Seiryu The Azure Dragon: Naruto is a Pawn. Naruto's speed is partially because his hybrid nature because Minato was a Toad Yokai and Kushina was a Kitsune.

Chapter 31: Finally Mastered
Gremory Apartments…
Guts pulled a party popper… exploding pink and baby blue confetti into the air around Koneko.
"We're pregnant." Casca said joyfully, a motherly smile and aura appearing around her.
Koneko, covered in confetti, blankly stared.
"Huh?" Koneko tilted her head in confusion.
"We are going to have a baby." Guts said bashfully, smiling so brightly it was hard to see.
Koneko's ears rang, and as it sank in, she couldn't help but feel her facial muscles tingle as she started to smile.
"CONGRATS!" She cheered as she hugged Casca.
Rias smiled, happy Koneko was happy, not noticing her phone going off in her bag.
Sitri House…
Sona and Tsubaki rushed to cover the internet tracks of the stray.
"You sure we shouldn't go help?" Tsubaki asked in massive concern.
Sona bit her lip.
What was the correct answer in this situation?
'This is Ravel's first stray hunt, so she should take responsibility, but on the other hand…' Sona thought, trying to figure out what she should do.
Meanwhile…
Naruto flipped his blades into reverse grip.
'Time to test out my Yontoryu.' He thought as he used Geppo to bolt right at Katanaman.
Katanaman shifted his stance.
"UZU-D!" He shouted as he clenched his hands, a wave of magic rolling off of him.
Naruto stood straight up, his tail moving with the wave as Ravel watched with Danjuro, Loona, and Onimaru, the latter three standing before Ravel protectively.
Naruto vanished, reappearing within Katanaman's guard.
"UGH!"
Shigure sliced into Katanaman, who reeled back, arm arching circularly into a downward motion.
Naruto kicked, a Rankyaku blade striking the oncoming blade, chipping it.
He jumped back, kicking again, a second Rankyaku striking Katanaman's shoulder as he swung Yubashiri.
Katanaman emitted steam from his wounds, a black ooze sealing them up as he blocked, pushing his blade up Yubashiri's.
Pushing Yubashiri down, the arm/blade struck Naruto in the torso.
"NARUTO!"
"I'M FINE!" Naruto shouted out of breath, bleeding from his Tekkai being broken again. "Just keep watching!"
Ravel wavered as Naruto continued to swing sword and leg at Katanaman, both trading strikes like punches and kicks.
'Watch? Watch for WHAT?' Ravel weakly thought, tears in her eyes. 'I couldn't guide them to defeat this thing… I needed you to save me…'
Ravel gripped the ground, digging into the grass with her fingers as her tears streamed down her cheeks.
'What can I do?' She thought as Naruto blocked Katanaman's arms, two craters froming under his feet from the force of the attack.
Naruto grit his teeth, his muscles bulging as he pushed back against Katanaman's strength.
Naruto was forced to a knee.
"UZU-D!" Katanaman screamed like a rabid man.
"Beast Art…"
Naruto heard the swishing of a brush on the ground before seeing Katanaman be punched away by a Shiza Statue made of ink.
"Tomoe Lion."
'Like art come to life…' Naruto thought as he felt the pressure vanish as Katanaman was sent flying.
"Sorry to interrupt," a male voice said, making everyone look at them. "But I couldn't just watch this happen."
He was roughly thirteen or fourteen in appearance. White milky like skin, short black hair and black almond shaped eyes.
He wore a school uniform, and in his hand was a giant ink brush, though it had a katana guard and handle, with a small tassel on the pommel.
"Who…"
"Name is Sai," Sai introduce in a panicked tone, putting the brush tip against the ground as he recalled the Tomoe Lion, started drawing a new creature. "But we got company!"
Naruto spun on his heel, Kicking Katanaman in the torso.
