After changing back to her school uniform, Katara made her way back to the train station and waited for her train to take her to UA. While standing there, she lifted up the documents that were needed for approval for her work studies and stared at the signature left by Endeavor at the bottom. While it seemed pointless having this signed since the school was the one who arranged this, she also knew Endeavor could have simply rejected the offer this time. The first time with the internships, she didn't have much of a choice due to the confusion with herself and Endeavor. To clear up the air and everything else, the choice did end up working in many ways, both for her cover and the fact she was there when Tenya was as well.

Now though, with everything that happened in Kamino, the school wasn't just requesting this arrangement to save face, but for safety. The thing was Endeavor had to agree to it once again, and he chose to say yes. She shook her head as she sat down on her train, unsure why he would have wanted her to come back after they obviously despised each other… and her feelings only growing stronger after what she had heard from Shoto about his homelife. As the train moved on the tracks, she stared silently at the page in her hand, not even reading the rest of it as her mind spun in confusion. Grunting out, she shoved the pages into her costume suitcase as the train began slowing to her destination.

Walking off the train, she made her way out of the station and to the sidewalk leading back to UA. As she did, she noticed one of her classmates ahead of her, her eyebrow raising to the ash blondes limp. "What happened to you?" she asked, earning a glare from Bakugo.

"Shut it, Hair Loops! I don't need to hear anything from you!" Bakugo barked out as he forced himself up straight, his eyebrow twitching from the pain in his back. "I'm fine!"

"Really?" Katara raised her eyebrow and crossed her arms. "You sure don't look it."

"I said I'm- AGH!" He hissed out from the sudden kink he got in his neck, grinding his teeth in anger and stomping off. That kick from Mirko earlier was still making him ache, the teen growling at the fact he was still made to go there. "Just mind your own business!"

Katara tilted her head as she walked after him, shrugging as she made her way back towards school. She tried just thinking of her own situation, but was distracted by his constant growling and mumbling, frowning over to her classmate. "Rough day for you?"

"Shut up! I don't need sympathy from you!" He snapped back, shifting his neck and feeling it pop. "GAH! God damn that stupid rabbit!"

"Huh? Rabbit?" Katara asked in confusion. "Did you fight someone's pet or something?"

"No you idiot! That damn rabbit hero!" He yelled out in anger, making Katara's eyes widen in surprise.

"Rabbit hero? Wait…" Katara wasn't familiar with alot of heroes, but remembered a certain hero in the top of the ranks, someone who caught her attention because of how brash and physical she was. She couldn't help but smirk at the thought. "Did you get sent to Mirko for your work studies?"

Bakugo's eye twitched at her comment, glaring back at the waterbender. "Shut your mouth, damn it! I didn't ask to go there!"

Katara couldn't help but laugh at the situation, seeing him apparently get a taste of his own medicine. "Let me guess; you challenged her and she whipped your butt, am I right?"

"I didn't ask for shit! She challenged me!" He retorted and began walking down the road again. He rubbed at his neck as he thought back to her agreement, especially since he lost. "I'm stuck there and I didn't even get a damn say in it."

Katara's smile fell slightly when she heard that, having a similar feeling to that as well. "I get what you mean, honestly."

Glancing over, Bakugo eyed her curiously, noticing her frown on her face. He knew she was going back to Endeavor's agency, the very same place where she was made to go back during internships. Now his mind ignored the pain in his neck as he went back to his classmate's situation, trying to think of the other things bothering him. His eyes scanned around for a moment as he looked to make sure they were alone… only to grunt in annoyance when he saw Kendo just up the road from both of them.

'Shit… with all these extras around, how the hell am I supposed to figure out what's up with hair loops?' he growled out, shoving his hands back into his pockets as he continued on. He needed a moment alone… and away from everyone else who could get in his way. There was more to just her powers he had to figure out; there was something else he wanted personally to figure out once and for all, and needed Katara alone to make something clear for himself.

"Hey, looks like I beat you back." Kendo smiled as the two of them made their way her way, with Bakguo scoffing and Katara rolling her eyes.

"Alright, you beat me back to school." Katara joked as they met up, both girls eyeing Bakugo stomp by grunting.

"What's with him this time?" Kendo asked, causing Katara to chuckle.

"He found out he is working for Mirko now."

"Wait…" Kendo's eyes shot open in shock, not expecting that name to ever be heard from a classmate. "Mirko?! She asked him to come and study under her?! How in the hell did that happen?"

"You can ask him, although he doesn't seem that happy about it." Katara laughed out, causing Bakugo to growl out in annoyance.

"No shit, sherlock. Of course I didn't want to go there!" He spat out as he passed through the security gates of the campus. "I didn't even get the chance to see other offers and to see if I wanted to go there instead!"

"Yeah, I know Mirko's a badass. I get why you can't handle it." Kendo said, making Katara raise her eyebrow curiously while Bakugo froze in his spot.

"The hell is that supposed to mean?" Bakugo grunted out, frowning as Kendo gave a small shrug.

"I mean, Mirko is one of the toughest heroes out there, and she hates working with others. I bet she is going to run anyone into the ground that comes to work for her. It's no shame if anyone wanted to quit under her."

Now Bakugo's forehead vein pulsed when he heard those words, his competitive instincts kicking in as he flipped around and glared at the red head. "Nothing is too hard for me to quit, big fists! I can handle anything from anyone!"

"Really?" Kendo acted shocked by his words, "I'm telling you, it's probably going to be hard. I heard stories from other heroes that she would leave everyone else behind because she was too fast and didn't wait for others."

"Oh yeah? Those were all pansies who tried before! I will do anything that rabbit can do and more, you'll see!" he barked out and turned back to the school grounds stomping away, leaving the two teens laughing to themselves.

"Now that is funny," Katara giggled as the angry teen disappeared into the school doors. "You know how to get to him already."

"I mean it's pretty easy. Anything with him losing and he goes off." Kendo gave a smirk as they both walked down the sidewalk to their dorms.

"You're right about that," Katara chuckled as she looked towards the setting sun in the distance. "Anyway, how about you? How was your meetup?"

Huffing out, Kendo gave a small laugh as they walked. "I was a little worried at first, since he is pretty high ranked too. But at least he seemed really interested in me working for him. And it's cool because I've never been to Fujiyoshida, so I get to see Mount Fuji in person at least."

Katara's ears perked up at that, always seeing images of the beautiful mountain and wanting to see it as well. Before she could comment on that, though, she noticed the look of confusion on Kendo's face. "What's wrong?"

"Nothing's wrong. I mean…" Kendo rubbed her arm and sighed. "It's not bad, but when I asked him why he picked me, he was kind of vague about it and didn't answer."

Having a similar feeling, Katara exhaled and rubbed her neck. "I get that myself. It's not like Endeavor even likes me and yet he asked to have me back."

Kendo looked over at her friend curiously to her statement. "So let me get this straight, you say he doesn't even like you… and you are making out with his son?"

Katara blushed at the comment as they approached their dorm building. "That's not the reason he is not fond of me. I really doubt Shoto even talks about anything with him."

"Uh, he doesn't even know?" Kendo whistled out in surprise. "How's that going to work out for you guys later?"

