Hey guys, Kurama here with the remade version of Pokemon: New Life Hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

"Talk, now!" someone says

"Go Golduck, Attack!" Someone says.

"Thoughts," Someone says.

Let's begin!

-Next morning-

I wake up, feeling refreshed as I then grab my backpack and put it over my shoulders, ready for another day of traveling.

The goal of today is to at least get through Viridian Forest while also getting some new Pokemon.

I think I can get a few Grass type Pokemon in the forest but if that's not possible, then I can at least grab either a Scyther or a Heracross.

I'm leaning more towards Heracross 'cause it's dual typing being a fighting type, which will help tremendously in my battle against Brock.

Tall luscious trees, grass that wasn't too long, full open clearing paths through the forest.

I could definitely see the touch of man in this place.

But at the same time, the busy sounds of the city were left behind and replaced by the sounds of nature.

Wind rustling through the grass and trees, the running of streams in the distance, and of course, the cacophony of different sounds made by pokemon.

I could discern the chirps of many a Pidgey as I trekked through the forest.

But most I couldn't recognize because the many sounds clashed together so often it was hard to tell one from another other.

"We should probably go a bit further in the forest, catch a few Pokemon and then set up camp. Whaddya say?" I ask my partner, whose ears have been twitching ever since we arrived here.

Mimicking what he's doing, I stop talking and listen intently.

..B..z.

.

..

...

..Bzz.

...

...

Bzzzzzzzz!

A buzzing sound coming from the distance, getting closer and closer as the moments ticked by.

We keep quiet until it was right on top of us, and at the peak loudness, I caught sight of a yellow blur shooting over the clearing we where in.

"A Beedrill!" I exclaim.

Before it could get away from my line of sight though, I take out both Spearow and Pidgey's Pokeballs from my newly acquired Pokeball belt.

It cost me 10 Pokedollars at Viridian City so I bought it to make sure that I wouldn't be searching for my Pokeballs in case situations like this happened.

"Spearow, Pidgey, time for combat." I shout, pressing on the middle part of the two Pokeballs, letting my two birds materialize into the world as they let out a powerful squawk of power to show off their domninance.

"Pidgey, start things off with Gust and Spearow, use the wind to power up your Wing Attack!" I order them both.

Pidgey fires off a powerful gust of wind as Spearow uses that to propel himself even further to where Beedrill and slams itself onto the Bee Pokemon.

As they both fall down, Pidgey comes to the rescue, using Whirlwind to give Spearow's wings as he does a loop de loop to recover.

Meanwhile, the dual poison and bug type lets out loose a buzzing shriek of pain but

somehow, its wings flickers to life and halts its fall though once it was half way down.

"Beeeeeeeedrill!" It hollers angrily, red gem like eyes focusing on me and Pikachu.

Bad idea.

"Pidgey, Gust, Pikachu, Thunder Shock and Spearow, Aerial Ace. Full Power." I order my three Pokemon as they all get to action, attacking Beedrill in unison.

Pikachu fires off a small jolt of electricity from its cheeks as Spearow once again rams itself onto Beedrill while Pidgey fires a powerful gust of wind at the Bee Pokemon.

Beedrill shakes its head, stabbing its lances into the grass, puncturing the ground like a hot knife through butter and pushed itself up.

It meets my eyes with those amazingly vibrant red ones it had and I couldn't stop myself from grinning,

"You're all mine, Beedrill."

It buzzes its wings at my words and then its eyes began to grow an even darker red.

And then a pair of lasers shot from its eyes, each as big as my head!

"Drill!" Beedrill buzzes angrily and uses its lances to push off the ground and zips towards us, crimson red energy beginning to glow around its arm lances.

But it's interrupted again by Spearow before it could reach us.

"Spearow!" the tiny red winged bird smashes face first into the Beedrill's back, beak glowing white and ploughs it into the ground, flaring his wings back and crying out in victory as it falls limp beneath his attack.

I grab an empty pokeball from my Pokeball belt and enlarge it.

Walking over, not trusting my accuracy with how my hands are shaking lightly from adrenaline and excitement, I touch the empty red and white sphere to the downed Bee pokemon and it clicks open, sucking the pokemon inside it within a beam of red light and shutting with a loud click, the white button in the middle glowing crimson red.

It begins to shake.

Once, twice, three times, four times, five, six, and finally after the seventh, it let loose a click and the capture was a success.

I pick up the pokeball while grinning,

"Let's see what we've got here," I said, pulling out my phone and bringing up the profiles of my captured pokemon.

I could just scan it with the pokedex, but I get a bit of a kick out of seeing these pokemon and their icons under my ownership.

"Beedrill, the Poison Bee Pokemon. Its legs have become poison stingers. It stabs its prey repeatedly with the stingers on its limbs, dealing the final blow with the stinger on its rear. Gender: Male, Height: 3'03- Attacks Known: Bug Bite, Fury Attack, Harden, String Shot, Fury Cutter, Laser Focus, Poison Sting, Focus Energy, Venoshock, Twineedle, Rage, Pursuit and Peck. Egg moves: None. This Beedrill has the ability Swarm and is level 23.

