Back from the nearly fiv month hiatus for this story and back into the fire. I'm back and ready to write for you guys that have been waiting and I hope this chapter was honestly worth the wait. Without any further ado, enjoy!

The Bandit kids meet the dragon!

Previously…

"Hey Ddraig I forgot to ask, but why does it feel like every part of my body got a boost?" I asked before realizing my pun. "Heh, boost."

[ Please don't start making puns partner.] Ddraig sighed [ As for why it seems your body has got an upgrade, it is because your body is fully dragon. Aside from your human appearance, you no longer have any devil's blood or power inside of you. And Dragons have the best senses in the world, only really comparable to gods.]

"I see…" It was a bit to take in. But when you lived ( or used to) in a world where the supernatural is normal, I guess that's ok. But rivaling gods in terms of just using pure senses? Added to the fact that the boosted gear doubles my power every second, that's a real big change.

[ Also partner, I wanted to tell you that the boosted gear will be offline for maybe a week or two.] Ddraig told me, causing a slight panic before he continued. [ Never fear, your power as it stands is comparable to a high ultimate class. You should be fine, plus Ophis is with you.]

On one side there seemed a boy with purple hair, a cape, and in my opinion; looked like a fucking shota.

On the other side was a dragon woman… wait what? Ok, so the other fighter herself wasn't a dragon in human form, but rather looked like a mix between both. Golden eyes hardened like someone who was always on alert. Green scales covered parts of her hand and waist, she had a purple cape falling down the back of her armor. And she had a giant broadsword (A/n. I took a guess on that one.) pointed at the boy, who seemed to be out of breath.

"Granberia would like to explain?" A voice called from the sides. Walking towards us was a woman wearing clothing that revealed… a lot. She had tattoos over her body, long silver hair that reached to her legs, and golden eyes that stared directly at the dragon woman, or I guess her name is Granberia.

"Well Luka, my name is Issei." I said. The townspeople finally come out of their homes seeing that Granberia is gone. The woman that had commanded Granberia to leave stared at me, just watching… weird. "That your friend?" Looking towards the woman, who decided now was the perfect time to join us.

"Alice." The woman crossed her hands. She looked at me as if she was analyzing my every movement. " I'll give you props, not many can keep Granberia a stare down without pissing themselves. You're stronger than you seem." Wow she has an eye huh? I wonder if she has some type of magic or maybe something akin to seeing someone's strength.

"Issei… my… mate…" were the words I heard. Staring a little bit more at the dragon of infinity, I felt myself getting ready to completely fall asleep.

'We'll talk more in the morning, Ddraig. We still have a whole new world ahead of us and I'd rather have my partner fully awake and not half asleep.' I say chuckling at the snort I get back as a response.

"And as for you Ophis… I'll guess I'll give it one more go at this." I say covering us with the blanket. 'Who knows, maybe the Harem king dream is possible, but for now baby steps.' I thought before slowly falling asleep, hearing some strange noises from down the hall, but eh not my problem.

Now…

(Issei dreamscape)

'Hmm? Where am I?' I thought my eyes were opening and I looked around to notice that I'm in a place with a LOT of clouds and bright lights. A few seconds later I heard a noise, it sounded like a choir. Kind of annoying in my opinion.

The lights grew brighter and soon there was a woman with pale skin, sea blue eyes and blonde flowing hair. Her clothing looked like a simple but gracious tunic and she had a red little pendant around her neck.

In all honesty she was hot and sexy, but Issei knew better than to go by looks alone. He could sense the aura of deceit and cunningness surrounding her, and also the power she held. Though that doesn't mean he didn't give her a once over.

What? He may be toning down his pervertedness, but he was still a teenage boy. In Fact he is now a teenage dragon boy who has draconic instincts screaming at him to mount and claim her.

'I fucking hate you so much right now Ddraig…'

"Hello? Anyone home?" The woman in front of me was snapping her fingers to get my attention.

"Oh yes?" I say blinking a couple of times.

"Finally. Now, who are you? Or more accurately, "What are you?" She said with a tone that made her sound like she was superior.

"My aren't you rude. Better question is who are you?" I say raising an eyebrow. If she thinks she'll boss me around, she's got another thing coming.

The woman stares at me before sighing, like she couldn't believe that I don't know her. The woman looks back at me with a warm but fake smile.

"Forgive me, I guess coming onto you like that wasn't the best way to interact with you. I am Ilias the creator of this world. Now may I ask again your name?" Well at least she was nice about it.

"The name's Issei. And I'm a human." I say and I get an eyebrow raise in return.

" That's one truth, but also one lie." Ilias said " Or maybe it's one truth and you simply don't know the other." She's quick to jump to conclusions isn't she?

"Well I don't know what you think I am, but I'm human and glad to be one." I say smiling and throwing a thumb at myself.

