Just after the confession

Alone in her room, Katara laid on her bed as she stared up at the ceiling. After coming clean with the class about her true self, She had certainly felt the tension of keeping her secret gone now. An hour later, unfortunately, she now had the worry of how everyone was going to take this truth she just laid on them. The silence they all had was certainly not the most supporting reaction she had, and the look on some of their faces wasn't much better as well. Now it was the reactions they were going to do to worry about.

While all of those in her class she cared for, she was a bit more concerned with those who were much closer as her friends. No one she really believed would be the type to suddenly go and reveal herself to others, whether it be to the fellow students in school or to the media and outside world. No, even just those she considered acquaintances she didn't see that occurring. But her friends… the outcome she could only hope would be as well as the others who knew already.

Knock Knock.

"Katara? Do I have permission to enter?"

Katara sat up to Tenya's voice from the outside, quickly walking over and opening the door. She saw the look of concern on his face, frowning herself and rubbing her arm. "Hey…" she quietly said.

"Are you doing well?" he asked her, his mouth falling open to the look she gave him. "I mean… How are you feeling?"

"As good as I can be…" Katara sighed, walking back and sitting on her bed. "What's everyone else doing?"

"Most of them haven't really said anything…" Tenya admitted as he sat next to her. "Tokoyami hasn't said anything since you left, same as Shoji and a few others. Some left for their rooms like Bakugo… and Kaminari is arguing with Kirishima about you."

Katara furrowed her brow to that answer, not liking hearing even Tokoyami was being silent to the news (even though he was normally silent, she didn't like it now). With Bakugo, she knew he simply kept to himself and didn't care to get involved with arguing. "And Kaminari and Kirishima are…?"

Tenya gave a small smile. "I didn't even need to argue to convince Kirishima. He is certain you are too cool for someone not to trust."

Unable stop from chuckling, Katara shook her head in amusement. "Of course he did." Happy he was supportive of her, she could only hope some of the others were in such agreement. "And some of the others I assume aren't too keen on my truth?"

Tenya sighed and cleaned his glasses. "I mean, Tsu and Mina don't seem upset, but they are just so confused. I've been explaining to them what I know as well, but it's just a lot for them to take in. Shoto was just as adamant in arguing with those who were even partially confused with the truth. Izuku has been very helpful in keeping it calm for everyone and explaining his thoughts on the situation."

Katara felt somewhat better hearing support from those who already truly knew her, along with Kirishima and others who seemed to be okay with her. In fact it seemed believing her wasn't the problem… but trusting her seemed to be the main issue now. While thinking it was best to leave them to themselves to take it in, perhaps it would've been better to stay and argue her own case. "I guess it wasn't that smart to just leave, huh?"

"You did what you thought was best, Katara. Don't stress yourself up too much about this complicated situation."

"It's just… hmph…" Katara grunted as she rubbed her neck, thinking to the faces some of them had after learning her truth. She felt it most with those who were closest to her, the ones who were more than just great and close classmates, but genuine friends who she didn't want to lose. Deep inside she believed many of them would come around, but she just hated the uncertainty she felt now. "Maybe I should go and talk to each of them separately to help clear the air."

"You can, but perhaps you can wait until tomorrow. It is already late and many are going back to their rooms, so I believe it would be best to let them rest up for the night." Tenya explained, turning to the knock on the door. Quickly standing up, he walked over and opened it, his eyes widening when he saw Shoto standing there.

"Shoto," Katara whispered as she stood up, walking beside Tenya by her door.

"I needed to see if you were alright." Shoto stated, looking somewhat tired from his debating just now.

"I shall leave you two to talk now," Tenya quickly said and gave a light bow, patting Katara on the arm. "If you need anything, make sure you call me."

"I will. Thank you." Katara smiled as he left, sighing and shutting the door behind Shoto. "Thanks for coming by."

"I had to make sure you were okay." Shoto said as he sat beside her on the bed, earning a small shrug from Katara.

"Wish I could say I was feeling perfect." she mumbled, reaching over and grabbing his hand. "The secret is out now. I just didn't want to keep living a lie anymore."

