Hello! Yes this story is still alive and kicking and hasn't been abandoned...yet
Hopefully you guys like it.
Nine down. Six more chapters to go.
Enjoy....
Family? Friends?
What do you need them for?
Indeed, having a family and friends makes you feel...wanted and that you belong.
It makes you feel like you're part of something and that you matter.
But...
It comes with a price...
Having friends...a family.
It makes you vulnerable.
You find yourself getting attached.
And the more you get attached...the more you will risk your life for them.
It makes you exposed...and weak.
Therefore...
It's better that you're alone...
Isn't that right....
Loki?
Bill Luz found herself motionless as she opened her eyes in an unfamiliar place.
She found herself lying on a bed of leaves in the ruins of a village. Feeling a cold chill from the air, Bill Luz hugged herself as she involuntarily shivered "Where the hell am I?" she said trying to warm herself
"What the fuck is this place?" she looked around. For some reason there was something familiar about this place that she just can't pin her head on.
Just then Bill Luz feels a presence from behind her. Turning around there stands a mirror. Curiously she walked slowly up to it. She then stretched her hand out towards the mirror.
Now standing in front of the mirror she stumbled back in surprise when she saw her old self as Bill Cipher self staring back at her. It even came with her previous beautiful triangular body.
For a moment she thought she managed to get her old body and powers back but much to her disappointment when she looked down on her arms she saw that no she was still in her stupid human body.
"Well I'm definitely going insane...again but what else is new" Bill Luz pinched the bridge of her nose in annoyance.
She was about to walk away to figure out how to get out of this weird place when all of a sudden multiple skeletal arms emerged from the mirror and grabbed her. She barely had time to cast a spell to defend herself when the arms dragged her into the mirror as her vision was consumed by darkness
When she opened her eyes again she now found herself sitting on a chair in what appeared to be an unfamiliar room filled with all sorts of books and strange artifact. She was about to question where she was this time when she heard a voice she never thought she would ever hear again...
"Loki?"
Turning around her eyes nearly pops out in shock...It couldn't be. There was no way this is real.
Standing before him was none other than Odin Borson, King of the Aesir, Lord of the Hanged, The Raven King and...
The closest person she had to a brother...before he decided to fuck it all up with his paranoia.
No...No no no. This can't be real.
There's no way any of this was real.
This All-fucker is supposed to be dead! She saw it with her own eyes! His son Fenrir killed him! and Asgard was So why the fuck is he here standing in front of her as if nothing happened.
"Loki are you alright? You've been quiet for a while. Did you pull another prank on Thor? One of these days he's going to break your body if you don't leave him alone" Odin asked in amusement
"I...I don't..." Bill Luz found herself unable to compose any proper words. What does she even say? He wanted to scream and even try to rip out his other eye but oddly she found herself unwilling to do any of that towards this asshole.
Bill Luz lets out a sigh "I just had the strangest dream" she isn't even all that surprised to see her reflection in a nearby mirror and saw Loki staring back. She never thought she would see that again too.
"A dream? I thought you don't get dreams on account of you being a dream demon" Odin pointed out in a concerned tone "Are you sure you're alright?"
"It must be this body you made messing with my head then" Bill Luz pointed out, sounding irritated while getting up.
"I see..." Odin got a thoughtful look on his face. He opened his mouth to say something but Bill Luz cut him off
"Look I don't want to discuss this with you ok?" Bill Luz said sounding defensive
"If that's what you want ok. Though would you care to accompany me to the Great Lodge instead? I heard your wife Sigyn is making her specialty. Maybe a bowl will make you less grumpy" Odin let out a smile
Sigyn. Yeah she remembered Sigyn. She was a fine woman. Odin was the one who set her up with her. She never did imagine herself being married since she normally find these...humanoids disgusting yet somehow Sigyn managed to creep her way into the organ that pumps blood to her body.
Yeah it would be nice to see Sigyn again "You know what fi-"
Bill Luz never got to finish her sentence as when she turned around she found herself standing before the scene of none other than Ragnarok, The Twilight of the Gods.
It was utter chaos. Seeing something like this should excite her but instead it made her feel something she rarely ever experience. Horror.
"Why did you do it Loki?"
Hearing Odin's cold voice, Bill Luz turned around to see the All-Father looking at him with utter hatred and contempt
"Why did you betray us?" Odin said accusing "You had everything. Friends, A home, a family, yet you threw it all away"
"I..." Bill Luz found himself unable to come up with a retort.
"All of this destruction of everything we worked for. Why?! You had all you could have asked for, Loki. Yet you chose the path of chaos and death just like before. But what would you care after all? You can just travel to another realm and try again. Just remember this, all of this! It's what you brought with you and in the end it's what you will bring to that new family of yours. And you'll feel nothing at all. Just as always."
Before Bill Luz could even retort Odin suddenly summoned the spear of heaven and thrusts towards her.
Bill Luz woke up with a start. She was in a cold sweat. It didn't take her long to realize that she had just experienced a nightmare...fuck!
"A nightmare? You've got to be kidding me" Bill Luz facepalmed. Of all the things to experience this was the most embarrassing. Yeah she has really fallen from grace. Bill Cipher experiencing a nightmare. Oh the freaking irony of it.
For a moment she really thought that...
It doesn't matter.
She needs a glass of water.
With an annoyed sigh, Bill Luz got up from her bed and made her way to the kitchen.
However on the way she walks through the living room and she sees something that makes her pause in her tracks.
It was the frilly look alike snuggling with her parents on the couch.
