Oxford Not Brogues

Haunted

Part Five

"Do you remember your first orgasm?" Alucard asked. Almost instantly, the entire kitchen went silent. Seras' face paled drastically as her soul practically left her body. What did he just ask her?

"Alucard!" Sebastian hollered as he turned sharply with a knife in hand. "That's the first question you ask her?! How vulgar!"

"It's okay," Seras muttered while she gave them a sheepish smile. "I wasn't expecting that, but…I'll answer it."

"You don't have to answer that question, Seras." The demon assured her. "In fact, you can ignore him." He then turned back to the stove to stir the risotto and ignore the crass No Life King.

"Really, it's alright, Sebastian. Yeah, I'm a little embarrassed, but…I don't mind answering. I think it's good for people who are dating to discuss things, especially intimate topics. It's important to discuss boundaries and what each of us are comfortable with." Seras responded. Taking a deep breath, the little human looked back up at the grinning No Life King. "I am nineteen and I have never had an orgasm, Alucard. I have never experimented or…explored my own body. I didn't even feel sexual arousal for the first time until last night when I locked eyes with Sebastian in the bar." Proud that she had opened up to him, she asked a question. "When did you…willingly have sex with someone?"

"When I was fifteen," Alucard answered with ease. "It was with a twenty-nine year old courtesan."

"Eh," Seras tried to keep from showing how grossed out she was. The first time he willingly had sex with someone was with a prostitute? And he had been fifteen?! It made her want to shudder in disgust, but she refrained from doing so because she didn't want to offend Alucard. "What about someone you had a connection with?"

"You mean my first love?" The No Life King asked with an arched brow.

"Right!" Seras chirped with a nod.

"When I was in my thirties. It was with a woman named Katharina." Alucard responded.

"It wasn't until you were in your thirties?" The little human asked in disbelief. That was the first time he had ever fallen in love with someone and the first time sex was more than just pleasure, but a deep, unfathomable connection with someone? She couldn't imagine waiting that long to have a first love. "Did you marry her?"

"No," The vampire murmured and shook his head.

"Why not?" Seras asked. Alucard stared at her for a moment or two, debating if he should tell her the truth or not. Eventually, he made up his mind and sighed deeply.

"Because I was already married and the church wouldn't annul our marriage." The No Life King answered truthfully. "And when my wife found out I was in love with another woman, she threw herself into a river. Shortly after, I was held captive by Mathias Corvinus for several years because he thought I had betrayed him. So no, I was never given the chance to marry the first woman I had ever truly loved."

"I'm sorry, Alucard, but it sounded like your life sucked majorly. Constantly being imprisoned, abused, tortured, and losing loved ones, not just as a human but even as a vampire. That sounds like too much for a person to bear. How are you still going?" Seras asked with a worried look on her face.

What she didn't know was the number of times he had tried to end his life. The number of times he allowed his opponents the opportunity to kill him by not dodging any of their attacks. But not one of them had been successful. His life has been very long and tiring, but it wasn't all bad. Currently, the only good thing that was occurring in his life was Seras. His forlorn red eyes raked slowly down her body, taking her all in.

"I'm sorry. That was rude to say." Seras instantly apologized as she placed a hand over her mouth to shut herself up. "I shouldn't have said that."

"What you said didn't upset me." Alucard snickered to ease his mate's mind. "Don't worry about it."

"Earlier you mentioned setting boundaries. What are your boundaries, Seras?" Sebastian asked as he proceeded adding ladles of stock to the risotto and stirring it all in.

"I believe fully in respect and equality in a relationship." Seras spoke up, receiving a nod from the demon. "And I certainly don't want to be told who I can and can't hang out with."

"I will treat you with the utmost respect and as an equal. I don't mind your friends and I certainly don't mind if you want to hangout with them. The demon responded.

"As will I," Alucard agreed.

"At the moment, those are the only boundaries I can think of." The little human replied. "What about you guys? Any boundaries I should be aware of?"

"None that I can think of. Alucard?" Sebastian asked.

