Chapter 1 Black and White:A DreadFul Arrival
The night was quiet as not even a wound was heard at all but the sound of birds in the tree as they readied for the night. Though the night would be ruined by the sound of a large truck engine speeding past them as they rushed through the forest.
It scared them as they flew from their nest. The sound of this engine was Colt Truck as he narrowed his gaze driving toward a precious cargo in the back he was meant to deliver.
That cargo was an unconscious Blake Belladonna without her right arm and an injured onxyia who layed on her side. Still weeping after hearing the last words of her leader and three others were with them as they waited for their ride to be over.
A mute girl sitting their with her sister friend upset and grieving from the events today. While a cat faunus with silver eyes sat in the front with the boxer coach. They were tyring their best to make it to the next town without attracting grimm.
Colt stopped the truck for a moment making sure they were heading in the right direction. Bombay looked at a map onxyia pointed out early and they were heading to a place called they might be another hour from the town.
Then he looked in the back at his passenger as the doctor monitored their condition. He looked worried a little hoping they would make it in time.
"How are we doing doc?"Colt questioned looking through a small window to the back of the truck.
"The wolf faunus is stable for now, but the cat faunus needs help right now. We need to hurry"the doctor suggested with haste.
Colt nodded as he pressed his foot on the gas pedal and speed into their drive which was rather calm. The sound of the engine filled the forest as everyone seemed to be sadden still by todays event. Though bombay was looking out the window as she looked in the rearview mirror a pack of beowulf were coming in their direction rather fast.
"We got company!"She shouted as Neo and Yahto looked toward the front. Then they looked out the back. They saw beowolfs gaining on their tail as colt cursed himself. He hit the gas pedal as they tried to sped away with their previous cargo. Yahto got up as he turned his tomahawk into a pistol.
Neo reached for her side but she relzied her umbrella dubbed hush was damaged. Then she looked at two dual pistols in the sheer grabbing them.. She narrowed her gaze as she picked them up unholstering one. Then she primmered the hammer on them staring at them.
Bombay soon climbed out window as she hoped onto the roof of the moving truck. Then she got out one schimitar and stabbed it into the top of the truck to hold her in place. The beowulf were getting close and without gestation Yahto fired a shot at the beast to attack the grimm.
His shot connected as he tried to slow them down in their tracks. Neo lifted malice with both hands as she fired one bullet. Her body went back a little but she kept her balance. The shot connected with one beowolf as the bullet impacted it. Fire erupted from it and Neo was surrpsied.
But she narrowed her gaze as she kneeled with one knee on the ground as she fired more rounds at the beast. Onxyia was still on her side but looked over at their current problem. She slowly got up seeing the pack of beowolfs attacking them.
Up on the top of the truck Bombay fired several shots at the beowolves to slow them down. She domed one in the head as it fell backwards as it disappeared. One was getting extremely close and jumped on the side of the truck. It shook violently as the beowulf climbed on the roof to deal with the cat faunus.
It swiped at her but bombay doged it as she tumbled to the side of the truck. She pressed a button as a wire came from the blade that was in the truck roof. She hit the side of the truck hard grunting but recovered a little. Her arm felt sore after that as she rubbed it.
They started to make some good distance as they were getting closer to the town which was twenty minutes from it. But the beowolves were hot on the tails still. Colt groaned as he looked in the rearview mirror at the grimm approaching. With the others fighting them off.
Onxyia was slowly getting up as her side was in pain. She looked around noticing her glaive named divine retribution above her. Then she reached for it as her side was in pain. She cried out a small yelp as Neo and yahto quickly turned to see her.
"Stay down we got this"Yahto said as he fired off more shots.
Neo shot another shot from Zanes revolver with another shot sending her flying backwards.A black muzzle flash went off as it did. She went past onxyia as she hit the back of the truck with a loud thud. Neo gasped a little as she hit the back. It must have been a gravity dust round.
Onxyia growled as she grabbed divine tribution and with a press of a button it changed to her sniper rifle. Then she slowly pushed past Yahto as she knelt, taking aim. She flipped the sight to the sight and began firing at the beowolves pursueing them.
She pulled back the bolt as she headshoted one beowulf then another. Then she narrowed her gaze shooting the last one pursueing them. Onxyia set her rifle down as the barrel steamed smoke. She then turned to neo was balled up a little.
Onxyia glared at her but sighed walking over trying to keep her balance but the truck rocked. She was sent flying forward as she landed ontop of Neo. The doctor was trying to keep blake stable as she was barely breathing right now.
