So I wanted to write this chapter due to how hilarious it is, but due to it being Season 1 Episode 10, I pretty much had to switch things around, just to get this chapter out of my system.

Hopefully everyone enjoys it and someone eventually adopts it.

Chapter 2

Pheromone, My Lovely

Daily Planet

It was just a normal work day for the people of the Daily Planet, though the News Report was kinda slow and boring for most, so slow in fact that even Lois found it boring, though things kinda picked up when some perfume models came barreling in, which kinda confused Perry at first, since he didn't really hear about it, or maybe the whole thing slipped his mind, that is until Cat jumped in, explaining how Marketing had set the whole thing up for months, until she gets a little excited about the well known models appearing out of the elevator.

Where she soon vanished in order to get an interview(gossip) with the models, though Jimmy was "star-struck" at the beautiful models, where he tried to get Perry to look, but the Editor-in-Chief didn't want to chance his wife finding out.

Though Clark couldn't help but point out that there was no way that the Chief's wife could find out, only for the man to state, "Oh! She's got spies everywhere!"

With Naruto nodding, "Ye~ah, I gotta agree with the Chief on this one Clark, I mean, remember how mom found out about-!" But before Naruto could finish what he was gonna say, Clark stopped him by putting his hand over Naruto's mouth, where Clark quickly eyed eyed the others, who showed their amused smiles, letting Naruto know that they'd have a field day with what they did as kids.

So Naruto quickly brushes his brother's hand off, and quickly moved away, though Lois wanted to chase Naruto down for the info, she knew by now, that Naruto can be tight-lipped at times, though on occasion he tends to slip up every once in a while, but she decides to move and get back to work.

Though thankfully, Jimmy caught their attention, wanting to know what his chances were to get a date from one of the models, but the looks on the others faces told him otherwise.

Few Hours Later (A.N. Skipping the Lex and Miranda thing, since it's basically the same as canon.)

Soon the whole perfume Marketing Campaign was in full swing, with the sprayers going around, letting people smell their products, with Lois groaning and moaning negatively about the models, though Clark and Jimmy were busy, seeing the models walk about the newsroom.

Though when Clark suggested to Lois that they should "play hooky" she denied it extremely, but when Clark inadvertently pointed out that Lois was "no fun" he really didn't know what to say about that, where at that point he started to inspect his tie, finding it more easier to deal with than an angry Lois.

But before anything else could get out of hand, namely Clark's faux pas of getting Lois angry at him, a woman went by them and sprayed them, but yet she also managed to spray Perry with it as well, but unfortunately, the spray was foul, like "mouldy sweat socks" as Perry had put it, with Lois, Clark and Jimmy trying to get the smell away from them.

With the same woman moving past Cat, slowly making her way to the elevator, all the while having a knowing smirk on her face.

Few Minutes Later

It wasn't long before everyone began acting "strange" at the Daily Planet, with Lois becoming "interested" in Clark, while Jimmy became "interested" with one of the models, though while Clark was trying to "fight-off" Lois, Consuela, the cleaning lady, soon rushed out of Perry's office in tears about something, making Clark confused and worried about such a thing.

That is until Perry rushed out after her, before it turns out Perry was "interested" in Consuela, just like how Lois is towards Clark, himself, where Clark tried to remind Perry about the man's wife having spies allround, even pointed out that Elvis didn't cheat on Priscilla, but that didn't seem to stop Perry at all.

But while this was happening in the office, Naruto was in the Duplicating Room, with Cat, since it turned out due to his looks and accent, he had a better interview with the models than Cat did, though at the moment he was waiting for Cat to finish printing her original copy of her interview, but there was a slight problem.

"What's up Cat?"

With Cat huffing at the machine, "This damn thing "ate" my original copy, if it's not fixed then I'm gonna have to rewrite it from scratch."

Hearing this, Naruto moves in front of her, "Okay, how about I have a look for ya, since I need to use it too." Soon Naruto began having a look inside it, trying to not only find the problem, but maybe help Cat find her original copy, cos even though they worked on the same interview, Naruto only wanted to "win" fairly against Cat, not using underhanded tactics.

Though while Naruto was busy working, having taken his jacket off, leaving him in only his shirt and tie, Cat suddenly realised something, "You seem pretty capable at this." With her thoughts coming to an "interesting" idea for her.

As for Naruto, "I've always been good with my hands." Since it was basically true, thanks to his lightning powers, Naruto was able to fix/repair just about anything that has wires in it, using said powers to reconnect or fix things, though thankfully he always managed to use discretion to hide his powers, so no one knew about them.

