AN: Hello! Last chapter we saw the morning after Daisy and Tatanga's first night together where he made her cum 3x, this chapter we will see their first meeting to discuss the affairs of the kingdom. This one is nice and short, probably one of the shortest in the story, but don't worry - chapter 4 is the longest so far ;).

After grabbing some late lunch from the dining hall, where thankfully the culinary team had opted to remain working rather than holing up in their quarters, Daisy packed up a bag of toiletry items and spare clothing. She was about to have her first official "town hall" meeting with Tatanga and wasn't sure what to expect. Just how much of a say would she have? Was he promising her the opportunity to voice her opinion and that it would also be heard? She could feel an anger grow inside her. Well, he was going to hear her side and he was going to act on it without pushback, she'd see to it no matter what. She had her people to protect. So far, Tatanga hadn't sent out any legislation or anything to her people that she was aware of, it just felt like he did because everyone had been instructed to follow his commands and completely retreated into their homes except where necessary.

Daisy walked into the throne room. The guard from earlier was gone, replaced by another who stared straight ahead and didn't react to her presence. She saw Tatanga's throne was empty, so she proceeded to his chambers. She knocked tentatively, unsure if he was actually in there. She heard his chair squeak as it slid across the floor and heard his footsteps close the gap to the door. Tatanga opened it and looked down at her.

"Good afternoon, darling," he said, his voice smooth like dark chocolate. Daisy held her chin high and made eye contact, establishing that she would not be a pushover. "Good afternoon, Tatanga." He took a step back so that she could enter, and she shrugged off her cloak as she stepped over the threshold of the doorway, dropping her bags as well. Tatanga grabbed her around the waist and closed the door behind her with his free hand before walking her back against the door. Their lips were mere centimeters apart. "I love it when you say my name." He leaned in and kissed her, his hands finding their way to her breasts and massaging them over her orange gown. Daisy pressed her hands to his chest and pushed him away. "Red."

Tatanga pulled back and looked at her with concern. "Are you alright?" Daisy kept her gaze steady. "We have business to attend to." Tatanga straightened and removed his hands. "You're right. My apologies," he said, turning back to his desk and pulling up a chair. He gestured for her to sit, which she did, before he pulled out the other chair for himself. Well, at least he was a gentleman sometimes, Daisy thought to herself snarkily, not daring to admit that his forcefulness was kind of a turn on for her. "So, what's on the agenda?"

Tatanga laid out all of the issues on hand - his castle had unfortunately blocked a path most of the incoming merchants used when bringing in produce, so they needed to find a new route for them to take and also get a communication out to them. Daisy showed him how to use their falconry system to deliver messages, and provided a detailed description as well as a map of town so that they could make an alternate path. They slowly went through a list of other concerns, and through each, Tatanga was receptive and engaged and implemented pretty much everything that she said. She didn't have to press him or anything.

When they solved the last issue, Tatanga stood up and walked over to where Daisy's cloak had been deposited. He dusted it off and held it out to her, so she went to him and allowed him to drape it over her shoulders. She couldn't help but be confused - why didn't he try to initiate anything with her? She turned around to face him.

"Alright, business is taken care of. Now, I do have dinner plans with my advisor, Katsini, but I will see you tonight as per our agreement. I'll see you to the door." He offered her his arm, and she allowed him to lead her to the main entrance. They stopped at the door and he turned to face her. "I'll see you tonight, baby," he said softly, and pressed another gentle kiss to her expectant lips. Tatanga broke the kiss and walked back into the throne room and down a hallway that branched off of it. Daisy began the walk back to her castle, confused at the PG-13 nature of their meeting. Well, it was supposed to just be business, but he did try it when he first entered. Maybe he was hurt by her rejection?

Regardless, it's not like it mattered. Both of them were holding up their ends of the bargain, and that's what mattered most. She didn't have to consider his feelings. She felt a pang of guilt for feeling like this, but she dismissed it. She got back and grabbed some soup from the dining hall and retreated to her room until it was time to head back over for whatever festivities Tatanga had in mind.

Let me know what you think :)
