It was a normal school for everyone that attended Downtown City High walking through the hallways and chatting with other students among them was Philippa the niece of Judi Jo Jameson's husband that helps Judi Jo at dog pageants. She was suppose to play with Princess Stori but Judi was requiring her to carry luggage and serve drinks. She had went with Judi Jo to Terriers and Tiaras pageant, fulfilling her demands and went Princess Stori had failed to win her aunt gave up on him and left him in her niece's care. Philippa had brown hair, brown eyes and freckles. She wears a white shirt with a blue shirt underneath and also wears black tights and maroon shoes. Standing in front of her locker overhears students talking
Student : man Sue is really awesome
Student #2 : you said it she really is amazing to be on our track team
Student : yep we wouldn't have won any of our races on the track without her amazing speed
Student : of course there will be no one else like her
Philippa : (sighs) i wish i was athletic like Sue is then i can feel good about myself
Finishing grabbing her books for her history class and closes it and begins to walk away when she bumps into Sue Patterson dropping all of her textbook onto the floor and she herself fell backwards landing on her butt there Sue helps her up and picks up her textbook as well. Sue has a slim atheltic build, being the tallest of her friends, with fair skin and bright, sky blue eyes. She has peach lips and orange-brown eyebrows. Her hair was bright orange and a little messy, worn with a few yellow hair clips. Usually wears a yellow short-sleeved shirt with a white T-shirt underneath, red trousers with a number 5 on her pants legs and blue trainers.
Sue : hey sorry about that i wasn't looking where i was going
Philippa : don't worry it's fine
Sue : what you were doing anyway ?
Philippa : i was gathering my books from my locker for my history class when i heard three students chatting and talking about you
Sue : oh yeah since i'm on this school's track team everyone is impressed by how fast i could run
Philippa : you're very lucky to have a very athletic skill since i don't have none at all
Sue : i never knew since i barely see you outside of school
Philippa : yeah since i stay at home with Princess Stori spending time with him also taking care of him. going for walks, feeding and bathing him until i go to sleep where i sleep in my bed
Sue : uh-huh
Philippa : while he sleeps in his doggy bed that my aunt had made for him so i never had a chance to try out a sport or sports for that matter
Sue : you should i try a sport i heard that this school has a school swim team and looking for members to join
Philippa : hmmm...
Sue : well i have to go now to my friends are waiting for me
Philippa : ok
Sue : you should try out i'm sure that you will do well by joining their team
Philippa : i don't know if i have what it takes i mean you have very athletic skill with what you do for Downtown City High's track team
Sue : that is because i truly believe in myself and see myself overcoming obstacles so if you believe in yourself you can overcome obstacles as well
Philippa : believeing in myself huh ?
Sue : yep now i have to go join Blythe , Youngmee and Jasper in Mr Bank's Poetry Class
She runs away quickly to avoid being late leaving Phiilippa standing there holding her books in her arms thinking about what Sue had said letting her words sink into her mind from there she went to her history class and sat through their teacher's history class remembering what Sue had told before she had ran off.
Sue : if you believe in yourself you overcome obstacles as well
Philippa : that's it i am going to try out for this school's swim team and believe myself
After that her history class ends and Judi Jo Jameson's Husband's niece went to their swimming pool that was adjacent to their school's gym and the Gym Teacher was there as well seeing other girls there now Philippa had put a dark purple-red swim cap over her brown hair and a dark purple red one piece swimsuit with yellow lining this was her first time that her legs were shown along with her feet that was when their Gym Teacher came over to her.
Gym Teacher : so you're trying out for this school's swim team ?
Philippa : yes i am
Gym Teacher : alright Philippa go on that diving board over there and show me what you can do if you can swim 25 meters to one end and back then you're on our team
Philippa : alright got it
So she went ahead and climbed on a white diving board and did her diving pose stance then she thrusts her body forward off that diving board and dove into their pool and was underwater for a few seconds befure surfacing now swimming her face was wet along with her face that had freckles on it along with her swim cap and one piece swimsuit her swim style was the front crawl with her face laying down and her arms moving simultaneously with her legs as she was swimming while Gym Teacher watched as she reached one end of their pool and kicked off the pool wall that swam back toward their Gym Teacher and stopped swimming place her hand on a brown surface while treading water on that end now impressed with her swimming speed which was at high speed.
Gym Teacher : that was impressive! I've never seen anyone 25 meters to one end of a pool and back well Philippa you just made the school's varisty swim team
Philippa : oh thank you i'm very happy
After that she changed back into her normal clothes and came out of Downtown City High and took a bus home where she leaped off and came running in when she did her pet Princess Stori came running toward his owner and leaped into her arms as sheld them open.
Philippa : hi! Princess Stori! I missed you boy
Judi Jo Jameson had came as well with her large sienna brown hair curled up poof and white heart shape piercings. She was wearing a violet dress shirt, a bow tie belt with a lighter tint, and violet high heels who was a lot less mean and bossy now.
Judi Jo Jameson : what happened ?
Philippa : i made the school's varisty swim team after i tried out earlier
Judi Jo Jameson : that's amazing
Philippa : yep now i'm going to be competing with other female members that is on the team against other schools that have swim teams as well
Judi Jo Jameson : i see well i can help you if you have trouble being in water
Philippa : ok sure besides my legs and arms could use some time to get adjusted to being in water
Judi Jo Jameson : i have a Endless Pool out back that i saw on tv just two weeks ago we can use and it has a Water Well
Philippa : alright
Judi Jo Jameson and Philippa were now going to use her aunt's Endless Pool and Water Well in order to help her get comfortable being in water and also prepared for out of town swimming events making this a very beginning of something for her niece to like and enjoy.