"You are still you, Katara. Nothing about where you come from will change that no matter what." He sternly responded, squeezing her hand. "Many of them agree as well."

Katara gave a small nod. "I heard from Tenya, yes. Thank you for working with him and Midoriya in defending me."

"I told you I would do anything to help you. After everything you've done for me, I have to do the same." he declared, furrowing his brow as he thought back to everything that has happened over the last year. "After what you've gone through, I can't sit back and let you face this on your own."

The waterbender glanced over as his hand trembled slightly in her grasp, seeing the trouble on his face. It was obvious he was thinking back to what she had revealed about his brother, knowing his own family member was now obsessed with coming after both of them. And now she had revealed this bombshell to everyone. Obviously the tension for both of them were somewhat high at this point.

Not saying anything, she wrapped her arms around his torso and pulled him close, laying her head against his chest.

"Katara?" Shoto blushed slightly at her sudden act, his hands gripping her shoulders. "Are you-

"Just be quiet." Katara demanded, sighing out and closing her eyes. "I just want this right now."

Shoto's mouth hung open for a moment before sighing himself, wrapping his arms around her back and squeezing back. He could tell she simply wanted some comfort now, and he certainly couldn't deny he needed this as well. He gave several kisses to her forehead, the gesture making Katara hum in approval. She shifted closer and tilted her head up, pushing his own up and kissing him softly. Her lips pressing into his own caused Shoto to melt in her grasp, grabbing her tighter and kissing her in return.

The two continued kissing for over a minute, Katara's breath coming in small gasps as she pulled him in against her. After a moment they disconnected, the waterbender pulling him back and laying onto the bed next to him. She laid her head against his chest once more, snaking her arms around his back and hugging him tightly. Shoto himself pulled her into his body, pressing his cheek against the top of her hair and breathing in her wonderful scent. Two simply laid against one another in silence, the warmth they shared helping to push away the nagging and tormenting feelings that were plaguing both of them.

They both just laid together, not saying anything and soaking in the comfort they received for so long they simply closed their eyes, not letting go of the other. Their minds and bodies felt so comfortable they didn't even know when they fell asleep, drifting into their most comfortable sleep in quite some time.

Bakugo stared through the magnifying glass as he shifted another shard of the necklace around, sighing as he successfully found a part that fit perfectly. Grabbing the super glue with his other hand, he carefully dabbed the end and pressed the piece to the necklace. As he held it in place, he frowned at the light knock at the door. "It's open…" he said, knowing who it was.

Opening up, Kendo came into the room, her normally warm face filled with confusion. Seeing him working on the necklace again made her frown to herself. "Already working on it?"

"Why wouldn't I?" Bakugo scoffed, wiping his hand clean of glue. "Are you going to stop helping now?"

"I just…" Kendo huffed out and punched her hand in frustration. "All of this is insane! How can you just sit there and…" She shook her head and looked back at him. "You've known and still didn't say anything?"

Bakugo rolled his eyes at her comment. "And what would've changed? Would it have made it easier to swallow if I blurted it to everyone?"

Kendo was about to say something, but shut her mouth in agreement. Sitting down on his bed, she rubbed her head for a moment as she tried to process all this. After sitting and listening to the others talking in the lobby, she herself just needed time away from the debates. At least here, there was only one voice to bounce off of. "This is just so crazy to think about. She's not even from here, lied about who she was to everyone… and yet I just can't stay mad at her despite thinking I should."

"Now you sound like an idiot…" Bakugo grunted and turned back around to the broken pieces on the table. "You think you should be mad at her. And why is that?"

"Because… because she lied to us. She isn't from here and kept that from us." Kendo said, tilting her head as she heard Bakugo actually chuckle. "What?"

"Sounds like you are really searching for a reason to be pissed even though you aren't." He shifted through the pieces and found a smaller jagged piece. "Maybe she hid it because you all would've reacted like this. You got ponytail all pissed and walking away while half of the class going back and forth feeling the same way you are… trying to find something to be mad at. No wonder she kept her mouth shut."