"No," The No Life King answered.

"What about physical boundaries?" The demon asked.

"You mean like sex?" Seras questioned.

"Not just that alone, but how we touch or kiss you." Sebastian added. "Is there anything that makes you uncomfortable?"

"Could you give examples?" The girl asked.

"What if I were to caress your cheek or brush your hair behind your ear?" He asked, causing her face to heat with a blush.

"Those are fine," She muttered bashfully.

"Snogging or even French kissing?" Alucard purred with a sinister look in hellish eyes. The redness in her cheeks darkened further.

"I-I," The girl stuttered before she swallowed nervously. "I don't know when I will be ready to try…French kissing, but both are also fine." She then released a breath she hadn't realized she had been holding. "I don't know about sex either for that matter. I think it might be awhile before I might want to."

"There is absolutely no rush, Seras." Sebastian assured her. "While we're on the matter, are there any triggers that we should be aware of?"

"Well," Seras murmured, wondering if she should talk about what was on her mind. "I do have…PTSD." She nervously wrung her hands and kept her eyes glued to her palms, ashamed to look at either male. Sebastian temporarily forgot the risotto to turn and look at Seras in shock. "I was there the night my parents were killed and…I witnessed…a man…violating…my…mum's corpse." The little human said below a whisper. Again, the kitchen went silent as the males just stood there and stared at her in utter disbelief. "I haven't had any episodes since I was a kid. I also used to get a lot of…night terrors and wake up screaming. But…I haven't had any in a few years."

"Do you know what triggers those episodes so Alucard and I can be wary of what we say or do?" The demon asked.

"I haven't talked about this in a very long time, and it's bothering me a little now. But I don't know about any other triggers." She answered.

"Do you know of any ways for us to help calm you if you do have an episode?" Sebastian asked. He was disappointed when his mate shook her head.

"I don't know," She shrugged.

"I'll…do some research then." The demon muttered.

"I don't think I have any other triggers." Seras continued before she finally found the courage to look back up at Alucard and Sebastian. She gave them a small smile to help reassure them that she was okay. "I've had guys grab my ass, but…I don't think I would be too bothered if you guys did that." She then gave them a playful wink. To fully get off the topic of her deceased mother, Seras practically skipped over to the stove. "Is it almost ready, Sebastian? It smells great!"

"Um…Just a few more minutes." He muttered as he tried processing what he was just told. How is she being playful and cute after what she just told them? Was she an expert at burying her feelings? How much pain was she truly hiding from them? "Could you please get the lobster meat from the fridge?" He asked gently as he returned to stirring the risotto. "I'll also need butter, mascarpone cheese, and a lemon."

"No problem," She chirped as she gathered all that he asked for.

"Thank you," Sebastian whispered when she brought him all the ingredients. Slowly, he started incorporating all the ingredients while vigorously stirring it all together.

"How do you envision our relationship growing over time?" Alucard asked unexpectedly, helping to get their minds off the dreary topic from before.

"Hmn," Seras hummed as she thought about it. "We'll date more, grow closer, become more comfortable with each other, become more intimate, and eventually work up the courage to exchange 'I love yous'."

"Do you have dreams of marriage or becoming a mother at all?" The vampire asked.

"One day," The little human answered with a shrug.

"How many children would you want?" Alucard grinned at her.

"I think three would be good. I guess it mostly depends on the first two though." She laughed sweetly. "Why? How many would you want?"

"At least four or five." The No Life King purred while he stared at his mate lovingly.

"And you, Sebastian?" Seras asked.

"Like you, Seras, I would want to wait and see how the first two turn out." Sebastian snickered. "But marriage and children are probably far off in the future for you, right?"

"I'm not sure." His angel responded. "I haven't thought much about it, so I guess it's not my top priority."

"What are your current priorities then?" The demon asked.

"My job," Seras answered. And, she supposed, if things worked out, Alucard and Sebastian would be her priority as well. The girl thought with a sheepish smile.

"Dinner is done." Sebastian purred as he turned off the stove.

