As such I had her block the restroom with a pile of books she made herself. Went back and fixed the issue. Raising the dead is something I'm sure Danny would say "ew" to. For your question on the DP world, you don't have to worry about it since it will be addressed later on.

Luisegluna: That is actually what I have planned. For moments that require singing from a character, it will be a chapter where I put the song, but for other non-singing moments that just have a song I attach to the scene, I will only recommend it. But the song chapters will not be abundant. Interesting idea for the items but I don't have any current plans for the items. But the fic is still young so who knows?
Julimart: glad you liked it. I felt that Danny would still embarrass himself from time to time even now that he is in a pony body. Twilight is the best one to do so since they live in the same building. That is a secret for later. I have a new idea to use for the musical aspect. It will be in a notice set after these reviews. "Celestial Spirit" I like that name, is there a way I can make that a thing for the two? That would be an interesting question for Spike to ask and I could potentially make a scene with that Catwoman thing in mind. Yeah, I remember that you did inform me about it. If I see another julimart but in guest format, I'll ignore it.
XaralandoWyattWyatt: that actually gives me an idea to use for a later chapter. It'll be a fun chapter to do and I hope you and the other readers enjoy it when it arrives. Good idea for Spike and I might do it.

KorevainsoLightshire: having Danny wondering why songs are suddenly breaking out would be funny as he just wouldn't get it. Like his mouth just starts moving without his conscious control. He would be driving himself crazy with it. I have a plan for the song bits that will be described in the notice that will be right after this review's corner.
Danny should be able to send it out of other areas. I just think that as a pony, it naturally heads to his horn. Danny learning magic is something that I am excited to do as I have new ideas on how to separate magic and his ecto energy. Hope you like this chapter

A6spike: the reaction from the others will be fun to write. The comic part is something that will bring up some fun scenes. Actually, the exploring he said he did was a lie as he just couldn't think of something to say that explained why he didn't know a lot. Twilight will only examine the energy, not really try to use it. And yeah, it is an energy that will kill anyone else that uses it.
TheWhiteTitan: The Gala is something I am looking forward to as I have plans for the event. As someone who isn't a fan of donuts… I can say, I would go for the donuts too since I am less of a guy that can handle such high-class events. The chapters with Rainbow Dash teaching Danny how to use his wings and Rarity making his suit will be fun to write. Yeah, finding out he was a different species is a bit more shocking than him growing a horn. For your last question, not sure but we will have to wait and see.

ArashiNokitsune: The Gala will be a very interesting event with Danny there. For him to learn magic, yeah, he will become more powerful with it adding to his Ecto energy. I had fun writing the part of him Applebucking
AA6: yeah, Spike being a kid is something I want to focus on, especially since Danny is a comic book hero. The apple picking was fun to write and I felt that Celestia would remember about Sunset Shimmer when told about humans and their appearance.
Valle95: glad you didn't have a problem with the songfic chapter. I felt that Cadence should get some more screen time since she isn't in the series much. As for adding Cadence or not, there is still time for that to be solidified on whether she is added or not. We will see how it goes with her but regardless of that, she will gain a friendship with Danny.
LordGriffin1000: for the EQ versions, I kinda have an idea to use but that will be done later on in the fic
Adrianfilex622: events will be interesting when they get to the Gala. you gave me a few ideas for the Gala. Lessons in flight and magic will be coming up soon and they will be fun to write. For Danny's weather powers, he just might regain them.

David Teague 3950: not sure if it is French but I think it is Spanish actually. I can ask the Discord channel I am on to see if anyone will take it up but I don't know if they will. I will not be doing it since I haven't played many of the Monster Hunter games. And I don't think I will do it since I already have enough stories.
Colacheunion: yeah, he will be. He just might be with Celestia when the girls have their sleepover
Purpurawolf76: I figured that Spike wouldn't get the implications of the two living together. I felt that he should learn some magic as a bonus to what he does in Equestria. I have a plan for the comics. He will tell the others more about his past as they deserve to know. I also plan on having a chapter on the snowy winter. As for Discord, I have an idea of what to do for him.
Guest 1: I will continue that story but please don't put a review asking for updates on another story.
CaseGuide900032: maybe but there isn't much drama that would come from keeping it a secret. In other MLP X Danny Phantom fics, his keeping a secret may come from his experience of hiding from the GIW but I didn't want to do the same cliche. Also, he didn't come to this world to hide from problems in his world, he came here to help. So there is less reason to hide it. I didn't want to add that kind of drama since it would seem too contrived.
JAKEkenstein: I forgot about him. Should be interesting how I make Danny act around him.
Music aspect notice
Now I have heard some of you do not like the idea of Songfic chapters and that I should just put in the song suggestions. Now Here is my idea
For moments that REQUIRE one of the ponies to sing, I can't just suggest the song and go with it. It wouldn't work as I tried it with one of my future ideas and it just doesn't work.
HOWEVER, these moments will not be constant. They will show up sparingly.
There are other moments that I have music attached to them but I will only put the (Play: "whatever song works" by "the silliness in my head"). So when that happens, you can just play the song on YouTube as you read.
Again, the singing parts will be rare and only when it is NEEDED
I hope this doesn't bother a lot of you and you continue to read the story regardless.
PS: there are two more VERY IMPORTANT notices in the End Authors notes. Please read it when you get there as one of them affects this story EXPLICITLY.

Chapter 9: Moments of the past
Danny was looking around as he had no idea where he was. The last thing he remembered was him and Twilight going over some of the magical books that would help him learn how to use magic while also talking about current events.
