Hey guys, quick update regarding the fic since it's the next one that'll get a chapter:
Said chapter will be a wee bit delayed, since I have to go back and rewrite a lot of Chapter 1, plus bits and pieces of the subsequent chapters in order to properly comply with the changes done to Chapter 1.
A lot of it is related to character: with how much of a shitter Serena is in later chapters, her intro is too dour and depressed, so I gotta fix that pronto.
As for other changes, these will be it:
- Remove mentions of being an Innovator, in lieu of Serena instead being a Neos, the NewTypes of Despair Memory Gundam Sequel. Befitting a Neos having special abilities, hers will involve the crazy-ass regeneration they have. No pulling weapons from inside her body, though, this is a family-friendly environment, goddammit.
- Make the physical description of her avatar, and thus her body, better fit the art done of her so far. It'll also include more mentions of some cosmetics she added to her avatar that weren't going to show up until later, but I feel like it's better to mention them now.
- Add more mentions of people reacting to her freaky appearance, seriously, why did I not had mentions of people staring at the fucking 7ft tall ogre of a woman with horns? That needs to be fixed.
- Change up the description of Valefor to better fit what I have planned for its appearance.
Plus some general fixes.
Also, to keep things mostly centralized, I'm running a poll on SpaceBattles regarding another decision for the fic: if people want Serena to have an EL-Diver tagging along for the ride.
The vote will go until next week, and depending on the results, said EL-Diver may or may not be included.