"Awesome! I'll grab the plates." The little human replied excitedly. The food smelled absolutely amazing and her stomach felt so empty. She was starving! Grabbing two of the plates from the table, she returned to Sebastian with a grin.

"You look awfully excited." The demon laughed as he plated the food beautifully.

"Humans love their food." Their mate giggled. "And this smells so good."

"Thank you for assisting me in the kitchen." Sebastian responded. "Perhaps you'll wish to do it again sometime?"

"Definitely! I'll have to check my schedule to see when is my next day off." Seras answered with a dark blush. Did they just set up a second date? As she untied her apron, Sebastian carried the plates of lobster risotto over to the table. He set one plate at the head and the second plate on the right side of the table, near the head. Afterwards, he pulled out the chair at the head of the table.

"My lady," The demon purred playfully as he gave her a wide smirk. Seras grabbed the bottle of white wine before heading to the table. The shy girl felt a little weird as she sat down only for him to push her chair back in. She's never had her chair pulled out for her before. Sebastian was so gentlemanly and she was so awkward. Etiquette, Seras tried reminding herself as she hesitantly pulled her cloth napkin into her lap. That's what people with etiquette do, right? She second guessed herself. She also reminded her to keep her back straight and to not put her elbows on the table. That would be incredibly rude.

As Sebastian sat down to her right, Alucard seated himself to her left with two blood bags in hand. Unlike her and Sebastian, the vampire only had a bowl in front of him. Seras watched him silently and curiously as Alucard tore open his bags to pour directly into the bowl. All the while, Sebastian was giving the No Life King a foul look for doing this at the table in front of her. The look in his eyes only darkened when the careless vampire discarded the empty bags to the side, keeping it in plain sight. To ease the demon, Seras placed a hand on top of his on the table. Once earning his attention, she lightly shook her head at him, telling him silently that she didn't mind what Alucard was doing. Sighing in defeat, Sebastian ignored the frustrating and rude vampire, and instead poured Seras a glass of wine.

"This is bâtard montrachet. It should pair well with the lobster risotto." The demon commented as a smile formed on his lips. He then poured himself a glass. "Alucard? Would you care for a glass?"

"Please," The No Life King responded as he pushed his empty glass towards the demon.

"You may start eating, Seras." Sebastian chuckled when realizing she hadn't taken a bite yet. "You don't have to wait for us."

"I just want to make sure everyone is situated first." The little human murmured bashfully with a sweet smile.

"We're situated. Go ahead and eat." The demon laughed as he gestured at her plate. That smile enlarged on her face before she eagerly picked up her fork and pierced some of the soft risotto with it. Unfortunately, her food was still steaming, so she had to patiently blow on it. The demon, however, took a bite of the steaming food and didn't even react to how hot it truly was. He simply sat there and smiled as he waited for her to try a bite. Using a spoon to consume his blood, Alucard snickered in amusement.

"Humans are such sensitive creatures." The No Life King chuckled to himself. Finally, once the food on her fork was cool enough, she took her first bite. Instantly, Seras' eyes widened. They could have sworn they even saw a sparkle there.

"Holy fu-" Their mate was quick to place a hand on her mouth to keep from swearing. She savored the purely divine and almost orgasmic taste in her mouth as she slowly chewed, needing to appreciate what she was eating for as long as possible. When she did finally swallow, she made a sound that suggested to Sebastian that she really enjoyed it…or was on the brink of coming. "Oh, my god!" Seras exclaimed as her eyes shot to the side to look at Sebastian. "It's so creamy and delicious! God, delicious isn't a good enough word to describe it! It's…heavenly!"

"Nectarous?" Sebastian suggested.

"Ambrosial?" Alucard assisted in helping her find the proper word.

"Yes!" The little human continued gushing over the meal. "I don't think I ever had anything this fucking good in my life!" Immediately realizing what she said, she again placed a hand on her mouth. "Oh, sorry for swearing." Instead of being offended, the demon gave a hearty laugh, purely enthralled by how much she loved his cooking. He was quite proud to have pleased his mate. "I have a habit of swearing when I get excited or angry." She uttered softly before taking another bite of the exquisite risotto.

