So after rewatching the 1993 tv series, Lois & Clark: The New Adventures Of Superman, just for nostalgia sake, I came up with this idea, hopefully people will enjoy it and it'll hopefully get adopted.
Also if no one remembers the Lois & Clark: The New Adventures Of Superman, then I would suggest watching them, since they are quite entertaining, no matter the age.
One more thing, keep in mind that I'm trying to get to a certain spot in the story so there's gonna be only so much dialogue between people, since I'm basically smushing 2 episodes in 1. lol
Cat & Naruto: The New Adventures Of Maelstrom
Chapter 1
Pilot
Metropolis
Right now life in Metropolis was booming, everyone was walking and running about to either their jobs or doing their errands, with a bus pulling up, allowing two people to step off of the transport, with one of them carrying a slightly worned case with C.K. monogrammed on it.
While the second person was carrying a similar case, only his was monogrammed with N.U. on it, only with a umbrella attached to it, "Well, here we are brother, Metropolis, a city with nothing but troubles and two people looking to make it here." This person, having a slight British accent, being a spiky-haired blond with blue eyes and whisker-like birthmarks on his cheeks, along with a strong muscular build hidden under his suit.
The other person simply replied, "Now Naruto, don't get too excited, we still need to sort things out with Perry White and find a suitable place for ourselves." With him being a handsome, dark haired young man, having nearly the same build as the blond, with said build being hidden under his own suit as well.
Now these two people are in fact Clark Kent and Naruto "Uzumaki" Kent, though you're probably wondering how did Naruto end up becoming Clark's adopted brother in the first place, well that can be explained later.
While the two young men were looking around at the sights, Clark's attention was drawn to a out of controlled bus, which was heading towards a group of people crossing the street, that is until Clark had quickly rushed out into traffic, with the bus suddenly halting, while an old woman was stuttering and shocked by such a sight, yet all that was on the bus was a bent metal bumper in the shape of a handprint.
Before anything else could be said, both brothers quickly made their exit, with Naruto quickly whispering, "You're pushing your luck with such a thing Clark, doing that out in the open and everything." With Naruto passing Clark's case back to him.
Clark on the other hand, "I know, but I had to do something, since your powers would draw too much attention to yourself before the bus could be stopped." With the pair making their way to The Daily Planet, while keeping themselves out of sight.
Naruto simply nodded in agreement, since while he use to be a ninja growing up, before he found something and ended up in this world and losing his chakra because of the something, as the two walk Naruto's eyes casually went towards his umbrella, which shook slightly due to the walking.
Daily Planet
Soon the two were seated in front of Perry White, giving him their resume, along with other interview things that would annoy anyone. (lol)
Where both Kents explained that they did a bit of travelling, where at some point they ended up in England, with Naruto unconsciously ended up picking up the accent, which was the reason he sounded like he was British and ever since then it kinda stuck with him.
Though Naruto ends up grumbling and slight frustration about his accent, thus causing both Clark and Perry to be somewhat amused by Naruto's plight.
Unfortunately when Clark handed in the work he and his brother did in their past, it caused the News Editor to try and deny them a job, only for someone to walk in, trying to talk to Perry, thus interrupting the man from denying the two a job.
Perry soon sighed out an introduction for the group, "Lois Lane, Clark Kent and Naruto Kent." "Nice to meet you" The woman quickly spoke, showing no interest in either of the brothers, causing the two to look at each other in puzzlement, until she then rushes off wanting to do another story, causing her boss even more agro.
While Clark and Naruto try to argue their case, but Perry gently denied them to be reporters, causing the brothers to leave, with Clark shaking Perry's hand, causing it to crack slightly, though luckily Naruto was next to shake Perry's hand, making it crack again, but in a more reinvigorating way, making Perry look at his hand for a second, then back at Naruto.
Naruto simply smiled, "We spent a few months with some Monks in a monastery, they taught us about pressure points." He then made his exit, all the while Perry was flexing his hand, with the appendage feeling a bit more better than it did for years.
Hotel
The two soon made it to a hotel, where they decided to spend some time there in order to get a better apartment when they get a job, with the boys talking to their parents, with the two being concerned about them, considering they adopted Naruto when he was 13, while Clark was about 14 at the time.