"I…" Kendo suddenly felt her gut tighten at his words, knowing what he was saying was actually accurate. "I just don't know what to feel honestly. I thought we were such good friends, and now I-

"Ah!" Bakugo yelled as he dropped the new piece, the sharp edge slicing his finger. "Damn it…"

Seeing the blood dripping down his finger, Kendo looked over to the side and grabbed the rags sitting on his dresser. She walked over and went to wipe his hand, frowning as he pulled away before she smacked his head. "Ow, what the hell?!" he snapped, glaring up at the stern redhead.

"Quit being stubborn and let me see." Kendo demanded as she grabbed his hand, wiping it dry and seeing the slice on the end of his finger. Holding the cloth on it, she couldn't help from squeezing his hand for a moment and taking a breath. "You don't have any doubt in her, do you?" she asked.

Bakugo's frown disappeared as he looked up at her, sighing in annoyance. "Did learning she doesn't have a quirk change what you all fought through together? Has literally anything changed now between her and us now that you know she's from another place?"

Kendo sat silent as she actually thought about what he said. "I… I mean no but…" Now the redhead began replaying the times she spent in school with Katara, whether it be the many battles they got through together, or simply hanging out together and laughing at each other's stories. Now that she learned she wasn't from here, did all of the things they did together actually change now? The girl she knew as kind, brave and determined was still the same girl now, but coming from another world just seemed… different? She didn't even know if that was the right thing to think about, because even when she tried, she simply couldn't find distrust in the one she called friend now.

"No… Nothing has changed." Kendo admitted, exhaling and lying back on his bed. Staring up to the ceiling, she scratched her head and clicked her tongue. "I'll talk to her more about it when I have the chance."

Grunting, Bakugo wrapped up his finger with the cloth before going to his dresser for band aids. "I don't care where the hell she comes from. As long as she is not some damn villain, I don't care where anyone comes from." He glanced at the necklace on his desk, the pendant about three-quarters of the way completed. "She lost whatever little she had left from her place fighting that spider to get us out of there. If that isn't enough to prove her trust, I don't know what the hell will be."

Now kendo felt her gut twist at that, staring over at the necklace on the table. From the day battling the Hunters, she remembered how emotional Katara became when the necklace of hers was taken from her, and what she shouted at Iktomi. She remembered saying how it was her mothers, and she could tell that it was obvious she had passed on. Now that she had learned she had come to this world and had no way back, she understood why it was so precious to her… being the only family trinket to remember her life by. Now she understood why Bakugo was so determined to rebuild it for her.

Something that made her smile.

"You really do have a soft side to you underneath all that gruff." she joked, standing up and pitching his cheek.

"Get the hell off me!" He barked and smacked her hand away, gritting his teeth as she laughed at his reaction. "Why the hell are you so touchy lately?!"

"Because it's fun seeing your reaction. I think you'd actually faint if I cuddled up against you." She teased before realizing what she said, blushing hard and turning towards the table. Luckily for her he had turned away at her comment, growling while hiding the light redness on his own cheeks.

"Just shut up! I'm grabbing dinner!" he shouted and stomped out of his room, slamming the door behind him and leaving her alone.

Once it was quiet, Kendo exhaled and sat down in the chair, running her hand over her side ponytail. "The hell did I just say?" She forced out a laugh, playfully slapping her cheek before turning to the desk. Grabbing two different shards, she held them up to the larger portion, shifting them around until she saw they didn't match. Grabbing another, she turned it in her fingers and placed it up. Now that her thoughts on the whole situation were clear, she was certain to continue helping.

"You've helped me so many times…" She said to herself, grabbing the next shard. "I will make sure to do something in return."

The next Day

Katara groaned as she stirred from her sleep, shifting against the warmth beside her. Her eyes fluttered open and came into focus, looking to Shoto's sleeping face beside her. She smiled and gave a small kiss to his cheek, giggling internally as he mumbled in his sleep. She shifted slightly and grabbed her phone, somewhat shocked to see it was already eight in the morning.

"Good thing it's no school today…" she whispered to herself. Now that she was up she had the urge to use the bathroom, pulling out from his grip and stretching her arms. She quietly stood up from the bed to not disturb him, slipping her shoes on and opening the door, only to jump in surprise to the pink girl's fist about to knock. "Ashido?"

"H-hey…" Mina lowered her hand as she gave a small nod. "Was hoping we could chit chat a bit."