The first major event of notice was when Applejack decided to take up a job that was far more than she could handle. At first, it wasn't noticeable that it was taking that big of a toll on her but as time continued, Danny could tell that she was exhausted and he offered to help her. She denied his assistance as she said that nothing was wrong.
The thing that clenched it that he should help her was when BigMac came to him specifically.
~Flashback~
Danny was in the library, looking over the sections that were on the shelves when he heard a knocking on the door. Seeing Twilight working on putting the books in order, he moved over to see who it was. When he opened the door, he was surprised to see Bigmac with a look of concern. "BigMac? What's wrong?"
The larger stallion sighed before speaking. "Ah Need yer help."
Danny tilted his head as he wondered what the brother of Applejack could need from him. He felt Twilight come up at his side and looked at her as if she could have the answer. Seeing that she didn't, he asked BigMac. "With what?"
BigMac sighed before he continued. "Mah sister. Ah know that she said she would take on all the bucking for the season but ah think she is biting off more than she can chew and can't keep up. She is tired but she won't listen ta me. Ah'm hoping that ya might have better luck with her than me."
Danny wasn't sure why BigMac thought he would have a better chance but if he could get her to take things easy, he would do it. He knew she was tired, but her brother getting worried about it told him that it was bad. "Alright, not sure if she will listen to me more but I'll try."
Danny was walking through the trees in search of Applejack since Bigmac told him she was around here somewhere. He paused when he heard some thunking and made his way toward it. It took him a second to find the one making it and he couldn't help but let out an amused and worried sigh.
Applejack was facing away from a tree and trying to buck the apples out of them. But the problem was that she was only tapping one of her back hooves over and over again on the tree while her head was tilting down a tad with her eyes closed.
Danny could tell that she was already asleep so he was going to make sure that she was at least comfortable. He walked up to her before speaking softly. "Applejack?"
The mare slowly opened her eyes halfway before looking at the one that spoke. Her vision was blurry and she could barely focus, but she was able to see that it was Danny, which caused her to smile. "Danny~ howdy~ now watcha'll doing here?" She giggled as she turned to face him, only to stumble a few steps to the side. She caught herself before giggling again.
Now, Danny's amusement didn't diminish but he was more worried about her well-being. He walked up to her, only to bolt forward as she began to tilt to the side, as if a statue was pushed. He caught her with one hoof before looking at her. He could almost see the delirious bubbles around her head. "Applejack, how long have you been working on these trees?"
Applejack pursed her lips as she tilted her head back. "I done seen that big shiny ball in the sky change color two times….. Or five times….. Or ducks." She giggled a few more with a small snort coming from her.
Danny couldn't help but find her snort cute but now needed to get her inside. "Applejack, you need to go to bed. This isn't good for you."
Applejack shook her head. "Ah'm not gonna stop till I get all the balloons out of the tree." She then looked up as if looking for something. "Where's mah hat?"
Danny would have thought it was funny, if these came from Pinky Pie since that mare can be silly enough for this, but from Applejack, the serious hard worker, this was not good. He lowered his head before he was under the mare and lifted her onto his back. Once that was done, he began to make his way toward the barn.
"Hey, where ya taking me?"
"To bed."
Applejack pouted before she began to shimmy on his back as if trying to get off. "No! Ah still gotta get them apples!"
Danny shook his head before he hopped, bouncing her a bit on his back, and getting her to stop. "Applejack, you called the apples 'balloons' a second ago. You can barely stand on your own hooves, and when I first got here, you were asleep on your hooves as you tried to buck the tree."
"But ah said-"
"I know you said that you would get all the apple bucking done for the season, but you don't have to do it alone. Sometimes, when you are faced with a task that you know is too much for you, it doesn't hurt to have some help." He looked over his shoulder and looked at the mare who had her head leaning on his shoulder. "So what we are going to do, is get you to bed, you are going to have a full bout of sleep, and then when you wake up, your friends are going to help you finish in time." He gave her a hard look telling her that this word was final.
Applejack wanted to deny it but her lack of energy took the fight out of her. She slumped as she just chose to let him take her to bed. She leaned her head next to his and couldn't help but allow the soft bouncing movement of him carrying her to lull her to sleep.
Danny saw her close her eyes and heard her breathing even out, telling him that she had fallen asleep. She looked back forward and made a mental note to ask the other mares to help Applejack get the rest of the apples. He heard her mumble about getting the apples and smiled as he had to admire her dedication. He continued into the Barnhouse and didn't notice her head snuggle into his mane.
As she fell completely into unconsciousness, she wondered why she felt so comfortable
~end flashback 1~
After that, he and the other mares helped Applejack finish up in time and she decided to take a break from work.
At least for a day.
Then there was the thing with Rainbow Dash's griffon friend.
The issue was how… difficult she was.
~Flashback 2~
Danny was walking through town since he felt like enjoying the day. He was still greeted as someone of higher status, but they didn't bow to him every time he walked by.
…..well, not all of them
They still did their best to appeal to him but they were getting more on friendly terms.
Danny nodded his thanks to the apple vendor before he walked away and took a bite from the apple. 'Ok, I'll admit it, I love a good apple in the afternoon.' He was also glad he was able to get the hang of walking on just three hooves while holding up the apple with one. He was about to take another bite of his apple when he saw something that caused him to pause.
Fluttershy was crying.
She was visibly crying as she ran away from something that obviously upset her.