Back uptop Bombay pulled herself up to the top of the truck roof. She looked at the beowulf that was left and glared at him. Then she lifted her left hand, dumping an entire clip into it. The beast stumbled a little with each shot. Then with one finally shot it was sent flying off the truck collding on the ground tumbling to it death.
Colt noticed this and smiled"great job kid now get back in here!"colt shouted as bombay grabbed her blade and flipepd herself into the passenger side she held her right shoulder in pain as it seemed to be broken.
The boxer narrowed his gaze as he focused on now keeping up his speed as he sped toward the town. As he did in a small watchtower someone watched the truck as it sped toward the town.
The town was quiet as the buoys near the dock dinged and gently floated in the water. Everyone was closing up for the night but most importantly a small town clinic was beginning to close up. Outside the clinic a young faunus girl cleaning the front part of the clinic of any dust that was their.
The young faunus was maybe fifteen year old with medium length black hair with amber eyes. The girl had a dark skin complexion to her, and standing at around 5.7ft had a bengel tail sticking out from her back. She wore a pair of black fit jeans wtih a grey drape sleeveless cardigan with red trim. It was worn over a grey sweater that was dark wore some knee high boots that were grey in color with black laces.
Along with that she had a some earphones in as she jammed out to some music. She kept sweeping the front as she boped her head to what she was listening which sounded like a alternative rock band.
She started to swing to herself as she swept
"When you're at the end of the road and you lost all sense of control"she sang softly
"And your thoughts have taken their toll. When your mind breaks the spirit of your soul"She continued as the door to the clinic opened as an older man stood there smiling at her.
He had dark green eyes along with short brown hair that was parted to the side. He currently wearing a doctor outfit that is an open white coat that reached to his knees. Underneath he wore a green wool sweater underneath it and a pair of dark blue pants with a pair of black simpy shoes.
The girl kept singing for a bit using the broom as a microphone until she turned toward the man. Her eyes were closed but she opened them and looked at the smiling man.
He started to smile as he slowly clapped for the girl"hmm sems your done for the night. Though that was a stellar performance Aruna"he complimented the girl.
The girl felt embarrassed as she stood up straight as her tail swayed"come on dad….please don't tell mom"Aruna asked
He shook her head at this"no promises though today we weren't that busy today. But we did our part for the community"he said
"Yeah you did i'm pretty much your receptionist"Aruna replied
The man was shutting the door about to close up and a girl came running toward them sprinting.
"Wait, we got a problem!"she shouted from far away as the two looked at her.
Soon the girl came over and she seemed rather young around seventeen years old with light blue eyes and jet black hair that went down to her shoulders. She seemed have a slender and hourglass figure to her. She currently wore a olive ruffled corduroy trimemd waxed coten jacket. It had a betled wrapped around the jacket. She wore a tan t-shrit underneath it, with a pair of black jeans with light black sneakers.
"Vera whats wrong, didn't you have watchtower duty tonight?"Aruna asked
The girl caught her breath for a bit before swallowing then spoke.
"I was looking from the tower toward the main entrance of town. I saw a bunch of beowolves chasing a truck down and several gunshots came from it. They might be hurt"Vera replied
"Why would a truck be all the way out here?"the man said
"I don't know ."vera replied
However Aruna seemed to be thinking something if people were fighting off grimm.
"Wait that truck could their be people in the back injury maybe?"she asked as the two had the same thought.
"Maybe it was pretty big to transport alot of people or suppiles"she added
"Ok. be ready for them when they get here you two. I'll get things ready when they come"the man replied
Vera nodded as she went to grab a lantern close by. Then she turned the knob as the lantern lit brightly where they were illuminated by it. She saw a horse nearby and rushed to it. The girl quickly jumped on and saddled herself on it.
Then once she was strapped on she smacked the backside of the horse as it reared it legs. Then she took the rope around the horse and guided it toward the group.
"Seems your job isn't done dad"aruna said
"It's never easy but it's my passion"he replied as he went back inside while Aruna waited for Vera to return with the others.
Colt was driving a little faster to the town but the doctor in the back had troubling news.
"We need to get their soon isn't looking good"she said which made colt worry. Bombay groaned as her right shoulder was dislocated. The impact from the truck knocked it out of socket it seems.
"Dammit we gotta their now"colt said as he tried to look down the road ahead. As he did he noticed a bright light approaching them and he narrowed his gaze. Then he saw a girl on a horse with a lantern.
She came in fast as she passed them then in his rearview mirror. The girl quickly pivoted her hips and moved the lead to turn the horse around. Then she got close to the driver side door looking at him.
"Are you alright?"she quickly asked as she gallopped near the truck window
Colt was confused who she was but quickly replied"we got wounded, is their a doctor by the name of Verde Khan here!?"he shouted.