Unfortunately Clark ended up spilling the beans about the bus, causing Naruto to flinch when he heard their mother, Martha's exclamation about it, since usually that voice was reserved for Naruto and his pranks growing up, with Naruto shaking his head at Clark repeating the same line that their dad was saying, thinking to himself, "Yeah~ The only people Clark can't tell a lie to are our folks."
With a slight smirk at the end, showing that he's glad the parents were so caring towards them, though Clark soon explained what happened, while Naruto put their clothes away for the time being, with Clark stating that he and Naruto will pay them back soon, thus hanging up.
Naruto just looks towards Clark, "Don't worry Clark, there's always tomorrow to get denied a job(!)" Naruto says to him in a joking manner, causing Clark to smile slightly at Naruto trying to cheer him up.
With Naruto laying out a sleeping bag for himself, with Clark taking the bed for the night, though the bulb in the ceiling was flickering on and off, as though it wasn't screwed in tight enough, so Clark literally floated up and tightened it more, stopping the flickering and setting himself back down.
Clark soon began walking around in frustration, even walking on the wall, with Naruto watching him, where Clark soon made his way back to the floor, then jumped onto his bed, "Like I said Clark, things'll hopefully be better tomorrow, just got to give it time, it is our first day here after all."
Clark just sighs in agreement, since he could always chalk it up to first day jitters, with that, the two went to sleep in their cheap hotel, having to share it until they find a actual job and a good salary that goes with it to get their own place.
Next Day
Naruto and Clark soon decided to visit the theater that Perry White had asked Lois to do a story of, but the woman had blown it off, with both brothers seeing the protest about the theater being demolish, though they end up hearing a couple of old ladies asking if anyone had seen their friend, with Clark sliding his glasses down slightly, using his X-Ray vision to see inside the building.
Naruto noticing simply asks, "What do you see." Since he's seen Clark do such a thing every now and again to help people in secret.
With Clark simply replying, "Their friend is inside, reciting a play, hang on a second." Clark soon noticed the construction worker getting into his machine, though Clark soon used his heat vision to fry the equipment, stopping it from demolishing the building.
Naruto quickly whispers, "Listen, you go inside while I use a little of my power to stop the electric in the other machines, okay, just do what you need to do."
Soon Clark was inside, talking with the woman who wanted to recite her favourite play, while Naruto focuses on the electric in the equipment around him, while talking to people and taking notes about their plight of the building being destroyed.
Hotel
The two were back in their hotel, with Clark typing on his laptop and Naruto doing the same, with Clark typing a heartfelt newsletter, hoping to use it for a second chance with Perry about a heartbroken woman wanting to say her final goodbyes to the theater.
With Naruto doing the same, only for the people that were protesting the demolishing of the building, though as he was typing Naruto soon began smelling smoke, making Naruto look around, wondering where it was coming from, until he noticed it was coming from Clark's laptop, "Seriously Clark, I know you want to write the story quickly, but try to take it easy on you laptop, it can only take so much."
Since it turns out Clark was so in the zone during his typing, that he accidentally used his superspeed, causing the laptop to start smoking, but he quickly put it out, "Yeah, yeah, I know."
Daily Planet
Soon both Naruto and Clark had their stories read by Perry, with the man loving the piece about it, thus allowing the two to gain their jobs at the Daily Planet as reporters, though Perry quickly pulled his hand away from Clark, remembering what happened last time, causing Clark to be slightly embarrassed, while Naruto smiled in amusement.
Though their merriment in gaining a job would have to be short-lived, since they began gathering around a tv screen showing the rocket exploding, with Naruto and Clark listening and looking in concerned about it.
While Lois began talking to Perry about interviewing the Space Program, Naruto and Clark were working in their section, until Lois came rushing up and giving Clark a slight slap on the arm, "Come on Smallville, you're with me in interviewing the Space Program, just don't get in my way."
Hearing this the two brothers quickly look at each other and saying a quick later, with Clark rushing off to catch up to Lois, with both interviewing the doctor who brought Lois his research and results, along with interviewing the people who run the Space Program.
All the while Naruto was getting a tour from Jimmy on where everything was, though afterwards Naruto then gave Clark the tour when he and Lois got back, since Jimmy was busy.
