared.
'So, that is what grandpa looks like when he was much older.' Naruto thought, the only image of Kurama he had seen was in Kamabakka Queendom when he was young.
"With Kurama D. Uzumaki's great power, Leviathan and Lucifer were slain, ending the enslavement of the yokai and humans." Serafall spoke as she remembered those cruel times, seeing humans and Yokai forcefully torn from their families and used as weapons. "The war lasted a few short days, but with the death of the Satan's, the war ended in a shaky treaty."
"However," Falbium continued drastically. "Our war was not over, for the Old Satan Faction was formed by the descendants of the Original Satan's, and thus the Devil Civil War!"
"Our heroes fought each other, killed each other, until a group of five appeared and evened the odds." Ajuka ended as he caused the screens to change images.
"The Slug Princess and Lady of Elixir's, Tsunade Senju, Granddaughter and Grandniece of Two of the Great Heroes of Kyoto." Ajuka announced as Tsunade was shown.
"Master of Snakes and King of Ryuchi Cave, Orochimaru." Falbium stated as the image changed to Orochimaru.
"The Second Toad Sage, Master of the Flying Raijin, Minato Namikaze." Sirzechs announced as Minato was shown, but he wasn't alone. "And the Daughter of the Great Revolutionary, the Red Reaper, Kushina D. Uzumaki."
"The Gallant Toad Sage, Master of Haki and Writer of the Make-Out Series, Jiraiya." Serafall declared as Jiraiya's image was shown. "Sadly, we have been informed the Gallant Jiraiya has passed away a year ago." Gasps were heard as the crowd went deadly quiet. "He will be missed, but we shall celebrate this year in his memory."
"NOW, LET US CELEBRATE OUR HEROES!" the Satan's announced, raising their hands as fireworks went off around the Castle, a loud roar of cheers from the attending Young Devil Kings and the citizens.
Naruto clapped with his fellow devils, but he felt a sense of dread.
"Excuse me…" Naruto heard as the Young Devil's dispersed to start the celebrations proper. "You are their child, right?"
Naruto turned and saw a… Man?
His facial features were soft and somewhat androgynous.
His most conspicuous characteristic is his snake-like appearance: he has very pale skin, golden eyes with slitted pupils, purple markings around his eyes and fang-like teeth. He also has pronounced cheekbones and straight waist-length black hair. He also wore his hair in a ponytail, allowing two locks to frame the sides of his face.
He wears a white robe tied at his waist by a dark-colored sash and a purple rope, blue pants and shirt.
He held a glass of wine in hand as he looked at Naruto with a smile showing familiarity.
"uh… do I… know you?" Naruto asked in utter confusion.
"Oh, where are my manners." The man said as he put his hand above his heart and bowed lightly. "I am Orochimaru, I was a teammate of Jiraiya's. I also knew your parents…"
Orochimaru leaned in, his lips barely grazing Naruto's ear.
"Uzumaki D. Naruto." He whispered like a soft hiss.
Naruto pushed away, his fight or flight instinct going crazy as he had his hand on Shigure's handle.
"Fufufufufufufufu…" Orochimaru laughed into his hand before drinking some wine. "Your mother reacted the same way when I met her. Don't worry, I won't say a word, Naruto Bael."
'Is he trust worthy?' Naruto thought as he watched Orochimaru finish his wine. 'It is true, the Satan's mentioned Orochimaru. But they don't look anything alike. But he knew Pervy Sage…'
"I have to ask." Orochimaru said as he put his empty wine glass on a tray from a waiter who was carrying a tray of empty cups. "How did Jiraiya pass?"
Naruto felt a lump in his throat.
His guard up, Naruto stood straight.
"He died… protecting me." Naruto replied sadly, Orochimaru leaning in to hear his more mumbled words.
Chapter 20, DONE!
The fight was short, and Riser had No real offense that could turn the tide.
Kitsunebi-ryu: Homura Saki is able to cut all fire, so of course Riser had no way of overwhelming Naruto.
Naruto is going to get to spend time with Ravel, that will be fun to write.
But now he is meeting Orochimaru.
Don't worry, he is an ally, not a villain.
