"AGHHH!!!"

Kratos let out a mighty war cry, as he jumped out from his ambushed position and started attacking and wrestling a bear, which the large beast let out loud roars and struggled to throw him off himself, a futile endeavor, since after he managed to get a proper hold on the animal, it was simple child's play; he didn't even budge an inch from all the thrashing. Of course, he wasn't one to prolong someone's death and make it unnecessarily long, so in one or two quick motions, he pulled out a crudely made hunting knife made of stone and slit the throat of the large mammal.

"Hm…"

Kratos let go of the bear and watched it fall to the ground; the beast struggled a moment longer for life, but was soon dead at the end. Once the life had left its eyes, Kratos simply grabbed its arm and started to drag his kill away from the area. Most likely, he would use its meat and fur when he got home. Luckily for him, he didn't have to walk too far to get back to his cabin.

"Long time no see, Sir Kratos."

When he returned to his home, he was met by a certain Umbra Witch that he had not seen in quite some time; her name was Rosa, and she simply stood by the entrance, seemingly carrying a basket or two of supplies.

"Out hunting again?"

The Ghost of Sparta soon let Rosa into his home, offering her a place to sit as he set about preparing the bear for skinning and removing the meat. The magical woman watched him with a hum.

"In only a month and it seems you've made the cabin your own place, not that I mind it, I did give you my home after all."

Rosa leaned against the chair she had been sitting in and couldn't help but admire and notice how much the cabin had changed since the last time she was there, looking impressed.

"Though it seems this place isn't the only thing that changed after saving you."

However, her interest quickly went towards the God of War himself.

"A full beard definitely makes you quite the attractive man to look at, a shame that I already have a lover, I wouldn't mind having you belong to me~"

Even though Rosa was wearing a mask that covered most of her face, it wasn't hard to tell the type of teasing smile she was expressing; it was honestly distracting for the Spartan.

"Is there something you need from me, woman?"

Kratos paused his work and simply looked at the Umbra Witch with a slight annoyed glare.

"Cold as always, heh."

Rosa sighed and shook her head, before reaching down and picking up the basket she had brought in earlier.

"But to answer your question, no, I came over only to visit and see how you were doing, while also dropping off some supplies, like medicines, food and other things that might be of use to you."

Rosa then handed him the basket, which he took and looked through.

"Hm."

Without saying anything else, Kratos simply placed the baskets on his table and returned to what he had been working on.

"Rude one are you, not even a thank you?"

Rosa let out a mocking pout as she saw how coldly he treated her generosity; all he did was grunt in response.

"And to think I was kind enough to get you a gift."

Though what Rosa said next definitely caught his attention, as he looked back at her and saw her holding a neatly wrapped gift, which she held out to him.

"A gift?"

Kratos was more confused and suspicious than he was happy to see anyone giving him a gift; the magical woman would always find it amusing to see him act so paranoid.

"Nothing much really, just a little something to help you with hunting and get your hands a little less dirty."

Rosa then just tossed the box to the God of War once she realized that he wouldn't get it himself; he caught it when thrown, and after a moment of harshly staring at the gift, he opened it.

"A gun?"

And what Kratos found was a gun that had almost God-like design to it; this was definitely surprising to him, not only to be given a gun, but a weapon that was obviously powerful – he did not understand why he was given such a thing.

"Don't tell me you're one of those types of people who only use traditional melee weapons?"

The way Rosa continues to speak to him, either lets him know that the weapon wasn't all that powerful, or that she has complete faith in him that he wouldn'd use it against her.

"Weapons are nothing more than tools, I do not have favorites."

Kratos still didn't know how to react to this either way, a bit stumped on what he should do about this gift he had been given.

"Well then you better put my tool to good use, Sir Kratos, hmph~"

But it seemed it had been already decided for him, as Rosa made it very clear that she wanted him to have it and use it for whatever purpose he deemed fit for it, having no arguments against it, or having a reason not to accept it; he simply nodded and equipped his new weapon to his arsenal, which definitely made the Umbra Witch happy.

"Now then, since I'm here, let me help you prepare that bear of yours, I can probably make you a fine cape that would be fitting for your nice body."

Now with all that settled and being in a much better mood, Rosa confidentally walked up and passed the Spartan, taking a seat next to the dead bear and picking up a knife, ready to start cutting the animal.

"That won't be neces-"

"Yes yes, I know you big brute, how about you just accept my kindness and let us have fun with each other, hm?"

Rosa waved off Kratos's denial to accept her help, clearly not paying any attention to him as he tried to explain, he could only sigh, walking over and sitting next to her.

"... As you wish."

Not wishing to argue any further, Kratos simply picked up his spare knife and started cutting, while the magical woman did the same.

"Now then, are you planning to keep the head?"

Rosa seemed to be focused on skinning and removing the fur from the bear; she was careful and skillful in her work.

"No."

Kratos seemed more interested in cutting and removing the meat, while also separating it into what he deemed useful or not, to either eat or otherwise.

"Good, then I shall take it and feed it to my pets, they do like their head meat."

And with nothing more to say, both Rosa and Kratos sat next to each other in peace and silence; neither had any reason to talk or say anything more to each other, but that didn't mean it felt uncomfortable. They were still technically strangers, and the trust they had for one another could be questionable, but it was enough for the Ghost of Sparta to allow the Umbra Witch to do whatever she wished without resistance, and even say "this" to her.

"... Thank you…"

"You're very welcome, Sir Kratos."

I decided to give Kratos a gun, I mean, spending time with Rosa and becoming friends more or less, I feel like he would receive one as a gift from her, of course I won't give him just a ordinary glock and start busting some caps like a gangster, I am planning to give him something more fitting for his character, maybe a Musket with a bayonet tip, or a nock volley gun, there's also that Godkiller Gun from Drive Angry, but I'm open to suggestions if you think otherwise?

(BTW, to clear this up now, Kratos will adopt Bayonetta, aka Cereza, only because if I go the romantic route, there might be a possibility of no Atreus, or at the very least no Kratos of meeting Faye, of course if you think otherwise, let me know please)