Unfortunately during said tour, Naruto ended up catching the eyes of a certain Cat Grant, while Naruto goes and gets some coffee for Clark and himself, thus "bumping" into Cat Grant, "Ur, excuse me, I-!" She held her hand up, interrupting Naruto "Catherine Grant, Cat's Corner." She tells Naruto.
With Naruto slightly grasping the hand, "Oh yeah, I've read your column." He quickly replied, realizing what she wanted him to do with her hand and quickly "dodged" such a thing.
Soon Catherine began trying to lay it on thick for Naruto, until she "fixes" his tie, making Naruto extremely uncomfortable, while "offering" to show Naruto around, though while this was happening Clark was listening in and snorted slightly since from what he was hearing, Cat was the one thing that truly scares Naruto, a woman on the prowl, with Naruto being the prey, with Clark thinking to himself, "Yeah, she's gonna eat him alive if he's not too careful."
With Naruto awkwardly replying, "T-Thank you Miss Grant." "Cat!" She quickly answered, with Naruto repeating the same thing, though feeling like he's being cornered by a tiger.
Soon Cat walked away, leaving a slightly shaking Naruto, having never dealt with such a "forceful" person before, it kinda caught him off guard, though Lois looks towards him, with Naruto giving a slight sigh of relief, "S-She scares me! (Gulp!)" Causing Lois huff and walk away, though having a slight smirk at Naruto being scared by such a forward person.
Clark then appears next to Naruto, having a teasing smirk, ""Cat?"" He questions, causing Naruto to blush and glare, "Shut up!" While giving Clark a thump on his arm, causing Clark to chuckle at such a response.
After such an ordeal, both Naruto and Clark were at their desk, though Clark's attention seems to be drawn towards Lois, while Naruto was typing on his laptop over something work related, his umbrella next to him.
Though Naruto soon began hearing Lois asking(ordering) Clark to go with her to Lex Luthor's party, where Clark agrees after teasing her slightly, causing his brother to move next to him after Lois leaves, "She's really something else, huh!" Naruto states, with Clark agreeing.
After Work
Once they finished work, Naruto and Clark made their way into an alley, with Clark taking his glasses off, while Naruto has his umbrella, once thinking no-one was around, Clark pushes off the ground about to fly, while Naruto's umbrella shimmers into a hammer with a strap on the end of the handle, allowing Naruto to spin the handle around.
Only while Clark was in the air a homeless man popped out, asking for some money, with Clark awkwardly floating over to the man and giving him some money, while Naruto slapped his forehead at the slightly misstep, with the homeless man thinking that Clark was some type of angel, until Clark flies away, causing Naruto to grunt slightly and spins his hammer again.
But on the last swing, Naruto was pulled off his feet and flew after Clark, with the homeless man thinking that the blond was also an angel.
In the sky, both Clark and Naruto quickly agree to not tell their folks about the homeless man, since that would cause some problems for them.
Smallville, Kansas
After that they both landed at their parents farm, seeing as it was Friday for the two, since they've agreed to visit their folks every Friday.
Though both young men told their parents about their day in Metropolis, along with the Daily Planet, with both parents smiling slightly at both boys somehow finding women that they may be attracted to, though Naruto's attraction could be a little more complicated for him, considering the woman was "hunting" Naruto.
Soon the boys were outside, with their father, explaining how they enjoy the pace of the city, though both boys began talking about how they still feel boxed in, since they don't really fit in anywhere, with their father understanding, since Clark was pretty much an alien from another planet, while Naruto was an ex-ninja from another dimension due to a magic hammer.
As I'm sure everyone has just figured out about Naruto's origin, he was just 13 years old at the time, where his perverted mentor had tossed him down a large ravine, where he had landed in a broken heap on the floor of the ravine, having failed in summoning a Toad to save his life, though at the time he was struggling to stay alive because of his fall, but while laying there broken he had found a hilt of a hammer, where he soon began ranting about his life and everything, his hand touching the hilt, where his hand had suddenly moved it, causing a bolt of lightning to hit him, thus causing him to land in Kansas, where the Kents had found him, unconscious with the hammer in his hand, with Naruto waking up, but not understanding the English language.
But luckily he quickly used his clones to study the language, unfortunately it would seem that at the time, Naruto's chakra was running out and being replaced by the hammer's energy, which in turn gave Naruto his new durable body, lightning based powers and the ability to fly, among other things.