Seeing the shy pegasus cry did not sit right with him and he dropped the apple to catch up with her. When he saw her fly away, he transformed and flew after her. He would have caught up with her but he didn't feel like they should talk in the sky. Yet it was when he felt a bit of water hit him in the face, that he chose to just get her attention. But before he could, she flew down to a park and laid on the grass under a tree while covering her face with her hooves. He landed behind her and softly asked. "Fluttershy?"
"Eep." Fluttershy looked up and over her left shoulder to look at Danny. Realizing who it was, she turned away and used her wings to shield herself from him.
Danny stood there for a second before he moved over to her side and laid next to her. He looked to where her face would be if he could see it but couldn't as she was still covering herself with her wing. "Fluttershy, what happened?"
"...nothing."
He gave her a disbelieving look. "Come on, Fluttershy, you can tell me."
"...I don't want to talk about it."
His eyes shifted from her wing to the rest of her body and could tell she was still crying as her shoulders twitched in conjunction with the sounds his super hearing picked up. Thinking about the best way to comfort her, he smiled as he thought of something. He looked at his right wing and stuck his tongue out in concentration. His wing twitched a few times before it shot open over Fluttershy. He gave it a dry look as that was not what he wanted. His gaze went to Fluttershy before it went back to his still outstretched wing. 'I've seen wings being used easily by others but you are being difficult! Do this for her, got it?' He did his best to lower his wing slowly as he kept his gaze on it.
Fluttershy jumped when she felt something cover her back. There was a soft chill to it but she also couldn't help but think that it was soft. She was about to lower her wing to see what it was but she suddenly found herself being pulled to the left. "Eep!" Her wing lowered because of the action and she looked to see that Danny was glaring at something on her back. She looked to see that it was his wing that held onto her. It was as she looked at this wing that she noticed that it was bigger than hers, enough that it almost hit the ground on her right. He wasn't that much bigger than her, only an inch or two but his wingspan clearly was.
"Sorry about that. I wasn't trying to pull you but I still don't have that much control over my wings."
She looked up to see him giving her an apologetic look. She blushed at the close proximity and she lowered her head. "It's ok."
Danny glared at his wing again before looking at Fluttershy. "Now that I can see your muzzle, can you tell me what made you sad?" Seeing her lower her head, he chose to drop it. If she didn't want to tell him, then he had to accept that.
The two sat there, under the tree, not saying anything for several minutes.
"...I um…."
Danny looked down at Fluttershy to see her peaking up at him. He stayed quiet to let her continue.
"...I was…. Leading a family of ducks through the street so they could make it to their new home."
Danny listened to the event that led to Fluttershy crying. He wasn't even sure if she would actually tell him anything but he was happy that she trusted him enough to come to him with her worries. He supposed it was his hero complex that made him want to help her, but he wasn't complaining. He was happy to help her. However, his mood took a steep drop when he heard a griffon yelling at Fluttershy for not looking where she was going despite how the street was wide enough for the griffon to take a single step to the side to give Fluttershy a path and not bump into her. And the roar she gave the shy pegasus was enough to make him want to teach the griffon a lesson. He told himself that it would be too much if he did that, given his abilities.
Choosing to push those thoughts to the side, he just chose to comfort the pegasus right now. He didn't know what to say in order to do that so he looked around for something that could help him. He smiled as he thought of something when he saw a couple of birds perched on another tree. "Hey, Fluttershy, you mind telling me what kind of animals you take care of? I saw them but I saw a bunch that I didn't know about."
Fluttershy looked up at him and smiled softly before nodding. "Well…."
They spent the next few hours talking about the animals that Fluttershy has at her home. It originally started out with her just naming the animals, but Danny soon grew interested in how she took care of them. That grew into animal habits and differences between one animal and another.
"I think it's incredible that you are able to take care of all the animals you have and still have time for yourself. But with how you have things scheduled and the animals helping you out, I guess it makes sense."
She blushed at being complimented but was able to respond. "Thank you."
Before anything else could be said, Pinkie Pie poked her head from the leaves of the tree.
"Hey, there you are! I was looking all over for you."
Danny and Fluttershy looked up to see Pinkie Pie's head.
Danny smiled at the pink mare. "Hey, Pinkie, did you need something?"
Pinkie Pie nodded before she pulled out two pieces of paper. "I'm inviting you to the welcome party for Rainbow Dash's friend. I'm gonna get her to be friends with all of us!" She dropped the invites and had them land in front of the two.
Danny looked at the invite and saw that it was taking place at Sugar Cube Corner. It made him smile as he hadn't talked to Miss Cake in a while. Looking back up, he nodded. "I'll be there."
Pinkie gave a big toothy smile before looking at Fluttershy. She frowned at the apprehensive expression that Fluttershy had but there was another reason for the party. It was to make her feel better. It may be one for Rainbow Dash's friends, but it doesn't mean it can't be used to help out others.
Fluttershy looked at the invite before her gaze moved to Danny. 'If he is there, maybe it will be ok.' Looking back up, she nodded. "I'll go."
Pinkie Pie smiled before waving a hoof. "Great! See you there!" She then pulled her head back into the tree.
Danny didn't even bother thinking that she was still there. Pinkie was just that random.
He looked at Fluttershy and saw how apprehensive she was. He brought up a hoof, lifted her head, and smiled at her. "You don't need to be so worried. You can just talk to others and avoid her. And if you want, you can find me since I will be there.
Fluttershy couldn't find her voice as she was very flustered by his action of lifting her head. "I…uh… um…..ok." She muttered the last word with her face blushing from embarrassment.