Shrugging, Katara grunted as they walked up the steps to the dorm house. "I honestly don't really care too much about what he thinks. I'm training under him and that's all that matters."

"That doesn't sound like a smart plan…" Kendo frowned. "Whatever crap you have personally, you shouldn't let that affect your training."

"That's easier said than done." Katara muttered out as she opened the door to the building, not at liberty to discuss the dark parts of Shoto's childhood to others. Seeing she wasn't in the mood to talk about it anymore, Kendo dropped the subject and followed her inside their home. As they made their way in, Katara noticed Tsu and Uraraka chatting happily with Shoji, along with Kaminari and Sero laughing at Bakugo's pain.

"Damn, so you got kicked to the ground by a bunny." Sero teased, making Bakugo grit his teeth.

"Shut the hell up! I don't wanna hear anymore from you losers!" He barked out as Kaminari burst out laughing. "Shut your mouth, Sparky! How the hell is this funny?!"

"How is it not? You got your ass kicked by a girl!" Kaminari cackled out.

"So what? You got your ass kicked in the first round of the festival by a girl, dumbass!" Bakugo shot back, making Kaminari blush in embarrassment. Growling, he snatched a water bottle from the fridge and stormed off. "I'm going to bed now!"

"Uh… It's not even dark yet." Shoji commented as the angry teen stomped by.

"And I'm tired, so what!" Bakugo barked out and went into the elevator, growling out as he felt his neck pop again. "GOD DAMN IT!"

Shaking her head at the angry teen, Katara walked into the kitchen and went into the fridge and pulled out a water bottle for herself. Walking over to the couch, she sat down and took a drink from it and sighed out, happy the day wasn't like she expected it was going to be. And that was the confusing part for her; he didn't even say much to her, but there was something that threw her off from his demeanor. She expected that if he had to take her back once more, he would've attempted to force her to the desk like he did last time. But something in his tone just seemed… different.

"Glad to see you back."

The familiar voice snapped Katara out of her thoughts, looking up to see Shoto walking her way. She smiled and sat upright as he sat next to her. "Glad to see you too."

"For some reason I expected you to be gone for the night." Shoto said, earning a head shake from Katara.

"No, we just met with them today to get written approval." She gave a shrug and leaned back on the couch. "And I got mine."

Shoto noticed the tone in her voice right away. "Did something happen?"

''Well, Burnin got to have her rematch with me, although we didn't really get to finish. But your dad… He almost… seemed interested in seeing me working there.'' she said as she took another drink. "I thought he was all against me wanting to work for him."

"There must be a reason," Shoto grumbled as he turned back to her. "He must have been convinced that this would benefit himself."

While she wanted to believe that, Katara just felt something was different. "I don't know. There was something different about it this time, like he actually was curious to see me there."

Now Shoto was curious as well, wondering if his father was playing something for himself. With anything concerning that man, he was never not cautious to what he was planning. "I would be careful, still. I'm not sure if he's playing some kind of game, but he always has a reason for himself."

Nodding, Katara reached over and placed her hand on his knee. "I'll be careful, don't worry. It's not like I trust him, either."

While happy she felt that way, Shoto's eyes glanced down to the hand on his leg, her hand giving a very light squeeze to him. The soft touch only made his heart rate rise, taking a breath as he glanced back up to her face. With everything happening recently, the pair of them had not spent much time together alone, especially since the exam where he had somewhat isolated himself most of the time. He then remembered something Tenya had told him, something he had been thinking of more recently. He rubbed his palms together as he was ready to ask her, but when he did he suddenly felt his body heating up. "Katara…"

She turned to face him, and immediately was surprised by the way he was staring at her. "Yes?"

Shoto didn't know why he began warming up internally as she looked at him, taking a breath trying to act normal. "I was thinking… It's just been really busy with everything."

"Yeah, we have been…" Katara said, noticing his cheeks suddenly blushing. Now she noticed the look in his eyes, reminding her of the times she felt before they finally admitted their feelings to one another. Now she felt her own cheeks heating up as he continued staring. "What did you… have in mind?"

"Well…" Shoto looked away for a moment as he sat there, not sure why this simple thing was making him so nervous. "I was thinking that… since with everything that happened, and…" He huffed out and clenched his fist, nodding as he focused his thoughts. "Do you want to have dinner together sometime?"

Katara felt her chest tighten immediately from the question, herself wondering when he was going to ask her for this. She would have probably blushed herself, but she couldn't help but giggle seeing him so flustered from this. She smiled and leaned a little closer towards him, laughing more as she watched him swallow the lump in his throat. "Look at you, Shoto. Are you asking me out on a date?"

While blushing more, Shoto gave a small smile and nodded. "I guess I am."

Laughing, Katara scooted closer and leaned over so her shoulder brushed against his. She looked up into his blue and gray eyes, admiring the two different colors before she gave a small nod. "I would like that, yes. What did you have in mind?"

Even though they were technically together, Shoto felt like his heart jumped in his chest at her answer. He then thought of the situation they were in, unable to leave campus unless it was for special reasons. Knowing the school would probably deny permission for a dinner date, he knew he had to think of something else. "Perhaps I can do something special here for us… since we can't leave campus on our own right now."

"Here?" Katara raised her eyebrow in surprise, a smile growing on her face. "I can think of something nice to make. We could-

"No…" Shoto said, determined with his idea, "I would like to do something special for us. You don't need to do anything."

Katara was certainly surprised by his offer, but was also growing somewhat excited by the idea. She had always hoped to see him grow further out of his old self, and this was probably the best way to do that. She giggled before nodding once more. "Alright, I will let you do the planning for this. When?"

"Well, I have some classes for my license test the next few afternoons, but I know you have your work studies at random times as well." Shoto sighed and thought for a moment, thinking of a day they would both certainly be free. "How about Sunday?"

While disappointed since it was only Tuesday, Katara still felt excited and smiled, leaning in to give him a quick kiss on the cheek. "Sure. I'll be waiting to see your plan for us, then." She then stood up and stretched her arms. "I'm going to go get relaxed for the evening. I can't wait to see what you have planned for me this weekend."

Winking at him as she walked towards the elevator, Shoto watched as she disappeared behind the closing doors. Now alone, he exhaled and laid back against the couch, unable to keep the smile from spreading on his face. He suddenly felt like all the weight lifted off his shoulder from asking her, now just happy to plan something like this for her. "She certainly deserves something special." He whispered to himself.

"wow, quelle magie et quel amour!"

Shoto gasped and sat up to the sudden voice, turning to see Aoyama's face propped up in his hands over the other couch. "Why do you keep doing that?" he growled out.

"Ah, that was spectacular there, sir Todoroki!" Aoyama happily said as he clapped his hands together. "The romance blossoms in the air strong! Now you must continue on with your promise and go forth!"

Suddenly from behind the couch, Mineta hopped up and glared at Shoto. "You better not screw this up, Todoroki! You are having a date with one of the hottest girls in school!"

Shoto's eyes went wide, realizing these two were eavesdropping on their conversation just now. "How long were you two sitting there for?"