Katara now felt her heart jump slightly since she knew it was going to be about. "Yeah, we can talk." she answered.

Mina sighed and smiled. "Good, because I need…" the pink girl's words stopped when she noticed something behind Katara, shifting to the side and seeing Shoto asleep on her bed. Raising her eyebrow, she glanced back at the waterbender, unable to hold back a grin at the sight. "Did I come at a bad time?"

Rolling her eyes, Katara pushed the pink girl back and shut the door behind her. "Don't get crazy ideas."

"Uh huh…" Mina snickered as Katara closed the door behind her. "Nothing wrong with a… little alone time with your man."

"We just slept together. I-" Katara's face reddened at her word choice as Mina's mouth fell open. "I mean we… just went to sleep! Not that way!"

"Hahaha! Oh god, girl!" Mina almost buckled over in laughter at Katara's flustered face. "You really are still awkward at things like this. I love it!"

Frowning, Katara rubbed her head as she walked aside the pink girl. "I just… hmph. Just needed to rest after yesterday." She straightened her face as she looked at Mina, knowing what she needed to talk about. "How about you?"

Slowing her laughter to a stop, Mina took a breath before composing herself. "I mean… I'll be honest with you; it was a bit crazy getting that dropped on us."

"Yeah…" Katara admitted. "I just couldn't keep hiding stuff-

"So you are kicking everyone's ass with no quirk?" Mina pursed her lips and gripped her hips. "That is totally so unfair. No wonder Todoroki fell head over heels for you."

Katara's mouth fell open in surprise to Mina's sarcastic taunt, the humor obviously showing Mina was back to her usual self. "So, you aren't…?"

Mina gave a small shrug. "Am I still weirded out that you're some space traveler? Yeah. But you don't have a spaceship armada trying to vaporize us so I think you're alright."

The blank look Katara gave Mina almost made the pink girl burst out laughing once more. "Why does everyone go to me being an alien?" Katara threw her hands up in annoyance.

"Hey, you would be the hottest alien ever. Perfect for a secret infiltration of our government." Mina teased, giggling as Katara frowned and crossed her arms. "Okay okay. All jokes aside… I kinda wish I knew about this earlier."

"I know,"Katara sighed out, rubbing her arm. "It was just so much of a shock that I was afraid how you guys would take it. I didn't want to freak everyone out."

"Freak us out? I would've preferred it if I knew earlier, because now I'm gonna be bugging the shit out of you with all the questions that I got." Mina smirked before poking the surprised Katara in the forehead. "What? It's not like you turned evil and attacked us, Katara. You think I'd suddenly not wanna be friends now?"

Chuckling, Katara felt some weight fall from her shoulders at the answer she heard. "And… what about everyone else?" she asked, earning a scoff from the acid girl.

"Please. Everyone is going to be fine. Midoriya, Todoroki and Iida all made sure to help clear the air. Some are just being a bit quieter as they take it in." Mina gave her friend a friendly pat on her arm. "Just don't freak out too much. We are all here for you."

The answer Katara heard was far better than she could've hoped. While Mina was one to be quite positive to everyone, she was usually good at reading others, though. If she felt everyone was going to be alright, then it most likely was towards the truth. As much as she felt better hearing that, however, Katar was curious about the one person that she was worried about the most. "And what about Yaoyorozu?"

This was where Mina's smile faltered, reaching up and scratching her head. "Well… the girls made a little group chat after we went our ways, and everyone chatted back and forth about what was going on. By the time I fell asleep, they all seemed completely fine… but Yaomomo never responded in the group."

Frowning, Katara clicked her tongue before nodding to herself. "I'll go talk to her myself. I want to clear this up with everyone, but she especially needs to hear it from me."

Mina gave a small shrug at that answer. "You aren't the only one trying."

Izuku stood outside the door to his girlfriend's room, huffing out as he knocked once more. After he gave Momo space after she left on her own the night before, he tried calling her this morning to talk. When she didn't answer, he only hoped she was asleep and didn't hear instead of ignoring him. For the last thirty minutes however, his knocking had gone on unanswered as well, making him frown in frustration.