Ilias looked at me blankly, before she grinned then that grin became a smile until she was full blown laughing.

"Fufu~. I find you amusing." She said grinning, before drifting close to me. " You have great strength. Help Luka in his quest and you shall be rewarded handsomely."

Ilias was right in front of me now, and saying nothing else she gave me a kiss on the cheek and then vanished. And soon the area lost its glow and then the area faded out and I woke up.

( Back in the room of the Sutherland inn)

Huh? I looked around noticing that I was back in the room where me and Ophis slept in. Speaking of Ophis…

"Mmmm… mate so comfy…" Ophis had somehow managed to completely wrap herself around me. God, why does one of the most powerful beings have to be so adorable?

"Ophis. Ophis, wake up…" I tried shaking the sleeping dragoness, and only succeeded to get myself trapped closer to her. Oh come on.

'Ok think Issei, think! What will get Ophis to– I got it!' I saw a brilliant idea coming to me.

"Ophis if you wake up, we can go see if the market has anything sweet or delicious as candy."

This worked way too well. In .0001 seconds Ophis sprung up and was staring at me with her light brown eyes.

"When?" She asked. I smiled, before sitting up.

"Soon, but for now shall we go take a bath? We didn't exactly get one last one?" I say, raising an eyebrow at her. She had the decency to look a tab bit ashamed, but not much.

18 minutes later

After a while and convinced Ophis to bathe and not use magic to clean herself since that would make her lazy… which she then took as taking a bath with me. I may have cursed at Ddraigg for my draconic instincts at that moment.

Anyways, once we managed to get to the lobby we found Luka being ganged up on by the hotel manager and Alice.

"For the last time, we didn't have 'fun' in the room!" Luka said desperately trying to end the conversation.

"No need to be afraid young man. It's natural after all for a young boy like you. What are you 15? 16?" The hotel manager said.

"I'm 19 damnit! And we had no fun last night either!" Luka yelled

Alice snickered. "Sure we didn't. But we had plenty of fun after finding your little secret~" Luka looked ready to die of embarrassment so I decided to be merciful and intervene.

"Why don't we stop ganging up on Luka eh?" I say walking towards the three.

Alice glared at me seemingly mad that I stopped her fun. Luka sighed relieved.

"Thank you." He said gratefully.

The hotel manager laughed, "What a very exciting group here!"

We left the hotel and stood in front for a while. It gave me a minute to think on what I should do now with Ophis. After all, we don't have any true purpose here besides traveling. Traveling…

"So, where will you two be heading?" Luka asked.

"Honestly, I have no idea. We might travel to see what this world has to offer. You?" I told him, but before he could answer Alice did for him.

"So you didn't even have a plan? Wow, idiot." Alice said smugly, but I guess Luka and Ophis had something to say about that.

"Don't call my mate an idiot, when you yourself look like a spoiled brat." Ophis said, which was a very strange occurrence since she usually gave a more facial response like glaring to express herself.

"And you said it yourself when we met Alice, you only joined me since you were bored and had a 500 year old book that had literal cobwebs on it." Luka said, before he and Ophis looked at each other and nodded and high-fived one another.

"Wah, I…" Alice looked completely shocked like no one had ever talked to her like that.

Luka turned back and looked at me. "How about you join me? My journey is like one big quest for coexistence between monster and human, and naturally I'm probably going to be around the world."

I pondered on the idea, it wasn't a bad idea. Most likely he was going to be in a couple of fights, who knows he might meet strong fighters. He looked at Ophis, who only looked back with an emotionless stare before shrugging.

"Deal. We're in your care Luka." Alice finally came out of her funk.

"No no no, they are not joining us!" Alice screamed.

"Who's journey is this again?" Luka said, raising an eyebrow. Alice whirled looking like she was about to blow a gasket.

"So where are we headed to Luka?"

"Well we're going to Irina mountains, apparently there are a couple of bandits in that area. Apparently there is a vampire, dragon, and lamia." He said.

"Well you have a death sentence." Alice deadpanned. " A dragon is bad enough, but a vampire and a lamia? Please, you would die in the first 30 seconds." Alice sighed, before releasing that we had walked off. "HEY!"

We turned around and just gave her an eyebrow raise. "If you're going to be a Debbie downer this entire trip, I might actually put a sock in your mouth." I said.

Alice narrowed her eyes at me before looking away. Luka gave me look that said ' I hate this already'

Time skip since I'm lazy.

We arrived at the entrance of Irina mountains after countless minutes of walking along a dirt path. The path had horse tracks and human feet only heading back to Iliasburg.

'Guess they all got scared, but of what? If they knew a dragon, vampire, and lamia were all here, why come at all?' I pondered. It was weird, but not as weird as the holy energy I see coming both from Luka and from above him. 'Is he an angel? No, he has a human smell to him. So maybe half ling? But what about that energy above him?'