Lex Tower
So after such a heartwarming moment with their father, the two soon returned to their hotel room in Metropolis, with Naruto's hammer returning to it's umbrella form, since anyone would question such a thing.
Though unfortunately for Naruto, though it certainly brighten Clark's mood, Cat had somehow managed to track the two down to their cheap hotel room, with Naruto having just finished his shower, with Clark using it after him, making him very uncomfortable with Cat's predatory stare at Naruto's wet naked chest, abs and muscular arms, where she then asked(tricked) him into being her date for Lex's party, thus making Clark a little happier that he's not the only one with a stubborn girl, though with obvious differences.
Anyway, at the moment, Naruto and Clark were wearing tuxes for the party, with Jimmy giving a quick rundown of who Lex Luthor was, with Naruto's figure being a bit more bulkier than Clark's, but that's mostly his arms, though Naruto was extremely uncomfortable with the tux, since Clark had helped him tie his bowtie a little too tightly.
But before the 3 guys could even speak, a certain someone had grabbed Naruto's arm and yanked him away to dance with her, making both Jimmy and Clark look at them in surprise and shock, well, shock for Jimmy, Clark on the other hand was amused at the sight of Cat teaching Naruto how to slow-dance, while "making sure" Naruto's hand was in the "right place" causing Naruto's face to become as red as a tomato.
Jimmy though, leans towards Clark, "How... Did that happen!?" He couldn't help but ask, since it was kinda out of the blue for him, seeing as Jimmy had a slight puppy-love towards Cat.
With Clark answering, "Um, she very tenacious and pretty much scares Naruto." While having a smile at the end.
Hearing this, Jimmy looks towards Naruto in puzzlement, but soon nods his head in understanding, seeing the scared look on the blond's face, while also seeing a "hungry" look on Cat's face aimed towards Naruto, "He's gonna be eaten alive by her." He couldn't help but joke.
Soon the boys attention went towards Lois talking with Lex, since they figured Naruto could look after himself, while Clark obviously got jealous of Lex and Lois dancing together, thus cut in and began dancing with her, only to get shot down by ruining the "interview" that she was doing.
Though while Clark and Lois left to do some sleuthing in Lex's office, Naruto had managed to slip away from Cat by simply stating that he'll get them some drinks, since Cat was leaning a little too close for comfort.
He had managed to bump back into Jimmy, though at the moment Naruto was leaning against a table, with his hands on it and head down, huffing in mild mental exhaustion, with Jimmy patting Naruto's back and laughing a little at Naruto's over dramatic antics, though considering he caught Cat's eyes it was no wonder why Naruto felt exhausted.
Once his "break" was over, Naruto went back to Cat with a couple of drinks, where she happily took and had finished it off, where she then took Naruto's hand and quickly dragged Naruto back on the dancefloor, causing to slightly spill his drink, but had managed to pass it to a server who had managed to catch the glass before it could fall, looking towards the man that did it, though soon understood why and decided to continue with his job.
Soon the music stopped, with Lex presenting his own Space Station, with Clark and Lois standing next to Naruto and Cat, only Cat was hanging on Naruto's arm during Lex's speech, yet Naruto and Clark couldn't help but feel suspicious of the man, Clark for his jealousy, Naruto for a gut feeling, though that could be because of Cat hanging on him.
Once Lex's party had finished, Naruto had walked Cat back to her place, where she did try to drag him into her place, but Naruto had managed to talk her down, though it didn't stop her from giving him a searing kiss on the lips, taking him completely by surprise, though afterwards, Cat had found his shocked look to be very cute, but figured she'd "play" with him another time.
Naruto on the other hand had walked back to the hotel in a state of shock, all the while wearing his tux with his bow tie untied and the lipstick mark on his lips, making people look at him in puzzlement until they saw the mark, though when he entered the hotel room, Clark couldn't contain his amusement, causing the brothers to wrestle slightly with Naruto winning, but the two soon settled down for the night.
Next Day
As the brothers met up with Lois, though had a slight runnin with an accident with some sewer workers, with Clark rescuing the man, only to get dirty, with Naruto muttering about his brother, though Lois heard this, the brothers explained the reason was because of Cat surprising Naruto by kissing him, though before she could hear the rest she had walked away, not wanting to hear about Naruto being a horndog like the others.