Oh right she had almost forgotten that the vile woman and the idiot had for some reason agreed to take in the little frilly look alike. Did nothing phase these idiots? They didn't even have an excuse of that thing looking like a human girl because she looks like a snake demon.
At this point Bill Luz wouldn't even be surprised anymore if they somehow decided to adopt a fire giant destined to destroy all of creation. These two were too sympathetic for their own good. Did they not know that the universe doesn't care if you're good or bad?
These morons really know how to push her buttons without even knowing it.
Yet...
For some reason the sight of the three together on the couch...irritates her.
A part Bill Luz now looks forward to his therapy sessions...a little.
It was the only place she knows she could complain without receiving too much judgment or backlash but that's probably because Mango enjoys tormenting her by pretending to be all wise and understanding. What a prick
She was a little interested in how this guy knows so much but unfortunately he's good at keeping his own secrets. One of these days she's going to dig through everything he knows. Just wait.
"So, how have things been since we last talked? Anything interesting happen. Made any new friends?" Mango started as they usually did
Bill Luz scoffed at his guesses "As if. I have been putting my talents into something actually worth while. I've managed to utilize my powers to manipulate sands. It's a familiar ability" She explains as she summons sand into her hands and makes it take on different shapes" I was the sandman for a time.
"The Sandman. Like dreamland? You're pulling my leg, right?" Mango raised a brow
"What do you think Mango?" Bill Luz said sarcastically
"Now what have we talked about?" Mango scolded
"Fine. Dr. Diaz" Bill Luz let out a groan. Humans and their stupid obsession with titles always annoyed her.
"Good. Anything else?" Mango further inquired
Bill Luz hesitated for a moment at that before speaking up "Well I have also managed to summon a foul creature from another realm. It's previous owner wasn't exactly pleased with me taking it but finder's keepers. It's name is Vee, apparently some kind of basilisk. I originally took it as...someone else. My parental figures have taken to caring for it and haven't left the beast's side"
"I see and this Vee is living in your home?" Mango seemed surprise to hear that
"Yes. I was going to use it's parts for research. Maybe get useful ingredients, but mo- I mean...the parents wanted to take her in and nurse her to health. They have been spending excessive amounts of time with her" Bill Luz couldn't help but sound annoyed
Mango seemed to write this down on his notepad before suddenly asking "How does that make you feel?"
Bill Luz found herself caught off guard with that question "Why are you asking me that that? It doesn't. I don't even care. They are just spending far too much time on that thing. I am their daughter after all. If anyone deserves their attention, it's..." she paused realizing what she was about to say
"Seems like someone is feeling jealous" Mango flashed a cheeky smile
"As if. Why the hell should I be jealous? If anything I'm glad they're no longer smothering me all the time. It gives me a lot more free time" Bill Luz hated how her human emotions made her feel like this!
"Are you sure it's not just-"
"I swear to whatever gods you worship if you bring up me getting 'attached' to these morons I will stab you" Bill Luz angrily said brandishing a pencil as a makeshift knife
"I was just going to say that maybe you lack sleep but its a good sign that's the first conclusion you came to" Mango said cheeckily
"You son of a-!"
Later that day Bill Luz came home to an unpleasant surprise.
His two idiotic parents have decided that they will adopt Vee instead of kicking her out because apparently they're afraid the government would just lock her away and experiment on her. So the thing is her sister now or something
Great. Another nuisance she's gonna have to put up with in the house. Her parents were already driving her borderline insane and now this shit.
Of course when she tries to excuse herself, Manny requested her to watch Vee for little while since she had fallen asleep on the couch again and they don't have a bed for her yet.
She had no choice but to comply but at least the thing was asleep so they won't be annoying her.
She can't believe she's doing this. This was already messing with her evening plans.
Bill Luz sat on a small chair next to the couch but she made no attempts to actually look over Vee anymore than she already has. Plus they were asleep so its not like she can do anything about that.
Of course just her luck that Vee suddenly started having a nightmare judging by how much she's whimpering in her sleep. Pathetic.
"N-No! Please I don't want to go back"
Crap. Bill Luz can't have this thing start crying or it will get messy with how much of a fuss Manny makes when it comes to shit like this. If only she still had her dream demon powers she can just dispel this but right now she's a human. How do they comfort crybabies again? "There there little frilly. Stop being a wuss" she awkwardly patted them but it didn't work as the thing was now trembling a little. At this rate theu were going to wake up and most likely cry which would be really annoying to deal with
Seeing there was no other choice it left her with one option.
"I can't believe I'm about to do this" Bill Luz got up and proceeded to lie down next to Vee who proceeded to hug her but at the same time it did calm the frilly down that they went back to sleep. Unfortunately they have no sense of personal space as they snuggled closer to her
Bill Luz has to admit. It was kinda cute
Oh fuck. She was finding this thing adorable
Bill Luz tried to get up but unfortunately the thing had an iron grip on her and effectively prevented her from moving unless she used force.
Crap. She was trapped
She was really tempted to push this frilly off her. But instead...she just let out an annoyed sigh at her current situation. Was she going soft? No she's simply being smart since making this thing cry was a sure fire way to anger the vile woman and disappoint the idiot.
She's going to let this slide just for once but no more than that. She's not going to get close with this thing. But if she does see potential she can play her cards right and she can get a helpful ally out of this.
She thought back to how mango keep insisting maybe she's changing and getting soft. She scowls
Bah! Bill Cipher getting soft? Nonsense. She's just playing it smart.
A/N:
Alright for this chapter we finally get some backstory on Bill Cipher. I got the idea from a certain Simpsons scene which made me think up of a story based off that
Hope you liked it.
Anyways see you next time.