I shook my head no point letting the thoughts cloud my judgment right now. I heard gently snoring in my ear and realized that yet again that Ophis had fallen asleep on my shoulder again ( I got tricked by her ).

[ Ahh… you two are so adorable] Draigg laughed in my head.

'Laugh it up Draigg, you must LOVE watching this.' I drawed out sarcastically. Re-adjusting Ophis' position that way she was comfortable, and getting a soft little yawn from the infinity dragon.

[ I'm just saying. Bet you love it when someone so 'gifted' is hugging and sleeping on you.]

'Shut it ya red lizard!'

[ Hahaha! You only proved it!] Draigg laughed uproariously. [Even using the same nickname Ophis gave me. You might just start thinking like her too!]

My brow was twitching dangerously and I let loose a bit of KI ( Killer intent). Alice seemed to notice and turned back towards me, but just shrugged her shoulders when I quickly redrew it back and made a confused face.

'You only wish you could be in my position.' Making a jab at the fact he was sealed inside of me.

[HAH! This is nothing compared to my golden days! Besides I'd rather be in Ophis's postion all nice and snug…" Draigg boasted, but then mumbled something at the end.

'What was that?' I felt Draigg freeze up, before going quite. Weird…

Draigg's silence aside, we eventually arrived at the Irina mountains. It was nothing truly special, but I smelled something. No someone was hiding…

"Luka, someone is here." I said getting his attention and him resting his hand on the hilt of his weapon.

Alice had disappeared, was she scared? Scared or not, whoever was hiding decided to reveal themselves. And it was…

A kid… with an oversized hammer. What the hell is this trip going to be?

"Haha! Gobi the earth bandit demands that you drop all of your belongings and surrender!" The goblin girl(?) yelled. If she was looking for a strong reaction well she got one… although not in a way she nor I was expecting.

"KAWAII!"

Luka glomped the poor girl and completely snatched the girl up and looked at her with stars in his eyes.

"What the…" I said dumbfounded before turning to the equally dumbfounded Alice. " was he like this before?"

"Nope this is new." Alice said before chuckling. When I raised an eyebrow Alice responded saying " it his special secret that might be the cause of this."

"What makes it so special?" I asked, but that caused Alice to laugh harder.

"It his secret to tell, not me." She said before turning back to Luka still holding the girl in bear hug.

"Get him off me please!" Gobi yelled. Feeling bad for the goblin girl I pryed Luka of her. The goblin girl picked up her forgotten hammer and sprinted into a nearby cave.

"Ohhh…" Luka look liked a kicked puppy and I felt like I had made him extremely sad.

"Luka what was that?" I asked having to know what just happened.

Before he could answer, Alice did first.

" Do you have some type of hard on for kids or something? Cause she wasn't really worth that reaction." Alice had her arms on her hips while her tail swayed.

The hell!? That was a little overboard. Luka reminds me of the nun bitch when I first met her. Sweet and naive.

And I guess Luka didn't like that response since well…

"Alice…"

"Huh?" Alice only got that out before a fist met her stomach and with a force of probably hundred trains, Alice was sent flying backwards far.

I snapped my head back towards Luka when his aura was fluctuating between human and the angelic power in him.

Alice got back up sporting a nice bruise in her stomach. She looked so pissed only for her to be cowed by the expression of pure malice etching onto his face.

" Don't ever try to ever compare me to them. Are we both understood?" Luka was way weaker than Alice, but in this conversation he was the dominant one.

Alice understood that and simply nodded her head.

Luka nodded his head before he switched back to his normal face and personality. " Come on Issei, let's go. We have some bandits to round up." Luka said walking away.

Ophir yawned and woke up and slid off my back and on the ground. She looked around, raising an eyebrow before staring at me with a blank expression and a tilt of her head.

I smiled and patted her head. I looked at Alice who was looking at the retreating form of Luka.

" I would apologize after this, he looks like he just needed to blow off some steam."

I caught up to Luka with Ophis next to me and Alice tailing behind. He seemed to be looking for something. He walked to the left and pulled some type of lever and then like clockwork, there were sounds of things shutting and clapping together.

'Traps, clever.' I applaud Luka for his thinking.

He bowed while saying "Thank you, thank you. I do my best." He turned back to the cave. "Now shall we go and find the other bandits? Though I have a feeling on what to expect from here out."

"I don't think you'll need us. Go on, we will be out here waiting." I said shuing him him into the cave. Luka shrugged and began a trek into the cave.

Alice had slithered out to the cave entrance and sniffed the air before rolling her eyes. "This shouldn't take him more than 10 to 20 minutes max." She turned to me. "Now I have a question for the both of you."

