Making their way out of the testing site, Katara, Shoji and Tsu saw the large building in front of them in relief. Pushing open the door, Katara saw it was a large waiting room that was already occupied by fifteen other teens who had already passed as well. And to her disappointment, none of them are from their class. "Looks like we are the only ones so far to pass." She sighed out.
"Yeah. That group that jumped us gave us the right amount of targets for us." Shoji commented as he stretched his shoulder.
"Ribbit. Hopefully they can get through it pretty fast too." Tsu chimed in.
"They are all strong. Don't worry, they'll be here soon." Katara took a breath and looked around once more, noticing the large snack table set aside for any of the contestants to enjoy. Shrugging her shoulders, she walked over and grabbed one of the waters and opened it up, taking a big drink and-
"IT IS A PLEASURE TO SEE ALL MIGHT"S STUDENTS HERE!"
Katara nearly spit her water out from the sudden shout from behind, turning around in surprise to see Yoarashi standing there beaming down at her with a massive smile. "Uh, thanks. i -
"I HAVE ALWAYS WANTED TO MEET HIM, AND YOU GET TO TRAIN UNDER SUCH A GREAT MAN LIKE HIM! THAT IS SO COOL AND AWESOME!" Yoarashi yelled out once again, his smile never fading as Katara stood there in confusion.
Tsu and Shoji stared at the energetic teen as well, the frog girl tilting her head at his antics. "He really is loud." she bluntly stated.
"You can say that again," Shoji responded, quietly grabbing one of the sandwiches off the table, only for Yoarashi to lock his gaze onto him next.
"Oh, these sandwiches are exquisite! I've had four of them myself already!" he announced before looking back at Katara. "I am happy to see there are others here who are ready to go! I can't wait to compete in the next section of the test amongst you!"
"Uh, thanks." Katara was a bit thrown off by his loud demeanor, but could tell he was being genuine. "Same for me. You got through pretty fast on your own. Congratulations."
"HAHAHA! Of course! If I don't push myself, I won't be able to show what I got!" Yoarashi exclaimed. "I have been wondering about you! You're the famous one from UA everyone talks about! Your quirk was awesome during the festival!"
Sighing in relief he wasn't mentioning her… other ventures, Katara took a drink of water before glancing over, her eyes widening as Shoji and Tsu had left her alone with him. 'Oh no… why did you leave me here?!' she mumbled internally before turning back to the loud one. "Y-yeah. It was a hard fought festival. I'm glad you enjoyed it."
"Of course! It was awesome you were able to put on a good fight with the son of Endeavor."
Katara's small smile fell at the sudden change in Yoarashi's tone, specifically when he mentioned the flame hero's name. "Yeah… I… it was a good fight." she got out, noticing even his gaze had grown somewhat hardened.
"It was a great fight. You pushed him so hard he had to use all his power! Excellent match!" He yelled out again, still trying to keep his face straight. "After your fight with Endeavor, it was obvious his son was out to get you, but you held your ground and made him work for it."
Feeling her brow furrow at the comment he made about Shoto, Katara took note of what he said about her and Endeavor, obviously he didn't buy the "sparring match" story the news had put out, so trying to lie about it didn't even seem smart. "He wasn't out to get me because of his dad. And I… just had a misunderstanding with Endeavor back then."
Grunting internally, Yoarashi huffed out through his nose to the confirmation he heard. "Of course. Endeavor isn't kind enough to do things like that for fans, and his son is no different from him."
"Excuse me?" Katara glared and crossed her arms at his statement. "Don't even compare Shoto to his father. They are nothing alike and he wants nothing to do with him."
Yoarashi's eyes widened slightly hearing her call him that, noticing the defensive stance she was taking. "You know this Todoroki well, don't you? I didn't think he would even talk to anyone other than himself, thinking he is better than everyone else."
"You have a problem with Shoto? You seemed all friendly until you brought him up, and now you-
"I know who he is, because I could see his anger," Yoarashi's smile had disappeared at this point, squeezing his fist as he stared down at Katara. "He had the same look of hate his father had."
