"Chad, I've got to talk to you!"

On the plane to San Diego, Julian approaches to Chad

"Whatever you're saying, I'm not interested. You're lucky that Mia's ankle is feeling better and she can still perform tomorrow. I'm surprised she let you come on this trip after what you did. I'm even more surprised that you bothered to show up." Chad glared at Julian

"I get that you're angry..." Julian frowned

"Angry?! That doesn't even begin to cover it! You nearly jeopardized our entire routine!" Chad yelled

"I know! I know! And... actually, that's exactly what I want to talk to you about.l

Julian looks around, sees that Mia is a few rows down talking to Sierra, then sits down next to Chad "Chad, I'm sorry. I know I messed up. What Mia said to me yesterday really made that clear. I don't want everyone to think that all I care about is this trip because that's not true. Sure, I was in it at first to meet some football players, but after seeing Mia get hurt and... well, I let her and the entire team down. And now I want to make it up to you."

"Yeah? What are you going to do? It's going to take a little more than a poster to get us to trust you again." Chad glared

"I want to learn the routine. For real. I'll actually study up, do it right, and surprise Mia." said Julian

"You'll take it seriously this time?" Chad asked

"Yeah."

"You do know that Mia probably won't let you back into the performance, even if you do it perfectly."

"I'm not counting on it. I just want to prove to her that I do care. For that to happen, though, I need you and the other guy cheerleaders to help me... would you be willing to do that? It might cut into your vacation time."

"You know, I can talk them into it, but there's one minor hitch in your plan. I don't know how you're going to surprise Mia. How are we going to practice? She's probably not going to want us helping you out."

"That's where you come in."

"Me? What do you want me to do?"

"Keep Mia from finding out that we're practicing behind her back."

"How do I do that?"

"Distract her with something. I don't know, shopping? You're smart. I'm sure you'll figure it out."

At long last, the cheerleaders arrive at the hotel in San Diego.

"We're here! We're really here! What are we doing now? Where are we going first?" Sierra squealed

"Why don't we go shopping?" Chad suggested

"Eeeeee I love shopping." Sierra squealed in delight

"I'll pass I'm not into shopping I'm a bit tired." Julian yawned

The guy cheerleader nodded in agreement . "We're going to rest up too we need energy for tonight."

"Suit yourself. Ladies let's shop." Mia called

the girl cheerleader left Julian flashes a thumbs up at the guy cheerleader. "Operation on the go. Men it's time for practice."

"But the activities." Sam groaned

"There are more important things than activities. Let's get started."

Julian and a couple of the guy cheerleaders practicing some moves!

At the mall the girls chatted excitedly

"Oh. My. Gosh. They have the new line from Ouch Ouch Pretty Feet! Those boots are to die for! I am INSTANTLY sad that those are not on my feet. I HAVE to have them!" Sierra squealed

"You girls go ahead I might have maxed out my card paying for last shopping trip and paying for the activities." Mia sighed

The girls went from store to store carried several shopping bags

"Phew we brought a lot." Amelia smiled

"Wow you brought the whole mall?!" Mia gasped

"We love shopping." Sierra giggled

"So what's next?" Mia asked

"There are so many things to choose from... the mall is like a theme park for teenagers." Sierra squealed in delight

"We could get manicures at the nail salon. I'm due for some pampering. Oh! Or go to the pet store and see all the cute puppies! There's also a new smoothie stand at the food court. A Banana-Berry Blast sounds perfect right about now."

"We don't want to be here too long we have other activities. How about we get our nail done."

"Eeeee were due for pampering, I'll get the Barbie pink." said Sierra

"I'll get the sunset ombré." said Amelia

The girls went back to the hotel putting the shopping bags down.

"Best shopping trip EVER. Let head to the zoo next." Mia smiled

At the San Diego Zoo...

"What do you want to see first?" Sierra asked

"As long as I'm here, we're only seeing pretty animals, like arctic foxes and pandas! We don't want to stay here too long." Mia smiled

"SQUEEEE! PANDAS! OMG! The pandas are even cuter in real life! I feel like I want to take the pandas home." Sierra squealed

"Don't think about it we got enough animals at school. Look at that one! I think he's waving at me!" Mia

"Hi, Mr. Panda! I can't believe Julian is missing this!"

"They must be tired from the trip."

"Let's see the arctic fox next."

Payton: Let's ride the Skyfari to get there! It's like a cool gondola that flies you over the park!

Later, everyone meets up at the zoo exit...

"That was awesome! We saw so many cute animals."

"And baby animals." Sierra smiled

"Let's head to the beach the guys can't miss this out." Mia cheered

The girls are wearing a sundress and bikini underneath

Payton: "Everyone is looking super cute! Let's go strut our outfit on the boardwalk."