Danny nodded as he moved his hoof, with no clue of how his action could be perceived.
Fluttershy lowered her head, letting her hair cover up her blush.
~Later~
Danny was walking through the party glad that he was enjoying the good spirit. He talked to several of the town ponies and couldn't help but be bashful when they were still giving him their thanks for what he did during the Nightmare Moon event. He still wasn't good with this stuff.
"Hello, Dearie."
Danny looked to his right to see Miss Cake walking up to him. He smiled as she made it to him. "Hey, Miss Cake."
The pastry mare shook her head as she poked him on the nose. "You don't need to be so formal with me, Danny. You can call me by my name."
Danny didn't know why, but calling her by her name was embarrassing, interesting….. And cool. "Sorry, ...Cup."
Cup Cake smiled at how embarrassed he seemed to be. Choosing to ease his embarrassment, he gestured for him to join her. The two moved over to the side as she asked. "So, how have you been taking things? I can assume that it is difficult to wake up after a thousand years."
Danny chuckled. "Not so much. I was actually a traveler back then, I just used that as a reason for why I was here when I first woke up. And even back then, the only ones I truly spent time with were Luna and Celestia."
Cup grew a bit concerned by that. "Were there not others you spent time with?"
Danny shook his head. "Not really. It's not like I didn't talk to others but they were more acquaintances than friends."
"Is that not a lonely way to go about your life?"
He thought about it for a second before shrugging. "Maybe, but I have spent a lot of my time with only a few friends so just having a couple of friends was normal for me."
Cup frowned a bit before she moved closer to him. She smiled at him before she came to his side and used her body to turn him in parallel to her. Once she had turned him around, she pointed out to the other ponies. "Well, that won't do. And I am sure I speak for everypony here that you have many more friends now."
A lot of ponies that had heard her raised their cups as they cheered for him.
Danny let out a small chuckle as he blushed. "Ok, ok, everyone, this party isn't for me. Let's make the one that it is meant for feel welcomed." He smiled as he got a cheer from the others. He looked to his right at Cup and smiled. "I think I already have more friends than I had before." He gestured toward the snacks before the two made their way there. "You included."
Cup Cake smiled as they made it to the table. "And I am happy to be as such."
~Flashback 2 end~
The party continued till the griffon had an argument with Rainbow Dash and Pinkie.
He wanted to have a word with her for making Fluttershy cry but he didn't get the chance as she left the party after the friendship between the cyan pegasus and griffon ended. He saw that it hurt Rainbow Dash to lose a friend but Pinkie Pie was able to cheer her up and point out that she still had good friends.
Yet, it isn't easy to lose a friend.
~Flashback 3~
Danny was looking around for any sign of Rainbow Dash as she had left the party while it was still going. He had noticed her leaving the building but hadn't come back. He couldn't see any sign of her and was about to head back inside till…..
*hic*
He paused when he heard something and looked up to see a cloud with something rainbow dropping down its side. He heard it again before he transformed and flew up to the cloud. Once he was high enough, he poked his head up the side and saw Rainbow Dash's back. He floated up to be an inch over the cloud. "Dash?"
Rainbow Dash jolted at the sudden sound and turned around to see who it was. Once she saw who it was, she turned back and brought her hoof up to wipe her eyes. "H-hey, Danny, what's up?" She didn't turn to face him as she was still wiping her eyes.
Danny gave her a flat look before he moved closer. "Dash, I know this is a dumb question but, are you ok?"
Rainbow Dash still didn't look at him as she nodded. "Of course! Why wouldn't I be?" She gave a forced chuckle as she continued. "It's not like anything happened that would get to me. I mean, what do I care if my friend that I knew since I was a filly was being mean to my new friends and said I wasn't cool to hang out with anymore and was being mean to everyone when they were trying to make her feel welcome and ….and…..and" He voice became weaker as she spoke.
Danny moved closer to her till he was right behind her. "Dash….." She finally turned around and he saw that her eyes were wet and her lip was trembling. He opened his mouth to say something to make her feel better but….
"WAAAAAAHHHHH~!" Dash glomped into Danny's chest as she began crying.
Danny was surprised by the sudden action but he hugged her as she began to cry in his chest fur. He could figure out why she was so hurt as she must have treasured her friendship with Gilda. Wanting to comfort her, he gently ran his hoof over her mane as she continued to cry on him. He didn't know how long they stayed there but he didn't mind as he wanted to make her feel better. Losing a friend can hurt and Dash was a pony that cherished her friends. He had an understanding about it, the situations were nowhere near the same but still, losing a friend is painful, especially if it's one you have known for so long.
After a few minutes, he felt that she had calmed down and began to speak. "I'm sorry it ended up like that."
"Hnnn." came her whimper
"I know what it's like to lose a friend." He lowered his gaze as he continued. "I know it hurts and you wish you could fix it so you can keep your friend, and maybe you can. Just because you had a fight and….. The rest of us don't really get along with her, you can still fix your friendship with her the next time you see her. If she is really your friend, you can get past this and get back to hanging out." choosing to grasp at straws based on what he saw from Gilda, he forced a smirk on his face as he looked down at the top of her mane. "And maybe you can get her to not be jealous about the awesome friends you made while here in Ponyville."
Rainbow Dash chuckled at that but didn't move from her spot. It felt nice to be hugged and have him stroke her mane like this
Danny was actually stroking her mane, automatically as he thought that it would help her feel better and he just kept doing it.
After another minute, Rainbow Dash pulled back and smiled at Danny. "Thanks."