"Personally, I don't like swearing, but you're an adult and that is your business. Besides, I'm not your parent. I'm not going to reprimand you for doing it." Sebastian assured her.

"And I necessarily don't care if you swear or not." Alucard spoke up while he tasted the wine Sebastian had selected for that night. Seras smiled softly. It was such a small act of respect and a sign of equality; a sign that they weren't going to be controlling or try to change her. As a woman, that meant a lot to her. "Do you have any fears?" The vampire asked out of curiosity.

"A few," Seras admitted softly, feeling shameful for being afraid of certain things. "I have a fear of home invasions, isolation, and I have severe claustrophobia." The girl then gave a sheepish smile. "I also have an inane fear of socializing, mostly because I worry about what people think of me."

"Why should you care what others think?" Alucard scoffed.

"It's kind of hard not to when you grow up with people who call you a freak or troubled to your face. It makes you start to wonder if you are those things and if you can function properly in society without others seeing you as a freak or troubled." Seras replied. "I am fully aware it's stupid to worry about such things. But sometimes it bothers me so much that I can't fall asleep at night."

"Did you have that same worry when you met us?" Sebastian asked.

"Oddly enough, no." Their mate answered with a bright smile. "I felt so…comfortable around you and Alucard. Yeah, I was nervous, but…I didn't worry about what you guys thought of me because I…" Alucard and Sebastian sat silently for a moment and stared at their blushing mate who wouldn't look at them. When she didn't finish that sentence, the demon pushed her a little.

"Because?" He asked softly.

"Because I could see in your eyes that you weren't thinking anything negative." Seras whispered as she remembered that look of utter adoration in their eyes when they looked at her. When the males smiled at her, her stomach fluttered with butterflies and her heart raced. "Do either of you have any fears?" She asked bashfully.

"Hardly," Alucard snickered in his glass.

"No," The demon answered. "You appear to be in perfectly good health, so I'm not entirely concerned about you perishing any time soon." The No Life King's demeanor changed instantly, however. The grin fell from his face as he looked at Michaelis in realization.

"She may be in perfect health, but she's not immune to death." Alucard reminded him. The demon glanced across the table at the vampire before a look of awareness shot across his face. "She could slip and fall in the shower, breaking her neck."

"The elevator could stop working, making her resort to taking the stairs. Seeing as how Seras is clumsy, she could fall and break her neck that way." Sebastian murmured to himself.

"Or the elevator cables could snap and she could plummet to her death." The elder vampire raised his voice from becoming so agitated. The little human's face paled when the males discussed all the possible ways she could die.

"Um," She muttered, but was hardly noticed as Alucard and Sebastian both seemingly started to panic.

"She could choke on her food." Alucard growled as he gestured at her plate.

"I'm right here," Seras reminded them with a wave, but the males were now in full panic.

"She could get hit by a car or get into a car accident." Sebastian added as he placed a hand over his mouth. It felt like his soul was shattering more with each possible way of her dying he could think of.

"She's a Police Girl. She could get shot." Alucard anxiously ran his fingers through his hair. Sebastian, on the other hand, tried coping by drinking his wine.

"She could go to the store or bank and end up a dead victim of a robbery." The demon muttered into his glass as he envisioned her broken, bloody body.

"And a piano could fall on my head! Or I could accidentally drop the toaster in the bathtub! Damn my absolute clumsiness! Why do I need to make toast while taking a bath?! I'm so stupid!" Seras joked. Alucard and Sebastian shifted their heads to look at their mate who smiled ever so warmly at them. "Nothing is going to happen to me." She promised while shaking her head.

"All humans think that, Seras!" The demon exclaimed. To her, he actually looked afraid. Did Alucard and Sebastian care about her that much that they were afraid she was going to die any minute? "You are not immune to death! Anything could happen at any point!"