"Shut up now!" Mineta shouted and stomped over towards the fire and ice user. "The fact you get this opportunity is golden, and now you better not screw this up!"

Walking by the room, both Kirishima and Ojiro turned in curiosity to the commotion. "What's going on here?" the tailed student asked.

"I'll tell you guys…" Mineta tapped his foot and grinned. "This dude has a date with Katara Sunday!"

"A Date?" Ojiro raised his eyebrow in surprise before chuckling. "This is finally happening."

"Ah yeah, getting at it! Haha!" Kirishima laughed and grabbed his head. "I was wondering if you chickened out after that night!"

'Why is everyone here all of the sudden?' Shoto grumbled internally from the commotion, looking around to all the faces around him. He was at least thankful the others had left the common area. "There's no need for all of you here."

"Hey, we are just curious, man. I think it's pretty sweet that you're doing this!" Kirishima happily exclaimed as Ojiro gave a small shrug.

"Yeah, it's been kind of obvious you two were getting close recently. It's nice that you're actually going to officially take Katara out."

As if fate were playing out, Tenya walked by at that exact moment when he heard that. The speed teen froze mid step, his head flipping around and locking gaze with Shoto. "What is this?" He exclaimed and quickly stomped his way towards the group. "Todoroki! Are you finally doing what I mentioned to you before?! It is about time this has happened!"

Shoto frowned when the newcomers joined the circle around him, watching as Tenya crossed his arms and stared down his way. "Can we please just-

"This is vitally important that we make sure you have a good plan! Is this the reason you are all here?" Tenya asked as he looked around. "There are still others missing! I shall call them for our intervention!"

"Please don't…" Shoto mumbled in annoyance.

Thankfully, kirishima came to his defense. "Come on, the guy's already burning up, no need to embarrass him more."

"I'm not burning up…"

"Fine, but this is for your own help!" Tenya exclaimed with several chops. "Do you have a rough idea for your date with her yet?"

Now shoto's brow softened as he thought, his own mind wondering what to do. "Well… since we can't leave campus, I was saying we do a dinner here and-

"Boring!" Mineta whined. "Come on, a simple dinner here? That's all you can think of? Where's the flare?!"

"What else is he supposed to do?" Ojiro asked, "It's not like we can just leave campus whenever for things."

"Hmmm…" Tenya analyzed the idea for a moment before he nodded. "Actually, home dates are quite popular. You see them many times in films and they always seem to be very special. This can be a splendid idea if done correctly!"

"You're using movies as ideas?" Shoto questioned.

"There must be candles, and music! Oh magnifique!" Aoyama exclaimed.

"Damn, that sounds good already!" Kirishima laughed in agreement. "Too bad you couldn't throw a movie in as well."

"Why can't they?" Ojiro asked, "we could always set something up for them."

Clapping his hands together, tenya stood up straight and smiled. "I have it! We shall all create ideas and share with each other on a later date! We must make sure this is a well executed idea!"

"Got it!" The others responded and left the room, leaving a truly stunned Shoto sitting all alone on the couch.

"What the hell just happened?"

Rolling himself into his living room, Tensei yawned as he rubbed his eyes. Ever since he returned home from the hospital, the pain medication they had him on wasn't helping him stay fully awake. It was very necessary at the moment, though, since the recent surgery on him was still taking its time healing. He winced as when he shifted, another sharp pain traveled up his back and made his hand shake slightly. Instead of being frustrated at the pain though, he couldn't help but force out a chuckle at the sensation.

The fact he was feeling anything was making his chest swell.

Once he awoke from the hospital after the sudden pain, he was in complete disbelief at what the doctors told him. And after they kept him in for surgery for the next week, he couldn't stop from laughing to himself at random times, never expecting something like this to happen. While the doctors told him it still was no guarantee, the fact there was any kind of hope was something he did not plan on having any more. "How the hell does this all fall into place?" he said to himself as he thought back to this time with the special girl that he ran into all those months back.

He didn't know if it was just pure luck or fate that made him run into Katara that night, and being the one offering her a place to stay in this world. Whatever it was, he was just thankful it had happened; for himself, for Tenya, and for Katara. He felt proud that his family was there to offer her the chance to start a new life here, all while she had been there supporting them just as much. He looked down to his legs and took a deep breath, now knowing there was the small but plausible chance to be using those once more after everything.

Closing his eyes, he focused down his body, below the pain in his back and down. Before whenever he tried, there was nothing but an endless void of nothing, unable to feel anything no matter how hard he concentrated. But now as his mind traveled down his spine, he could sense the faintest feeling of something past the pain filled spot. It was so faint, it almost felt non existent, like a single candle on the mountainside at night. The feeling so minute it was near noticeable… but there was something there that he could sense, and Tensei couldn't help but smile at that fact.

"Come on… You can do this." he whispered out, focusing his entire mind and pushing the feelings he knew from before through his body. He gritted his teeth as he felt like he was trying to move through a thick cloud of darkness, unable to find the sensation he was looking for. Opening his eyes for a split second, he looked down and saw no change, grunting and closing them once more. He continued to push, harder and harder to the point he had sweat roll down his forehead. "Come on…" he muttered and pushed harder, suddenly sensing a hollow feeling below his waist. He stopped and huffed out, taking a breath and opening his eyes. When he did, he almost felt his heart burst through his chest at what he saw.

Unable to control himself, he brought a hand up and covered his eyes, feeling a swell of emotions beginning to rise in his body. A loud chuckle escaped his throat, unable to keep himself from laughing out loud at what happened. A tear rolled down his cheek as he pulled his hand away, looking again to make sure what he saw wasn't his imagination. When he did, he laughed again seeing it wasn't his mind playing tricks on him.

Down below, he had moved his right foot to the end of the footplate. It may have only been a few inches, but he moved it by itself.

After school the next day, Katara sighed as class finally came to an end. Before the final alarm rang, Aizawa stood up from his seat and leaned on his desk. "Alright, to everyone who has approval with your work studies, listen up. Starting today, you are on the clock. If you are requested to go to the field, whether it be before, during, or after class, you are to report to them immediately."

"Sir, I must ask!" Tenya thrust his hand in the air. "You mentioned before this could be affecting our school work! Should the students going to these heroes mention to them the importance of academic learning?"

Katara rubbed her forehead at his question. "Can we just enjoy actually getting out of class to do this stuff?" She whispered.

Aizawa had a similar thought process to the waterbender, sighing as he scratched his chin. "I would hope you understand actual experience trumps school work, Iida. It is your responsibility to catch up to whatever school work missed from your work studies. This experience is to show you all that when being a hero, all other things are supposed to come after that. Learning responsibility is key when you go out there risking your life for others."

"This is so cool!" Uraraka clenched her fists in excitement. "We get to go out on patrol tonight!"

"Mhm…" Tsu nodded in agreement. "I think it's really cool we both got to work under Ryukyu. Who would've thought the number nine hero wanted to have us."

"This is sweet! I can't wait for this!" Kirishima clenched his fists and grinned, happy he was asked for a work studies as well.

As the bell rang, Katara stood up from her seat and slipped her bag on, huffing out as she followed the others out. "So it all starts tonight." she said as she followed some of the others out of the room.

