A/N:Hiiii y'alll!

I just watched the two episodes of the new PJO show and I love it soo much! 3333

So as usual, my mind gives me an idea and I run with it! (#BlameJoy, am I right, CE?)

But before that:

I wanna gift this fic to my bestie, Crystal Eclipse (on AO3 and Wattpad), because she is the one who reminded me about this show! I used to read PJO but I finished the series and promptly lost interest. So thanks girl for getting me back into this fandom! Girl, I hope this fic makes you feel better! 333

Anyways, for all of y'all who have no clue what I'm talking about, ENJOY!

Perseus Jackson, or Percy, as he preferred being called, was… interesting, to say the least.

When he first came to Camp Half Blood, he made quite an impression.

Killing a monster before even day 1 started was new. Of course, all the flair was gone when he passed out unheroic-ly (if that even was a word) on the ground.

But regardless, that dramatic entrance was something that Annabeth was hoping for. The hero whom she was destined to help. Yup, this kid seemed like the right kid-

XXX

Perseus Jackson, or Percy, as he preferred being called, was not the hero Annabeth expected he would be.

For starters, when he slept, he slept like a boy.

Well, duh, he was a boy but still… for the prophesied hero… snoring loudly like the way Percy scored was not at all what she expected.

Plus to add on top of that, he drooled. A lot.

Gross.

XXX

Perseus Jackson, or Percy, as he preferred being called, was a gullible idiot.

When Dioydius had told the blonde that he was his father, the kid… believed him.

From her hiding place, Annabeth pressed her hand against her mouth, trying to muffle her laughter. God's, this kid was hilariously gullible.

XXX

Perseus Jackson, or Percy, as he preferred being called, was horrible at all the activities.

Observing from a distance, Annabeth watched as the blond failed in multiple activities. It was funny watching him almost shoot someone's head off and almost burn down a cabin.

But, if she was going to admit, it was endearing, watching him. But there was no way she was going to admit that.

XXX

Perseus Jackson, or Percy, as he preferred being called, was a guy whose words made Annabeth cry.

When she saw Percy walk into the woods at night, being a daughter of Athena, she couldn't help but be curious.

She hid behind a tree, making sure she was hidden from his sight, but close enough to hear his every word.

As she watched him light a small fire, Annabeth could only guess that it was an offering for his father. But to her surprise, she was wrong.

"H-hi Mom…" Percy started. "I don't know if I'm doing this right. I hope you can hear me,"

He stared at the small fire, before continuing. Annabeth knew that she was invading his privacy. What he was saying was personal and she had no right to be eavesdropping, but for some reason, she couldn't leave.

Annabeth felt tears spring up in her eyes as she heard him. "... ignoring me is one thing, but he doesn't get to ignore you,"

Percy said, his voice hard and woven with emotions. "I'm gonna make him come down here. I'm gonna make him see me. I'm gonna make him see us both."

There was silence for a bit, and Annabeth held her breath, not daring to make a sound.

Then the small light from the can was extinguished as Percy blew out the flames.

Annabeth pressed herself against the tree, as he walked past her, his head hanging low.

She didn't sleep that night.

XXX

Perseus Jackson, or Percy, as he preferred being called, was a son of the Big Three, Annabeth was sure of it.

After watching three jets of water drench Clarise and her goons, Annabeth's lightning-fast mind was starting to form a theory.

One she would test in the next game of Capture the Flag.

Annabeth watched carefully as Percy "fought" back. His fighting technique wasn't that impressive… if you can even call it a technique.

Somehow, he managed to break Clarise's spear. Emphasis on somehow.

Just when she was about to beat Percy down to a pulp, Team Blue emerged from the woods, claiming the red team's flag. Clarise, now realizing that she had gotten distracted, let go of the blond, leaving the scene.

Annabeth took a moment to smile, feeling accomplished that her plan worked. After revealing herself to Percy and helping him up, she stood in front of him, planning how to fully prove her theory.

She ultimately decides to just push Percy into the river. Was that the best way to come about it? No, but who cares?

She finally got her answer as a glowing trident shimmered above the blond's head.

XXX

Perseus Jackson, or Percy, as he preferred being called, was the hero Annabeth was waiting for. After years, she had found him.

And if Annabeth was going to be honest, she was glad the hero she had been awaiting for years was Percy Jackson.

A/N: Welp, this is it!

Tbh, I'm not exactly happy with the way I wrote this. I think something is missing. But, anyways, I'm not sure if I'm gonna write more PJO stuff. Only time will tell.

I hope you enjoyed this fic! Feel free to comment but please use CLEAN and APPROPRIATE language!

Remember that God loves you, I love you, and JESUS IS LORD!

Byeeeee, have a good day/night! :3