"And?" Seras asked with a shrug. "Yes, there is that slim chance that I will die by some freak accident or some average causality. But you can't be afraid of…"

"Losing someone who I have grown fond of?" Sebastian interrupted her. "I believe the average human is always afraid of losing a loved one. Why should it be any different for us? Why are we not allowed to worry about such a thing? Do you think because we are monsters we are incapable of caring or showing fear when it comes to the possibility of loss?"

"No, of course not." Seras corrected him. "I just don't want you guys having to worry about that."

"Why?" The demon asked with one of his brows arched.

"What kind of life or…relationship is that if you're constantly worried about me dying? It's not like you can cover me in bubble wrap or watch my every move." The little human responded. "The chances of me dying any of the ways you guys listed are slim. I'm not a careless person and I am very capable of taking care of myself. I haven't so much as broken a bone in my whole life." She did refuse to tell them that she had been shot, though. There was no need to make them worry all over again. "I'll be fine. Now, why don't we just relax and enjoy our date, okay?" Alucard and Sebastian were ever so silent as they sat there with clear worry in their eyes. Different ways of how she could die played out in their minds, but they didn't voice the possibilities to her this time.

"Earlier," Seras started, drawing the males' attention back onto her. Her gaze lifted to look at the demon. "You asked me about my physical boundaries. I have to ask, how would you both want me to show you affection?" She gave him a small smile, hoping he would stop focusing on her mortality. She was successful. The demon graced her with a smirk and he snickered at her in amusement. "Do you like holding hands or hugging?" She asked as her eyes flickered from Sebastian to Alucard. "I know some people don't like hugging. I just want to make sure I'm respecting your boundaries."

"I don't particularly like hugging, but I wouldn't mind a hug from you, especially if you need one." Sebastian informed her.

"Hugging and handholding is perfectly fine with me. I greatly appreciate how you can look me in the eye, and I do love your smiles." Alucard added. "It makes me know that you're not afraid of me, and that eases me." Seras nodded her head in affirmation.

"Having you close," The demon spoke up. "Even if we aren't kissing or hugging, having you close to me would be enough."

"I second that," The No Life King purred with a toothy grin. "I also don't mind when you flirt with us."

"It's adorable." Sebastian agreed while chuckling. "When you wink or even smile the way you do; I adore the way you flirt so subtly."

"Okay," Seras nodded as she mentally took notes. "What about playing with your hair or a hand on the thigh? Cupping your face?"

"All fine," The demon laughed at his precious mate.

"Especially the hand on the thigh part." Alucard snickered. "You can grab my ass too for all I care. I don't mind."

"Is there anyplace you guys don't like to be touched?" Seras asked.

"Well, I think that mostly depends on you." Sebastian muttered as he gestured at her. "I don't mind where you touch me, but I want you to be comfortable doing it. How would you feel about grabbing my horns while we're making out?" Seras' face instantly heated with a dark blush.

"We'll kiss in your demon form?" The little human asked softly. At first he thought she was scared or bothered. But when he saw that large bashful smile spread across her face, he knew she was intrigued and possibly excited to makeout with him in that form.

"I hope that we do. I want you to be comfortable with both sides of me, Seras." Sebastian explained to her.

"I don't mind if you want to do that." The timid blonde whispered as her eyes sparkled with lust. "Maybe we can try it after dinner?" So soon?! Sebastian thought in shock as his eyes flew open wide. Did she really desire to kiss him in that form?

"Most definitely," He whispered thoughtlessly, unaware that he even spoke. His eyes then glanced down at her empty plate. "Would you like more risotto?"

"I really would, thanks." Seras smiled brightly at him. Taking her plate, Sebastian got up to get her some more risotto.

"I think we should each discuss our love language so we have a better understanding of each other." The demon suggested.

"Love language?" The small blonde questioned as Sebastian returned to the table with her plate of risotto.