Julian: "As fun as that sounds. I was thinking we might check out the beach first!"

Mia: "Sure. That sounds fine. The beach it is!"

Julian: "Actually... I was thinking I might go with the cheerleading guys... so we can... tan?"

Mia: "I WISH I could tan, but I burn really easily."

"No problem! We'll just split up! Meet you later!"

Julian and a couple of the male cheerleaders take off.

The cheerleaders spend the next few hours checking out shops, watching the beachgoers, and eating snacks!

"I can't believe how sunny and warm it is down here!" Sierra smiled

"And this ice cream is SO good!" Mia licked her icecream

"Not as good as my snow cone!" Sierra takes a bite out of her snow cone

"I can't believe Julian is missing out on this!"

"Heh, yeah... you know Julian... and how much he like to... uh... tan!"

"Okay... what's next? Beach volleyball? Building sandcastles?"

"Sound a good idea."

The girls had fun on the beach playing beach volleyball and building a huge sandcastle

"Do you know where the guys went off to? I feel like I've barely seen them this entire trip." said Mia

Danny: Uh... er, well... I think I heard them talking earlier about going to see something you wouldn't be interested in like a weight-lifting competition.

Mia wrinkles her nose.

Mia: Figures. I don't know what it is with guys always trying to outdo one another in weird feats of strength.

Danny: Yeah. It's so not your thing, right?

Mia: Ha ha, definitely not.

Payton: I'm with you on this one, Mia. It's still nice and sunny out! Let's take a walk!

The cheerleaders head down the beach.

Julian and the guy cheerleaders underneath the pier, practicing. The cheerleading guys are testing Julian on the routine. "Okay, I totally have this. Step, double step, cartwheel, hold."

Danny: "Um, it's step, double step, hold, then cartwheel." Chad pointed

Julian: "ARG! I'm never going to get this."

Danny: "Hey, you did almost get it. I think you know it well enough now to show it to Mia anyway."

Julian: "No. No way. I don't have it."

Danny: "Well, you don't have that much more time. We have the meet-and-greet party with the football players tonight, and then we should all get some sleep before the performance tomorrow."

Julian: "Actually, I have the rest of the evening."

Danny: "What? But Julian, what about the meet-and-greet?"

Julian: "Some things are more important than a party. Even if it is a party with famous football players that you've dreamed of meeting since you were five."

Danny: "You're a good friend, Julian."

Julian: "Yeah, yeah, just tell me how you memorize all these steps."

That evening the cheerleaders get ready for the party.

Danny: You guys almost ready to go?

Payton: Just give me five minutes...

Danny: You said that five minutes ago!

Payton: Well, I was wrong! Besides, we've got plenty of time. it's in the ballroom of this hotel, isn't it?

Danny: Yeah, but I'm just really excited to get there!

Mia: Me too! How's my hair?

Danny: Perky! How do I look?

Mia: Totally dashing!

Payton: I'm sure everyone's going to notice you tonight! Hee hee!

Danny: This is going to be so much fun!

Payton: Actually, I'm a little nervous. I don't know what I'm going to eat, or what I'm going to say, or who I'm going to talk to first! Actually, I don't even know who anyone is!

Mia: I'm sure Julian will be able to answer that. He should be helpful for SOMETHING on this trip...

Danny: Yeah... we'll see if we even find him. Heh, heh.

Payton: Let's grab everyone else and hit this party up!

The cheerleaders enter a large ballroom decked out with grand curtains, bright streamers, and gargantuan balloons!

Uma: "This is great! The lights, the musics, the set-up..."

Danny: "Yeah, it's as grandiose as one of Payton's parties!"

Mia: "Yeah! And it's nice to have you around, Chad and Sebastian! It's like all the guys have been somewhere else entirely!"

Channing: "Well, we're here now and ready to party!"

Sebastian: "Yeah, I'm going to hit the dance floor! Are you guys loving this DJ or what?"

Uma: "I'm with you! This is totally my song!"

The cheerleaders iggle their way onto the dance floor.

"I can't decide what I want to do first! Do I dance, do I snack, do I mingle? Can I do them all at the SAME TIME?!" Sierra squealed

"Oh yeah! This is totally his thing! Where'd he go? I thought he'd have cozied up to that quarterback or whoever he was going on about." Mia asked

"Hmmm, I'll go find him and let you know." Chad ran off

Chad duck into the crowd, leaving Mia behind in the glitzy ballroom.

After some searching, Chad find Julian in the empty hotel gym, practicing the routine by himself!