Katara's own fist tightened at this point, dropping her arms and stepping closer. "Don't even try to compare him to Endeavor. Shoto is nothing like him and never will be, so why don't you just back off. I don't know what your deal is, but just mind your own business ."
Yoarashi's mouth fell open in surprise to her defending him, making his mind spin in question if he was wrong. When he thought back, however, he was reminded of the cold feeling he received back then when he had met Shoto, the heartless stare coming from the fire and ice user. It was the same feeling he remembered all those years ago, the cold stare of Endeavor piercing his perception of what a true hero should be like. He then looked down and noticed the burn on her arm, his glare returning and looking back to her eyes. "Looks like he already got a hit on you."
Katara's eyes widened for a moment, her hand reacting and gripping her old injury on instinct to his comment. Before she could say anything, Yoarashi turned and walked away from her. "I'd be careful if I were you. If you put hope in a Todoroki, you are going to end up disappointed." he growled out.
As she was left alone, Katara's hand squeezed the old burn, her anger growing hearing him say those things about Shoto. She knew he was cold when she first came to UA, but he was broken and alone. After she had been able to open him up, she saw who he really was, and knew he was nothing like the teen she had met before, and most certainly unlike his father. She looked back to the door she came through earlier, hoping to see him at any second so she could talk to him.
Grunting out, Shoto walked through the frosty mist created from the ice he unleashed. Across the ground frozen in front of him were a group of six rival students, all in matching ninja attire aside from the different colors each wore. The leader in red struggled in vain to free his arms as Shoto approached, glaring up at the lone student in anger. "Damn it… How the hell did you get through our attacks?" he grunted out as Shoto tagged one of his targets.
"Once I figured out your patterns, it was easy to separate you all. And you thought overwhelming me with numbers would have worked." Shoto quietly responded as he finished tagging him out.
Hissing in frustration as he was eliminated, the lead ninja student slammed his forehead into the ice in frustration as Shoto walked to another of his friends. They had assumed cornering Shoto alone would have worked to their advantage, knowing he relied mostly on his ice from what they saw at the festival and had heard about. And they also saw his attacks were usually straight forward, using power to overwhelm his opponents. What they didn't expect was his fine and targeted control of his duel powers, his speed of his attacks even greater than they had anticipated. Either they completely underestimated him, or he was so much stronger than what they saw at the festival.
Tagging the other students out, Shoto noticed his own targets lighting up blue just before the speaker announced another winner. Taking a breath seeing he was done, he made his way through the testing site towards the designated waiting room, hoping to see who else had passed as well. He couldn't help but smile, not worried about a certain waterbender being knocked out of the competition. If anyone was too stubborn and would get through this, it was certainly her.
"Take this!"
Izuku whipped his leg out to keep his foe back, the girl in a tight black bodysuit flipping backwards out of his range. Gritting his teeth, he watched as she gracefully landed back down, the blonde giving him… quite the stare as she glanced back up at him. As she did, he couldn't help but notice the front of her outfit zipped down, revealing a decent amount of her cleavage making his face burn red. Shaking the thought from his head, he readied himself as she smirked towards him. "You're… you're from Shiketsu High as well." he said as she licked her lips and adjusted her school hat.
"You're pretty perceptive to react like that. I almost had the other one there." the girl Camie said as she tossed the ball in her hand up and down. "You are as quick as you look."
Izuku grunted in frustration as he looked to his side, one of his targets already struck from her. What shocked him was that he didn't even notice her presence when she snuck up on him. 'Who is this girl? Is that her quirk to just sneak up like that?' He said internally as she stepped closer. Bracing his fists, he swallowed the lump in his throat and glared her way. "I'm sorry, but I won't be letting you finish me here. I need to get through this test today."
"Oh I don't want to do that. I would really like to talk to you, actually," Camie chuckled and broke into a sprint. "I want to get to know you, Izuku!"