Where the two tried to explain what happened, only for Lois to block it out, though once they entered the building, with Jimmy leaving to run an errand for Lois, Cat had reappear, making Naruto jump and yelp slightly at her appearance, causing Clark to try and hide his laughter, while Cat couldn't help but smile.
But soon, Cat had Naruto by his tie, asking him why he hadn't agreed to have dinner yet, with Naruto stuttering about being swamped, while at the sametime wondering in his head what she meant by "dinner" he was about to leave again in order to escape Cat, but she held him in place with his tie acting like a leash.
Though thankfully Naruto had asked for a raincheck on dinner, allowing her to release him, though as Naruto walked away, Clark was soon next to him, "Are you alright Naruto." Though it was a question, he could already tell the answer.
Naruto just shudders slightly, whether in excitement or fear, he had no idea, though thanks to Clark's hearing, he managed to hear Cat saying how she loves the cute ones playing hard to get, causing Clark to snort slightly in amusement.
Though Clark was with Lois, where he had managed to tell Lois what was going on with Naruto and Cat, along with the two getting back to work on their investigation with the rocket explosion, Naruto on the other hand couldn't escape having dinner with Cat, though luckily they were in a restaurant, so while Cat was being her flirty self, she wasn't causing as much uncomfort as before, though Naruto soon managed to have a calm normal conversation with her, making her slowly lose her flirty nature for now and they both soon began enjoying themselves.
With nothing happening, yet for some reason Cat felt like she could be herself around Naruto, not having to be all flirty, but that doesn't mean she'll stop anytime soon, since she finds scared Naruto cute.
Few Days Later
Turns out, during the last few days, Clark and Lois went to visit the doctor that had visited the Daily Planet, only to find the man in a chair, with his feet in a bucket of water, while holding a live wire, with the police stating that the whole thing was a suicide.
After that, Clark was on the phone with their folks, wearing a towel since he was just in the shower, explaining how he needs a costume to hide his identity, while Naruto had his turn in the shower, Lois had appeared, where she inadvertently caught an eyeful of Clark's muscular body, making her misspoke about seeing dressed.
Where as Clark goes into the shower to do so, while telling Naruto that Lois was there, where Naruto tells Clark he'd be out in a second, thus allowing Lois to snoop around the hotel room, finding lots of junk food that kids love, while questioning Clark about it, where Naruto pops his head out the door, exclaiming, "We lived on a farm Lois, we needed the calories to keep up with the rough farm work we did." While not really true, it's much better to tell her that instead of explaining that their bodies handle earth food differently.
With her buying the explanation, while telling Naruto to hurry up before she sicks Cat on him while he's naked, making Naruto pale at the thought and quickly rush back in to finish his drying and clothing, causing the two to smile and start walking out, figuring that Naruto would catch up.
Daily Planet
Soon the family of the deceased arrives to talk with Clark and Lois about finding, with Naruto standing close by with a frown on his face, missing Cat standing next to him, wondering what was up, with Naruto replying, "That's the doctor's family, his wife wanted to visit the last two people that her husband talked to before his death."
Hearing this, even Cat felt sorry for the mother and daughter duo, where both decided to mourn the wife and daughter for their loses, "What in Sam Hill are you two standing around for, and who's that talking with Lois and Clark!" Perry soon spoke out.
Making the two look towards the man, with Naruto whispering, "She's the doctor's wife that passed on, she brought her daughter in to find out what happened to her husband Chief, we were just have a moment to mourn for their loss, but we'll get back to work soon."
Hearing this Perry patted Naruto on the shoulder, "I understand son, and I'm not trying to be an ogre or anything, but this is a Newspaper business, everyone needs to be working." With Perry showing that his heart does go out to the people who have lost someone dear, but unfortunately work doesn't stop for the mourners, with both nodding and moving towards their jobs, though Naruto did catch a tear trickle down Cat's face slightly, though she quickly wiped it off before it could ruin her makeup.
Days Later
Once the Space Station Prometheus was going along, as scheduled, though Lex was "upset" that his station was dismissed, turns out the doctor that had visited Lois and lost his life was given the credit for discovering the sabertage, with Clark asking Lois to dinner to celebrate, she turned Clark down, since she had a dinner appointment with Lex Luthor, which unfortunately caused the two to have an argument.