The girl looked at him as she nodded"follow me, his clinic is close to the middle of town"she said as she whipped the lead as the horse nayed. As it picked up pace leading them to town. Colt was hot on her trail following her.
After about ten minutes Vera lead the group to the clinic as she went to the nearby stables. She quickly tied the horse to it as she rushed to help aruna carrie the injured in. As Colt parked the truck he opened his door as she rushed to the back.
Bombay opened her door as she spilled out and vera saw her fall to the ground. She looked at her shoulder with her bone bulging underneath the skin. The girls eyes widden as she rushed over helping the cat faunus to the clinic door.
She handed her off to her father who brought her inside.
Aruna rushed to the back with colt as he opened the truck bed. Neo and Yahto jumped out as the doctor in the back slowly brought Blake out on a stretcher. Yahto grabbed her and the two began carrying her inside.
Aruna's eyes went wide at seeing the cat faunus, like she knew her.
"Blake?!"she shouted shocked at the cat faunus being here. But then she looked down further as her face sank, seeing her missing an she could question anything another voice called out to her.
"A-runa"onxyia said as she weakly walked out before stumbling as she carried something. It was a sheet wrapped around something. It looked to be weapons maybe judging by the pointed end poking near it
But as Onxyia walked she felt weak from losing too much blood early. She tried to keep herself up by one step and her ankle twisted a little. She fell forward as she dropped the sheet onto the contents spilled out as a pair of dual swords, revolver and a katana sheathed spilled out. They clattered to the ground and the metal collided with each other.
The mute quickly saw this as she started to place them back on the sheet. Onxyia fell out as colt caught the wolf faunus. Her side was in pain as she had a sadden expression on her face. Along with her eyes being red from crying maybe.
"Onxyia….what–"Aruna asked but colt shook his head telling her not right now. She stopped nodding as she helped the two carry her inside. Onxyia didn't know what was happening but soon she lost consciousness. But before that she heard a familiar man's voice with worry in his voice.
Blake wasn't sure how long she was out but the last thing she recalled was protecting onxyia from adam but everything else was a blur. She heard crying as she saw onxyia crying but then she passed out again before relizing anything.
Soon enough she slowly came to her sense little by little as she slowly opened her eyes but was immediately met with a bright light from the sun as her eyes slowly adjusted from the brightness.
But other than that she could feel her sense of smell come back to her as she smelled someone familiar to her. Then her hearing slowly came back to to and she heard nothing as it was quiet. She looked around the room she was in noticing that it was some kind of hospital room although it was small.
She looked up noticing her left arm had an iv drip as she saw the iv drip slowly.
Blake looked herself over and noticed she wore a long green colored gown but something was missin. She looked to her right and noticed the sleeve was empty which meant one thing. She slowly felt her right forearm but their was nothing their and her assumption was right. Her entire arm was gone as she layed back down on her bed.
Soon the door opened to revela a man who she recoginzied with another man who she sort of recalled.
"Ah Blake your finally awake dear. You've lost some blood but we managed to stop it right now. Though that doctor seemed in a rush to stablize you."the man said
"Hey we were trying to escape a city of grimm. Give us a break"Colt added with the doctor chuckling.
"Whough we had to give you a transfusion as well to be saved so that your aura could heal properly. Luckily that cut was clean and we replaced your bandages. How are you feeling dear?"the man asked
"Honestly a little tired and…"blake started as something popped into her mind.
"Wait wheres onxyia? Is she okay?"blake asked
The man raised his hand for assurance"shes fine. She had a deep cut on her side that punctured her kidneys almost. But they missed luckily, though she'll have another scar on her hip like that burn scar. She just needs rest for a couple days"Verde replied but their was something else
"Though she seems depressed, is everything alright?"Verde asked as colt looked away from the two.
"Umm I'm relieved she's alright but I honestly don't know. Everything is a blur. "Blake replied relived Onxyia was alright but why is she sad. She couldn't recall exactly what happened at Vale, since adam took her arm she was barely conscious.
"Though that other cat faunus with you had a dislcoated shoulder. We had to relocate and luckily there was no infection. We did surgery relocating it and she will be in a sling for a few days for her aura to heal it. Though their resting right now something you should doing"Verde replied
"I could, but could I see Onxyia right now? She was crying after we left"blake asked
Verde nodded as she went to the other side of the bed as Blake flipped over the sheet. Colt was close by helping the girl carrying her princess style. Then he gently placed her in the wheelchair. Verde grabbed the iv drip as they wheeled their way out of blake room.