Tokoyami nodded as he walked by her. "Indeed. I am curious how working under someone as high ranked as Hawks will be."

"Don't worry about rankings." Katara told him. "It doesn't matter where they stand as long as they do what's right for you."

"Easy for you to say," Kirishima chuckled as he nudged the waterbender. "Top girl getting the number one hero herself."

Frowning internally, Katara held her tongue to what she really thought, seeing Shoto beside her with a similar look in his eyes. She sighed and gave a shrug in response. "I won't be going there tonight. Apparently he had to report to the hero association and won't be back until tomorrow."

"Ah shit. Well at least you get to go out tomorrow then." Kirishima said as he looked ahead to his friend, chuckling out at what he found out. "How about you, Bakugo? Ready to kick ass with Mirko?"

"Or get his ass kicked." Momo teased from the crowd, causing Bakugo to glare back her way.

"Shut it, ponytail! No one is kicking my ass anymore!" He snapped out. "I will show all you extras I can handle anything from that damn bunny!"

As the exploding teen stomped away, the others laughed out at his antics, Izuku couldn't help but exhale in amazement. "It is really surprising that someone like Mirko asked Bakugo to study under him. She never works with others, and her form of fighting is quite different from his."

"I mean they are both headstrong, and neither like working with others." Tsu chimed in.

"I know, but still…" Izuku scratched his chin in thought. "Being a pure melee fighter, I didn't expect her to want him since his quirk is used for range attacks. But experience is what she is offering him so it is still smart to take it no matter what."

Momo exhaled herself, excited about going back to Edgeshot's once more. "I wonder what else he can show me this time." She said out loud, Smiling over to Izuku beside her. "And you, being so lucky, are going to Nighteye."

"Nighteye?" Katara asked. "Who's that?"

Izuku's eyes suddenly lit up to the question, his smile almost reaching from ear to ear. "Sir Nighteye is the hero who Mirio works for, and he was a former sidekick to All Might years ago!"

"Really?" Katara said in surprise. "I didn't know he had a sidekick."

"It was around six years ago when they went separate ways. He has his own agency now, and I was able to get him to accept my request." he explained. "I am going on a patrol today with M- I mean, Lemillion."

Laughing at his excitement for calling Mirio by his hero name, Katara turned back forward as they neared their dorm house steps. "Well, good luck to all of you out there. I have training with Recovery Girl tonight since I am not going to my studies until tomorrow."

"That means we got a head start on you, then." Kirishima laughed as he walked up to the doors first. "Better not fall behind."

Playfully rolling her eyes, Katara gave a quick wave as the others went inside to get ready for their evening of work studies. Sighing, she turned to Shoto who remained by her side. "Well, I guess you have your classes to head to now, right?"

"I do. And the classes go for three hours." Shoto said in annoyance, making Katara chuckle herself.

"It's alright. We can always see each other for a little before we go to sleep. I may be there late tonight as well since I haven't been there in sometime."

"Alright then, I'll be seeing you tonight."

"And don't forget," She playfully teased and came closer to him, giggling as he suddenly looked flustered. "I hope we don't get too distracted for Sunday."

Before he could answer, Shoto's eyes widened when she kissed him on the lips, sitting there for a moment before she pulled back. Blushing herself, Katara turned and headed back towards the main campus, leaving Shoto taking a breath as he went inside after the others. He couldn't help but smile to himself as he began thinking of the coming weekend, wanting to do something for her after all the times she did things for him.

As she headed back inside the campus, Katara walked down the hall until she found the nurse's office and went inside. She glanced around for a moment until she heard the side room door open, the small woman looking up and smiling at the waterbender. "Welcome back, Katara. It's been quite a while since you've been here." Recovery Girl said as she sat at her desk.

"I know, it's just been quite busy with everything else going on." Katara answered as she shut the door behind her. "I am not doing my work studies until tomorrow, so I had some time for this at least tonight."

"Well, I'm surprised you didn't take the night off and enjoy yourself, since you could spend it with your special friend." the woman teased much to Katara's surprise.

"My special friend?" she asked, making the nurse chuckle.

"Come on, when you live as long as I do, you notice all those signs; the spark in your eyes, the light flush in your cheeks when I asked that… and I saw that boy not leave your side in the hospital."

Katara blushed as she remembered after the training camp incident, knowing Recovery Girl came in to help her then as Shoto stayed with her the whole time. She just smiled and shook her head, deciding not to try and deny the nurse as she took her backpack off. "My… special friend has classes tonight as well." She said, hiding her giggle.

Chuckling, Recovery Girl slipped open her desk and pulled out a few files she had to work on. "Well, I hate to disappoint you, but there haven't been any cases today of injured students coming in." Katara frowned at the news, hoping there was a way to practice her healing more. Before she could say anything, however, the mic in her ear exploded with chatter and panic, the nurses eyes widening in fear as she jumped up from her desk. "Bring them in now!"

"What happened?" Katara asked in worry, following the nurse as she ran into the side room. "What's wrong?!"

"There was an accident in the second year dorms. Apparently a few of them were arguing and got into a fight that caused part of the building to come down," the nurse explained as she hastily cleared off one of the beds. "Hurry and get the others prepared!"

Nodding, Katara turned and lifted the boxes of bed wraps off the nearby bed, setting them on the floor before moving and pulling it down the third bed from the wall. "How many are injured?" She asked as she prepared the bed.

"Four, and two are quite serious." Recovery Girl explained, growling in annoyance as she quickly walked back toward the entrance. "I'm going to need your assistance with this, Katara. My quirk needs a small amount of time to replenish itself between healing sessions, so if you can do what you can for the others as I work, it will help a lot."

"Of course." Katara said as she came into the main room behind the nurse as the door opened up to one of the medical bots with the first student, her eyes going wide to the site that followed. The waterbender felt her chest tighten as she moved back as the others came in, her heart jumping in shock at what had happened... but what happened next changed everything she knew.

Midnight, Tokyo Bay docks

The bright lights of Tokyo flickered over the water of the harbor, dancing along the surface of the rolling sea. The faint noise of the bustling city in the distance was barely noticeable on this side of the bay, where the shipping docks were empty this late at night. Or… They should have been, except for the drug deal going on at this moment.

Walking underneath one of the flickering spotlights, a large man in black took a hit on the cigarette before exhaling. The brown haired man approached the small boat parked at the end of the wooden dock, seeing the single orange light on the front of it, signaling it was the one he was meeting. As he approached, two men suddenly stood up from inside the boat, one of them sporting a head full of spikes instead of hair. What both of them had in common were rifles aimed his way. "Alright, close enough!" One of them ordered, pulling back on the pin and arming his weapon.

Chuckling, the brown haired man casually raised his hands up and blew out smoke. "Easy boys, just here for our meeting."

"I know," a third man stood up from the boat, his eyes glowing red as he stepped onto the dock. "Just a precaution. Didn't expect you to simply come alone."