Danny returned the smile. "You're welcome. Wanna head back inside?"
"...yeah." She turned around so that she could fly back down to the party before she looked back at Danny. "Hey …..um, can you not tell anypony I was crying?" She sheepishly asked as she didn't want her reputation to be tainted.
Danny smiled at her before he floated past her. "You were crying?" He floated back down to ground level so he could walk back inside.
Rainbow Dash smiled gratefully as she watched him go back inside. She took a breath before she flew after him.
~End of Flashback 3~
Then there was an incident that had to deal with a dragon…but unfortunately, he wasn't informed about it till it was all over as he was spending the day with Celestia. The way he learned about it was when Celestia received the letter from Twilight.
And that was another thing that he was part of while he was here. He couldn't help but find the letters almost like mission reports but they were so wholehearted that he would always smile when he listened to Twilight speak them out. He would put in his own input that coordinated with her words and they would watch the letter go off. Usually, after it was sent off, he and Spike would head off to read some comics.
It had gotten to the point that Danny would have to be the one who would put Spike to bed before he slept on his beanbag. He was starting to like that thing, honestly.
But back to where he was right now.
He looked around for any sign of where he was but so far, nothing. He would have been more alert but the atmosphere was very tranquil. He continued to wander, till he came to an area that had large floating bubbles.
They seemed to float around in the bluish mist but they seemed to never touch each other. Instead, when two came in close proximity, they seemed to slide around each other with an inch of separation between the two
"Danny?"
Danny turned around before raising an eyebrow at the odd sight.
Luna was there, but she was halfway out of one of the bubbles.
Danny tilted his head as he asked. "Luna? What are you doing?"
Luna fully came out of the bubble before she shook her head and mane. "I was merely doing my nightly duties."
Danny raised an eyebrow. "'Nightly duties'?"
Luna looked at him in curiosity. "Have I not yet told thee, *ahem*, told you about it?"
Danny smirked as he heard her try to fix her speech. "I hear that you were trying to get into more common speech recently."
Luna blushed before she huffed. "Cely should not go spreading out such details."
Danny chuckled as he walked up to her. "She only told me about it. I asked about you since I haven't seen you in a while, and she told me about your speech practice."
She let out a sigh before she looked at Danny. "Cely had told me that it would help my integration with our ponies if I am able to speak in such tones. Though, tis a bit difficult as speaking in such a manner is new."
Danny nodded as he guessed it would be. Changing the way you speak isn't easy. "But to answer your question to my question-" He smiled in amusement at that statement. "-no, most of the time we met, we just enjoyed the night sky."
She nodded as she smiled at the memory of their nightly meet-ups. "I suppose. Anyway, I have the task of easing the dreams of our ponies. You see, as the alicorn of the night, I have domain over the realm of dreams."
Danny turned his head left and right as he asked. "So…. this is the 'realm of dreams'?"
"Indeed." She began to walk past the bubbles as she made a gesture to them. "Each of these orbs is a pony's dream world, a place where all they could ever wish for is possible. They could dream of the sweetest pastry or the tranquility of a meadow, yet there are times when their dreams become…chaotic and unpleasant."
It took him a second as he thought about what she said till it clicked. "You mean they have nightmares?"
Luna nodded. "As ruler of the night, I seek to ease their nightmares so that they may enjoy whatever it is they dream." She paused as she remembered something. "Actually, I had attempted to meet you through your dreams before."
Danny raised an eyebrow in confusion at that. "Really, when?"
"During our imprisonment, I had wanted to speak with you in order to ask your forgiveness and perhaps ease your time up there. Yet, when I attempted to connect with you, I found myself unable to as your mind was closed off from all outside interference."
Danny's eyes widened ever so slightly as he was surprised to hear this. Thinking about what she said she tried, he explained to her. "That's probably because I have had some encounters with those who had tried to take over my mind before, including dreams." He looked up in thought as he remembered Poindexter trying to take over his body, Freakshow's staff taking over his mind, and Nocturne messing with his dreams. Due to him looking up, he missed the look of shock hearing about his encounter with somepony else that could mess with dreams. "After those times, I learned how to keep my mind from being influenced."
Luna shook herself out of her shock and asked. "Then how is it that you are here if you have closed off your mind?"
Danny shrugged as he looked back at her. "Dunno. Maybe it's because I'm not as on edge as I used to be."
"Was your world so chaotic?"
Danny nodded. "Yeah. My home always had something going on that always kept me on my hooves. I never really had time for myself until I got here. Didn't even realize I needed a vacation till I started to relax here."
Luna was saddened that he had to deal with such chaos on his own. "Tell me, what was your life like before?"
Danny was a little startled by the question but he smiled before he went into his life. Sure he told her, Cely, and Cadence about how he came to be like he was, but now he would go into more details, more personal aspects. "Well, I can start out with how I was a decent student till I got my powers."
Luna was fascinated by his story. Yes, she had heard of his adventures but they were short descriptions, and almost dismissive in a manner. Now, she was learning not only of his battles but how his obtaining of these abilities affected his personal and scholastic life. Yet he had those around him that would aid him in his endeavors. She was truly curious about his world and would like to see it one day.
Danny was coming to one of his latest battles till, as if on cue, one of the bubbles began to darken, almost like the watery surface of the bubble was injected with a gray substance.
Danny noticed this and asked. "What's happening to that bubble?"
Luna also noticed the bubble and grew solemn. One of my ponies' dreams is becoming unpleasant. As it is gray, it is only starting, but if I do not tend to this, it could grow dark, causing more distress to them." She began to make her way to the bubble so that she could enter it and fix the problem.