"Are we in dryshore?"blake questioned looking around in the familiar hall.
"Yep, our lovely little town by the port. Though it's been a few years since your last visit. My wife will be happy to see you awake. She in Onxyia room with her checking on her. Along with another girl."verde replied
"Another girl who is he talking about?"blake thought as they approached one of the rooms.
"She's in here with Sienna. Though she has been…refusing to talk for a bit it seems. She seems to have lost someone close"verde replied as he opened the door to reveal Onxyia their burying her face in her knees. She wore the same outfit as blake.
In a chair next to her was neo as she looked down. Next to her was a table with a tablecloth sheet. Along with a cat faunus girl in the same gown as her with an arm sling
Though another woman was familiar to an older faunus women around her mid thirties with amber eyes and a dark skin complexion with wild chin length hair with an asymmetrical bob style. On her head was a pair of bengel tiger ears along with numerous tattoos that resemble tiger stripes all along her body. On her head was tiger ears she wears two studded earring with three on the right and one on the left.
Her attire consisted of a form fitting dark sleeveless top with white trim with the top having a large diamond cut out of the back exposing most of her back accompanied by smaller diamond shaped cut out just above her breasts. A pair of white pants that were partially visible under her gray low heeled high boots with a large cutouts on the thighs, a large light gray diamond detailing around the knees. She wears a gray waist cincher with red trim that had a black golden buckled belt over it fastned with a gray pouch on her right hip.
But her belly bulged a little suggesting she was pregannt. She looked maybe nine months pregnant.
The bengel faunus looked over as she sat near the wolfs faunus bed. She smiled a little at the girl.
"Blake…you're awake that great. Are you alright dear"The bengel faunus asked
Blake looked at her missing right arm as she looked a little depressed. Then she looked at the bengel faunus slowly shaking her head no.
The women gently nodded as Verde wheeled Blake in while colt stayed outside. The room was a little crowded and he was too musculy, along with being quite tall.
Blake looked at onxyia who was crying still as she buried her face into her sheets. She held something in her right hand but Blake couldn't see it. But she wondered what is was that she held onto.
"Onxyia are you feeling alright?"blake asked softly
Onxyia slowly raised her head as her eyes were red and tears streamed down her face. She hicked a little before burying her face into her knees again. The wolf wailed a little with muffled sobs.
Blake looked toward Neo who had a sadden expression on her girl was looking down at her scroll. She wondered what exactly happen during the attack at Vale and Beacon.
Then from the halls they could hear someone running on the wooden floor. Colt looked down the hall as two girl rushed down the hall. Soon enough they reached the door panting. It was Aruna and Vera who seemed like they sprinted across town
"Aruna your suppose–"verde began but the girl stopped him.
"Dad, you gotta see this. It's Beacon Academy and Vale,"Aruna said as the group looked at the two confused. Vera pulled out her scroll out to the group.
It was a live news report.
"This is Lisa Lavender coming to you live from what remains of Beacon Academy. A once prestigious academy turn to nothing but rubble and ashe. No one knows the reason behind the attacks but some are speculating this attack was caused by the White Fang. they managed to get control of Atlas tech that was suppose to protect the academy and the city. "Lisa begun.
The bengel faunus clenched her fist at the mention of the white fang as she narrowed her gaze. She seemed anger at what she was hearing with regret over her face. Which suggested she had a connection to this group.
"But beside that the death count is unknown but we know among the dead is the former Headmaster Ozpin and the champion of Sanctum Academy Pyrrha Nikos. But beside that their was the appearance of part grimm part human hybrids. Reports say their are thirteen of them in total. One such being a student at Beacon Academy. "Lisa said as the scroll flashed a picture of Zane on there.
Blake's eyes sunk a little as she saw the leader and boyfriend of her friend's team. They're on the news getting slandered right with hearing Pyrrha dying which meant she lost a friend.
"The student made it to the final round of the tournament. His team won the tournament but when the match was over. He brutally stabbed and murdered Penny Polidina. An Atlas automaton soldier that resembled a little girl. Though the current and new headmistrees Glynda Goodwitch has made a comment on how to move forward yet. We only hope that this student and his fellow hybrids will be stopped,Lisa Lavender Channel 9 news"lisa said as the news report finished.
Onxyia got quiet as she gripped the sheets of her blanket. Blake stared at the news report taken aback by it. Beacon was gone and so was Vale. Everything was destroyed but some part of her thought it wasn't just the White Fang involved. Though Zane must be on the run right now or something hiding from the authorities. Though she is rather concerned about Yang and the others were okay since she was uncocnious for most of the trip.