Izuku was caught off by her calling him that before her speed surprised him, jumping back as she took a swipe towards him. He kicked off the large rock behind launching forward towards her, his fist crushing the ground as she rolled out of the way in time. As he turned around to face her, he was shocked once again as she had seemingly vanished once more. "What?! How did she-
He gasped out as a weight slammed into his back throwing him forward, unable to move before his right wrist twisted up his back to a painful degree. He winced out as he glanced over his shoulder, his heart rate rising as he saw Camie's face inches from his own. "Hmm… you are very interesting, Izuku Midoriya." she whispered in his ear, leaning in closer and pressing more of her weight down on him. "I just held my breath and cleared my mind, and I can almost make myself disappear."
Izuku's face flushed red as he felt her large chest pressing into his back, thanking the heaven's Momo wasn't here to see this moment. He winced out again as she tightened the grip on his wrist, hissing out as he looked back at her. "You're trying to talk? This doesn't feel like it here!" he yelled out as he tried shifting his arm, surprised at the strength of her grip.
"Oh yes, I've seen the way you compete. You always hurt yourself when you use your power, and yet you can't help but keep going every time. It's really fascinating that you keep going through everything. And you're so brave going all the way to Kamino with your friends. I just couldn't wait to meet you after seeing you all over the news." Camie chuckled as she nearly pressed her cheek up to his, smirking to herself as his face began sweating profusely. "I bet some girl is sooo lucky to be with you. Perhaps I can meet her and we can talk a little more about you."
'Where is this going now?!' Izuku shouted internally as he felt her pressing into his back. Charging up his quirk, he thrust himself off the ground throwing her off. As he got back to his feet, Izuku glared up at Camie, the girl simply winking his direction. Before they engaged once more, the ground erupted beneath both of them, splitting apart as what looked like a massive fake dragon head burst out trying to crush Izuku in its jaws.
Whoa! What the-?" He yelped out jumping over the snapping mouth, looking over to see a dozen more students ready to attack. "More of this again?!"
"Great… getting in my way." Camie growled out and jumped out of range and disappearing from sight.
Happy to see his strange pursuer gone now, Izuku turned his focus to the armada of students targeting him. He launched himself up in the air dodging a wave of balls flying right at him, swinging his leg and launching most of them back away. He landed back down for a moment before jumping off his spot quickly, ducking underneath the cable shot out from one of the other students arms. "If I don't know their powers then I can't counter them…" he muttered out before he swung his leg again and kicked away an incoming visible sound wave, the strange energy making his head rattle slightly. "There's too many to try and fight at once!"
"Midoriya, Look out!"
The sudden shout made Izuku's eyes widen, spinning around to see Uraraka on the ledge above himself. "Uraraka?! What are you doing here?!"
"We all got separated and I was looking for anyone else! But don't worry about me! Get out of there and-
Izuku gasped as the ledge she was standing on was suddenly struck by one of the other students attacks, breaking the foundation and causing it to collapse. "Uraraka!" He called out as she screamed and fell down, careening straight towards the ground below. Charging his full cowling, he burst through the air and caught her before she could hit, landing quickly and sprinting out of sight from the pursuing students. Once he was in the clear, he quickly hid inside a small rock outcropping to catch his breath. "That was a close one. Are you alrighhh…" his sentence faltered as he noticed Uraraka was blushing in his arms, and since his one hand was dangerously close to her bottom. "S-sorry about that! It was just in the motion and… yeah." He muttered as he set her down. "You okay?"
"Yeah… I'm fine. Thanks." She sheepishly smiled and rubbed her head. "I was caught off guard when I was trying to help you."
"Where did you come from? Where's everyone else?"
"Well after that attack and we all got separated, I've been trying to see who else was around," Uraraka gave a shrug in defeat. "After I got away from a few other guys, I crawled up there when I heard something going on, and that's when I saw you."
Frowning, Izuku glanced out from their hiding spot to see if they were followed. "I was hoping to run into Momo to make sure she was alright. I thought you would be with her since you agreed to use your quirks together last night."
"Well we didn't expect an earthquake to break our class up, now did we?" Uraraka pouted and frowned, earning a small sigh from Izuku.
"Well, it's good to know you are okay. But I have to ask."
In the blink of an eye, Uraraka gasped out as she was pinned to the wall beside her, his hands pinning her left shoulder and right hand against the stone. "Hey! What are you…?!" She shouted in shock, staring into his stern eyes.