"Momo, please let me in," He said as he knocked once more. "I need to explain everything that happened up to now." With no answer, he knocked once more. "We have to clear this up. Please." With no answer, he turned around and leaned against the door, scratching his cheek and sighing out loud. After a moment he couldn't help but chuckle, thinking back to the first time he came to her room.

"It's kind of funny. The first time I came to your room was to talk about my own secret with you. I hope to not make this the normal thing we have to keep doing." Izuku laid his head back on the door. "I never wanted to keep anything from you, Momo. I want to tell you everything that I feel and what I think. I need you to know how special you are to me, how happy I feel to be able to be with you. I don't want you to think I wanted to not tell you this, but you need to understand why."

After a few moments of silence, his eyes widened when he heard the lock shifting on the door, stepping away and watching the door slightly open. He felt his chest tighten when he saw his girlfriend's face poking through the cracked doorway. The tired look she had made his heart ache, showing she didn't sleep well through the night. She didn't say anything as she opened the door further open, allowing him to enter. Once inside, he watched as she quietly sat back on her bed, placing her hands on her knees and stared at the ground. He followed suit and sat beside her, taking a deep breath before continuing.

"I'm sorry, Momo. I never wanted to ever keep secrets from you. That's why I came to you after Kamino and told you the truth about my quirk. I always wanted to be honest with you about me."

"And yet you kept this secret from me…" Momo quietly said, turning to look at him. Unlike last night, her eyes were filled with more pain than anger. "She kept this from me."

"She didn't want to, Momo, she really didn't," Izuku tried saying. "She didn't even mean to tell us at first, either. We only discovered after she had to use her powers to save Iida from the hero killer." He reached over and placed his hand on top of hers. "And like I said… I told you my secret because that is between us, but I had no right to tell her secret."

Momo squeezed her fist as she looked away, exhaling in frustration. "I know you may think I'm being selfish… but I just can't help this feeling, Izuku." she swallowed the lump she felt and took a breath. "Katara was one of my first friends here, and other than you, is probably one of, if not my best friend. I told both you and her everything about me and my past, and you're the only two I've told that to other than my parents. I thought we had no secrets between each other any longer, and now I just learned everything I thought I knew wasn't true."

"You can't blame her, Momo. She was afraid what would happen if others began discovering the truth about who she is." Izuku explained. "Why do you think All for One was after her during Kamino? It was because of her quirk he was trying to take. And now… he knows she doesn't have one. If others began finding out who she was, it would only bring more danger to herself and everyone around her. Just like me."

Looking up at him, Momo felt her chest tighten after hearing that. She knew Izuku had been keeping his secret of One for All from everyone this entire time, and still kept it from everyone except herself and Bakugo. He had explained it so many times in their talks he had to keep his powers silent from others because of the risk that came with it. And this was from an actual quirk, something that was natural to this place and most people had some form of it themselves. Even something like that had to be kept in the dark. The story was different for Katara, however. Far different.

She had come from an entirely different world, brought here by some inexplicable set of circumstances that stranded her here. She had a power unlike anything here, which could only bring that much more unwanted attention, both harmless and dangerous. She then remembered how the nomu in the forest was actively targeting the waterbender, or how Dabi was dead set on taking her away. She now began questioning her choice of walking out on her friend after she revealed her truth to literally everyone in the class. Now her little emotional moment only made her feel selfish.

"She doesn't have anyone left, does she?" Momo asked, her throat tightening as she looked to Izuku, "She's all alone here?"

Izuku softly smiled and squeezed her hand. "No, she isn't. She has all of us. Every one of us is here to be there for her and help her. Iida, Todoroki. Me. and you."

Now Momo felt her eyes beginning to water, realizing just how much Katara herself had to go through on her own until now. She thought she was being selfish by keeping in the dark, but she in fact was simply trying to keep herself and those around her safer from those who would actually hurt her. Even while she didn't like learning how she was kept in the dark, Momo couldn't ignore all the great times she spent in school with Katara and the others. The fun times at the beach, the battles they fought and bled through, and in fact, was a reason she was now together with Izuku. She simply couldn't stay mad any longer.

She had to be one to make it right.