Ophis narrowed her eyes at the lamia, before taking a piece of chocolate from… somewhere and began to bite into it. Alice stared at the piece of chocolate and a tiny line of drool came out of her mouth.

"Uhh Alice? The question?" I say snapping her free from whatever trance she was in.

" *cough* Anyway my question is, are you two dragons?" Alice narrowed her eyes and we narrowed ours right back. It was still for a bit before Alice backed down. "Well that confirms it. But you two are different… not the typical monster or monster girl." The sounds of snakes were heard and little black snakes were popping out of the ground. Ophis had quit eaten her chocolate and had been full on glaring at Alice.

"Calm Ophis, she means no harm. Right Alice?" I said putting a hand on Ophis who looked at me before at Alice, then continued eating her chocolate. Her snakes receded back to nothingness.

"Right. My point is that you two are dragons and that you're different from any monster girl out there. Sorry and monster boy~" She teased me.

" Aw is the big bad red dragon emperor getting flustered over little old me~? Fufu, then I guess I should tease you more~!" said a girl with long black hair and priestess outfit.

"Hello? Hello? Anyone home?" Alice's voice cut through the cloud of a memory that had surfaced.

Blinking away that cloud I snapped back to reality and realized that I was just staring in Alice's direction for a while.

"Sorry, a uh memory from the past resurfaced." I said scratching my cheek with a nervous smile. Ophis looped her hand into mine and squeezed, letting me know she got the message of what type of memory just surfaced.

Alice wanted to say more from the looks of it, but then Luka came out with four little monster girls and based on the rumors in the town these were all of them with the exception of the goblin girl. All of them seemed to be down and looked as if they just got the biggest parental talk.

Wanna know how I know? Simple, the dragon girl has the face of a kid who got a talking level below that of a kid who had to hear the ' Birds and the Bees'. And the rest were maybe a level lower than that. Simple see?

"So are these our bandits?" I asked scanning over them before noticing the dragon girl sniffing the air for a bit before looking at me and widening her eyes, I gave her a quick finger to my lip to be quiet. She smiled before giggling.

"Yep! And they all promised to play nice and apologize to the people of Iliasburg right?" Luka looked down at them with a smile. They all began mumbling something under their breaths. "Right~?" Luka's smile began wider and his voice became deadly sweet.

"YES!" They all nodded their heads so fast it put Kiba's top speed to shame. What the hell had happened in that cave?

Alice stared at Ophis, and she stared back. Ophis then grabbed another chocolate bar and handed it to Alice, and Alice gave Ophis a bag filled with gold coins. Did I just witness chocolate being traded for more than what it;s actually worth? Or did I miss something in the span of 30 seconds?

Why does it feel like my life is going to get wackier than ever?

Issei and Ophis's original dimension. On a train headed for Kuoh Station.

" *Yawns* Ahh… What a good nap." A woman said, stretching her arms and legs. She was a very voluptuous woman with long blonde hair that matched her eyes. The thing that was different about her though was that she had two fox-like ears on her head and nine flowing golden tails behind her.

"Kunou dear, wake up. We will be arriving at Kuoh very soon." The woman said shaking a nearby young girl that looked like a mirror version of her mother but was a lot younger, maybe like 14.

The young yokai rubbed the sleepless out her eyes and faced her mother. " Are we truly getting close to Kuoh?" She asked.

"Yes, if we're lucky we might even be able to surprise everyone since we're getting here early." The woman also known as Yasaka responded. The group of three had finished the problems within Kyoto at least enough so they could take at least a two week long vacation. Wait three?

Ahh, there was one more lady joining them. Laying across from them was a woman balled up like a cat would which was ironic considering she was indeed a nekoshou or a cat spirit. She opened her hazel golden eyes, showing her tiredness mixed in with happiness. Her two cat ears and tails floated in lazily, while her kimono slid down her shoulders giving an eyeful of her ( in her own words) large purrfect pillows.

"I see you've woken up Kuroka. I honestly expected to have to wake you up." Yasaka said, patting her daughter's ears and smoothing her hair out.

"Nya~ I would but I want to be wide awake for my lovely red dragon emperor~" She said purring that last part out dreamily. She never noticed the glare from Kunou, or the slight twitch in Yasaka's ear.

"Fufu, oh my aren't you excited. BUT I believe that me and Kunou will be on his mind the most." Yasaka said slyly, getting a nod in return from her daughter. Kuroka snapped out of whatever day dream she had, and narrowed her eyes at the Yokai leader.

"Well have to see about that won't we, Nya?" She challenged. They looked at each other with challenging smirks, unknowing what they were headed for when they arrived.

And done! This again shouldn't have taken this long, but here we are. Anyways not gonna say much since I wish to hurry and continue writing, with me being out of FUCKING SCHOOL for two weeks. Also again this is an Issei betrayed story! If you don't like it, stop reading!