Danny didn't like the sound of that and could feel his need to help take over. "Need any help?"
Luna paused in front of the bubble at the question. She was about to refute but thought about it for a second. It shouldn't be that problematic. "As you wish. Tis but a simple task."
Danny walked up to stand next to her. "Maybe, but you never know when you need help."
With that, the two walked into the bubble.
Danny and Luna were now in a large empty field surrounded by trees.
Danny noticed that everything seemed to have a gray hue to it, almost like a camera filter. He looked around as he wondered how Luna was going to fix this dream. He looked at her to see that she was looking around for a sign of something. "So, how does this work?
Luna pursed her lip as she began to walk further in. "First, I must find the denizen of this dream. Once I do that, I can begin to understand what is the cause of this dream to take a darker turn before I am able to assist them in overcoming it."
Danny poured his lips as he understood what it was and thought about how it almost sounded like it was a therapy session. Before he could ask anything else, his sharp hearing picked up someone else speaking. He focused on it and was only able to pick up some words.
"...ne….lo…..ash….."
Hearing the distress in the voice, caused him to stop in his tracks before he began to trot toward where the voice was coming from.
"Danny, what is it?"
Danny continued to walk as he answered. "I heard someone in trouble. It might be the one we are looking for."
Luna moved to join him as this would help her to complete her task. However, she did find it interesting how Danny was able to locate the pony since that is one of the more difficult parts of her job. But she trusted Danny in his judgment.
Danny continued to make his way toward the voice. He felt something was off when the forest turned into Ponyville but it wasn't that big of a surprise. It was when he was in the center of Ponyville and the whole area shifted into a grassy clearing that almost caused him to slow down and wonder what was going on. He was brought out of his confusion when he heard the voice again, this time not that far away.
"Anyone? Hello? Where are you?"
Danny looked ahead to see a small filly looking around frantically. He moved closer to the filly and realized who it was. "Scootaloo?"
The little filly jumped at the sound of somepony else and spun around to see who it was. The look of panic that she had on her face melted into a smile as she ran up to him and hugged his leg.
Danny was surprised at the action and looked at the little filly. "Woah, Scoots, what's wrong?"
Scootaloo's ears pinned harder in the back of her head. After a second, she looked up at him. Her voice was weak and pained as she answered him. "I can't find anypony. Everypony is gone and I can't find them."
Danny frowned at how distressed the young filly was and lowered himself, making sure not to move his leg so as not to disturb her. Once he was lying down with his leg held up, he brought his other hoof around her to hug the young filly. He looked around and could see that the grassy clearing was starting to lose its color. He looked at Luna, who also had a concerned look on her face. "I think we found the pony." It was a pathetic attempt at simple humor but he himself was not smiling.
Luna nodded as she moved to stand in front of Danny. She took a breath and asked. "What is the problem, young one?" She could already figure out what the problem was with the young filly, but in order to get past the issue, speaking of it could be a good starting point for fixing this.
Scootaloo turned her head toward Luna, feeling a bit of relief at the soft serene smile. She then looked up to see Danny smiling down at her. She slowly loosened her grip on his leg and lowered herself into his other arm. However, she didn't realize she was now being cradled as she thought about what was bothering her. "I… don't like being alone. I don't like it when there isn't anypony around to have fun with… I don't want anypony to go away."
After hearing this, Danny looked around and could see that the area seemed to be losing its color even more. Now it was almost a gray dreary color that was slowly bleeding into a black. He was starting to fully grasp what caused the dream to slowly become a nightmare. Quick to think of what to say to make her feel better, he looked back down to her. "But you're not alone." Seeing her look back up at him, he continued. "You have a lot of friends that I know would come to hang out with you whenever you want.
She looked up at him with a tinge of hope in her sad eyes. "But…where are they?"
Danny looked up in thought before he asked. "Well, where do you usually find them?"
Scootaloo looked down in her own thoughts before she answered. "Well… I see them at school a lot."
Danny nodded as he got up and put her on his back. "Well, then let's go see them at the school. They might be worried about you and why they can't find you." He began to walk toward the forest, not knowing if he was going in the right direction but he knew dreams to be, it was the best thing he could do.
Luna was impressed with how he had taken charge and began to ease the filly's fears. Choosing to allow him to take this task up, she walked next to him, keeping an eye out for any more signs of the dreamscape becoming darker. When Danny had begun to comfort the filly, the degradation of the dream stopped and seemed to stabilize. In fact, it regained some color as they walked. She smiled as they walked into the forest
Danny looked over his shoulder to look at the filly. "So, what's your school like? It's been a long time since I went so I don't know if it's anything like how I remember."
Scootaloo thought about what to say before she smiled. "It's always fun as everypony loves how Miss Cheerilee teaches us new stuff!" Her mood began to brighten as she thought about her time at the school. "She taught us about some of the history of Ponyville. I thought it was cool since we were told that a great hero gave it the name."
Danny couldn't help but blush at the unintentional praise. He was the one who gave the name but only as a joke. Now he is being praised for it. Clearing his throat, he asked. "Did she tell you who the hero was?"
Scootaloo shook her head. "We haven't gotten to that yet. School ended before she could tell us." she smiled as she patted his side. "Maybe you know? You are a hero, too?! Heroes know other heroes, right?"
Danny couldn't stop his blush from appearing, something that Luna noticed and chuckled at his embarrassment. She was told about him naming the town and could figure out what was embarrassing him so much. From what she could tell, he was not used to praise or perhaps admiration from children.