"I need to ask who you are… because you are not Uraraka."
The look of surprise on Uraraka's face was of disbelief, not knowing what he meant. "What are you talking about?! I am me!"
"First, Uraraka would never just expose herself in the open like that, and when you fell, you didn't even attempt to use your zero gravity on yourself and save yourself from the drop. Second, I was with Momo last night, and she never mentioned anything about a strategy like that. But most of all…" izuku glared as he took a breath. "You have only called me Deku ever since school started. You would never just shout out my name like that."
The Uraraka look alike couldn't help but smirk, her body suddenly beginning to seemingly melt off. "So, you are pretty clever. And you must be really close with this… Momo, I see." The outer part of "Uraraka's face dripped off, revealing the smile of Camie underneath. "You knew I wasn't your friend and you still helped me. You must be such a good guy to do that."
Izuku glared as his suspicions were right, seeing she had somehow impersonated his friend to a tee. His focus snapped momentarily however when more of Camie's body was revealed… including how her clothes were now suddenly gone. His face burned when he glanced down and saw her most private areas only covered in the minimal white slime possible. "Wh-where are your clothes?! You can't just be-
His small distraction he had loosened his grip, allowing her to break his hold on her and jumping outwards. Izuku yelped in shock as her leg flipped up and hooked over his arm and yanked down, pulling his body with it as she attempted to pin him now. Before she could set it, he yelled out and threw his weight up knocking her off balance and flipping off his body. Leaping out of the outcropping and into the open, turning to see her right on his tail. "What is it with you?!" He yelled in confusion to this girl's seeming obsession with him.
"I want to know everything about you, Midoriya!" Camie giggled as she leaped towards him, but stopped her charge as the streams of white tape shot out blocking her path. Glaring, she turned to see Sero standing there. "More interruptions."
"Midoriya, we got you man!" Sero called out as the real Uraraka jumped down towards them both.
"Release!" She called out as she touched her hands, her body regaining gravity as she attempted to land on top of Camie, the blonde too fast and jumping out of the way and frowning at the newcomers.
"It was just starting to get interesting…" Camie whined out as she hugged her arm, "I had so many questions for you, Midoriya, but your friends got in the way of us."
"Are you alright?! Who the heck is this girl, Deku?!" Uraraka yelled out in both concern and confusion, her cheeks lighting up to the limited clothing she was wearing.
Camie lifted her eyebrow curiously as she stared at the girl she copied, eyeing her and suddenly making a connection. "Uraraka… you have your heart set on someone, but he has been taken by another. It seems we both always want things that are taken away from us. It hurts, doesn't it?"
Uraraka's chest tightened in pain to the statement, confused as to how she came up with that conclusion before Camie leapt from her spot and disappeared into the testing grounds. Taking a breath, she shook her head and turned back to the other two standing together. "She's gone now. Who was that?" She asked.
"She was trying to get me for sometime now," Izuku rubbed his head in relief before he paused and cautiously looked at the other two. "Uhh you are both you, right?"
"Uhh, what are you babbling about?" Sero asked confused.
"Of course it's us. Why?" Uraraka added as he sighed in relief.
"Well that girl suddenly appeared as Uraraka and she tried to-
"WHAT?!" Uraraka screamed out as her face burnt red, remembering what that girl was, or was lacking of wearing. "SH-SHE LOOKED LIKE ME AND WASN'T WEARING ANYTHING?!"
"What the hell Midoriya?!" Sero was almost foaming at the mouth as he grabbed Izuku by the shoulders. "You already got Yaoyorozu and now this?! What happened, are you some weird stud who gets all these girls?!"
"What are you talking about?!" Izuku shouted out in utter confusion. "I didn't ask for anything like this! And she wasn't naked when she looked like Uraraka!"
"Oh but you still got a naked girl trying to crawl all over you! How is this life fair?!"
"Why do you think I asked for this to happen?!" Izuku screamed out in confusion, still not understanding how his life had turned into this.
