"Stop!"
Hawks almost stumbled when Kagome bolted awake in his arms, grabbing his right shoulder so hard that he had to grit his teeth to keep himself from letting out a pained noise, "Ah, Kagome-chan," A relieved look overcame his face anyway, "You're okay! We were about to take you to Recovery Girl!"
"I–what?" Kagome blinked, looking wary at the situation she was in as she did not remember how she even got into it to begin with, "What happened?"
"You said the name 'Mukotsu' and then collapsed," All Might stepped up, his eyes concerned, "After you said 'It was not the first time'. What does that mean?" His tone grew more serious.
"Mukotsu?" Kagome looked at All Might with some bemusement, "I don't believe that name was on any mission I was ever assigned. Are you sure I said that?" Her voice lowered some.
"You did," All Might sighed, "And now you just screamed yourself awake. Do you remember that?" Never mind his previous assessment of her trauma being minimal, he knew he was not a professional in any means.
This girl was a total mess.
"I..." Kagome looked at her shaky hand, biting her lip, "I-I was trying to reach Onii-san's Mokomoko-sama," She answered distantly, "He doesn't need it, but I want to help him."
Hawks rubbed his hair, honestly having no idea what Kagome was saying other than she wanted to help her older brother, "Kagome-chan, you okay? You don't need to go to the infirmary or anything?"
"No," Kagome looked at Hawks strangely, "I can stand. I don't know why I would fall unconscious by a name I don't remember." A familiar headache was beginning to form.
"Right," The No. 2 Hero reluctantly put the girl down, making sure she was stable, "Well, we've hung around here long enough. We need to do a little patrolling." He said with a smile that looked off to Kagome.
"Aizawa will escort you off then," All Might nodded, "And I'm sure Young Togata will want to thank you again." He shook his head as Hawks rolled his eyes, muttering something not nice under his breath, but followed anyways.
"What the hell were you doing?" Aizawa looked annoyed, "Staring at the wall?" His tired eyes closed in irritation as Kagome and All Might finally came back and Hawks following at a slower pace.
"Yes," Kagome answered with a straight face, "Toshinori-san did stare at nothing for some time." She kept that face as Aizawa's brow seemed to twitch in anger.
"Err – I was merely making sure Miko was all right!" All Might looked away from Aizawa's side glare as he felt sweat begin to build up, "Nothing more!"
"Again, I am grateful for your generosity, Miko!" Togata stood up and bowed, trying to lighten the mood as he gently rubbed the beads wrapped around his wrist, "I won't forget this."
"All Might, take Togata back to class," Aizawa said before Hawks could retort, "I'll escort these two off." He stuffed his hands in his pockets.
The two blondes waved their goodbyes and it was the trio left.
"Have you regained control over your Ittan-Momen?" Kagome asked before Hawks could make any smart comments and she tilted her head curiously, "I actually sense the remnants of another one. Is there another scarf like yours in this school, Aizawa-sensei?"
Aizawa's brow rose as he began to lead them out, "Why should I provide such information to you, Miko?" He shrugged lazily, certainly not going to mention anything about Shinsou.
"Because I warned you, Ittan-Momen are Youkai," Kagome huffed, "You are taking them too lightly because you have not had a problem with yours. Or have you?" She closed her eyes, "They strangle humans, it's in their instincts to do so. This other person may not be as lucky as you."
They reached the front entrance and Aizawa was frowning and Hawks was strangely quiet, but as soon as they stepped outside, that quiet was rudely interrupted by stomping feet.
"Give me back my Quirk!"