She looked at the family as she spoke. "I'm sure he must know the stallion that named the town. As a pony that had done some heroic things so long ago, he must know another hero who had done something that requires much thanks from all those that witnessed it."
Danny felt like his head was going to pop from his embarrassment. "Maybe, but I should ask Cheerilee next time I meet with her." He cleared his throat, trying to get rid of his blush, before asking. "Speaking of, how is Cheerilee?"
Scootaloo smiled again as he spoke with a more cheerful tone. "She is doing great. Recently, she seems to be happier than before! She even said that there was a surprise coming up soon but she wouldn't even tell us about it." She pouted as she wanted to know about it.
Danny raised an eyebrow at that. "Really? Huh, wonder what has her mood up. She didn't tell me anything when we met up last time." He tilted his head as he couldn't think of why Cheerilee was in a good mood.
Luna though, had another question. "Do you have any guess as to what the surprise might be?"
Scootaloo hummed in thought before she spun around and laid on her back, using Danny's mane as a pillow. "Hmm, maybe a new playground? Ooh! Maybe a cool lesson about cutie marks!" She felt excited learning about cutie marks so that it might tell her about how to get her own. She and her friends would listen to that lesson extensively to figure out how to get their own.
Danny could see how excited the filly was to learn about cutie marks. He saw that she didn't have one and figured that it must be something akin to becoming an adult and finally being able to drink. Or maybe it is a right of passage sort of thing for ponies but if she was excited about it, he wouldn't say anything that would ruin her mood. Looking back ahead, it was to his surprise that they were now at the school and a bunch of colts and fillies were running around with Cheerilee watching over them. "Wow, didn't know we would find it so fast."
Some of the children stopped running around and looked over at them before Applebloom called out to them. "Hey, Scootaloo! Where were ya!? We plan on playing hide-n-seek! Can't play without ya!"
Scootaloo smiled at the sight before she jumped off and joined the other children.
Danny smiled at the sight before she saw that Cheerilee was standing on the porch of the school. Choosing to talk to her, he walked over. Once close enough, he asked. "Hey, Cheerilee, how's it going?" He saw that she continued to smile at the children and figured she was just in a good mood. "That reminds me, Scootaloo told me that you've been in a better mood lately. There a reason for that?" He waited for her to respond but she continued to just stare at the children. He grew confused by the lack of response and reached out to her. "Cheerilee?" his hoof phased into her shoulder and he fell forward, passing through her and onto the ground. "What the…?!"
"Tis only a construct of the filly's dream."
Danny looked up to see Luna stifling her laughter. Shaking his head, he got up on his hooves and was about to say something when he realized that he was standing in the same spot as the Dream Cheerilee, with her construct overlapping him, which was comical to Luna. He stepped to the side and eyed Cheerilee before he remembered what Luna said. "Construct, huh? I guess that makes sense. Though the last time I was inside a dream it was through a different method than….. However it was I got here."
Luna was able to stifle her laughter and moved to stand next to Danny as they looked at the playing Scootaloo. "I would much like to know more details on how you were able to enter the realm of dreams in your world. But I believe that for now, I should thank you for aiding with the little one."
Danny looked at her with a raised eyebrow. "What do you mean? All I did was bring her back here to meet her friends."
Luna shook her head. "You made her realize the thing that she was most afraid of was not real. From her words, she was afraid of being alone. You made her remember that she wasn't. She had friends who were waiting for her. Though, there must be a deeper root for her to feel that way, but right now, we should not pry into it." She smiled as Scootaloo was hiding in a bush with Sweetie Belle as Apple Bloom finished counting and searching for them. "We should depart so as not to disturb her dream.
Danny figured he should listen to the expert of this and nodded. "Sure, just point toward the direction and we can leave."
Luna smiled as her horn lit up. "No need. Allow me to take us to the exit."
Danny saw both he and Luna lit up in the color of her magic and figured they were leaving that way. Wanting to leave on a better note, he called out to Scootaloo. "Hey, Scoots!" seeing her pop her head out of the bush, he waved his hoof. "I'll catch ya later, alright!"
Scootaloo smiled wide as she waved to them. "Got it! Later, Danny, Princess Luna!"
The rest of the kids followed her example as they waved bye to the two alicorns
The two royal ponies then vanished in a flash, leaving the dream to Scootaloo's happiness.
The Dream Cheerilee nodded before she looked at the young filly. "Scootaloo, it looks like it's time for you to head home!"
The young filly tilted her head before she looked behind her to see two figures silhouetted by the sun. "Mom! Dad!" she ran up to the two before she hugged them, a tear falling from her eye. "...you're back…."
The two alicorns walked out of the dream bubble before Danny shook himself of the feeling.
"Ok, it feels weird walking out of that." he looked at the bubble and saw that it was now a bright color instead of the murky shade it was before. "Guess we were able to fix this."
Luna did a small shack of her mane before nodded. "Yes, and it should stay that way for the rest of the night." She focused her magic into her horn and sent out a pulse so that she could detect any other nightmares starting to appear. As such, she could feel that there was no sign of it happening. "It would seem that for the moment, there are no issues that need tending to." She let out a sigh before sitting down.
Danny moved to sit in front of her. "So what do you do when you aren't working on other ponies' dreams? It doesn't look like there is much for you to do."
Luna looked up at the ever-expanding haze that was the dreamscape. "Normally, I would be able to return to the realm of the waking world and read one of the books that I have. But since my powers are still a ways off from being at full strength, I must stay here in order to detect any nightmares coming to a pony."
