~A Familiar Scene~

It was a bit of a hike between the Lighthouse and the school...so the two friends made a quick stop off at Los Platos right on the way. Ana had Reefer checked up on at the Poke'mon center as well as baught a few extra materials to better be prepared for a similar situation-
Should history ever repeat itself, heaven forbid...
It was a small town with not much to it...
But from there- the city to their school was just one long hike uphill.

"That's so neat that you caught a Shroodle, Ana! They're really hard to see-" said Nemona as they took a breather at the Poke'mon center just before the city gates, "Have you decided what to name it?" she questioned, "Since you gave Sprigatito the name, Reefurr, I assume you to be the kind of trainer that nicknames their Poke'mon." she smiled, "Not that there's anything wrong with that though!"
'Yeah...it really took me by surprise when I spotted it." Ana chuckled as she pat her new Poke'mon on its little head, "I think I've decided to go with the name- Venomouse."
"Venomouse? Oh that's cute!" Nemona laughed, "Like slapping the words Venom and Mouse into one word!"
"Thanks...that was the general idea..." Ana smiled, "I mean, According to the Rotom Dex, Shroodle is a poison type...and a Shroo is a kind of mouse right?"
"Yeah, I think so..." Nemona hummed, "Anyway, here we are..." she said she entered into the city with Ana, "Welcome to Mesogoza!" said Nemona, "This is the biggest city in Paldea~" she beamed, "It's been a big trade hub since a long time ago...lots of people come here to learn about advances in technology and- a whole bunch of other things~" she said with a grin, "Now there are a few things I need to take care of for you so I am gonna go on ahead to the school." said Nemona, "Meanwhile, have some fun looking around and getting to know the city you're gonna be staying in for a while~" she hummed, "Once you've had your fill we can meet uo in front of the school." she said warmly, "Just be ready...the stairs to the school are no joke!"

Nemona certainly wasn't lying.
It seems the stairs journeyed all the way up within the city-
She was surprised the girl had so much energy to climbe them-
But then, Suppose Nemona has been going to this school for a while...so she probably just got used to it. As Ana reached what seemed to be the middle-
A scene seemed to be breaking out, and blocking her path...
"If you join Team Star, You'll shine brighter than anyone!" someone seemed to be spouting a bunch of odd nonsense to a soft spoken girl with multicolored hair that immediately grabbed Ana's attention.
Red and Blue...those aren't colors you see often together...
She blinked.
But they sure do make her stand out don't they?
"Seriously what's with you? Don't you want awesome friends like us~?"
And there spouted on the other one...
"...Not really." the girl said softly and cast her gaze to the side.
"Oh come on- just sign up!"
"Um...I'd really rather not..."
They seemed to be harassing her about signing up to join...sometghing or other.
A Club maybe?
Either way, the girl seemed hardly interested in what they had to say...
Ana's eyes narrowed as she watched this scene...
Bubbling up feelings far too familiar to her...
Peer Pressure...Harassment...
These things led her down some dark paths in her past...
It was cause for a lot of trouble that helped in leading her here today...
"...I believe she said she wasn't interested." Ana said firmly in a dark tone as she slowly stepped in between them.
"What's this then? You want in on this too!?" the guy huffed, "If you're here to sign up we'll get to you next- we've nearly got this one in the bag!"
"See...you say that..." Ana said with a shrug, "But I recall hearing her say something quite different..." she paused, "I believe it was along the lines of...NO."
"Excuse me with this attitude of yours!?" the other girl huffed. They seemed to be decked out in some weird modified versions of the school uniforms...with the added star decals and helmets, "We're Team Star, kid! Surely you knew that!?"
Ana shrugged.
"Doesn't ring a bell to me." she said with a shift of her shoulders.
"UGH! Another ignorant little nobody!" she huffed, "Here I'm finally a part of Team Star- and still I get no respect!?"
"Hey- we can't just let something like this, slide!" said the other.
"You're right." said the girl, "Keep an eye over there on four eyes..." she said shifting her glare over to Ana, "I'll make sure this fresh faced nobody, ends up seeing stars."