Oh right.

I forgot about Pidgey, Pikachu and Spearow.

"Hey, thanks you guys. We've got a successful capture and from what my Pokedex, it seems to be a powerful one, just like you guys." I congradulate my frienda, who puff up their chests in response.

I heal them both with a Potion and we continue our trek to finding a place to set up camp.

"Spearow, Pidgey, can you two go ahead and scout the area ahead of us?" I ask them, panting slightly as they accept the mission and fly on ahead of us in search of a place to set up camp.

While they're doing that, I take a moment of rest since this body isn't the most athletic.

I mean, it is but it isn't, you know what I kean?

My body is very much anime-like but I don't have the stamina to keep doing an activity for too long.

This is something that I'm gonna have to remedy pretty soon, otherwise I won't live long enough to regret it.

Spearow and Pidgey returned, my first bird landing on my shoulder first and outright beginning to excitedly whack my head with his wing?

"Pidg pidg pidg!" He chants, cuffing and pulling at my hair and directing me around.

"Fuck! Alright, calm down!" I raise my hand and block his next whack, "Did you find something then?"

"Row!" Spearow nods from my other shoulder, pointing off further into the forest.

"Right let's go then guys!" I shout, bending down and heaving my backpack up onto my back again and get to running.

Pidgey and Spearow directed me through the forest for a good hundred feet, off the beaten path laid out by human hand and deeper into untamed nature.

It was quite a pain to get through all the foliage, bushes and tree branches that snagged on me as I went though, especially with my slightly heavy bag.

I even almost tripped over one rock that I didn't see and was oh so glad Pikachu was here with me, otherwise I probably would have fell.

It didn't take very long to reach where I was directed by my two pokemon and I squeezed through some trees to find myself standing in a decently large clearing, filled with long untamed grass, surrounded by a large cluster of trees that nearly blotted the sky out because of the amount of branches and abundance of leaves criss crossing all over above us.

The main attraction of the clearing though, had to be the decently large pond that stretched out at the other end of the clearing.

There were a few Pokemon hanging around it.

Speaking of which, who could forget about them?

My eyes swerved through the clearing, noting dozens of Pidgey roosting on branches all around me.

My eyes were more focused on the three other denizens of the area though.

There were some Caterpie, Metapod, Weedle, Kakuna, Oddish, Bellsprout, Pinsir and oddly enough, there was a Scyther there.

Well then, it seems that I have a few Pokemon to capture.

"Hey buddy, can you ask the Pokemon there if they want to join our team?" I ask Pikachu, who nods his head and goes off to talk to the Wild Pokemon nearby.

"Bulba!"

I look down and see a Bulbasaur staring at me, making me internally smile 'cause apart from Treecko, he's one of my favourite Grass-Type starters.

If I can get him on the team, then Brock and Misty are going to be easy to deal with.

"Hey there buddy, you want something to eat?" I ask the little fellow, crouching so I could be at his eye level.

"Bulbasaur!" He growls, which I interpret as hik wanting to join our team.

Grabbing an empty Pokeball, I gently tap it onto his head and watch him get sucked inside of it.

In two shakes, I hear a click sound, which means that I've now got one of the three Kanto Starters but tyen, it glows white and disappears from my hands.

It probably went Professor Oak's lab sonce I got more than six Pokemon.

After a few minutes of waiting, Pikachu then comes back to me, accompanied by a Caterpie, a Weedle, a Scyther, a Pinsir, a Bellsprout, a Paras and a pair of Oddish.

"So you guys want to join my team, right?" I ask them, to which they answer with chorus of growls or coos.

Pikachu translates for me though by giving me a thumbs-ups, which makes me smile a little.

He's really the best friend you can have but I'm gonna have to find a Psychic type Pokemon to have a more accurate translation of what they're saying.

Maybe I could get an Abra or an Drowzee or even Espeon depending on what Eevee wants to evolve into.

Taking out a few Pokeballs, I tap them getnly on the Pokemon that were in front of me and after two shakes, they disapeared from my line of sight like Bulbasaur's Pokeball did earlier.

"RAHHH!"

I turn around and see many Pokemon running towards the pond alongside Bug trainers, who sprint towards the exit of Viridian Forest in fear.

"Please, someone help me dammit!" A kid voice shouts loudly.

Running there, I find a kid holding his left knee in pain.

"Hey, you alright man?" I ask him before pulling him up as we carefully walk to the exit.

"I... that thing. It's not a Pokemon. It's some kind of demon." The kid responds, shaking in fear.

"Wait, what do you mean by 'it's not a Pokemon'?

"That... thing! It's glowing red eyes. All it knows is destruction and murder. It killed one of its own right in front of me and my friends. It was right before... right before..." The kid would slump in my arms as I spot an old man yelling at us to keep going.

I hand him over to the small group then take a look at Pikachu's moveset.

Huh, seems he got some new moves while I wasn't looking.

No matter.

"Thanks, son. Niw, we can report this to the local- Hey what're you doing!" He shouts as I run back into the forest to deal with that Pokemon.