'Grind against itself, creating sparks…' Naruto thought as he coated Shigure in chakra, striking Kataman in the leg. "Kitsunebi-ryu: Karyu Issen!"
Shigure sliced, igniting in flames, deep within Katanaman's leg.
A guttural, pained roar emitted from the stray devil's throat, only for Loona to appear, full size, and bite his throat, using her momentum to hurl him over her body and away from Naruto.
"Thanks… Loona…" Naruto gasped as he dowsed the flames on Shigure.
"Beast Scroll: Tiger!" Sai announced as he brought his newest art piece to life, summoning up a giant ink tiger.
The tiger roared as it lunged upon Katanaman, pinning him down, Loona letting go and returning to her Master's side.
"Okay, that should hold him down for…"
Sai's eyes opened wide in surprise, blades impaling his right side.
Katanaman had stabbed its blade into the earth, thus attacking him.
Naruto watched Sai hit the ground, his weapon at his side as his blood escaped his body.
"FUCK!" Naruto screamed in anger as the Ink Tiger began to flicker.
He didn't know Sai… at all… but the fact that Naruto let him get hit, after having helped, pissed him off.
"WAIT!" Ravel shouted as she grabbed Naruto.
"WHAT!"
Ravel walked up to Sai.
"Do you wish to live?" She asked him softly, summoning her flame wings.
Sai looked at her, gasping for air.
"I-I do…" He gasped out.
Ravel nodded, summoning a Knight piece.
"Then live on, as my Knight…" She said as she placed it against his chest.
The Knight merged with his body.
Naruto watched in amazement as Sai's injuries vanished and he was healed. The Ink Tiger was invigorated, returning to its glory in holding Katanaman down.
"What… am I?" Sai asked, touching his body since he had thought he was delusional.
"You are now a devil." Ravel said as she knelt down, and picked up his giant brush. "You are my servant, and I do apologize for this crash course being sudden."
"Huh…" Sai said as he stood up, accepting his weapon. "Well, thank you for saving me… but…"
"UZU-D!"
More blades erupted from the earth, but the teens were bounced into the air from the ground.
"Gently Trampoline!" Danjuro declared, Naruto using Geppo while Ravel grabbed Sai's hand, the two moving over and away from Katanaman's range.
"Thank you, Gentle." Ravel thanked as she let Sai go.
Danjuro nodded.
"It was my pleasure, My King." He said with a bow.
"Now, stay here." Naruto said as he returned his attention to Katanaman. "I'm going to kill that thing."
"Wait." Ravel said as she grabbed his shoulder.
"What, Ravel?" Naruto asked, little aggressively.
"Look, it's leg." Ravel pointed out, pointing toward the injury Naruto inflicted. "It's not healing, so fire can work if you break it's skin."
Naruto nodded.
"So, I need to combine Kitsunebi-ryu with Yontoryu." Naruto said as he pushed Ravel behind him as Katanaman got up. "Thanks for noticing, Ravel, but I want you guys too…"
"No, we won't run." Ravel said as Sai, Loona, Onimaru, and Danjuro stood beside her. "We will take this thing down, and I have a plan."
Naruto quirked an eyebrow, then sighed, smiling.
"Then tell me what we need to do?" Naruto asked as the Ink Tiger held Katanaman down.
Meanwhile…
Kuroka strolled across a fence, in her cat form, heading toward Gremory Apartments.
'I can't wait to see Shirone's place.' She thought, remembering the address from Naruto some time earlier.
Jumping into a tree then scaled up it to the windows of the building.
'Now, what was the number again?' Kuroka thought, sitting on her haunches to lick her paw before rubbing it on her head, pretending to be a normal cat with her tail swaying.
*BOOM*
She jumped when she heard the sound.
Laughter echoed loudly from a certain window close enough for her to jump to.
'I guess that is her room, let's have a looksy." Kuroka thought, trotting in and scaling the wall toward a window, which thankfully had a hanging flower window box, which she sat in.