Taking several deep breaths, uraraka turned away as the two boys continued bickering over this moment, herself still stunned by what she just heard. 'It's okay, it's okay. Deku didn't see you naked! Nothing bad happened! You wouldn't want those horrible images in his head since he has a girlfriend now. Yeah, only she gets to let deku see…' Uraraka's face burned in embarrassment… but also in jealousy of the thought of Izuku possibly seeing Momo undressed, her old feelings still lingering despite the truth she knew. 'Damn these feelings! Aghhhhh!'
"Hey, there they are!"
The trio stopped there conflict to the callous, turning to see another group of students attempting to surround them. Izuku shook Sero off his shoulders as he spun around to face the newcomers. "Even more showed up now. Maybe we should stop running and face them now." He stated.
Sero cracked his knuckles and nodded. "Maybe you're right. There's plenty for us to pass here now."
"Yeah… plenty." Uraraka quietly and as she walked past both of them, her hands touching several of the giant boulders around herself making them float above her head. "I'll take care of them."
"Huh?" Izuku tilted his head in surprise. "We should do this together, we need to…. Ugh.." his words faded when she turned to look at him, her face in an awkward smile and her eye twitching. "Uraraka?"
"I'm fine… toooootally fine." Uaraka forced giggled, her strange tone making both boys shiver slightly. She continued chuckling as she looked forward again, her mind now imagining a naked Momo and Izuku staring at her. "Just… need to blow off some steam. So please…" She touched another massive chunk of stone, the nine meter tall rock lifted up in her hand and staring at the now frightened students ahead. "Just stay out of the way for a moment."
Running through the city portion of the testing grounds, Momo kept her eyes peeled as she led Ojiro, Kendo and Jiro down the road. "We should get out of the open before we get surrounded once more. We won't be able to just keep running forever." She stated as she came around a corner.
"Yeah, but who knows how many of these other classes are watching us right now. They probably already have a trap laid for us." Kendo retorted, glancing up to the building they were nearing. "If all these other schools watched the festival, then they pretty much know all our weaknesses."
"That does make sense, but they wouldn't be able to set up a perfect trap for all of us especially if we all got separated." Ojiro said.
"We still can't take the risk," momo answered frowning as she glanced around once more to Hopefully see any of their classmates to find no one in this vicinity. "It would have been better to try and find anyone else, but we would just be putting ourselves at risk searching blindly."
"I haven't been able to focus on them, there's too much going on in the entire arena." Jiro added as her earphone quirk was plugged into the wall. "I can't make out who's who here in this city, but we aren't alone."
Knowing they couldn't hide forever, Momo nodded and looked back to the other two. "Your both close range fighters, so watch out for any long range attacks and stick close."
As they looked around once more before they took off again, Kendo couldn't help but feel a strange feeling in her stomach. It had nothing to do with the test itself, but just her situation in general. She never even tried to take the lead originally, but she was so used to her old classmates coming to her for advice of what to do in situations. Now, she was the one following others, the script flipped on her so fast. And while class A was very friendly, she still felt out of place at times, like she was still just a guest and not one of them. Sighing internally, she tried shaking those thoughts from her head as they entered the street once more, running towards the tan workshop across the street before Jiro froze in place.
"Hold up!" She yelled out and dropped down suddenly, sticking her earphones into the ground again as her eyes went wide. "We gotta get out of here! It's-
Jiro screamed out as something shot through the air and struck her earphone jack, falling on her back and clutching her wounded ears.
"Jiro!" Momo yelled out and dropped to her side, seeing the blood dripping down her friend's cheek. "Are you alright?!"
Gritting her teeth, Jiro opened her eyes in panic. "From above!"
"What?" Momo turned around just in time to see another blue shot coming straight for her, her head forming a helmet instantly and getting struck to the side.
"The hell?!" Kendo and Ojiro looked up to see more of those shots coming from one of the rooftops, both jumping out of the way as the ground was pierced over and over. Kendo continued moving back as the shots now seemed to follow her now, having to run to cover behind a dumpster in an alleyway.
"Kendo!" Ojiro called out seeing her cornered, but before he could go her way, more of those shots started rushing towards him and the others. "We gotta go, come on!" He quickly helped the other two up and rushed them into the open workshop, ducking in just as the shots struck the metal doorway. "Shoot, she's still outside!"