From what that kid told me, it would seem like I'm dealing with at least a level 45 Pokemon but the question is, why?

Why would it decide to attack random people out of the blue like that?

"RAHHH!"

Grabbing all of my Pokeballs, I turn around and...

Oh...FUCK!

"Ha ha haah... it's a fucking Alpha Cleavor." I say to no one in particular.

But seriously, WHAT KIND OF BULLSHIT IS THIS?!

I DID NOT SIGN UP FOR THIS SHIT.

...

...

...

Calm down, Nate, you can do this.

As long as I'm focused, everything should be alright.

"Magikarp, Rattata, Pidgey, Spearow, Bulbasaur and Pikachu, it's fightin' time!" I yell, throwing my Pokeballs in the air as my Pokemon materialize in front of me.

I need to drop all of Cleavor's Stats if I even want a chance of defeating him.

Operation: Tree Cutter is a go!

"Bulbasaur, use Leech Seed and then follow it up with Poison Powder." I order the Seed Pokemon, who nods and fires a small but noticeable seed from its bulb as it then latches onto Cleavor, who lets out an howl of pain and agony.

The Grass type would then follow it up by firing a purple mist from its bulb in the Alpha Pokemon's direction, doubling the amount of pain Cleavor was now in.

Cleavor's now seeded and poisoned, that's a good start but it's not going to be enough.

"Pikachu, use Triple Charm. After that, Rattata use Tail Whip as many times as you can. Spearow, you assist her by using Leer on Cleavor. Pidgey, Sand Attack." I order all of my Pokemon.

Pikachu would growl cutely three times, lowering Cleavor's Attack to minus 6, which is the lowest it can sink down to.

The Alpha Pokemon would start retaliating by attacking Magikarp, who's just... hanging around but is stopped by Pidgey, who would then throw sand at the rampaging beast, lowering its accuracy as both Rattata and Spearow lower its defense with Tail Whip and Leer.

If only one of them had Scary Face, maybe we could've had a Speed drop but it's fine.

I just need him weak him to the point where we can do significant damage to him.

"Alright, let the massacre begun! Pikachu, use Nasty Plot and then Iron Tail." I order my partner, who lets a chirp and rubs his hands together, raising his attacl and special attack Stats before hitting Cleavor with a very powerful Iron Tail.

I follow it up with Bulbasaur comong into play, "Bulbasaur, Growth then Sweet Scent."

The Kanto Starter would let out a small growl, raising his Special Attack Stat before unleashing a small tornado of pink leaves at Cleavor, lowering its evasiveness.

"Rattata, Tail Whip one more and then Bite." Rattata would shake its tail at Cleavor, dropping its defense at 4 before biting its legs with all pf its might.

"Spearow, Leer two more times and then use Aerial Ace." The brown colored bird would glare two more times at Cleavor while also dodging simultaneously the Alpha Pokemon's Fury Cutters or X-Scissors and would hit the beast with a Powerful Aerial Ace.

Pidgey would once again throw some sand at Cleavor, lowering its accuracy until it couldn't anymore and join Spearow in attacking the Alpha Pokemon with Flying type moves.

Magikarp would support its comrades by tackling the beast as best as it could but unfortunately, its Stats and inexperience in battle made it a challenge for it to pose any sort of threat to the Alpha Pokemon as it is then kicked away by Cleavor.

It weakly stands up and begins glowing a bright blinding light as he's then joined in by both Rattata and Pidgey, who simply had enough of dealing with this huge bastard.

"Don't give up, guys. Show that fucker what you're made of!" I yell out as they all roar and erupt into a bright blinding light.

...

...

This can't be...

Could they be?...

"Already!?" I gasp in shock as all three of their forms are blurred out by glowing lights, which begins to grow rapidly.

All three of them were two or three usual heights, with key differences in their appearances but overall, it's safe to say that they all evolved.

The first is Pidgeotto with his tail feathers blossoming out and a crest of feathers growing out of his head.

My flying type Pokemon releases a piercing shriek, "Geeotto!" and the light disappears around him.

It's soon followed by Rattata, who's now a Raticate and my newly evolved Gyarados.

Taking a look at them with my Phone, it seems that they have gotten a few new moves, most notably Gyarados, who now knows Ice Fang and Dragon Dance, which is a bit surprising, considering the fact that he's not really a Dragon type but hey, I'm not complaining!

Tying my headband tightly like Naruto would do, I glare at the Cleavor and clench my fists, ready for battle once more.

"Here's round two, ya bastard!"

END!

Yep, the MC is about to have his first major battle against an Alpha Cleavor, this wasn't even in my plan but I liked the idea of him being challenged a bit before his fight against Brock that I decided to stick with it.

Also, three evolutions in one chapter, guess that's good for something, huh?

Response to reviews.

God of Wind 200: Thank you for the understanding and I hope the battle scenes in this chapter are at least satisfactory 'cause it's been challenge writing this fight but I hope you enjoy it. Also, saw your PM and I will definetely add these Pokemon to the MC's team, assuming that he survives that is.