The next morning

While the students began their classes, many of the staff were dealing with something else entirely. Sitting at the large staff table, Nezu tapped his fingers as he looked around at the group of staff members sitting around. Midnight, Snipe, Thirteen, Mic, Aizawa and Toshinori all remained silent, the situation that occurred the day before explained to them making them all sick to their stomachs.

"This isn't some kind of joke, is it?" Midnight asked, earning a small head shake from Nezu.

"I'm afraid not. The commission president made her point very clear." he said, looking at the others around him. "After she came yesterday, I can tell it was certainly no simple request they were making."

Aizawa scowled in anger at this news, certainly thankful he had Cementoss cover his class at the moment. "So you're telling me the commission now knows about Katara, and that they want her to be put in their custody?"

Custody may be a bit of a push," Snipe suggested, turning to the scoff coming from the vocal teacher. "You don't agree?"

"Come on, be real," Mic leaned on the table and slammed his fist down. "You know exactly what they mean by that. With everything happening, they see her as something of a threat."

"I get it is quite confusing at first. We were all shocked when we found out the truth about her, but if we try to explain it to them, we can show there is nothing to be worrying about." Midnight suggested.

"That unfortunately doesn't seem like an option," Nezu explained, sighing out. "Just speaking to her when she came yesterday, she was certainly determined to have Katara come with her under the commission's authority. Even after we talked once more in the evening, she was not budging on her opinion on the matter."

"And what are they going to do? Ask her anything different than what we did at this point?" Aizawa asked angrily, "They may be the ones that push around the rules on what we do and can teach. What I won't accept however is them deciding what to do with a kid's life."

"But what is the reason? Do they have an actual explanation for wanting her to come under the commission?" Snipe asked. "Is she considered a threat, or just because they have to figure out who she is?"

"The president did show some curiosity to where she comes from, but seems it is practically all tied to the fact of her, or should say lack of quirk." Nezu hummed as he held up the entrance exam file of Katara up, seeing the image of the water bender when she first came to his school. "Her powers are what is making them so intent on having her come in under their watch."

As the teachers continued going back and forth chatting, Toshinori clasped his hands in frustration to this entire situation. Katara was a special student, one he really respected and had come to truly care for. Even after learning the truth of her origins, he saw she was pure of heart and would do anything to help others. It didn't matter she had no quirk to explain her abilities, because she was there to be a hero like everyone else. He had grown worried since Nezu told him separately how they uncovered her truth, afraid they would find questioning on Izuku as well. Luckily for them, because Izuku actually had history in Japan, his profile was passed over , meaning One for All was still safe. Inside his mind, however, he kept hearing the cold laugh of All for One echoing through his head. The harsh words the man told him seemingly coming to light.

"You think they will let such an anomaly free in this world? Oh no… Just like how I want to find out her secret, your all honorable hero commission would test her like a lab animal, taking her apart piece by piece to figure out just what she is."

The former number one hero clenched his hands in anger to the words plaguing his mind, wishing they simply weren't true. The harsh truth however, was he knew there was a dark side to the commission he worked for. Many times when he was still in his prime, he remembered seeing times when they tried throwing their weight around to heroes to do their bidding in certain situations. He himself however wasn't one to do anything like that, choosing the freedom to go where he wanted whenever so he could be free to save anyone anywhere. With him and other high ranking heroes, they are able to push their own weight back and counter the demands trying to be put on them. But a student? What power did they have against them?

"We can't let her go," Toshinori said, glaring up from his seat. "We made a choice to keep her safe under our watch. And that means from all threats inside and out of these walls."

"I agree, but that is what concerns me now." Aizawa set the copy of the exam page down onto the table and closed his eyes. "While UA is certainly the largest school in Japan, it still relies on direct support from the commission. And that means going against their orders will only cause turmoil to the relationship that keeps this place working."

"What do you mean? That they would shut this place down if we don't follow their demand?" Midnight asked.

"Perhaps, but that would be a line even the commission would be hesitant to cross." Nezu explained. "They obviously would prefer to keep Katara's origin under wraps since it would only increase the confusion in public opinions, especially with the recent events. While students have been hurt in the attacks, civilian support for up and coming heroes has actually taken a small increase. Shutting down a school would only cause uproar from both supporters of heroes and those wanting to keep students safe."