Removing her helmet and shaking her head, Momo looked back in worry as another shot struck the doorway, her eyes widening as the door closed behind them and now seeing they were set up. "This isn't good!"
Kendo glanced over the dumpster to try and see what was happening, but had to duck back as another shot pierced the steel frame of the dumpster. She did notice she was alone now, the other three gone and hiding in the nearby workshop. Before she could attempt to rush in to join them, her eyes noticed movement behind herself, flipping around just as a girl in a white school uniform levitated one of the trash cans nearby and launched it at her. Glaring, she expanded her hand and punched the incoming object away, but yelped as another of the shots from above clipped her shoulder.
"Damn it!" She yelled and ducked underneath another flying trash can, seeing she couldn't just sit here now. She looked to her right and saw the lone doorway open to another room, having to take the risk and jumped through the opening, and slammed the door shut. Panting in relief, she then gasped when the door locked from the outside, realizing she was trapped here.
From outside on the nearby roof, a brown haired girl in a white matching outfit to the girl below lowered her slingshot gauntlet and touched the earpiece she had. "Phase one complete. Ready whenever you are."
Down below, a group of seven girls all in the same white outfits came into view, led by a pale gray haired teen smiling under her white hat. "Perfect. It worked out just like I predicted." she said as her classmate's hand shifted, welding the door to the workshop closed locking in the trio, while another clasped the attachable slide bolts to the other door with Kendo. "Take out their survey member to lower their visual field, then separate the newcomer from them. By logic, they will have to abandon their new class member to try and survive, but that won't be happening either way.
The girl, Saiko Intelli, sipped on her cup of tea and closed her eyes, her IQ increasing as she continued her plan. Chuckling, she opened her eyes and adjusted the gold monocle she wore on her left eye. "Activate the furnace for them, let the room turn into a sauna and tire them all out, especially Yaoyorozu. If her body drains too much energy from sweating, she won't be of any use to her classmates."
"And what of the new girl?" A pink haired girl asked, her quirk allowing her to see Kendo looking through the room she was in for another way out.
"Double the weld on her door. Her fists are strong, but she can only do so much damage with raw fists without damaging herself." Intelli giggled to herself and flicked her hair. "And even if she does break out, her quirk is straight forward, only good at punching and breaking things. She is nothing special against numbers. "
Inside the workshop, Momo finished pandaging Jiro's ear, the purple haired girl wincing as she rubbed her sore head. "God, it feels like my head is ringing."
"They targeted your earphone specifically, they knew that was your way of monitoring for us." Momo glared as she looked to the sparks coming through the door opening as it was welded shut. "They separated us purposely from Kendo so they could trap us here."
"Yeah, those shots were going right at her. But why her specifically?" Ojiro asked. "Whoever was shooting was really accurate, why not separate all of us?"
Momo huffed out as she wiped the sweat forming on her forehead. "They must have known she is strong, so getting her alone gives them an advantage. Or…" Momo's mind unfortunately came up with a logical reason. "They know she is new to our class, and assumed we would leave her to fail as we try and survive."
While he gasped slightly at the idea, Ojiro knew logically it was certainly a fact. Most people would abandon the newest members so the veterans would be the ones moving on. He despised the idea, but now could see the reasoning behind the conclusion. He then couldn't help but feel like his head was burning up. "Is it me, or is it getting super hot now?"
Momo had thought it was in her head, but now she felt her own forehead was heating up, the air itself starting to burn as she breathed. They all turned to see a large furnace in the back of the workshop cranked on, the fire inside blazing and spreading the intense throughout the room. "They turned on the furnace to overheat this place!" She yelled out and stood up.
Jiro panted as she took her jacket off, the temperature quickly passing a hundred degrees. "They trying to cook us in here?!"
Momo sweated as she looked down at her body, her own intelligence piecing it together. "They know everything about our quirks. They are forcing me to burn up, overheating my body and draining my energy. They want to tire me out so I won't be able to use my quirk."
"Well, you won't be the only one feeling exhausted," Ojiro grunted as he flexed his tail. "I'll break us out of here and-
"Wait, they want us to do that. They are probably waiting outside the door right now for us." Momo stated as she activated her quirk, creating several insulated sheets. "These will help for a little. Put these over yourselves."