"Don't worry. They'll come out when you drop those things." the brown haired man stated, watching as the red eyed fellow signaled the others to lower the guns… not that he was worried about them. Taking another hit of his cigarette, he turned around and nodded, suddenly joined by four others who came from the shadows. One was a woman with golden hair, her arms lined with blades jutting out her entire forearms. Another was a silver haired man with blue eyes glaring at the boat men. The third man appeared normal, and the final member seemed to appear from nowhere, his reptilian body coming into view as his camouflage deactivated. Smiling at the three men's reaction, the brown haired man chuckled and walked forward. "Can't be too careful, you know."

The glowing red eyes of the man on the boat sparked for a moment before he chuckled himself, blinking and letting his eyes turn back to their normal green tone. "Enough of the small talk, yes? You said you had product for us, Mr. Stone.."

"And I hear you have the money," Stone grinned as he snapped his fingers. "Two hundred kilos of cocaine ready for your customers. And I hope you have all our payment, correct?"

"Of course, it's right here," the man on the boat said, "As long as I see the quality of your product. If it's as good as I hear, then I shall use you as our main supplier from now on."

"Oh we don't disappoint," Stone chuckled… before glaring and turning to see the hold up after his snap. "Shinji, get your ass over here!" he yelled to the van parked at the end of the dock, where his final member was supposed to be. After a few moments of silence, he growled and looked at the silver haired guy in his crew. "Go check what the hell he is doing."

The leader on the boat raised an eyebrow as he watched the one man walk back towards the end of the pier. "Do we have a problem, Stone?" he asked.

"Of course not," Stone reassured him, turning back to watch his man check out what was wrong… now to see that man missing from sight. "The hell?" he whispered, the others now turning in confusion to what happened. Then, the slight sound of something moving in the water nearby caught their attention. "What was that?!"

Everyone there was now on edge, the men on the boat aiming their weapons out and the four people on the dock faced outward. The woman flexed her arms, jutting out the sharp blades even further out from her body as Stone's body suddenly became hardened rock, his arms crunching together as he moved looking around. "You set this up, didn't you?!" Stone yelled out in anger.

"The hell are you talking about?! I bet you were the ones followed!" the man on the boat screamed, his eyes glowing a bright red as he looked back and forth on the water. "Get us the hell out of here!" He ordered one of the men to start the boat, but was met by a scream and a loud splash, turning to see a man missing and water falling back down. "The fuck?!"

"Shit!" The remaining gunman on the boat shouted as he aimed the machine gun over the side of the boat, spraying bullets back and forth into the dark water. He turned back around but was met with a stream of tan liquid spraying into eyes, the burning sensation making him scream out in agony. "AGH! I can't… I can't see!" He screamed out, unable to see the orange tail shooting up from the water and grabbing him by the throat. He gasped out as the scaled tail yanked backward, dragging him over the edge and into the dark water.

"Fuck!" the final man on the boat yelled out, his eyes sparking red as he screamed out, unleashing a burst of lasers out into the water. The water blasted up as the bright beams cut into the bay, lighting up the surface and illuminating the serpent-like body moving underneath. "There's someone down there!"

"The hell is going on?! Is it a hero?!" the final man in the drug group yelled, his body suddenly glowing red as his hands transformed into burning plasma as the lizard member hissed out, his body camouflaging once more. "Let's just go and-

The wooden planks below the man's feet burst upward, followed by a large clawed hand shooting through and grabbing him by the foot. The man could only scream for a moment as he was dragged downward, his body breaking through the floorboards as he was taken underwater. The others watched in horror as the red glow from his body slowly faded in the darkness, revealing the large, bulky figure darting through the water above his corpse.

"The hell is that?!" Stone gasped out as he stepped back from the hole below. "There's two of them!"

"Screw this, I'm out of here!" the blade armed woman yelled and sprinted down the dock towards the van. She only got several steps as the water from the side exploded up, unable to see the enormous body crashing into her and tackling her into the cold, salty water. She attempted to flail her arms out to cut whatever grabbed her, but felt her body lock up as a powerful set of jaws clamped down on her neck, the teeth biting down and twisting her neck until it cracked.

"Shit shit shit!" Stone yelled out in terror as he stumbled back towards the boat, his eyes darting back and forth over the surface of the water. "This is no hero! The hell is this?!" he reached down and plowed his fist into the deck below, his rock hand cracking the beam and pulling up a large beam like a bat.

Sneaking down the dock, the invisible lizard user slowly walked as he tried escaping, his heart racing as he almost reached the van at the end. 'Almost there…' He whispered inside.

"I got you."

The invisible man gasped as a long tail suddenly ensnared his throat, gasping as it tightened and cut his air off. His camouflage faded out as his hands reached for his neck, struggling to remove the tail as it grew tighter and tighter. His bulging eyes looked over to see the red eyes of the cobra user snickering at him, venom dripping off the man's fangs as he stared at him.

"I can sense your body heat, so it doesn't matter if I can't see you." Kobura laughed as his target struggled in his grip, his gaze shifting to the remaining two men on the dock, his forked tongue flicking out as they both faced him down. "And now we have you two fellows left."

"Who the hell are you?!" Stone yelled out as he tightened his grip on the beam in his hands, his body crunching as his rock joints shifted back and forth. Breathing hard, the man from the boat jumped onto the dock and stood by him as well, both of them willing to work together from this new attacker.

"You're here for the drugs, aren't you?" the laser user shouted out, his eyes glowing brighter as he watched for any movement.

"Drugs? Come on…" Kobura laughed as he tightened the grip with his tail, squeezing until he felt the man's neck in his coils break. He let the corpse fall to the ground much to the others terror. "We don't want that shit… but the reason we are doing this is because of them."

Stone's eyes widened when he noticed what was emphasized in that statement. "We?"

The water behind the two of them burst upward, the laser user flipping around in reaction to the sudden noise. Before he could even see it coming, however, he was slammed down into the deck knocking the wind out of his chest. He could only wheeze out for a moment before he looked up, just to have two clawed thumbs pierce straight into his eye sockets blinding him. The man screamed out in agony as the claws pulled out of his head, his hands reaching up and gripping at the bloody spots on his face, leaving Stone alone as he stared in shock at the massive figure who had now revealed himself.

The large being stood up from his flailing target, his head standing over 2 meters above the ground. His body was covered in gray fur with black spots, his massive arms sticking out from his ripped body and tipped with sharp black claws and webbed fingers. What stood out more was his face, the figure's cold, black eyes set above his whiskered cheeks and lighter white fur underneath his neck and trailing down. His Jaw protruded out slightly, his nostrils flaring as his curling lips revealed his large, canine-like teeth. He hissed out and stepped forward, flexing his claws as he approached the frightened Stone.

"The hell do you guys want with me? Come closer and I'll crack your skull!" Stone threatened, trying his best to not seem intimidated. The leopard seal user only hissed as he stared down at the rock man.

"Go ahead and try." The large hunter scoffed as he came closer, clenching his fist as he watched the large wooden beam shift in his target's hand.

"Rah!" Stone swung the beam forward, but only gasped as it simply split in half against the large man's arm to almost no response from the hunter. Stone glared and dropped the wood, clenching his fists and raising them up. "Come on, you hairy bastard!"