"NYA!" Kuroka expressed, hair standing on end when she saw Guts and Casca with Koneko and Rias.
"Huh?" Koneko said as she turned toward the window, eyes widening. "Kurotama?"
'Oh, fuck.' Kuroka thought when she realized she gave herself away as Koneko opened the window.
"Kurotama? How'd you… never mind, just come here." Koneko said in utter confusion as she picked the fat cat up under the arms before closing the window.
"What's wrong?" Rias asked in concern as Koneko returned to the group.
"Nothing, just Naruto's cat was in my planter box outside the window." Koneko said as she held Kuroka. "Probably smelled me and followed me home. I guess she climbed the tree."
Sweat drops started to form as Kuroka locked eyes with Guts.
He stared at her with his good eye… before smirking.
"It's Naruto's cat?" He asked in a sarcastic tone.
"Yeah, it's Kurotama." Koneko said happily as she snuggled with the cat. "She is nice."
'No, please, Shirone, no…' Kuroka thought as Koneko walked over to Guts, handing her over to him.
Koneko had to adjust her holding method as Kuroka started to thrash in her arms.
"Kurotama… what's gotten into you…" Koneko asked as she struggled to hold onto Kuroka.
Guts reached out and grabbed Kuroka by the scruff of her neck, lifting her up and holding her out before him.
Kuroka's anger spiked.
Guts had this shit eating, 'I know its you' grin that pissed her off.
"You are a cutie." Casca said as she took Kuroka from Guts, rubbing her fingers on Kuroka's back.
Like magic, all of Kuroka's anger slowly faded as she cuddled in Casca's arms.
"What a fussy animal." Rias said as she grabbed her bag, grabbing her phone to check it…
And saw many unread messages.
One from Danjuro with the rest from Sona.
'What is going on?' Rias thought as she moved to Koneko's kitchen and called Sona.
Meanwhile…
"What? I can't do that!" Naruto stated in disbelief to Koneko's plan. "You know I haven't…"
"Then have a clone help you, I don't know, but cutting it with your Kitsunebi-ryu won't be enough, Naruto." Ravel stated, a flame of determination and trust in her plan in her eyes, contrasted by the dry tear stains on her face.
"I believe it will work." Sai agreed with his new King.
"Let us give it a try." Danjuro encouraged.
"Yes, let's go with Master's Plan." Onimaru boasted.
Loona barked in agreement.
Naruto nodded, not arguing.
"I'll do what I can." He said as he stabbed Yubashiri and Shigure into the ground, lifting his hands into a hand sign. "Shadow Clone Jutsu!"
Twelve Naruto's appeared around them.
"Alright, you know the plan." Naruto announced, taking his swords, sheathing Shigure. "Let's go."
Everyone nodded and got ready.
"Sai, release the tiger." Ravel ordered.
Sai nodded, furling his brow in concentration.
'Dispel.' He thought.
The tiger faded, becoming art on the ground.
Katanaman got up slowly, stumbling slightly.
It spun on his heel, stabbing Naruto, only for it to puff into a cloud.
"Over here."
"No here."
"Slowpoke."
"Dumbass."
"Can't you follow me?"
"Don't listen, I am the Real Naruto."
The Clones ran around the stray, it's head snapping back and forth between each one, as if it was analyzing them.
"UZU-D!" It shouted, crossing its arms before swinging them outward, slashing its head the same time.
Blades of magic shot out in multiple directions, popping all but one.
The clone collapsed, looking upward at Katanaman looming over him.
"Uzu-D."
"Right here."
Katanaman's head slashed at Naruto, who blocked with Yubashiri… then slashed with his right arm.
Ravel's eyes widened as Naruto blocked with his bare arm, the blade cleaving partially into Naruto's limb.
'Shit!' Naruto thought as he ended Tekkai.
A black inky snake slithered up Naruto's leg, then back, over his shoulder and down his arm before wrapping around the blade and Naruto's arm, binding them.