"We can't just sit here," Jiro huffed out as she pulled the material over her body, the heat somewhat shielded as she looked around the room. "We can't expect to last here with this heat, and the spots will be filled and we won't pass."
Momo knew she was right, knowing they had to do something. She knew with both them and Kendo trapped, this group had their focus on two spots. If she was thinking logically, they could possibly break out of the far side through the wall with Ojiro's tail, since some focus would be left on their new classmates location.
But the idea of using her as a distraction to escape made her sick to her was their with her in the forest, never thinking of abandoning them when they were attacked. She knew the risk when they went to Kamino, and now was part of their class as well. She would not be used as bait now.
"We won't leave her alone as we try to escape." Momo declared as she clenched her fist.
We have to help her."
"I get it, but you just said they are waiting for us there, and that means if I bust out trying to get to her, they will probably have something for me too." Ojiro explained.
"I know…" Momo retorted as her hand began glowing, "And they know that too. I have an idea myself."
BOOM! BOOM BOOM!
The walls reverberated as Kendo punched them several times, gritting her teeth as she struck the concrete over and over trying to break out the back of the room. Unfortunately for her, the solid walls were reinforced with rebar keeping everything together. "Shit… they must've known the walls were like this. Trapped me like a damn rat." She hissed to herself and shrank her hands back to normal. Cracking her knuckles, she knew her hands could possibly break through, but the risk of piercing rebar was something she wasn't willing to take. She then looked to the one way she could break out, which was exactly where she came in from.
"If I just rush out there, they are definitely waiting for me. Not much of a choice now," She said out loud, knowing this was the only thing she could do. She also had no idea where Momo and the others were now, if they were alright… or if they had moved on without her. She didn't want to think that way, but she knew there were things others had to do to pass, and that meant having to think for themselves at times. Forcing out a chuckle, she cracked her knuckles once more. "It's not like it's a life or death choice. But these girls are going to have to earn it if they get me out."
Expanding her right hand, Kendo yelled out and threw her punch, smashing the door open and leaping out into the light. Immediately, she saw a girl with a sledgehammer arm attempt to swing at her, quickly jumping out of the way and backfisting the girl into the wall. Spinning around, she saw she was surrounded by seven others, all ready to attack her. Intelli chuckled as she gripped her chin, laughing as she saw the determined look on Kendo's face. "Well, I am surprised you broke out so easily. Your hands are stronger than I predicted, not that it will help you out here though."
"Yeah? Why don't you come over here and prove that to me?" Kendo hissed out and expanded both hands, watching as another girl had spikes growing out all over her body and one more had what looked like tentacles as arms.
Intelli laughed and stepped forward, her eyes drifting towards the workshop doors. "Your classmates won't be helping you. They are too focused on trying to survive themselves to come out for you. And even if they get out, we have a few ready for them as well."
Looking to her right, Kendo saw the door being guarded by three more teens, all ready to strike if the door broke open. She was tempted to try and break it open, hoping to both help them and get the help she would need as well. Getting to the door was easier said than done, however, knowing she was most likely on her own now. She took a breath readying herself for whatever came her way next.
"Let's just take her down and then get the others." Intelli ordered out, three of the girls ready to rush forward and-
BOOSH!
The door to the workshop burst open from a loud crack from the inside, the girls outside ready to engage with the physical one of the three, Ojiro. When he didn't come out however, they were shocked when a large net was the first thing launching out of the doorway capturing the first two. The final girl sneered and readied her welding blowtorch arm, now waiting for Momo to shoot another net her way. What she didn't expect was Jiro rushing out first with the capture net, and Momo charging past her throwing a chain sickle right at her.
"What?!" Intelli yelped in surprise as Momo quickly ensared her classmate, flipping the girl off the ground with her strength and throwing her into the other two captured girls. She hadn't expected Yaoyorozu to be the one leading the attack, knowing she was a support quirk user and would have sat to the back. Not only that, she figured they would have broken out of the side of the building away from the door, where another classmate of hers was waiting.