Before anyone could reply, Nezu's earpiece rang, the mouse bear reaching up and clicking it on. "Yes Ectoplasm?"

"Sir, you told me to contact you if we have any guests…" Ectoplasm said in his ear. "... It seems they arrived early."

Turning his mic off, Ectoplam stood outside the entrance gate to UA alongside Cementoss, the pair glancing at one another before turning to the pathway. Walking down the path was the commission president, alongside three of her associates from the commission. Behind them were a group of five lower ranked heroes, the group accompanied by the now number eleven hero Yoroi Musha.

"Seems like Nezu really was telling the truth…" Cementoss muttered out, "Talk about a start to a new week."

"I've always hated Mondays…" Ectoplasm huffed in annoyance, stepping forward as the president came to a stop. "This is going to be interesting."

From her side, the president clasped her hands behind her back as she stepped forward, eyeing the two heroes standing before the gate. Grunting, she continued ahead of the others as a show of authority. "It seems I have no need to announce my arrival to Nezu." She said.

"He made it quite clear you were going to be joining us today," Cementoss responded. "And it seems you brought some guests with you."

"Let's skip the semantics here, Cementoss. I know Nezu has explained the situation to you all, and I hope this goes over smoothly." The president sternly said, her brow raising as the large gate behind the two staff opened up. Leading the group of UA staff was the former top hero himself, followed by Aizawa with Nezu perched on his shoulder. "I appreciate the welcome party, But this could've been done inside your school yourself."

"And yet you don't look like you're coming for tea," Aizawa sneered, clenching his fists inside his pockets.

"Then you know why I am here, then." The president declared. "As Nezu has explained to you, we are requesting that you turn her over to the commission."

"And I believe I made our answer quite clear in our conversations we had yesterday." Nezu smiled as he hopped down from Aizawa's shoulder to the ground. "Katara is under our responsibility, and that means her protection is our priority as well."

"Protection? You are harboring a being with abilities and powers that are unnatural in our world, something that shakes the very foundation of our world. We are imploring you to stop this choice of harboring this being and letting us take hold of her."

"You are making her sound like a villain to be arrested," Toshinori retorted, glaring at the elder woman. "How could you talk about Katara like that after everything she has gone through? She has nearly died several times fighting these villains and helping others stay safe."

"And her abilities aren't natural, All Might," The president sternly answered, "Unless we truly understand what she is, it is in the best interest that we take over observation of her and make our own determination."

Snipe looked to the six heroes behind the president, his hand instinctively wanting to reach for his revolver on his side. "And your guests you brought along? Your new security detail?"

Grunting at his sarcastic comment, the president shut her eyes. "As I said yesterday, it will go much easier if you simply follow your orders."

Aizawa glared as he looked behind the president, eyeing the group of heroes who accompanied the commission. While the others were standard lower ranked heroes, he certainly took note of the elder samurai dressed hero. "Are you here to arrest a student? Seems like something quite harsh for you."

"I am here to do my duties that are given to me," Yoroi gruffly said, "And that means doing whatever is ordered."

Aizawa growled under his breath, the old hero acting like a lap dog. He turned his attention back to the leader of the commission, gripping one of the cloths hanging down from his neck. "I know you may be claiming to do something you think is right, but I'll be the first to say this to you now; If you mean to come and take her, I will be the first to stop you."

Sighing, the president shook her head in annoyance. "I had hoped you would do what was best for everyone and make this easy, but it seems you are making this more difficult then it needs to be."

The sudden force landing on the ground in front of the commission group caused the UA staff to jump back in surprise. As the dust began to clear, the figure standing up caused many of their eyes to widen in utter shock, not expecting to see the tall white ears above the head of long white hair.

"Mirko?" Midnight muttered out, her heart jumping at the rabbit hero appearing suddenly.

"You got to be shitting me…" Ectoplasm hissed out, not expecting someone as strong as her.

As the UA staff stared at the newcomer, the president gave an internal smirk feeling the change in the air. "As I said, I would prefer this was done in an easier fashion for all of our sakes."