Though while this was happening, Cat had managed to get Naruto to take her to dinner, only as Naruto was walking her home, a mugger with a gun dragged them into an alleyway, with both having no choice but to do as the man says, with him ordering Cat to give him her bag, where she dropped it on the floor, causing the mugger to feel around for the bag, only when his eyes were on the bag, Cat seeing her opportunity kicked the mugger's gun hand, causing the gun to hit the floor.
"BANG! Ting!"
Only for the gun to go off, aimed towards Cat, but Naruto had managed to grab Cat out the way, with the two collapsing onto the ground, with the mugger running away, Naruto had his eyes closed, pretending to have fainted at such a thing, allowing Cat to quickly tap his face in concern, waking him up.
Though when she found out about his fainting spell, she got up and walked away, figuring she should at least give the cute young man some dignity, though while she wasn't looking, Naruto smirked slightly, opened his hand and there laying in his hand was the shot bullet, tossing it into the air and catching it, he just shrugs his shoulders and throws it away, hiding the fact that he caught the bullet before it could hit Cat, thus ending their date on a slightly "high" note. (A.N. A reference to 1978 Superman.)
Though while Naruto was showering, Clark was apparently spying on Lois, with Naruto giving him the 411 on the whole "misuse of powers" with Clark agreeing that such a thing had put him in a bad light with himself.
But the two got over it and moved on, only for Perry to yell at the 2 reporters and Jimmy about finding hard facts and not just hearsay, causing the 3 to rush around and try to find some.
While Lois and Jimmy head out for the evidence, Naruto and Clark were called to a staff meeting, only for Clark to get a bit worried and rush out, with Naruto staying behind since he figured Clark could handle things, speaking of handling things, turns out a certain someone had their hand on his thigh, making things a little awkward for Naruto, though Cat was having fun teasing him, but unfortunately Naruto couldn't do anything because of the meeting.
Though afterwards, when everybody left, Naruto was still seated, "Son are you alright, the staff meeting is over." Perry soon asked, wondering what the matter was.
Naruto gave an awkward cough, "Um, y-yeah, I'm fine, j-just a little cramp in my leg, I-I must've sat on it funny."
Though Naruto tried to hide what really happened, Perry got the idea, since Cat was sitting next to Naruto in a funny way, "Ahem! You know what, take all the time you need son, just don't take too long." He soon gave Naruto a pointed look.
Seeing the look Naruto was about to speak, but Perry soon left, causing Naruto to groan in his misfortune, "Damn it Cat!" He exclaims to himself, though was thankful that Perry at least had his back.
Next Day
Soon everyone was celebrating the rocket schedule starting up again, only this time there was no more "fault" in the cooling system, meaning that the professor was right about there being sabotage to the other shuttles, but once the officials went over everything, they made sure nothing else would go wrong.
Along with Clark telling Naruto about what "really" happened, like how the woman he interviewed was the culprit in the sabotage, but left out his talk with Lois, since that was obviously a private matter, but then he tells Naruto about how the woman said something about, "the high grounds" that really caught Clark's interest.
But soon afterwards, both brothers were now at their parents house in Smallville, though their father was skeptical about Clark having a costume to hide his identity, with Naruto stating, "Don't worry dad, we'll be able to cover each other during our heroism, no-one'll ever know who we are." With smile on his face.
Soon both Clark and their mother began a montage of finding a perfect outfit for Clark, though each one was a bust, until Clark walks out with a red and blue suit with a cape, making the 2 realise that it suits Clark, but also seems to be missing something, until their mother pulls out a trunk, along with Clark's baby-blanket that he was found in, along with a diamond shaped symbol, that was outlined with red and a big "S" in the middle of it, while the insides were yellow.
Yet while Clark was getting his outfit sorted out, Naruto was on the couch with their dad watching the news about the launch of the rocket, though both Naruto and their father gave Clark an interesting look, with Naruto shrugging, "Welp, it'll be less sparkly than my outfit." Causing the others to chuckle at his response.
"(Gasp!) That's right, oh honey I'm sorry we were so focused on Clark's outfit that we forgot yours." Martha soon spoke out.
Just as she was about to grab her needles again, "Ma! Ma! Calm down, I've figured out something that works better than Clark's outfit." Though hearing this caused Clark to look puzzled, along with their parents.