Charging forward, Stone ran forward swinging his fist forward, only striking air as the hunter dodged casually. After several more punches, Stone threw a hard right at the man's chest, but felt his hand pushed to the side as the leopard seal man grabbed him by the throat and picked him off the dock. Even with his rock encased throat, he felt the powerful claws squeezing tighter and scraping across the surface, swinging his leg and kicking into the larger man's shoulder. Once again, it seemed to have no effect against the steel like muscles of this foe. As he continued to struggle out of the grip, Kobura chuckled as he slithered towards his associate. "It's not good to play with your food, Kavik." he laughed out.

"I don't," Kavik growled as he took another kick from the man in his grasp. Roaring out, he slammed Stone down into the wood dock shattering the section they were on, the impact rocking the entire structure. Lifting him back up, Kavik drew his arm back and drove a powerful punch to Stone's stomach, the hit causing him to buckle over despite the rock skin on his body. After two more hits, the armor-like skin began to crack from the force, and then began chipping off as he was slammed back down onto the dock's surface. Stretching his mouth out, Kavik clamped down onto the criminal's neck, his powerful jaws and teeth straining until there was a loud crack. Stone gasped out as his quirk crumbled, the pressure so much it destroyed the protection on his neck, the sharp teeth of the hunter piercing into his throat.

As he was released, Stone gasped several times as his quirk dissipated, his hands flailing at the blood pouring from his neck. He coughed out as he warm liquid run through his fingers, his shaky eyes looking up to the two killers standing above him now. "Just take… Just take the money and drugs. Let me go." He forced out as he felt blood filling up inside his throat.

Kavik knelt down as he spit out the blood in his mouth, staring down at the man beneath him. "We aren't here to take your product. We just came for you." he coldly stated. "You went into someone else's territory, and now you've paid the price."

Stone froze at that statement, knowing exactly what that meant… and who these men were working for. Before he could say anything, Kobura opened his mouth and shot venom down straight into Stone's face and mouth, the toxic fluid burning his inside instantly. Because of his open wounds in his throat leaking in his windpipe, the venom spread even faster than normal, locking his muscles up and causing his neck to contract. After a few moments, his breathing became impossible, gasping as he felt his vision go blank, before he slipped into total darkness and stopped moving.

Seeing their target dead, Kobura sighed and flicked his tongue out, cracking his neck and stretching his arms. "Well that was easy. You would think drug dealers would have been a bit more formidable." He mumbled out in boredom.

"It's not about having fun, it's about getting our task done and we did." Kavik bluntly responded. Standing up from the ground and wiping his mouth, glaring at the blood on his forearm. "Don't treat this like a game. Taking them out before they make use of their quirks is always the smartest move."

"You always were too serious," Kobura frowned at his associate, "What's wrong with a bit of a challenge when we do these jobs at times?"

Kavik huffed out at the comment, his ears perking up at the grunts from behind. He turned around to see the man he blinded earlier still thrashing about, struggling to find his way down the dock towards his boat. Growling, the leopard seal user stomped down the dock and grasped the man's neck from behind, squeezing hard and lifting the panicked man off the ground. "We are here to do a job and receive payment, that is what matters. Don't act like we are here for fun."

"God, you're a stiff sometimes." Kobura hissed as he slithered over to the boat, looking around the contents as he found a briefcase. "What's wrong with having a little fun as we do this? Isn't that why you joined? Or are you all about the money?"

"Of course. I was good at this, so I put it to use." Kavik grunted as he squeezed harder, feeling the light pop of the man's neck in his claws and letting his body fall to the ground. "You can do whatever you want, as long as it doesn't threaten our work."

Rolling his eyes, Kobura flipped open the briefcase and stared at the stacks of money lined inside. "Well don't drool too much, but at least we have a good little bonus out of this." He said as he closed the case and tossed it over to the leopard seal. "Maybe you can buy yourself some shampoo. You smell like shit."

Huffing at the others' attempt at humor, Kavik reached into his pocket and pulled out the small ziplock bag containing a phone. Opening it up, he dialed on the keypad and put it to his ear, listening to it ring until it answered. "It's done. We are finished here." He said before shutting his phone off.

Licking his lips, Kobura spit out some lingering venom in his mouth and sighed. "Now it's time for her to go and collect."

Yokohama district, near Tokyo

The industrial sector of Yokohama sat quiet as the bright moon hung over the sky, the area shut down ever since the new factory district in Tokyo replaced most of the factories. At one of the large warehouses towards the harbor, several guards stood watch outside of the large sliding doors, waiting for the next shipment coming. After a few minutes, a large armored truck came around the corner, flashing its lights signaling them. Quickly opening the doors, the men followed the truck inside and shut it behind them. Coming to a stop under the large overhead light , the doors to the back of the truck opened up revealing three more men as they jumped out and pulled out the bags in the back. Watching them remove the bags were seven others, all of them standing behind a dark skinned man with white hair, smiling as his men brought forth the payment from their last sale.

"That's what I'm talking about there." the drug kingpin laughed as he reached into his tan suit pulling out a cigar, his fingers sparking with blue electricity and igniting the end of it. "Any trouble from the buyers?"

"No, but I can tell they aren't happy with the price," one of the men in the trucks grunted as he pulled out one of the bags of cash. "They know there are cheaper options out there."

The smile fell from the leader's face, clenching his fists as sparks crept up his skin. Ever since that man Stone came into Tokyo several months ago, he had seen some of his customers leave to buy from the cheaper drug supplier. "Don't worry about that. As long as those people do what they said they could do, we won't be worrying about that any longer."

"And you are right about that."

All of the men in the warehouse flipped around to the sudden voice, guns drawn out and any of their quirks activating. The leader stepped forward and charged both of his arms, the blue lightning sparking off his arms. He stared towards the darkness, but felt his heart jump when six bright yellow eyes peered through the shadows. He quickly shut his quirk off as some of his men stepped forward with their weapons. "Hold up! Stand down."

"What?" one of his men asked, his shotgun shifted arm still pointed towards the eyes. "That's not one of us!"

"I know," The leader responded, shaking his head as he stepped forward in front of his men. "How the hell did you get inside?"

"You boys left a window open upstairs," A woman's voice said, the many sets of yellow eyes blinking in the light sound of footsteps echoed as the being walked out of the shadows, the black dress on the tall arachnid woman hugging tight to her body as she chuckled to herself to the others in the room backing up at her arrival. "You didn't answer your phone, so I just wanted to come and check on my new friend."

"Who the hell are you?" one of the other men glared at the woman coming forward, his hands held tight on his machine gun. He felt his skin crawl as the woman came fully into the light, and the four long spider legs sticking out into the air from behind her back shifting as she walked.

Clicking her tongue at the look she received, Itkomi shook her head at the gang leader. "You should tell your boys it's rude talking to a woman like that, Watts."

The leader Watts took a breath and turned towards his men, signaling them to stand down. After a few hesitated for a bit, they all did before he turned back to the newcomer. He was certainly not expecting to see this woman again so soon after he met with her last week. "What the hell are you doing here? And how did you find this place?"

"It's not like you were hard to find, but it's so nice to see you too." Itkomi teased as she looked down to her gloved fingers. "I need the rest of my payment now."

