Robotropolis

Note: I decided to change my Dinosaur King back to normal, because I realized that I liked it better that way. But I do a lot of original chapters planned.

(Ayla's POV)

*The sun started to peek through the clouds as the rain stopped*

Sonic: Thanks for saving us there, Knuckles.

Knuckles: Yeah, that's one more job I won't get paid for. But I've known you for a while so I'll just put it on your tab and you can pay me back later on.

Ayla: Along with all the other tabs we owe you.

Tails: So are you going back to treasure hunting now?

Knuckles: Of course. Finding treasure is my absolute favorite past time.

*Just then, we saw a glare behind us. We turned around & saw that the sun started to set. Knuckles put in sunglasses*

Tails: The sun's already setting. We're starting to run out of time!

Knuckles: What's that? Look at it.

*Just then, we saw the shadow of a tall structure in the distance*

Ayla: That's gotta be Robotroplis.

Sonic: Scary.

*Suddenly, everything started shaking. Then lights turned on all over the city. Some of them made the big round shape of Dr. Robotnik himself*

Ayla: Not to mention ugly.

Sonic: I hope we see you again soon, Knuckles.

*He zoomed off*

Knuckles: See ya.

Tails: We'll see ya later, Knuckles!

Ayla: Bye!

*Tails flew with his tails & I got on my board. We started to fly through the city. Just then, Knuckles appeared next to us*

Tails: Knuckles!?

Knuckles: Hey. I couldn't send you guys into that place alone. Let's go!

*He flew ahead of us. *Tails & I giggled. he's really sweet, even though he doesn't like to show it* Come on! What are you waiting for!? We've gotta get moving or the robot generator's going to explode.

Sonic: Wait up, Knuckles!

*We all flew through the city until we reached a metal gate*

Ayla: This has got to be then entrance to Robotroplis.

Tails: I never expected Robotnik to live in such an amazing place.

Knuckles: Careful. You don't wanna get too blown away.

Sonic: You're right. Come on, let's go!

*We dove down into a metal tunnel & Tails looked at the Navigator again*

Tails: We're on the right track. Just keep going straight.

Sonic: Got it!

Ayla: Let's go!

*We went down a long ramp*

Knuckles: I'm getting seriously pumped up about this, guys!

Sonic: Just don't enjoy yourself so much you let your guard down!

Knuckles: I'll be fine! *suddenly, we were attacked by robot snails firing lasers at us* Leave these guys to me! You go on ahead!

Sonic: Right! Good luck!

*While Knuckles took care of the snails, we found the robot generator. It was a room that was completely lit up red & it was shaking & smoking. Not to mention counting down. Sonic zoomed towards it. Suddenly, a treadmill started to move under his feet, pulling him towards the machine*

Ayla: Sonic!

*Suddenly, two metal arms came out of the machine & grabbed me*

Tails: Ayla!

*He tried to save both of us, but got caught on the treadmill, bumping into Sonic & pushing him closer to the machine*

Sonic: Tails! Come on! Fly!

Tails: Oh, you're right! *he flew towards a lever & tried to pull it, but wouldn't budge* It's too heavy!

*Sonic & I tried to get free, but we were stuck. Suddenly, Knuckles came crashing through a hole in the stone wall*

Knuckles: Hang on!

*He flew towards Tails & helped him pull down the lever just before the countdown reached 0. The machine cooled down & the metal arm dropped me. Luckily, my brother caught me. Suddenly, we were encased in a green container as the power went down*

Knuckles: Don't worry! I'll have you out of there in no time! *he ran towards us on treadmill, which was still moving. meanwhile, we were being zapped by their machine. soon, it stopped. Then the machine broke apart as it released us. we fell into the casam below, but Knuckles caught up* Gotcha!

*The machine completely fell apart & fell into the casam*

Tails: Sonic, Ayla, are you alright!?

*Suddenly, a glowing black ball, sparking with green lightning appeared where the machine once stood. Two figures were inside the ball*

Knuckles: Something's moving in there!

*The figures were revealed to be a male robot that looked exactly like my brother & a female robot that looked exactly like me (look up "Metal Ayla" by "SwanGirl24" on "DeviantArt")*

Tails: Two robots that look exactly like Sonic and Ayla!

Knuckles: They came out of that sphere!

*Sonic & I were both speechless as we stared at our metal twins. Then we heard a very familiar laugh echoing through the room*

Metal Robotnik:*off-screen* A ND ANOTHER THING.

*He laughed again & sparkles rained down*

Knuckles: What is that?

Tails: It's pretty. *then a bunch of floating lights that looked like blue flames appeared. then they flew off in one direction. then we heard the laughing again & the shadow of Metal Robotnik appeared, with one glowing red eye* I think it's the ghost of Metal Robotnik!

Ayla: Don't be silly, Tails. There's no such thing as ghosts, especially robot ghosts*

*Then the real Metal Robotnik rose out of the ground, looking completely messed up, but it turned it was being held up by a bunch of Robotnik's robots. Then they dropped it. Most of them ran away & some got crushed. The littlest one stood in front of it, looking confused. Then it looked up, seeing Metal Robotnik falling & ran away, scared. Then the giant robot completely broke apart while falling to the ground*

Tails: It just broke apart.

*Suddenly, we heard two very familiar voices coming out of the rubble*

?:*off-screen* Just where do you think you're putting your hands!?

?:*off-screen* I'm sorry!

*Tails & I looked at Sonic, who shrugged. Then a very familiar looking cat tail sticking out of the rubble. Then Sara came out, pulling Robotnik by his mustache*

Ayla: Sara!?

*She turned towards us & smiled*

Tails: What are Sara and Robotnik doing out her together!?

Knuckles: I get it! So you two were both Metal Robotnik!

*Suddenly, Sara started crying like a baby. I rolled my eyes. Sonic & Tails looked at Knuckles, who looked away, embarrassed*

Tails: Look at that, Knuckles. Now you've made her cry.

Sara: No, it wasn't my fault. Metal Robotnik and the robot generator going haywire were all part of Robotnik's evil scheme.

*We all glared at Robotnik*

Ayla: I knew it! This was all a trick!

Sonic: So what about this plot, Robotnik!?

Dr. Robotnik:*laughing* You fell for my trap! You came all the way here and now you'll die here! Good job, Sonic and Ayla!

Sonic: What did you say!?