"Thanks, Sai!" Naruto called out as he pushed Katanaman's left arm off with Yubashiri.
Danjuro grabbed the left blade.
It immediately became rubber and elastic like, allowing the man to grab it safely without cutting himself.
"Topple, like the Jenga tower!" Onimaru howled as he used his bisento to cut Katanaman's knees, a roar ripping from its' throat, Loona once again biting the head blade handle, pulling his head back.
With all their work, Katanaman was 'kneeling' before Ravel while exposing its chest.
"Naruto, now!" Ravel shouted as Sai made more Snakes, wrapping around Katanaman's limbs to help restrain the struggling stray further.
"UZU-D!" it screamed as it struggled against its bindings.
Naruto dropped Yubashir and held up his hand, looking at the clone as he started to channel chakra into his palm.
The clone jumped from the ground, putting both hands around Naruto's.
"UZU-D!"
"SHIT HE IS… STRONG!" Naruto shouted as he tried to focus on his jutsu, but also keep his posture to not let Katanaman move.
"Come on!" Sai urged, focusing his magic into his Ink Snakes.
Naruto grit his teeth, and relaxed his left arm.
Katanaman forced his right hand into Naruto's upper arm as Naruto put all of his focusing power into his jutsu.
Naruto watched in shock and disbelief.
'a… A perfect sphere…' Naruto thought as his clone's hand added the rotation as he added the power.
Naruto shifted his foot, grounding his stance.
"RASENGAN!" Naruto shouted, pulling his right hand back, the clone dispersing.
Ravel's hand engulfed itself in flames, and in a quick motion, she blasted Katanaman's chest.
"PHENEX FLARE!" She screamed.
"COMBO: SPIRAL FLAME PILLAR!" Naruto shouted as he landed his strike.
The Rasengan ground itself into Katanaman's chest, and the flames were sucked into the rotation vortex it created.
Everyone released and jumped away from Katanaman, Naruto grabbing Yubashiri with his tail as Katanaman flailed in agony.
The fire spread from within, the Rasengan having ended, but the air current was running strong without it.
"U-U-UZu-D~~~~~~~" Katanaman screamed as it burned into ash, the blades melting into slag.
Naruto watched as he returned to his normal self, a seldom somber feeling in his heart.
The flames began to die as the last remnants of flesh and fat sizzled.
Naruto sighed, sheathing Yubashiri.
'It wasn't a failure… but I still need to work on my…' Naruto thought as he started to feel woozy, collapsing, blood soaking into the ground from his left arm injuries. 'Yon… toryu…'
"NARUTO!" Ravel screamed as she knelt down and reached into her pocket to grab the Phenex tear bottles… only to gasp when she felt no more in her pocket.
Without hesitation, Ravel grabbed her wrist and with enough willpower, set her own flesh on fire.
Not cover…
"Lady Ravel, what are…" Danjuro started to cry out before he witnessed Ravel's tears fall down her cheeks onto Naruto.
"Wow…" Sai mumbled as Naruto's wounds healed. "Wait," he deadpanned. "Why did I have to be revived as a devil while he gets tear healing?"
Ravel flinched.
"Uh… I…" She avoided Sai's gaze.
Sai snickered.
"I am only joking, my King." He said as he bowed, crossing an arm over his chest. "I am Sai Kurozumi, and my weapon is the Sacred Gear known as Ink Dweller." He brandished his brush. "It allows me to draw creatures and bring them to life."
Ravel took a breath, regaining her composure.
"It is nice to meet you, Sai. I am Ravel Phenex, of the House of Phenex." Ravel introduced by bowing slightly.
"I am Danjuro Tobita." Danjuro greeted with a bow similar to Sai's. "But I insist you call me Gentle."
"I am Onimaru." Onimaru greeted, not bowing as he put his hand on Loona's head. "This is Loona. We are familiars of our Master."