Glaring, Watts pulled the cigar out of his mouth and exhaled the smoke. "I thought we had an agreement? That bastard Stone was selling shit in my territory, and I wanted him dead; and you would get the second half of your money once he was gone. And last I heard this evening, he was stealing another one of my clients from me."

"And you were right. You can go and try to fish his body out from the sea if you want," Itkomi chuckled at the reaction from the man in front of her. "We also finished off your old business partner as a bonus."

As the other men looked around at each other in confusion, Watts just sat in surprise at the response. He had been trying to locate Stone's exact location for the last few months, but the bastard was moving around constantly making it difficult. After he met the hunters last week and told them of his problem, he expected it would have been a few weeks before they cleared his request. He never expected they would have found him this quickly. He then laughed out loud in relief to the news and brought his cigar back up to his mouth, happy his business was back in charge once more. "And to think I was worried about this not getting done."

Itkomi faked a hurt expression and placed a hand on her chest. "I'm insulted that you had concern for our success. If you were worried then you could've tried to do it yourself." She snickered and stood back up straight. "But it is done now, so we set our business deal aside and I'll be on my way."

Sighing,Watts turned around and walked towards the couple bags of money on the ground, opening them up and began counting the stacks inside. When he had met with her the week before, his emotions were running high after Stone had cost him a fortune on another sale gone bad, and that caused him to just spit out the price he offered for the job without thinking. After paying her ten million yen for the job and another fifteen million for completion, he began contemplating this as he fumbled inside the bag with the stacks of money. With his opposition gone now, he suddenly felt more powerful and free from worry… and free from this agreement now.

"I… I'm surprised you didn't send one of your goons to pick this up," Watts said out loud as he played with a thicker stack of bills in his hands, his mouth curling into a smirk as he thought of his option.

"I thought it was fair to come in person for this. Your offer was so generous I had to thank you. Business has been on the slower side recently, So good offers like this are special for me." Itkomi answered as Watts stood back up, but then her eyes noticed his hands were empty of bills.

"It was… but now that Stone is gone, it seems my troubles are gone, and I have nothing to worry about anymore." he grinned and walked forward, cracking his knuckles in amusement to himself. "Perhaps my boys would enjoy a little bonus from your payment, am I right?"

A mix of laughs and snickers rang out in the room, the men knowing exactly what he meant by that as they raised their weapons up once more. Itkomi's smile fell from her face at the sight before her, her mouth falling open in disbelief to the act. "You're trying to back out of your payment now?"

"I mean my troubles are gone now and taken care of, I thank you for that. But… Now that we are done, maybe you and your little zoo friends can go somewhere else." Watts chuckled as his men laughed. "If you were smart yourself, you'd have brought your group as well to make sure you were safe and got your money. All we have here is one little spider, alone and no friends to help her."

As the men all laughed and moved forward by their boss, Itkomi felt her blood boil at the answer she was just given. She clenched her sharp fingers in rage, her knuckles cracking as her eyes looked between the many weapons and quirks focused on her. Exhaling, she clicked her tongue in disappointment at their choice, closing her as she shook her head. "You just made a big mistake just now." she growled out as Watts' hands sparked out.

"You are the one who made a mistake," Watts chuckled as the lightning moved up his arms. "You should've come with backup to a money exchange. Any criminal knows that."

Taking a deep breath, Itkomi's six eyes snapped open at the comment. "And who says I ever needed it with you?"

In shocking speed, a string of webs shot out from the spider users hand past the group of men and sticking onto the truck. With a hard pull, the vehicle was yanked forward plowing through the center of the men as they screamed out in shock. Watts jumped out of the way as the car crashed directly into the back of one of his men sending him flying, crawling back up and spitting the cigar out of his mouth. "That bitch!" he yelled and turned back… his eyes widening as Itkomi was gone from the light.

"The hell did she go?!" one of them yelled as he crawled back up, his rifle aimed forward as his eyes looked around. "Where did she go?!"

The man with a shotgun for an arm popped off a round in the darkness where she came from, the flash illuminating the area and revealing she wasn't there. "She pulled the goddamn truck with a web?!" he yelled out, shocked by the strength from the woman.

Another of the men's arms suddenly grew dozens of sharp quills, as another's body suddenly morphed and grew, his skin growing gray as his muscles grew larger. "Let's kill that damn spider!" he shouted

Glaring, Watts reactivated his quirk, his arms arcing out more blue electricity as he shot his eyes back and forth. "You think you can get away from here? I have men outside this building that will kill you, so you might as well die here and now!"

The group of ten men made a circle in the light, their eyes looking back and forth as they watched for any movement. Then, the loud crack from above made them all jump, just as the lights above went out and the room became dark other than Watts' quirk illuminating the area. "Shit!" One of the other men shouted out, he and several others pointing their guns up and spraying bullets above.

"Hold your fire!" Watts shouted, his eyes going back and forth. "It's just one woman. Keep your heads cool and blow that bitches head off!"

Suddenly, a stream of webs shot out sticking to one of the men's back, yanking back and pulling the screaming man into the shadows. Immediately the others turned and unloaded their weapons in that direction, only seeing sparks as their bullets struck nothing. "Where the hell is she?!" another shouted, just as a thick string dropped down from above, encircling his neck and pulling him off the ground and towards the ceiling strangling him.

"Holy shit!" another panicked man screamed as he watched his coworker flailing upward, his feet kicking in terror before he disappeared into the darkness. Aiming his hands up, Watts unleashed a bright stream of blue lightning up into the rafters, lighting up the entire ceiling of the warehouse. He didn't see Itkomi anywhere there, but he did find his man up there… his body dangling there lifelessly by the throat.

"Jesus…" Watts muttered under his breath, swallowing the lump in his throat as he stepped back. He and the others looked back and forth in the warehouse. "Come out, you bitch!"

Before they could even see it, two streams of webs shot out through the shadows ensnaring two more men before their quirks could even react. Their screams rang out through the warehouse as they were pulled out of the faint light, their weapons firing and illuminating their bodies before they too were silenced. The hulking gray man yelled out and ran after the two men. "You're dead!" he roared out and slammed his fists down, shattering the entire area and nearly bringing the warehouse down from the impact. He drew his fist back and threw another punch… only to feel another hand stop his fist instantly. The large man was so shocked by the strength of this woman, he didn't even see her slip down between his legs, spraying a thick webbing onto his back and catapulting him through the air.

From their spot in the light, Watts and the others gasped as the muscle of the group was suddenly flying back towards them, ducking as the large man flew past and slammed into the truck so hard it flipped onto it's side. "The hell is she?! Titan weighs a ton and she just threw him like a baseball!" the quill user shouted as he breathed hard. "Let's get out of here!"

"Shut up, we are finishing this!" Watts screamed in anger, turning around and shooting off his lightning into the darkness. "Where the hell are you?! Show yourself!" he shouted and shot his lightning in a different direction, the arcs of electricity sparking through the warehouse and lighting up the structure. He knew with all the sound being made, the others outside would be here any second.

