Chapter 2
-1991 Diagon Alley
'Hogwarts, dear?' Mrs Malkin asked a young redhaired girl walked into the store. Malkin smiled.
'Are you coming? There are still changing rooms available at the back.'
The little girl nodded and followed Mrs Malkin to the back of the store. When she came in, she saw a blond boy with pale skin sitting on a chair.
'Hello, are you going to Hogwarts too?' the boy asked.
'Yes', the redhead replied.
The boy smiled and said: 'My mother went next door to buy books and my father went next door to look at wands. Then I'll take them to broomsticks. I don't see why first years shouldn't be on the quidditch team. I'm thinking of asking my dad for a new broom and smuggling it to Hogwarts.'
'I think I agree with you', the girl said.
'Do you play Quidditch?'
'I am good as keeper… But I don't play often, unless my nephew can keep his eyes off the library. He's a pretty good seeker.'
'Interesting. My dad says it's a crime if I don't make the team. Do you already know which you will be in?'
'Well, my dad said I look like him, so I think Gryffindor. You?'
'Slytherin, my whole family was there', the boy replied proudly, before offering her his hand. 'Draco Malfoy is my name.'
'The redhead grinned and said: 'Eleanor Potter, a pleasure to meet you.'
Draco opened his eyes as Malkin and her assistant looked up with surprised looks. The assistant accidentally stabbed Draco with a pin when she wasn't looking.
'Ouch! Pay attention!' Draco snapped before he turned back to Eleanor.
'Are you Harry Potter's niece?'
Eleanor's eyes darkened.
'So what? The real hero my aunt, he said. It was she who protect him.'
'Oh… I guess so', Draco muttered. 'Where' s your nephew?'
'My mom and dad went shopping some potion stuff with him.'
'And may I ask who your father and mother are?' he asked.
'Alexander Potter and Petunia Potter', Eleanor replied.
-Flourish and Blotts-
'Okay, let mee see that book list again', said Alex.
A little boy with messy black hair and bright green eyes handed him the list. Alex looked at the list and said: 'I'll take care of it, Harry.'
'Would you go and look for books for you and for your niece? I think Eleanor wanted something about Quidditch. Would you grabbed a book for me from the potion section?'
'Yes of course! I already left!'
Harry ran away.
It took about a few minutes to find books for himself and Eleanor and walked to the potions sector.
When he found the book his uncle wanted, Harry walked around for a while. He saw the joke section and went to it.
He knew that a funny book the only way to get Eleanor to read about potions. His niece and uncle had been a waging an joke battle for centuries. And they had begged him to help, but he always refuses to escape the chaos.