Unfortunately, depending who you are, this answer caught Cat's attention, where before long, Naruto looks towards her, his eyes soon widening in realisation and very quickly noticed his "mistake" FAR too late.

Newsroom

While that was happening, Clark was having his own set of problems, though he soon managed to slip away, considering how the usual stubborn and frustrated Lois was now acting like a cat staving for attention, speaking of which, Clark soon began hearing something coming from the Duplicating Room, where due to his curiosity, he slid his glasses down slightly and used his X-Ray Vision, though he soon wished he didn't, "Oh, My, Gya-! Naruto!?"

But thankfully he was soon grabbed by Lois again, who dragged him off by his tie somewhere, yet while this was happening, the person who sprayed everyone smiled at her results and made her exit to the elevator, leaving the Daily Planet in a state of "Explosive Valentines" foolishness.

Next Day

Though Clark had managed to "escape" Lois for the time being, he just couldn't think how such a thing could happen, though when he entered the Newsroom, the whole place had changed over night, almost like Valentines Day had thrown up on everyone, though while this was happening, it would seem that Naruto and Cat were still in the Duplicating Room, with Clark somehow figuring out what might have happened, but needed to rush off to follow through on his thoughts.

Yet after saving Jimmy from nearly getting run over by a truck, with Perry get whacked in the face by Consuela's husband, Clark began doing his research, looking through as many magazines as he can to find the person that had sprayed everyone who was drunk on love, and figure out how to reverse the effects.

That is until Lois entered his apartment, doing the "Dance of the Seven Veils" for Clark, where she was close to finding out Clark's secret identity.

Next Day Again

Yet while Clark, and a very hungover, and very embarrassed Lois, who was thankful the spray had worn off, began looking into the creator of the spay, Naruto and Cat were somehow still going at it, at one point she even grabbed something and ripped it out of the machine, making Naruto gulp and wonder to himself, "Just how insatiable can Cat be that she can last THIS long with an Asgardian!"

Since even Naruto doesn't know if he'll be able to "survive" such a woman.

Next Day Again, Again (You can kinda see where this is going. lol)

Once everyone had "moved on" from their embarrassing 48 hour love-drunk, Perry soon started the meeting, while stating that certain things have been dropped, with his wife Alice letting him back in the house, though Cat soon came walking(limping) into the meeting, with Clark feeling slightly awkward around her, considering what he saw in the Duplicating Room.

Cat soon passed Perry a note, "This is from Naruto, it seems he has a slight "dislocated" hip from a previous activity." She calmly states with a satisfied smile.

Of course such a statement shocked Clark, since his brother was basically just as strong as himself, but to hear that Naruto had "injured" himself to get such a thing made even him wonder how she had done it.

Though what was more shocking was apparently she didn't get sprayed and such an act was "all-natural" for her.

Naruto's Apartment

As for the blond Asgardian, he soon crashed into his place of residence, his clothes a complete mess while being in a state of shock, he spots his fridge and wobbles over towards it, shakily opens the appliance and takes out a 4 liter of orange juice, grabs the top and rips it, not really caring about using his strength for such a thing, then in 2 seconds he had gulped down every drop of the liquid.

Where he releases a powerful sigh of relief, "(SIGH!) SO THAT'S HOW "HUNGRY" SHE WAS!" He couldn't help but say in a squeaky voice, showing just what type of woman Cat was, "(A-Ahem!) I-I think I'll skip dinner tonight~"

"BOOOOM! CRRRRRRAAAAAAAASSSSSHHHH! (SNNNNOOOOOOOORRRRRREEEEEEEEE!)

At that moment, Naruto had fallen unconscious, completely out of energy and had broken his table into kindlings, yet at the moment, he didn't really care, since right now, he just wanted sleep, possibly for the next few days, though during one of those days, Clark had visited Naruto to see how he was, after saving Metropolis from the pheromone that the woman was gonna spray the whole city with.

But the moment he saw Naruto on the floor, in such a state, Clark quickly went to check on Naruto in worry, but soon calmed down when all he hears was Naruto lightly snoring away, with that, Clark figures he'd help Naruto out by putting him in bed and cleaning what was left of his table away, since he could always tell Naruto what had happened after the blond wakes up, "Boy won't Naruto be surprised that Cat didn't get sprayed." He couldn't help but chuckle at the response he's gonna get from his brother from that.

The End.

I also figured this would be a good place for a few lemons, mostly of Naruto and Cat, since, well, it's Cat and Naruto in the Duplicating Room, nowhere for Naruto to escape a "hungry" Cat. lol

But since I can't really write lemons, I'll leave it for whoever adopts.

Also don't forget that a lot of stuff on this chapter is mostly canon since Naruto will be "busy" for the next few days with Cat. lol