The other teachers standing there all suddenly felt their tension rise at the sight of the new number three hero standing before them, realizing if something did happen, they couldn't do anything; Just the speed of Mirko was above what anyone of the UA staff could deal with, able to dodge anything Snipe could shoot out or even evade Aizawa before he could activate his quirk. And strength wasn't even a contest for anyone here, with Toshinori's former strength the only staff teacher who could've stopped her. But now… he was no different than a quirkless man before the top female hero in japan.

'Why is she here? After what happened at Mount Fuji…' Toshinori yelled internally. '... She is here helping the commission now? Her of all heroes?'

The stern look on Mirko's face was one not common, only seen when she was pissed at something. She slowly walked forward, popping her neck as she approached the UA staff, eyeing them as each of them tensed to her approach. Her ear twitched as she heard the gun slide slightly in the holster from Snipe, raising her eyebrow at the man. "Let's keep that BB gun down, alright?" she grunted, eyeing the glaring eraser hero standing in front. "Looks like you've been keeping something hidden from us, huh Eraser?"

Aizawa gritted his teeth and narrowed his eyes, ready to activate his quirk at any moment. "I didn't think you'd be one to be taking orders like this, Mirko."

"Well, when I found out you had quite the secret, I had to come and see this shit myself." Cracking her knuckles, Mirko huffed out a small scoff and clicked her tongue. "And it seems I wasn't wrong in coming."

The UA staff all took a step back as the powerful hero made her way to them… but all were surprised as she walked towards her and stopped. Mirko stared at the small creature for a few moments before she exhaled. "How's she doing?"

Nezu sat quiet for a moment before smiling. "She has been doing quite well, actually. She's made a full recovery and is back in tip top shape."

"Hmph… Good." Mirko gave a small sigh before grinning. "I'll have to kick her ass if she isn't up and smacking heads by now."

Now not only did the UA staff mouths drop in surprise, but the president's eyes widened as Mirko turned around… backing up and standing beside the teachers.

"What the hell?" Midnight muttered in shock, looking over to the just as shocked Cementoss.

The president's mouth shook for a moment before she cast a stern glare. "What is the meaning of this, Mirko? You said you were here to help with the situation."

"I said I would be here with you," Mirko answered, shaking her head and crossing her arms. "I didn't say I was going to help you."

Frowning, the president clasped her hands to the sudden switch, not expecting this to happen. She made a quick look over the shift in power, now seeing they were at the disadvantage. As the heroes behind her took a step forward, she raised her hand up to stop them, exhaling in utter frustration. "You all realize the ramifications of making this choice? Don't you realize what you are doing?"

"I think we do, madam. And while we didn't have tea yet, I do have to tell you we have classes waiting to be taught. So While our talk was short, you'll have to excuse us." Nezu happily chirped.

The president felt her eye twitch at the sudden change of precedence. She took a breath and shook her head. "I think you'll come to learn this is a mistake you are making. All of you. I hope you will accept the results of this choice." turning around, the president walked back down the road, earning confused looked from all the other heroes and the commission members before they turned and followed her away. t

As they were left, the UA teachers all sat in utter confusion to the rapid change in events that just occurred, turning to the rabbit hero standing beside them.

"What the hell just happened?" Snipe asked, turning to the small principle. "Did you know about this?"

"No, I am quite surprised as well. Certainly in a good way." Nezu chuckled.

Letting his grip loosen on his neck scarf, Aizawa sighed out in annoyance. "You scared the shit out of me there, you know that?" he grumbled at Mirko, earning a laugh from the rabbit.

"Hey, I had to make it seem like I was gonna follow Boss Bitches orders. If I didn't come here, she would've got some other big shots to come here. So a thank you would work as well. Damn, I gotta say I'm starving, you guys got something to eat?" Mirko casually asked, walking towards the gate of the school.

"Wait!" Toshinori yelled as he ran beside the short woman, his eyes filled with confusion. "Why are you doing this? You know what it means…"

Mirko sighed and scratched her head, unable to hold back the grin on her face. "Trust me, I'm still confused as shit with what's going on with this girl you got here…but she saved me and everyone in that mountain, so I'm evening the score."