"Waoh, I can't believe she won that...and so fast too..." the soft spoken girl who was priorly the victim before stood watch behind Ana...but she seemed to be doing more than simply just watching. She was ayeing. annalyzing...studying...
"Maybe with this person's talent..." she whispered to herself softly.
...She might be of some use to me...
"URk- W-Why's a nobody like you so good at battling, anyway-" the grunt girl huffed, "That's just not right..."
"No way this kid beat you!?" said the fellow grunt, "Does that mean I have to battle this kid now too...!?"
"Pero Bueno!" a familiar voice rose above the rest in a huff, "What do you think you're doing!?" from the side lines of the stairwell to the school, a disgruntled Nemona stepped into the scene...
"Ugh...It's that student council dweeb..."
"She's gonna report us if we don't book it...!"
"I can't believe you. Ana!" said Nemona, "You don't have to go and find randos to battle-" she stated her leer turning into a cheesy grin, "You'll have all the battles you will ever need with me!" she beamed.
"Actually, Nemona...that's not what was happening here..." Ana said softly as went and explained her side of the story- already expecting the worst-
It was home all over again...
But much to her surprise...there was no judgement in Nemona at all.
For the first time...someone...actually listened to her-
"Wait so- THEY picked a fight with YOU?" she exclaimed, "Wow I read that totally wrong...I'm sorry!"
Ana's chest constricted.
Sorry?
Not only did Nemona listen...but she also apologized...this was a first for her.
"I get it now...you two have got Team Star written all over you for sure." said Nemona, "I bet you were harassing people to join your crew again, weren't you!?"
"W-Well..."
"We weren't...NOT doing that..."
"Well that explains it." Nemona said with a sigh, "As head of the student council...stopping this type of nonsense would normally be MY job..." she paused, "But this is the perfect opportunity for you to try this gift out first hand!" she beamed, handing over what looked to be some form of an orb into Ana's hand.
"What is it?" she asked.
"That is a Tera Orb." Nemona explained, "And with it, you will be able to terastallize your Poke'mon in battle. A Phenomena only familiar to the Paldea Region." she grinned,"Normally, you've gotta take special classes to be able to get one of these...but I put in a good word for you, and now? It's time to give it a whirl!" she grinned with a thumbs up, "You'll learn faster first hand than by my boring explainations!" she giggled.
"So you're saying we;re target practice for this kid's Tera Poke'mon!?"
"Well...you could always battle me instead~"
"Ahh...on second thought...I'll take my chances with the new kid!"
Well then...first hand experience always did set in best...
Ana held her orb out over her Poke'mon until it started to glow once the battle began. Instinctively, she thought to trow it, and in a beautiful array of purple sparkles and shimmering light, Venomous the Shroodle Terastallized into a poison type, dawning a large purple sckull and cross bones jewel upon its head.
The battle didn't last long after that- as this phenomena seemed to let moves of its type hit THAT much harder...
"Hasta La Vistar!" was all the two grunts had to say before Ana ran them off when the battle was over...her Shroodle had returned to normal now and the orb had stopped glowing.
"So yeah...Team Star is basically a group of students that like to kick up trouble." Nemona explained, "They hardly ever show up to class, and when they gather in groups, they can be a real head ache...even the teachers don't know what to do with them..." she sighed.
"Um...'scuse me!" a soft voice came from behind and pulled Ana's attention.
"Oh right...you were the one they were harassing earlier..." she said, "Sorry for stepping in like that I just...it stirred up some past issues I don't really want to think about right now..." she said softly, "Are you okay?"
"Past issues huh?" the girl said with a genle nod, "I take it you've dealt with somethijng similar to this before then..." she said softly, "Yes...I'm all right." she said softly with an awkward gaze to the side, "I uh...just...well...thanks." and with that, the girl was gone.
"Aww, look at you! Already playing Hero around Campus!" said Nemona, "I don't think I've seen that girl around...maybe she's new too."
"You think so?" Ana questioned curiously, "I only wish I had caught her name before she ran off like that..."
"Ahh but did you get a look at that Eevee bag though!? So much fluff!" squealed Nemona,"Anyway with the trouble dying down now, we better book it up to school, "she stated, "Get ready to climb the worst staircase in the world!"

The school was a sight to behold all in of itself. Both outside...and inside as well.
"Here we are, Ana! Welcome to UVA Academy!" said Nemona as they made their way into the entrance hall.
" . And . Glad to see you;ve made it." Director Clavell greeted them at the main desk, "And? How was your commute?"
"It was...an adventure in of itself." Ana chuckled.
"My- it sounds like you;ve had quite the experience already." he stated, "I imagine 's high spirits helped as well." he chuckled, "A true asset to our fine Academy."
"Oh, by the way." Nemona said softly, "We saw some of those Team Star kids in town."
"You did!? Where!?"
"Down stairs from the front gates..."
"They seemed to be hasseling this kid with an Eevee back pack..." said Ana.
"A child with an Eevee backpack you say..." the director pondered for a moment, "I suppose that might have been then." he stated, "I am relieved to hear she's come back from class, at least,"he said softly, "Do be sure to report to your Homeroom teacher about these events...it's important he stay informed on happenings with his students."
"Yes sir." said Nemona.
"Now then...off to class the both of you...it will be starting soon."
"We're in class 1-A." Nemona said to Ana with a wave of her arm, "Come on then...I'll show you the way!"
