"So this is Poco Path." Nemona explained softly as they traveled together on their way, "It's the path that leads to Adventure for you and me~" she hums, her smile seeming to get just a bit brighter as a Lighthouse began to come into view in the distance.

"Hey so, let's hurry and get to that Light house, okay?" she said with a grin.

"Why? What's the rush?" Ana asked curiously, slightly amused by her new found "friend's" enthusiasm...

"Because...you can see our school from the top." she said grinning.

"Oh...fair enough." she said softly.

I suppose it would be kinda cool to see what my new prison will look like...

"Well come on then!" Nemomna grinned, "Vamos!"

They were nearly to the top of the hill where the lighthouse stood.

Racing and laughing together.

They hung their heads close together as they shared interesting finds and new functions of thei Phone'Dex when a mysterious cry tore through the air around them and seemed to shake the very ground itself.

"Whoah- What WAS that!?" asked Nemona.

They both shifted their gazes around, trying to calm the panicked pounding in their chest.

"I've never heard that kind of cry before." she said, "Do you think it could be some kind of strong Poke'mon or something?"

"Hard to say..." said Ana, "Though if it WAS a Poke'mon...it sounded like a pretty big one."

"Yeah? Well I say we find whatever made it!" said Nemona, "Let's take a look around."

"Yeah...maybe it's hurt and needs help..."4

"Just be careful." said Nemona, "There's a kind of not so safe cave near by...so...steer clear of it, okay?"

"Got it."

They only split apart for a brief moment to try and cover more ground...

Ana did discover something rather interesting though...

"This fence...it looks like it's been damaged." she said softly annalyzing the broken pillarls of the cabled fenceline.

"...Like something crashed into it or something..."

She carefully tipp toed her way a little further on the ledge...having caught a bit of commotion going on down below.

Carefully she stepped closer to the edge, just enough to peek over to see the sandy shore at the bottom of the cliffside.

"Wait- is that- A Poke'mon!?"

There seemed to be a creature laying weakly at the water line. Gentle waves caressing it.

"It looks hurt..."

Whatever it was however, didn't seem to be alone. As a couple of Houndour moved in to approach their prey. They growled and barked their intimadtion cries, however even at this weekend state the massive lizard-like creature rose its head and let out a roar bellowing enough to crumble the edge of where Ana stood-

"ANA!" Nemona's voice ecreamed out her name, but she was already too far up in the distance as Ana fell to the sands belore...

And too far away to do anything to prevent it...

YIPE! YIPE! YIPE!

Ana woke to the cries of fleeing Houndour, standing herself back up in the sand and dusting off her knees.

Looks like her Rotom phone caught her fall, so she didn't take much damage at all.

Still the creature lay broken and weak in the water's wake...

Slowly...

Ana crawled toward it.

It...looks like a Poke'mon...But...

she thought to herself.

It certainly wasn't a poke'mon she was familiar with.

And not even her Rotom Dex could find any information on it.

Whatever it was...it seemed to be too weak to move...

Ana pondered for ways that she could help it...

It looked healthy- so a Potion wouldn't do it much good.

The thing that seemed to be weakening this creature...was exhastion.

Her eyes widend, zoning out in times of past...

Exhaustion...

She thought to herself as she recalled the days she couldn't leave her bed from being so exhausted herself...

Food usually helped back then...

That was when she remembered her mother's brown paper bag handed to her ealier that day-

Mom's sandwich...

she recalled, fishing it out of her bag, hoping it wasn't too flattened by her fall. She pulled it out and held it before the creature.

Its head lifted curiously from the sand, eyes honing in and focusing on Ana before drifting down to the offered food. It gave the treat a few sniffs before gobbling it right up. Much too Ana's surprise-it seemed to perk right up and she was so relieved to see it.

"Thank goodness." she said fondly as the creature began to make its way past her, "Hey wait- where are you going!?" she called back. There seemed to be a cave entrance behind her...once that she had not even noticed before as her main focus was trying to help this fallen beast-

It gave her one look back and let out a mighty cry- leaping into the air and changing its form entirely. The winds it gathered triggered a mini sand storm, leaving Ana coughing up some swallowed grains.