"A love language is how someone expresses love, and knowing it could help strengthen a relationship. There are five known love languages." The demon noted as he held up five fingers. "The first is expressing love through words, messages, letters, and compliments. The second, spending time with one another, giving your full undivided attention, and making eye contact. The third is physical touch, which I don't think I need to explain, but is holding hands, hugging, and closeness. The fourth, doing physical acts such as: cooking dinner for or with someone, helping with the dishes, or whatever else to make a person feel loved and appreciated. The fifth and final one is gift giving." Sebastian lowered his hand. "People express their love in different ways. Some have trouble expressing their love verbally, but they can show it through acts or even gift giving, maybe even physical touch. I would very much like to know how you express love to someone. What is your love language, Seras?"

"Hmn," Seras hummed as she thought about it carefully. "I think…I'm a little of each. I think sending messages or leaving notes of love to someone I care about is cute, but I'm also not afraid to tell a person I love that I love him. I believe quality time is important, and we discussed how we would like to show or receive affection physically."

"You've already proven to be a gift giver as well." Alucard spoke as he glanced over at the bouquets of flowers she had given him and Michaelis.

"And physical acts," Sebastian added. "You wanted to help me with dinner." He then nodded his head. "Yes, it does appear that you take a little from each category. But do you think you do one more than the others?"

"I don't know," Seras shrugged. "I've never been in a relationship and I don't have a family. So, it's hard to say, but…I think quality time would be the most important to me, as well as expressing affection verbally. I would want the person I love to know. I guess that's my love language."

"Is there a love language in particular you would need your partner to express?" Sebastian asked.

"I guess if it had to be any of them, it would be communication." The little human answered. "I would like it if that person expressed their feelings verbally to me, but I know that's hard for some people and I wouldn't want to force that person."

"Of the five, I think the ones I express the most are: physical touch, physical acts, and gift giving. And though I do find communication important, I am not one to always express my feelings. I will, however, make an effort to be more communicative so you are aware of how I feel." Sebastian told her with a smile.

"You don't feel that you communicate or express enough?" Seras asked with furrowed brows. "I feel as if you have been very communicative and expressive, especially with the meaning behind the flowers you gave me."

"This is still very new to me, but I want you to know how I feel." The demon replied. "Do you think I've been sharing too much of how I feel?"

"Not at all!" Seras chuckled. "It's alright to feel this way and it's okay to express it. You're not making me uncomfortable at all."

"Good," Sebastian sighed in relief.

"What about you, Alucard?" The small blonde asked as she shifted her head to look at the vampire. "What's your love language?"

"Physical touch," Alucard purred with a large grin. "That's how I express myself and how I like my lovers to express themselves as well." The No Life King's gazed lowered while he mindlessly swirled the wine in his glass. "I don't mind quality time either, even if it's in utter silence." The grin shrunk a little as he fell deeper into his thoughts. "I haven't told anyone I loved them in centuries. I thought I was incapable of it for so long until I met Mina. And after she betrayed me and assisted in capturing me, I grew hateful and believed I could never love another." Alucard's hellish red eyes flickered to the side to meet Seras' gaze. Physical touch may never be enough for her. She had already said she wanted a person to express themselves verbally. She needs to know if a person loves her, not through touch, but by communication. "One day, I'll be able to say it to you. But first I need to see how this relationship will turn out."

"That's understandable," Seras whispered with a nod. "You've been hurt and betrayed far too many times. You take all the time you need. Besides, it's far too early in the relationship to even say those three little words." Alucard stared at her for a moment or two. Even though what she said eased him, he didn't look happy in the slightest.

"Seras," The No Life King spoke, sounding ever so serious. "I think it's time for you to see our most monstrous sides. Then you will know if you want to proceed in this relationship."

"Alucard, she just finished her dinner. Give her some time." Sebastian advised. He was worried that if she did see them in that way, she would involuntarily empty her stomach all over the floor.

"Actually, after what was discussed, I think now is a perfect time. I'm ready." Seras announced with a look of determination in her eyes. Placing her napkin on the table, their mate stood up. "Let's do this, and then afterwards I'll help you cleanup, Sebastian."