The others in the room weren't as optimistic as him, however, sweat falling down their foreheads as they shot glances all around the dark warehouse hoping for a moment to run… which wasn't coming as another web shot out and entrapped one of the men by the ankles. He screamed out as he was dragged into the shadows, clawing at the ground as he was pulled out of the light and grabbed by the head and lifted off the ground. His eyes burst open in horror as he suddenly felt a sharp pain as his neck was pierced by fangs, only to be followed by a cold, numbing sensation running through his body. He was dropped back to the floor as his muscles spasmed, his mouth foaming as the venom ran directly to his heart and mind, shutting his organs down in only a few moments.

The last few remaining men huddled in a tight circle, panic taking over their bodies as they worried who was next. Suddenly, the emergency power in the building kicked on, the large spotlight above turning back on and lighting the warehouse back up. When it did, however, it revealed the shadow of the long body and spider legs shifting in the light, the men's eyes drifting up to see Itkomi hanging upside down above them. "Oh shit!" the quill user screamed as she dropped towards them, shooting off his quirk at the incoming assassin only for her spider legs to block the projectiles.

"Kill her!" Watts screamed as he charged his quirk and blasted his lightning up at her, the arachnid woman pulling herself out of the way with her webbing as she landed on the ground in the center of them all. She whipped one of her long spider legs out, knocking a rifle pointed at her out of the way before shooting her web at another and pulling the weapon out of his hand. The quill user shot out a barrage of needles toward her, the hunter quickly grabbing a man by the throat and using him as a shield taking all of them. She threw the dying man into another member of the group as she tilted her head, casually dodging a blast of lightning from Watts without even looking before shooting webbing down and pinning his hands to the ground before shooting another stream and sealing his mouth and nose closed as another of her arachnid legs shot out and pierced the shotgun hand user through the leg making him scream out in pain.

"AGH! Oh god!" the man screamed as he dropped to his knees, his hand shifting back from a gun to normal as he clutched at the open wound. He wouldn't be worried for much longer, as a thick net of webbing suddenly wrapped around the man's neck, the strand much thicker than the other webs from before and tightened around his throat. After a quick snap, the steel-like silk slashed straight through the flesh and bone of his neck, cutting all the way through as the man's headless body dropped to the ground, leaving Watts trembling in horror at the sight of the head rolling on the ground.

"Jesus…" he gasped out as he stepped back, his terrified eyes looking back and forth in the darkness around him. He blindly shot out several more arcs of lightning through the building, now realizing how much of a mistake he made. He assumed a single person here would have felt overwhelmed, and yet he was the one at a disadvantage now. He was tempted to run for the doors and scream for his other men, but he knew there was no way to make it before she got to him.

"Alright, I m-made a mistake there, I'm sorry!" Watts shouted out, flipping around when he thought he heard a sound. "That money I owe you, I'll pay it! Double, I'll pay double now! So just-

The powerful stab from behind came so fast Watts didn't even sense the feeling until he felt something rip through the center of his back, his mouth locking open in pain as it ripped out through his chest and lifted him off the ground. He spat out blood as his hands trembled in agony, his eyes drifting down and seeing the purple and red spider leg protruding through the front. His skin crawled as a red glove and long fingers slowly gripped his shoulder, and Itkomi's face coming up from behind by his ear.

"I could care less if I got more than a single yen from you, you pathetic worm," She hissed as her sharp fingers dug into his shoulder. "I am a person of integrity, and we made a deal with each other. When you break that agreement, no amount of begging from you will change what happens to you next."

Watts gasped out for air as his terrified eyes watched her mouth open more, revealing a large set of fangs lower from inside her mouth just as she lunged forward. He felt his body convulse as her teeth pierced his throat, the fangs injecting loads of venom into his bloodstream making him run cold. She yanked back on her spider leg, removing it from his body in a sickening plop as he collapsed to the ground. Watching him convulse on the ground, Itkomi licked her lips free of blood as he sneered at the man below her.

"I should have just let you bleed out. Consider that bite mercy, you greedy bastard." She hissed as he twitched several more times before he froze, his eyes rolling white as the veins on his neck and face shifted to a dark purple tone. The blood slowly flowed out of his mouth as he began choking from his muscles contracting, just before his eyes rolled white as he died from the venom. "Damn it… god damn it…" She cursed out to herself.

On the wall of the warehouse, the driver of the truck trembled behind a crate as he peeked over the top, mortified by the scene he just watched. He was lucky enough to have been thrown from the fight when Titan collided with the truck, launching him over here where he sat in silence. He slowly stepped backwards as he neared the side door, his shaking hand fumbling in the dark until he found the handle. He took a breath and looked one more time making sure she was there, seeing this his only chance as he burst the door open, turning and running out to-

SPLAT!

The driver only got two steps out when the clawed hand pierced him through the abdomen and exited through the back, killing him instantly before the sharp claws were yanked back out letting him fall. Flicking the blood off, the raptor user Muteki grunted as he looked behind, the line of dead guards littered across the road before he walked into the warehouse to his boss. "You missed one," He joked as he came into the light.

"I knew he was there. Wasn't even worth my time," She grunted as Muteki approached. "I didn't ask for your help here."

"I know. That's why I didn't disturb you when I heard the shots." Muteki clicked his tongue as he pointed to the door. "The little rats outside I dealt with." Seeing the look on her face, He let out a sigh. "Obviously it didn't go well."

Shaking her head, Itkomi cracked her knuckles and flicked her spider leg, shaking the blood off her limb. "He thought he could get away with not paying me. That's the third time in the last couple weeks that's happened to some of us."

"Don't worry about it, as you can see it's no problem," Muteki shrugged. "Just give me the order and I'll take care of the next group that does that. They'll learn if they hire us, don't ever cross us."

Itkomi glared as she stepped down on Watts' dead body. "It's more than that. Ever since All Might retired, these bastards suddenly feel like they are invincible now. They think they are stronger than they think and can get away with more. Not only that, we've seen a large decrease in requests ever since then as well."

Muteki raised his eyebrow in surprise. "What are you trying to say?"

"I'm saying that with all these criminals growing balls like this idiot, we are going to be slower now. Not much has changed, but the simple fact that the number one hero is gone now, people have the courage to do these crimes on their own instead of hiring people like us. If it goes on like this, then we are going to really be splitting profits soon unless we get a job that will cover us for a long time. " She then thought back to their little encounter with the league of villains member, sighing as she scratched her shoulder. He did seem different than the other requests recently, one with a real goal and plan that, while crazy, could be a game changer for them. She gave a small chuckle and looked to her second in command. "That Dabi hasn't called at all, has he?"

"No, why?" Muteki asked, growing curious at her question.

"Perhaps we should figure out more of this plan he has. Maybe we can do something big for the first time in quite some time."

Notes: Here we are folks... back with a new chapter at a decent pace!

the hunters making another move to their next job. I've always thought animal quirk users were underrated in the series, and now it's time to really show what some can do. And yes, we have a seal villain, people. Leopard seals are the most dangerous seal species, so imagine the hero Selkie but stronger, faster and deadlier.

And I had a special scene planned for Katara's training, but instead I've moved it to the next chapter, which will make sense why I did that once it comes out. It's... big. I'll leave it at that.

now hope to see all your comments/reviews. I really do appreciate it. Till next time!