"Why aren't you at the party?" Chad asked

"I had some trouble with the last part of the routine, but I think I've got it down pat... want to see it in action?" Julian asked

"That sounds perfect!" Chad smiled

Julian runs through the performance. At the end, he steps, double steps, holds, then cartwheels! He gets into position at exactly the right time! "Then I throw Mia into the air and catch her like this!"

"Perfect!" Chad smiled

"How'd I do?" Julian asked

Before Chad can answer, he hear the sound of applause from the door where Mia is standing! "From here, I'd say, pretty good."

"Mia!" Julian exclaimed

Mia keeps clapping as she enters the room. The other cheerleader crowd around behind her. "Of course, your cheering could use some more pep but it doesn't look half-bad."

"Mia! What are you doing here?" Chad asked

Mia stared at Chad "Come on, you didn't really think you were pulling the cashmere over my eyes, did you? I figured that you were up to something when you snuck away from the party... and then I pieced everything together from the last day or so. Julian and the guy cheerleaders doing things I'd never be interested in? I'm pretty impressed that you learned the entire routine in just a few short practices."

"They were some pretty intense practices. He really worked hard." Chad pointed

"Really? I... I'm touched that you would take the time away from this fabulous vacation to show me that you actually do care..." Mia gasped

"I have to say that this whole cheerleading thing you do is NOT easy..." Julian frowned

"And I have something to tell you. Julian, you really learned the routine, and I know what you sacrificed to learn it. So it's my pleasure to say that. You're back on the team!" Mia smiled

"Yeah!"

"Congrats, man!" Chad hi fives with Julian

"Thanks, Mia!"

"You did it all yourself. I'll see you on the field tomorrow but for now. There's a certain famous football quarterback that you just HAVE to talk to."

Julian meet a famous football quarterback. "Oh my god!!! That's Tom Brady he play New England Patriots!!!!" Julian blushes shakes hands with Tom Brady. "It's an honor I'm a huge fan, can I get your autograph?"

He smiled shakes hands with Julian signed autograph

The next day, at halftime...

Mia: "This is it, guys! They're calling us out! Get your game faces on!"

The cheerleaders run out onto the field! Around you, thousands of rabid football fans scream and yell enthusiastically.

The cheerleader do a couple of cartwheels, and everyone yells louder!

The entire team on the jumbo screen as the camera pans over your squad and the loudspeakers blare the name of your school. The music starts, and despite the nerves, you all settle into your well-rehearsed routine.

"Go, team, go!" Cheerleader shouted

At the end, Amelia and Mia fly up into the air for your kick-twists, hit their high point, and fall...

Amelia and Mia land safely on the guy cheerleaders' shoulders! The two are lowered to the ground as the fans go crazy, thumping their feet and cheering ecstatically!

"Nice catch, Julian." Mia smiled

"Pffft, it was nothing." Julian shrugged

She laughs they turn and run off the field, confetti raining down on everyone!

After watching an exciting game of football from plush, comfy seats and snacking on game day favorites, you and all the cheerleaders head back to their hotel.

"That was so awesome! Watching HDTV has got nothing on sitting in the box seats!" Julian smiled

"Speaking of which, we don't have to go back home until tomorrow..." Sierra pointed

"Uh-huh. What are you getting at?" Mia asked in confusion

"Are you thinking what I'm thinking? We have an entire night in these hotel rooms with nothing else to do tomorrow morning! I call SLUMBER PARTY!" Sierra squeals in delight

At the sleepover party Sierra gathers the snacks and soda

"Ready to watch a movie, everyone?" Mia asked

"Sure thing! Uh, I mean, Bring it On!" Julian pointed

"Spoken like a true cheerleader!" Mia smiled

"Who wants a manicure?" Sierra asked

"You don't have to ask me twice! How about you, Julian?" Mia asked

"I'm glad I'm part of the team again... but there are still some things I just won't do." Julian frowned

"Come on... just ONE nail." Mia begged

"We promise, we'll never tell anyone and we'll be your best friends!" Payton begged

"Fine. One nail... but you'd better paint it a manly color! Like... camouflage! Not a word about this to anyone." Julian glared

Payton: Yay! Best cheerleader sleepover ever!

The cheerleading squad arrive safely home. At school the next day...

"So, Julian, now that the trip's over... should I expect you at cheer practice this afternoon?" Mia asked

"Me?!!!!" Julian exclaimed

"You put on a great performance, with some training we'll turn you into a great cheerleader. I been discussing with the cheerleaders we want you on our team permanently." said Mia

"Uh... I mean, it was fun and all, but uh... well..." Julian stuttered. "I'll have to pass cheerleading not my thing I'm more of a football guy."

"Even though you made a pretty good teammate at the end, I know you're really a football player at heart."

"It was fun while it lasted, you know."
