A coin Flip Commenced to divide turn order. Ohsaka chose Heads, Neville chose Tails. The coin was launched into the air and soon came back down. The result was concise. It landed on heads. Meaning Ohsaka was to go first.
Ohsaka: Hmph. Lucky.
Announcer: Now then let the duel begin!
Ohsaka LP: 8000
Neville LP: 8000
The announcer proclaimed. Both Neville and Ohsaka drew their five cards, placed them in there hands and started. Ohsaka's turn soon commenced and she began without haste.
Ohsaka: I summon Mechania Flyer!
She slammed a card down on her duel disk and her monster appeared. The monster couls best be described as a triumvirate of three, A mix of Dragon, Bird and machine. It was dragon-like with its long wingspan, sharp snout and dominant demeanor. It was bird-like with its long talons and harpy-like shriek and machine-like with its metallic body.

It was summoned in defense mode.
Ohsaka: Flyer's effect! When its summoned I can summon another flyer from my hand if I have one!
Ohsaka: -And I do! So come forth, Another Mechania Flyer!
Another appeared on the field. It looked identical to its predecessor.
Ohsaka: I'll set one card face down and end my turn.
Ohsaka Turn was incredibly Basic. Only summoning two monsters and setting a face down. Perhaps she's being cautious?
Taka: Cael? Analysis?
Cael: What am I the commentator?
Taka: I suppose in a way.
I rolled my eyes at taka's response.
Cael: I suppose, Ohsaka is just playing defensive. There's no reason why you should go full on 'offensive' when you can't even attack on the first turn. Plus she apparently knows neville's playing style so she could be anticipating what he's going to do next.
I explained.
Taka: Woah… Deep analysis there bud.
Cael: Aren't you a regional champion, shouldn't you have deduced this on your own.
Taka: I-I did, I was just checking if you had!
Cael: Sure…
We soon turned our attention back to the duel where Neville was beginning his turn.
Neville: I draw!
Neville drew his card in an animalistic ways perhaps symbolizing his oneness with nature. He put his hand on his deck amd forcefully drew, His left arm swung wildly as he pulled it back from the deck and put the card in his hand.
Neville took a card from his card deck and put in it his hand.
Neville: Now then! Let our battle begin!
He said while looking at his hand. Neville then took a card and slammed it on his duel disk.
Neville: I Summon Gladiator Beast Laquari!
He screeched.
A Tiger appeared on the field, It stood upright and wore bright red armor. The beast had a menacing appearance and a scowl on its face. It also had a ring of fire surrounding it, as if to add to its tough appearance.

Neville: Now Laquari Attack! Burst Ring!
The Tiger's Ring of Fire encircled him, Lighting himself ablaze. He soon burst forward like a rocket, He moved at incredible speed towards one of ohsaka's flyer's. It hit ohsaka's flyer like a missile causing a huge explosion that destroyed the machine.
It was in defense mode so she took no damage.
Neville: Now then, this is where the fun begins.
Neville: At the end of the battle phase, Using Laquari's ability, I can summon another gladiator beast from my deck!
Ohsaka: Hmm.
Neville: Unleash Gladiator Beast Bestiari!
Laquari soon disappeared into a flash of light. A winged creature appeared on the field after this light dissipated. It was a bird or something similar to it, he had too wide wings and two large claws, presumably for brawling. He too was wearing armor, Green armor that perhaps symbolizing its connection to nature.

Neville: When He's summon I can destroy one of your spell or traps! I'll destroy your face down.
Ohsaka's facedown was hit with a whirlwind of air that quickly turned into a tornado and destroyed her face down card.
Neville: My turn comes to an end.
Neville: You won't have an easy time with my gladiator beasts. They all shuffle back Into the deck after battling. Meaning they can be swapped in and out. With an ever changing field, Strategy will become difficult.
Ohsaka: I know about gladiator beasts, But i'm more curious about why you switched your deck. You played a 'wolf' deck in your previous matches.
Neville: I had guessed you watched my previous duels and based on that, I knew you were the analytical type. So I out-analyzed you by switching up my deck and throwing you off.
Ohsaka: *Tch*
Taka: Wow, Guess he played the reverse card. Get it?
Bonnie: Hehe…
Cael: Don't laugh at that bonnie…..
Neville: -It seems like I outplayed you. You could say.
Ohsaka: Whatever.
Ohsaka simply rolled her eyes.
Neville: I never understood why some people only use one kind of deck, anyway, isn't it better to be proficient in different kinds rather than just one?
Ohsaka: …. On the other hand, just using one deck allows a person to specialize and be a master in that one kind of play rather than just being 'proficient' in many different kinds. How does the saying go - 'jack of all trades, Master of none.'
Ohsaka Clarified.
Neville: Good point.
Ohsaka Finally began her turn.
Ohsaka: I draw…..
She said.
Ohsaka: I summon Mechania Ally!
Ohsaka debuted a new monster onto the field. One which would turn this into a much more interesting duel. A card which could form a union in both body and mind with other monster. A card for which she hoped would propel her forward in this duel.
Mechania Ally was a simple monster, It was just a yellow and black box with golden sphere in its center. It had a shiny exterior which reflected the Suns golden Rays off of it like a mirror!

Neville: Ah… A union Monster. You don't see those every day.
Bonnie: Big bro, What's a union monster?
Cael: It's a monster that can equip itself to other monsters. A bit like an equip spell.
Cael: - Usually, they offer Protection or grant the other monster some sort of new ability.
I explained.
Taka: I never even knew ohsaka ran union monsters. She usually just focuses on her fusions.
Cael: Maybe they're both trying something new.
I said.
Taka: Something New is what we need after the farce of yubie's duel.
Cael: Heh.
We once again, turned our attention back to the duel.
Ohsaka: Using its union ability, I equip Mechania Ally to Mechania Flyer!
Ohsaka exclaimed.
mechanic Ally seemingly moved on its own, going towards Mechania flyer. When it was behind it, Ally Unraveled itself from a metal box, into somewhat of a harness-like armor. It latched onto mechania flyer and formed an 'X' cross on its body.
Ohsaka: Now mu monster gains 500 Attack points.

Ohsaka: No point in wasting time! Attack Mechania flyer! Solo Burst attack!
A blue light came from the machine's mouth as it screeched a mighty wail. This light later turned into a laser that pierced through the air and quickly towards the beast. In the blink of an eye, It was all over. Bestiari Was destroyed.
Neville LP: 7400
Neville: Huh. You really got there.
Neville said casually while scratching his head.
Neville: Huh….. This matchup is incredibly ironic. Nature vs Machine. It's quite poetic, isn't it?
Ohsaka: …. I agree.
Neville: As a hunter myself…. It sounds odd, but i'll pray for nature to win. A victory for nature is a victory for me.
Ohsaka: I disagree. At every step along history, Machinery has won against nature. The building of cities, The industrial revolution the technological revolution. Machines have been pushing animals and plants away since us humans made the first spear to kill animals and the first sickle to get plants. It's the natural progression of things.
Neville: You may think that, But I think there's a way for humanity and nature to co-exist without contempt.
Ohsaka: Many people have thought that. None of them ever came up with a solution.
Ohsaka relayed. What she said was deep and cold but perhaps true. This duel was symbolic of the struggle of nature vs machines, but Also of the struggle of the intrinsic vs the methodical and old vs new in a way. Regardless, they were passionate about their dueling and whatever its meaning, things were certainly about to heat up.