"Are you sure you're ready for this, Seras?" Sebastian asked, looking greatly uncertain. There was no going back once they did this, and he was terribly afraid Seras would look upon them in complete and utter horror. He wasn't ready to see her look at them in repulsion.

"I'm ready," Seras promised, still ever so confident in her decision. Unable to look her in the eye, the demon stared in anguish at his plate.

"Before you see us, know that…we would never hurt you, Seras. I want more than anything for this to work between us. I'm sorry for the ghastly thing that I am. It had never concerned me until I met you. I want your love and acceptance so much. It's such a strange feeling for me, wanting those things from another being. I've never felt like this in my entire existence. But I know what it is that I want when it comes to you." Sebastian whispered.

"Sebastian," His mate reached out to place a hand on his shoulder. She opened her mouth, wanting to reassure him, but how could she? She didn't know how she would react when seeing them. Sighing, the girl looked away from him. "We can't keep pushing this back. You said that you want me to be comfortable in whatever form you guys are in. Let me adapt. If…I am…afraid, I…" She trailed off. What would she do if she was terrified? Run? Pass out? Or just sit there silently and stare at them in horror? Seras' frown deepened. "I will remember how you and Alucard feel and how you make me feel in return. I'll remember that you guys are probably far more afraid than I am because you want this to work so badly."

"Why don't…you take your wine and head into the living room." Sebastian suggested softly. "And don't worry about the dishes. The kitchen is already cleaned." Confused, Seras' brows furrowed together before she glanced to the side to look at the kitchen. It was immaculate.

"What?! When did you do that?!" Seras asked in disbelief of what she was seeing. Was this an illusion?

"As you said jokingly earlier, I have my own cheat codes." The demon responded with a small smirk. Getting up from his seat, he grabbed her wine glass and handed it to her. "Please, go get comfortable in the living room." Taking a sip of her wine to help build up her courage, Seras retreated to the living room. What should she expect? Was she relying too much on her feelings? What if she was wrong and she can't stand the sight of them? It made her feel horrible to think such a thing. She really liked Alucard and Sebastian. Surely her feelings will overcome her fear, right? Feeling a little nervous now, Seras seated herself on the sofa as she prepared herself. She took another desperate swig of her wine to help further calm her. She heard the chairs scrape against the floor as the males got up from their seats.

From the corner of her eye she saw movement, but her attention was drawn onto something else entirely. The wall in front of was overtaken by a thick, black mass. It spread across the wall and furniture. It was as if the mass was its own lifeforms because it writhed and moved in such strange ways, like a wild animal trapped beneath a black blanket. Staring at it, she became compelled and gawked at it in silent amazement. Before her eyes, the mass shapeshifted and morphed into strange looking creatures with sharp teeth and black flames. Eyes of all shapes opened to stare at her. The air became ice cold, causing her to get gooseflesh. The little human shivered, but didn't dare take her eyes off the wall with the grotesque eyes and monstrous creatures.

"Seras," A familiar demonic voice reached her ears. Finally, she tore her gaze away from the freakish mass to look at the dark haired males. Purely stunned by the sight of them, her eyes widened and she nearly dropped her wine glass. Careful as to not spill any wine on the white and blue Persian rug, she quickly set it on the coffee table. She then looked back at the monsters.

Alucard stood there so nonchalantly while wearing a leather straitjacket and having an enormous looking black, monstrous dog sticking out of his right shoulder. The 'dog', if she could call it that, had enormous sharp teeth and a head full of red eyes. It was snarling and drooling as it lightly moved, waiting for orders from its master. The vampire's hair had grown so long that it was to his feet. And coming from Alucard's shadow were hundreds, maybe even thousands, of crawling centipedes. The sound of those beastly little things chittering and scurrying made her skin crawl.