"Now!" Momo yelled out, quickly followed by Ojiro leaping out through the doorway with another chain hooked to his tail.
"Kendo, grab on!" He yelled out and spun his body in the air, the thin chain whipping forward and rushing towards the red head. Reacting on instinct, she reached her hand up and grabbed onto the chain, yelping as she was pulled out of the center and thrown towards Momo and Jiro.
Seeing her chance, Kendo let go and flipped down to the ground, yelling as she threw a punch at the squid armed girl and sending her crashing into the nearby wall. "Thought I was on my own for a bit there." Kendo said as she backed up towards Momo.
"You thought we would leave you alone? You're one of us now, and we won't leave you behind." Momo answered with a smile.
Chuckling, Kendo couldn't help but feel happy with their decision. "I appreciate that. Now it's time for me to return the favor."
Glaring, Intelli squeezed her fist and threw her arm forward. "Get them!" she shouted as all her classmates charged forward. As they did, though, she watched her plan fall apart before her.
The squid girl shot her arms out trying to capture Kendo, only for the red head to snatch the tentacles in her large hands and yank her off the ground. Spinning her in the air above her, she shouted and threw her into another one of the others before spinning around and slamming her fists into the ground splitting the concrete. The powerful hit rocked the ground startling the other girls before Kendo grabbed the chunk of ground and chucked it at another foe. "Now let's turn this around
Intelli couldn't believe it as she watched one after another of her friends being taken out. First, she had simply assumed the class A students would have left their new classmate behind, knowing they would have focused on themselves to try and get out. She had planned they would have become drained from the intense heat inside the warehouse, only able to run and try to survive, especially the creationist of the group. She had remembered watching her at the festival, her quirk interesting but so limiting. She was hesitant, cautious and overwhelmed easily. She relied on her quirk too much to put up a decent fight, and her classmates' physical quirks would have easily taken her down.
And this was certainly not the same girl from then.
Whipping her chain sickle around her body, Momo kept a first attacking student away, spinning around and launching it past the spike covered girl and yanking it back, hooking it into the girls back spines and pulling her to the ground. Flipping to the right, she then threw her hand forward, unleashing a handful of created shuriken at one of the others. Not one of them hit, since they were the perfect distraction for Ojiro to leap in and strike her down with a tail swipe. Jumping forward, she then formed a steel guard on her right leg and kicked against the sledgehammer girl's weapon, knocking it aside and throwing her down with a hard body slam.
Seeing she was knocked out now, Momo huffed out and threw a steel staff back towards Jiro.
'Don't give up…' She shouted in her head, fighting through the dizziness from the heat he escaped. She couldn't help but replay the line she heard from Bakugo during internships. 'Giving up is something I'll never do!'
Jiro swung her new weapon around, cracking one of the other girls in the shin, making her yelp out. Wincing at the sound of the impact, Jiro gave a small shrug. "Sorry, but you tried to bake me in there." She stated before swinging down and cracking the girl on the head knocking her out. She yelped out and dodged the welder girls flame, glaring and cocking her pole back like a bat. "Damn it, I'm done dealing with heat, bitch!"
Crack!
The loud snap of the pole breaking the end of the welder torch rang out in the street, Kendo's eyes widening at the usually calm girls outburst. "I thought I get angry sometimes." she mumbled to herself before turning back to her other foe, blocking the incoming tentacles from the one girl once more, chopping the long limbs down before throwing a powerful chop to the girl on the ground knocking the wind out of her.
After a few minutes, the four class A students stood up together, sighing in relief as they saw every girl around them taken out of commission, all except for Intelli standing there in defeat. The gray haired girl gritted her teeth in frustration, her plan destroyed instantly. She knew she wasn't a physically gifted fighter, and she had no chance against these four now. That was why she had all her classmates here to aid in her plan. She never made mistakes and they were always flawless. She couldn't believe this had happened.
As the class A group turned to look at her, she squeezed her fist before relaxing it, letting out a chuckle of defeat. She had focused so much on simply going by logic, she had forgotten how people's emotions can break logic, and it seemed they wouldn't leave their classmate behind.
