It took a while to get out of the hive, not that a human could crawl through such a tight space quickly. When Aurelia finally came out, her companion had probably started to get bored.
- Where now ? She asked
Aurelia started down the corridor, if she wanted to research anything she had to do two things, find an undamaged laboratory and restore the electricity. The first one was successful, seemed that the fighting had bypassed this small laboratory, everything looked as if the employees had only left for a moment, she noticed a lab coat on the chair, it must have belonged to someone tall because it was big, she took it in her hand and gave it to her
- Put this on and button up because I won't be able to concentrate.
For some reason, only now she noticed that she had no back tubes, the xenomorph giggled and put on an apron that reached her thighs, fastened the buttons, leaving a large cleavage.
- Do you have a name? Aurelia asked
- No... she replied... we don't use them in the nest. Unless you propose some. Aurelia thought for a moment.
- Maybe let it be... Samantha. Do you like it? She nodded
They set off through the corridors, if Aurelia remembered correctly, the backup generators should have been in the security room, they could run for several months, if they were set to power only one room, they could run for up to a year.
Good thing Aurelia had a strong stomach, the security room looked like an African slaughterhouse, there was blood everywhere, even on the ceiling, the generator was in a small room, she knew that these generators were only supposed to power a specific part of the building, she checked the list of rooms, her small laboratory was on the list, turning off everything else, they returned to the laboratory. Aurelia took a syringe from the cabinet, all the tools here were highly acid-resistant.
- I will need blood from a sick xenomorph . She said, trying not to stare at her cleavage. She really couldn't have buttoned two more buttons?
- A few of my brothers are always hanging around the facility... Samantha said... come.
They found one alien in the canteen, he seemed to be looking at the cans of food with curiosity, he turned around when they entered, he didn't hiss, the queen forbade everyone to attack Aurelie, he had a big blister on his head.
- I'll explain to him what's going on... said Samantha, Aurelia watched the two xenomorphs look at each other, the latter after a moment nodded and bowed his head... now.
- It's telepathy, right? Aurelia asked
- What? she asked confused
- This is what we humans call a conversation between the minds of two beings. The look on Samantha's face suggested that she understood
- Yes, it's telepathy. Although this has a limited scope. Only the queen can speak to us from almost any distance.
Aurelia stuck a needle into the blister on the alien's head and took some blood. During the tests, they managed to determine that, apart from its color and corrosive properties, the blood of xenomorphs is like any other, and it was even possible to determine from whom a given alien was born.
Xenomorphs hissed softly, not in anger but more in relief, draining the blood from the blister must have lessened the pain, just as she was about to turn and leave, alien reached out and hugged her, maybe it was just her imagination but Samantha's eyes suddenly seemed jealous.
- Thank you for reducing the pain. Samantha said.
Aurelia nodded and carefully patted his head, he purred softly, it was a bit comical.
They returned to the lab, Aurelia put the blood sample into the machine, went to the computer and started testing the blood. She immediately dismissed the possibility that it was a virus or bacteria, neither of which could survive in acidic blood. She started testing DNA, she knew that some scientists were conducting research and experiments on themselves.
Her theory was that the queen was born with a genetic condition and passed it on to her offspring. If it were otherwise, only one xenomorph would die from it.
- Fascinating. Samantha said, looking over her shoulder.
Aurelia felt hot as her tits pressed against her back.
- I know... She said, trying to sound normal... When I finish the tests, I can show you and explain a few things.
- You tell me about people and this... She pointed to the computer.
- Technology. Aurelia said.
- Yes, technology and I will tell you about my species. Is that fair?
- Yes. Maybe you can also tell me why you are so different from others.
- I can't say it because I don't know. Even the queen couldn't explain it. She said, slapping her breasts for emphasis, making them bounce.
Aurelia swallowed and turned her head.
The DNA was indeed heavily modified, but very clumsily, it was all heavily damaged, it literally looked as if someone had cut it up and intertwined it with random genes. Damn it, she'll have to find the queen's host to get the cure. As long as his body hasn't rotted yet.
Aurelia yawned heavily, turned off the computer and headed to her room, finally able to lie down in a normal bed and not in the moonshine closet.
She entered room 445, it looked just as she had left it the day the xenomorphs were released, minus the layer of dust. She started to take off her clothes when she remembered she wasn't alone. She turned to look at Samantha, she stood there staring.
- Are you going to stare?
- Did you forget that I was naked too? She said, theatrically adjusting her lab coat.
- Oh, that's right... Aurelia thought... Are you even sleeping? She asked, changing the subject.
- When we get tired, or out of boredom, and some just like it. We only need an hour, two at most.
Aurelia lay down and fell asleep almost immediately, before she felt something lie down next to her and cuddle up to her.