Sebastian looked the exact same way he did last night when she first met him. The only difference this time around was that he had…friends. The shadowy creatures she saw dancing and writhing along the wall belonged to him. Those black flames surrounded his entire body while horrific creatures formed and changed, making her believe that they would be screeching if they had the vocal cords to do so. Alucard and Sebastian ever so calmly stood there and stared at her as she took them all in. There was already a look of utter defeat, disappointment, and anguish in their gazes while they frowned at her. Her eyes bounced back and forth, studying one male and then the other, for a long few minutes. She looked at the hellhound to the centipedes to the shadowy creatures. Time felt like it stood still in that small moment. And then, finally, Seras broke that silence.

"There is one thing that…I don't like." Their mate whispered before she stood up. Alucard and Sebastian were shocked when Seras walked towards them. She was willing to come so close to them in these forms?

"And that is?" Sebastian asked softly, not wishing to frighten her away. The little human then pointed at the floor, gesturing at the centipedes.

"That freaks me out." Seras admitted before she frowned at Alucard. "I'm guessing that they're a part of you, so I'm sorry if that was rude to say. I just don't really like insects and bugs, especially ones that come out of a man's shadow." Their mate then visibly shuddered. A soft smile appeared on Alucard's lips and he snickered at her.

"You are an unusual girl, Seras." The No Life King whispered. "Here are two monsters before you and the only thing that you're afraid of are the centipedes? Not us or even the heaving hellhound that is coming out of my person?"

"And how can you stand so close to us without being scared?" Sebastian asked. Their mate's frown deepened and her eyes dropped to stare at the floor as she gathered her thoughts.

"Do you think that…I'm broken?" Seras asked. "Maybe there's something wrong with me?" The little angel pulled back her head to look back at the males. "You're not scary to me. You're both still Alucard and Sebastian to me, and…I like them."

"I don't think you're broken." Sebastian whispered as he cautiously reached out. His long black fingers brushed over her cheek. He was careful not to nick her with his talons. To his amazement, Seras didn't shy away or even flinch. Instead, she leaned into his tender touch, seeking more affection. His smile transitioned into a large smirk and he snickered. "Absolutely marvelous. You're not afraid."

"Perhaps it's because you're our mate." Alucard whispered. "Something deep inside of you knows you don't have to be afraid of us." He also reached out to cup the other side of her face. A warm, cute smile spread across Seras' face. Happily, she cupped the males' hands as she fully enjoyed their attention.

"I'm not afraid." She practically purred with such a pleased look in her stunning eyes, enchanting the men with her beauty. That beautiful smile slowly became a wicked one. "Since I passed the test, maybe you can show me how a vampire feeds." The girl then 'casually' shifted her head to the side to bare her throat for him. Alucard's eyes widened and he gasped under his breath. Did she truly want him to bite her?! Eagerness swelled in his eyes while something a little more south of his person swelled with arousal.

"Are you sure, Seras?" Alucard asked with a large grin on his face.

"I want to know what it's like and you look really excited to do it." Seras laughed. "Please," She begged softly.

"As you wish," The No Life King purred before he maneuvered around his mate. Pressing his front to her back, Alucard slowly leaned down to brush his lips over her hot throat. "I promise you, it will be nothing but pleasure. A vampire's bite has that effect on humans." He then sank his fangs into her soft flesh. The second he tasted her blood on his tongue, Alucard melted into his mate. He wrapped his long arms around her petite body, closed his eyes, and enjoyed the hot, ambrosial blood that practically pumped straight into his mouth. The little human shuddered in pleasure. She never imagined his fangs to feel this incredibly good in her throat. Instead of pain or discomfort, it was as if her entire throat was one erogenous point. Her stomach dithered in delight while her netherregions trembled in anticipation.

The pleasure was briefly forgotten when Sebastian took both of Seras' hands. The little human cracked open her eyes to look at the smirking demon. Without a word spoken between them, the demon carefully pulled his angel's hands up over his head. Seras, The brilliant girl she was, understood him perfectly and latched onto his horns. Then, lovingly, Sebastian leaned down to press his lips against hers. He wanted nothing more but to say those three little words to her, but that would be sure to scare her off, right? Instead, he settled on saying something else to his beloved.

"I look forward to our next date, my angel."
