Our story begins with a young Trainer riding on a bicycle through the fields of the Hoenn Region. This Trainer is named Brendan. He's on a journey to become the Champion of Hoenn's Pokemon League. He is accompanied by his Manectric, Volbeat, Flygon, and his Torchic. However, despite their peaceful journey, little did they know about the great dangers that lay ahead. Elsewhere, deep beneath the surface of a volcano's lava, a large red Pokemon sensed imbalance and let out a roar. At the same time, deep beneath the surface of the ocean, a large blue Pokemon also sensed the imbalance and roared. In the skies above, the sun was covered by dark clouds. Amongst them, lightning struck, giving the silhouette of a green dragon-like Pokemon. Black lines along its body lit up before it let out a brilliant flash of light.