With that Naruto simply had the 3 follow him outside, while Naruto holds his umbrella, once they cleared the house, Naruto gave them a big smile, "Now, watch this!" With that he slammed his umbrella down.
"BOOOOOM!"
After which a flash of lightning appeared right where Naruto was standing, nearly blinding the 3, but once their eyesight had returned, standing before them was a long haired blond, he was also wearing an interesting outfit that had a blue, red and gold motif, where on his head was a gold and blue winged helmet that covers half of his face as well as his whiskers.
This outfit and it's "intro" surprised Clark and their parents, with their father stating, "Well son, you'll certainly turn a few heads with that outfit." While chuckling at the end.
Naruto just smiles, "Don't worry dad, now that I've figured out my outfit, I can summon it quietly as much as I want, also since this was Thor's hammer, I'll use a name that sounds like mine, but is completely different."
With that all 3 gave Naruto a look, "I'll be called, Maelstrom, The New God Of Thunder, since it'll be easy for me to hide who I am."
So, all 4 went back inside to continue watching the launch, unfortunately something with the launch went wrong, though as that was happening, both Naruto and Clark had rushed out of the house in order to fly towards the rocket in order to see what had happened.
Though as they were flying, "HEEEEELLLLLLPPPPPP!" The familiar voice of Cat Grant was heard by Clark, causing them to halt in their flight path.
With Naruto spinning Mjolnir above his head, "What's wrong Clark, we need to get to the launch as fast as possible."
Thankfully Clark quickly answered, "Cat's in trouble, I don't know what happened to her, but if I can hear her screaming for help from here then it must be something terrifying."
Hearing this, Naruto quickly says, "Okay, you go and sort out the launch, while I go and help out Cat." Seeing as there was no other way, both brothers had split up.
With Clark going to save the rocket, while Naruto goes to save Cat.
Daily Planet Helipad
Turns out Cat really was in trouble, for you see, she was about to fly in the Daily Planet's helicopter, when suddenly a loose cable got caught on the bars of the helicopter, causing it to spin out of control, along with hurting the pilot along the way, thus making the whole thing teeter over the edge of the building, which had made Cat scream so loudly for help.
In her fear-induced state she tried to move to the other side in order to escape, only for her to start slipping out of the copter, holding onto the belt of the copter for dear life.
But it was for nought, her grip had slipped and she was falling from the building, the crowd below were screaming and gasping in shock about what was gonna happen.
That is until, "Fear not Miss, I've got thee." Someone with a red cape had managed to swoop in and saved her.
Though there was a slight problem, "YOU'VE GOT ME!? WHO'S GOT YOU!?" Cat soon screamed out, hugging the man tighter, thinking they were gonna fall but the man kept raising up into the air with her, while he smiled at her exclaim.
But was they were flying up, the copter started slipping over the edge, until it starts falling too, but before it could even hit them, the man had managed to push Cat onto his back to hold on more, "Hold on tight." Thus allowing him to grab the copter and take it back up to the Helipad where he safely puts it down, along with Cat though she was slightly woozy from such an experience.
The man soon exclaims to the men, "Gentlemen, thine help is needed!" While ushering them to help the pilot.
With that, he then turns his attention towards Cat, "Well Miss, I verily hope this experience needn't put the fear of flying into thee, honestly, tis the safest way to travel." With that he turned around and starts spinning his hammer.
"WAIT!" Catching the man's attention, "Who ARE you!?" She couldn't help but ask.
The man simply smiled, "A friend," He then starts flying up into the air, "But my name is Maelstrom, The New God Of Thunder!" With that he shoots off, "BOOM!" With the sound of lightning exploding across the night sky.
Though unfortunately for Cat, this experience causes her to faint to the floor as well.
Next Day
Before anyone knew what was happening, newspapers everywhere was posting about the flying men, with an exclusive about one of them calling themselves "Maelstrom, The New God Of Thunder" by Cat Grant, which was a first for her considering how her column was mostly about the social gossip, so she must admit to become an exclusive herself was pretty surprising, though it had nothing on flying through the air by the strong muscular man that saved her.