Danny understood what she meant. 'She must have had the ability to detect such things while in the real world but now needs to be close to the things.'
"I did just state as such."
Danny flinched back at how she answered his thoughts. "Can you read minds?!"
"This is the realm of dreams. Dreams come from the mind, and as such your thoughts are projected onto me. Do not worry, I do not plan to delve into your mind."
Danny let out a sigh of relief at how she wouldn't mind read him. Despite how he trusts her, having someone read your mind was still unsettling. That actually reminded him about something she said a while ago. "You said you tried to talk with me during our time on the moon. Is this where we would have talked if I let you into my head?"
Luna nodded. "Had I been able to connect with you, we would have talked here, where my darker side could not reach. But as you have told us, your mental fortitude was too strong."
Danny rubbed the back of his head in embarrassment. "Yeah, something I learned from my adventures."
"Why not tell me more about your previous world? I would very much like to know it."
He smiled as he didn't see a problem with it and was about to say something till he thought of something. "Hey, is it possible for me to show you rather than tell you? Like can I use my dream bubble to think back to my world?"
Luna was a little surprised about the suggestion and thought about it. Normally, that would not be possible, but then again, it had never been tried before. She herself hasn't accessed her own dream bubble in a long time since she spends most if not all her time working on others and when she herself sleeps, she just eases her mind into a state of relaxation in order to gain as much rest as she could gain. But with how they are aware of things, lucid dreaming might be possible, and being able to consciously alter it is something he could do. "It may be possible as you are aware of your surroundings. We must merely enter your dream bubble and you will be able to reconstruct it into memories."
Danny smiled at how his idea was possible. "Great!" He spun around and froze as he realized something. "Um…" He looked over his shoulder as his cheeks flushed. "Which bubble is mine?"
Luna laughed at his action before she got up and stood next to him. "Allow me." She channeled her magic into the Dreamscape and the orbs around them parted to reveal one floating not that far away.
They began to walk toward it and Danny was able to see that his bubble was much different from the others
Instead of the watery surface of the others, it was an orb of solid ice.
Danny pointed his hoof at it as he looked at her. "Is this…. Normal?"
Luna shook her head. "No, this is unique to you. Your dream world is blocked off and I was never able to enter it no matter how many times I entered here. But I did not want to break into it since it would be another slight I have done to you."
Danny looked up and down the orb, wondering how to get through. "So, what do I do to get through?"
"You need only touch it to allow yourself access. I on the other hand will not be able to get through lest you allow me access."
Danny thought about it for a second before he focused on the bubble and thought about the surface being liquid. After a minute, the ice began to ripple before it became liquid much like the other bubbles. At that moment, Danny couldn't help but feel like something was lifted off his shoulders. It was like his mind was put at ease. "Well, that was easier than I thought. Was afraid I would have to smash the ice or something."
"That would have damaged your mind rather than allow us access." She eyed the bubble and did her best to hide her excitement. Looking at Danny, she gestured. "This is your dream, so you should enter first."
Danny shrugged as he walked up to the bubble. "Let's just go at the same time. This should be interesting to look back on my world. Well, here we go."
With that, the two entered the bubble.
The two suddenly found themselves in a metal room filled with high-tech objects and beakers filled with green liquid.
Danny couldn't help but look around with some nostalgia. "Man, I didn't know I would miss this place so much." 'What with Mom and Dad always making things that ended up being used against me….. Though a lot of them helped too.'
Luna looked around in awe as she had never seen such things. However, she noticed that all the tables and chairs were far too small for either of them to ever think of using.
Danny wondered why his dream bubble took them here but he remembered that he wanted to show Luna his memories rather than tell her. 'Maybe it changed to this in order to start the show. But what memory is this?'
"You sure that we won't get in trouble messing with your parents' portal?"
Danny immediately spun around to see Sam, Tucker, and his human form walking down the stairs. The words that Tucker asked immediately made him spin to look at the portal, the one that was clearly shut off. 'Not this memory!'
Luna looked at the three odd creatures with her eyes locking onto the one that was obviously Danny. "This is you? Your human form is smaller than I had assumed."
Danny couldn't help but chuckle at that. 'Well, humans are smaller than horses so it makes sense.' Shaking away his laughter, he walked up to Luna. "Hey, is there a way to skip this memory?"
Luna was staring at Dream Danny before she looked at him and wondered why he would want to skip this. "Why?"
Danny took in a breath before looking at the portal that his memory self and friends were clearly about to check out. "Let's just say this isn't a very fond memory." He didn't want to subject Luna to this as he remembered his friends telling him that hearing his scream and worrying about him was not something he wanted Luna to do.
"Luna could see that this memory had something harsh in it that bothered him. "It is your memory, you need only focus on a memory and the scene will change into said memory."
Danny nodded as he looked over to his dream friends as Sam tossed him the suit. Choosing to change things, he focused on another memory, one that was….. More appealing to his appearance. "Let me show you a time I had to fight a Black knight. One that actually had a pegasus as a ride."

This chapter is meant to give an example of how I would skip some of the episodes and get to the parts I want.
Now those who know the MLP series might have noticed that I didn't mention Episode 6 Boast Busters despite mentioning Episode 7 Dragonshy. The reason is that I want to actually do that episode but have it done later. Since the episodes are not connected, I can rearrange them. So the next chapter I do will be Episode 8 Bridle Gossip. Something that will be funny to write
Originally I was going to end it right when they entered the bubble but I added a bit more.