Whatever was in Mom's sandwich...must have returned some of its energy...!

She thought to herself as she tried to rub the sand from her eyes, peeking up with quinted lids, it seems the creature now...was waiting for her.

"Do you...want me to follow you?" she asked it curiously, to which it responded with a glance back and a rolling motion with its head.

"Well...all right then...I suppose I have to find a way back up, after all." she said softly looking up to the broken ledge from which she fell.

"Maybe this cavern will give us a way..."

She followed the creature into the darkness...

Though the path was well lit in thanks to the electric light that seemed to be eminating from it...catching the sheen from its armor.

It looks to be...maybe some kind of Electric type Poke'mon...

Ana pondered.

Or perhaps maybe...a steel type?

She still couldn't figure out its name or origins...

"Oyeee! Ana!" Nemon's voice seemed to echo through and ring out from somewhere above, causing Ana to look up.

"THERE you are, Ana!" she called down through an opening up a few steep climbs of rocks and moss, "Are you okay!? You're not hurt, right?"

"I'm...managing, more or less." Ana called back.

"Thank goodness!" said Nemona, "I was really worried!" she sighed, "If you had gotten hurt because I said we should go looking for what mad ethat sound..." she quickly shook her head,"No- Nevermind that now!" she said, "For the moment we've gotta focus on getting you back up here." she looked around her. The climbe seemed much too steep for Ana to even try and risk it, "If you can get close enough- I'll try pulling you up with one of my Poke'mon's moves!"

Then that was the plan...

Ana gave her confirmation with a nod before shifting her attention back to the creature who seemed to be waiting for her once again.

"Right then..." she said to herself, "Here I come."

The path seemed dead ahead...until the creature's brute strength alone managed to be enough to make the wall crumble, forging a continued past ahead.

"Awesome..." Ana was awe stricken...but the further they wandered in...the more she could feel and intense and heated gaze fixated on her...she had no idea where it was coming from, but she thought it best to stick close to her Body Guard until the could find a way out...

Deeper and deeper they tredged further in...being greeted by more and more groups of Houndour that which this beast kept back with its imighty roar.

"Ana! L-look out! There's something coming!" Nemona warned.

"What?" Ana questioned, brushing her bangs aside to try and see over the beast shoulder at what was to come.

"Behind you-" Nemona gestured, "IT'S BEHIND YOU!"

Ana gasped and jumped back when she turned to find a Houndoom glaring her down. This one was much stronger than the usual routy types Houndour tend to be...

It must be the leader.

"Nya!" Sprigatito jumped from its Poke'ball and stood in front of Ana. Back arched up and fur spoked out as it hissed, ready to fend of this creature from its owner in a protective stance.

"Reefurr! What are you doing?" Ana cried, "You can't take on that Poke'mon! It's too strong for you!"

Ana was still entirely new as a trainer- on top of these, she knew these Poke'mon to be Fire Types- with the growing number sourrounding her, her new Sprigatito would have no match alone in its current state.

The Houndoom growled and snarled as it lunged at her-

Sprigatito leaping in its way to take the blunt of the hit.

"REEFURR!" Ana cried, eyes widened as she held her arms out wide to defend herself, only to find herself saved by the creature that was originally leading the way.

This didn't go over well with Houndoom- as it let out a howl and immediately became surrounded by its pack- They gathered around it, Ana's defender, as well as Ana herself while she struggled to scoop up her injured partner. Sparks buzzed from its nails- it seemed ready to unlease an extreme blow when it took notice of Ana in danger, choosing instead to rescue her over itself, scooping her up in its mighty arms as it desperately looked for safety.

"Up here! Hurry!" Nemona called out to it, signaling by waving her arms until she caught its attention, and in a stead fast decision, took to the leaping up the slippery wall of gravel and moss, reaching the plateou upon which Nemona stood, sheering and clapping in delight-