But obviously after completing her story, though there wasn't much to go on besides his name and title, but that didn't stop her from being curious about the man that saved her, along with wondering why he spoke in "Ye Olde English" but before she could even think on that, in came Lois in the arms of her own flying man that had saved the rocket launch, though what had shocked her more was the fact that Lois was "swept off her feet" by the alien man.
Soon he made his exit, which also gave Lois the chance to name him Superman, and with that, Lois rushes off to start her story.
Night Time
Before long, both Maelstrom and the newly named Superman were standing outside of Lex Luthor's window, staring at the man who had orchestrated the whole sabotage in the first place, but both wouldn't stoop to the man's level, with Lex trying to goud Maelstrom into trying to attack him by calling him a fake god.
So, Maelstrom issued a little challenge, "Very well Luthor, if I am a fake god, then have at thee." With that, Maelstrom puts his hammer on the floor.
With Lex being curious at this, "Okay, tell me what this is about." SInce he was curious why Maelstrom had placed his hammer in the middle of the floor.
Maelstrom simply smiled, "If you can lift Mjolnir, then you be worthy to possess the power of Thor, tis as simple as that."
With that, Lex tried his hand at lifting it, but unfortunately the hammer wouldn't budge an inch no matter how much Lex tried, he even tried to come up with a logical reason why he couldn't shift it.
Where Maelstrom nods, finding this whole thing amusing, along with Superman, "Very interesting theories Luthor, but I have a simpler theory," He them motions Lex to let go for a moment, and lifts the hammer with ease, "You're not worthy." He simply states while tossing the hammer up in the air with ease.
This had the desired effect of causing Lex to glare at the pair for making fun of him, with the two making their exit, where Superman then simply states, "If you want to find us," They soon began to fly, with Maelstrom spinning Mjolnir over his head to hover, "Just look up." Maelstrom soon finished, with both soon flying higher than the building and vanishing from sight.
Which had told Lex one thing, these two had the "high grounds" now.
Next Day
Before long, the next work day was going on, though Lois was still slightly on cloud 9 about Superman, even stating on how Clark might be jealous of Superman, which both thought was pretty amusing considering the circumstances, but obviously didn't say anything.
Where as Clark and Lois made their exit, Naruto was simply supping on his coffee, his hair back to being short thanks to the fact that he wasn't using his powers at the time.
"Whoa!?"
That is until he got goosed by Cat from behind, making him nearly spill his coffee, "Hey whiskers~ Glad to see you around~" She exclaimed with a smile.
Though Naruto, was trying to clean himself up with a napkin after his slight spill, "C-Cat, h-hey, nice to see you too, I heard you had quite the experience yourself last night as well."
Cat just smiles, "You could say that, especially since I managed to meet "Maelstrom" though I do find it funny that he calls himself "The New God Of Thunder" it really makes you think doesn't it." She simply states.
Naruto just shrugs his shoulders, "I guess, but it might be best to wait since you never know when or if he'll give an interview, I mean, a guy who has the strength to lift a helicopter as well as yourself, and can fly isn't really someone I would want to mess with you know."
Cat simply nods her head, since she can agree with Naruto's logic, a guy who can do those things should be allowed to do the interview whenever he's good and ready, "Yeah, I agree, granted Perry would be angry at such a thing, but I'm sure he'll understand."
Unfortunately that was the end of their casual serious talk, since it soon devolved into a "game" of Cat and Mouse, with the characters being obvious, with Naruto managing to escape.
Though Perry noticed the two and shakes his head at what was happening, "Them two are a couple of troublemakers that even The King wouldn't even be able to smooth over with his songs." With that he went back to work, along with chewing some leaves that Clark and Naruto suggest for him to help calm his blood pressure, knowing that things may get a little hectic from now on, but then again, that journalism for you.

There you have it, the 1993 Superman live action tv series, with a Asgardian-Naruto twist to it, along with Naruto not only being "targeted" by Cat, but Cat also taking the 1978 Lois's place with the Helicopter, with some obvious differences.
Also, please keep in mind that the whole, Lois & Clark: The New Adventures Of Superman Pilot episode was well over 1 hour long, where as the usual episodes are 45 minutes, which is why this story was so long since I wanted to try and get the whole episode in one chapter, which is why there's barely any dialogue in this chapter.
As for the pairing, obviously it'd be Clark and Lois, where as Naruto ends up with Cat, since she wouldn't take "no" for an answer. lol