A puff of smoke enveloped Onimaru, and when it cleared, revealed he had reverted to his true Tenko Form.
"Okay, what about him?" Sai asked as he pointed toward Naruto, looking at him with curiosity.
"He is Naruto Bael, of the House of Bael, Pawn to Sairaorg Bael." Ravel explained as she knelt next to Naruto, shaking him.
Sai tilted his head.
"Wait, I am confused. I thought you said your name was Phenex? Not Bael?" Sai asked in confusion.
"Well…" Danjuro said as he picked Naruto up, putting him over his shoulder. "There is much to explain, but for now… We must erase the memories of these people…"
Ravel looked around, and sighed.
'At least there is only a handful of people.' She thought stressfully.
Meanwhile…
A frazzled and tired looking Sona gasped for air, victory in her eyes.
'Got all of the evidence…' She thought as she felt magic behind her.
"Sona, I just got the messages…"
"WHERE WERE YOU!" Sona screamed, turning toward the red haired King. "YOU LEFT ME HERE TO DO THIS ON MY OWN, RIAS!"
Evening…
"It was nice seeing you, Koneko." Casca said as she hugged the nekoshou tightly. "Please come visit us soon, okay?"
"I will." Koneko promised.
"I'm going to use the bathroom before we leave." Guts said as he made his way to the restroom.
Kuroka followed him.
"So, it really is you?" Guts whispered softly.
Kuroka nodded, fearing she might be heard.
"Hm," Guts laughed as he opened the door. "I guess you are overprotective then, Kuro-'tama'."
Kuroka scowled at this as Guts closed the bathroom door.
'He is an asshole.' Kuroka thought as she heard the front door open.
"NARUTO YOU ASSHOLE!"
"OWOWOWOWOWOWOWOWOWOWOW, KWONEKWO!"
Kuroka scampered into the living room and found Koneko pinching Naruto's cheeks, stretching them outward with an angry frown.
"You left me at the restaurant all alone." She said in a slow angered tone.
"Bwut I weft my wawwet…" Naruto answered, tears swelling in his eyes as she pulled his cheeks harder.
"NO EXCUSES…" Koneko said in an dark tone.
"That's enough, Toujo." Ravel said as she entered the apartment. "I am the reason Naruto had to leave."
Koneko released Naruto's cheeks and got into Ravel's face.
"Don't think I'll let this go because you came here to apologize, Phenex." Koneko snarled. "You ruined my date, so…"
"Okay," Casca said as she stepped between Koneko and Ravel, putting hands on their shoulders. "I know things have been tense, but let's not argue. Or…"
A broad sword appeared in Casca's hand, her face becoming sickeningly sweet as she looked at them, making Koneko and Ravel shudder in fear.
"We may have to do things the hard way." Casca said with a cute head tilt.
"No… I'm good." Koneko answered.
"I am about to leave, come on, Naruto." Ravel said as she helped Naruto stand, his cheeks deep crimson from Koneko's pinching.
"Nya~"
"Kurotama?" Naruto said as he picked his cat up.
"Oh, yeah, I forgot, she came here a few hours ago, I don't know why though." Koneko said as she scratched Kuroka's ear.
"Well, thank you for looking after her…" Naruto said before Koneko returned his wallet to him. "Thank you, nearly forgot."
"Yeah, but you know what else you forgot?" Koneko asked as the toilet flushed, the sink turning on, before Guts exited the bathroom.
"What did…"
Koneko pulled Naruto down and locked lips.
Aggressively.
Chapter 31, DONE!
I hope this chapter makes up for the previous one.
I had fun with this chapter.
Sai Kurozumi, and his Sacred Gear, Ink Dweller, are now Ravel's Knight. I bet a lot of One Piece fans can see how this is bad. Yes, I know Sai shouldn't be this expressive, but there is a reason. If you know your One Piece Lore, you already know.