"Hm…no wonder the town has been busy lately. They're worried about grimm attacking the city along with those knights. Their has been some ships flying overhead. Must be evacuating the town as quickly as possible"verde replied
Aruna nodded"yeah I saw that while getting some stuff early. But we should get extra supplies and maybe check on auntie and uncle"aruna said
"Yeah but seriously I can't believe that thing was going to your guys school"Vera said as Onxyia's ears twithced.
She looked up from her bed glaring at her"Don't call him that, you don't know him at all"she growled with malice in her voice at girl.
The girl looked at wondering what was up with her as Blake softened her gaze looking at Onxyia. It was an udnrstable reaction her and him have been through much together.
"Hey chill out was he your friend or something?"Vera asked, a little annoyed at the wolf wondering what was up with her.
Onxyia growled"He was my leader and my….my….boyfriend"She said those last word with a sadness in her throat. Neo stared at the ground as she looked at her heart necklace. She bawled her knees up hugging everyone in the room got silent looking at the wolf faunus.
Blake wondered what happen as she looked at Onxyia right hand. Something peaked from underneath her figures and it shined in the sunlight. Upon further inspection she relized it was Zanes necklace.
'`Onxyia…why do you have zanes necklace?"Blake questioned.
The bengel faunus relized something bad was going on and looked toward Aruna and Vera. The two seemed a little confused by this and the cat faunus in the sling sat to the side looking out the window as her tail swayed.
"Vera and Aruna stepp out for a second. Then go with your father dear to get some supplies"The women asked with a soft tone.
Aruna nodded"alright mom yell if you need anything."aruna said walking off.
"I'll…go with her Sienna"vera said leaving the group as Colt waited for Bombay to leave the room. The group needed some privacy and she didn't want to bother them. Then he closed the door leaving the group.
The bengel faunus known as Sienna walked over to Onxyia as she took one of the wolfs hands. Onxyia looked up crying still as the women gripped her hand gently like a mother.
"Dear what happened, are you alright?"Sienna asked as their eye met. Black and yellow meet amber eyes as they stared at each other.
Onxyia shook her head as Blake stared at her friend with worry. What happened while she was knocked looked at the cat faunus as she pulled out her scroll. Then as she tapped on it her finger shook a little not wanting to click what was next.
She didn't show them yet waiting until Onxyia spoke or told Blake it seems.
"Onxyia…is everything alright did something happen to the others?"blake questioned with a worried look. But as she tried to move she felt a little weak.
"I don't know where Rogue or Eria is, vel I don't know either but….Zane…he…he…he"onxyia began as she cired hypventalating a girl didn't wanna finish the sentence it seems while she took rapid breaths. Blake looked worried as Onxyia gripped sienna hand tightly. Verda looked a little concerned as he noticed Neo shaking trying not to cry.
"Dear is everything alright?"he asked the mute who looked at him. Then she slowly brought her scroll to him as he took it. He looked confused as a play button was on it, for a video. Verde clicked the button as a video played on the scroll with curiosity.
Soon a voice came out of it familiar to Blake.
"Hey guys its me the lovable joksteer of Team ZERO and leader of said team. You may be wondering why I'm sending you this message. Dammit this is going to be tough"Zane voice echoed as she heard a sigh and deep breath.
Blake was confused as they listened to the video. But Onxyia shook her head as more tear came from her eyes . While Neo sat their frowning listening to is there a message from Zane.
"You see after today with what….I did to Penny. I couldn't stop thinking about what I did to her. I felt…guilt, shame, regret and fear at the same time. I have her blood on my hands….and everytime I close my eyes now I see her bloody dead lifeless body"Zane echoed with regret in his voice.
"So the reason I'm sending this message to you all is because I don't…deserve to be your friend or someone special to one of you"Zane's voice echoed as Onxyia began crying again. Sienna softing her gaze and placing her other hand over Onxyia hand she held.
Blake slowly relized something wasn't right and didn't want to hear the rest of the message but it kept going. With her hearing what sounded like Zane like it was his last will and testament
"Everytime i'm in that form….my mind isn't right. I…lose control…and everytime I turn into that monstrous form. I almost killed someone…and now that it finally happened…..i'm scared. If that happens again I'm scared… I could kill one of you"Zane voice continued as zane shifted to his slasher then titan form. Then he grabbed his side in pain coughing.
Verde was confused as he was a little intrigued listening to it. But at the same time a dreadful look came on his face. He looked toward Sienna who studied his gaze with a worried expression. She sighed as she tried to comfort the wolf faunus.
"That's why….i'm staying in Vale. I helped cause this mess, might as well help fix it. You may think I'm coming back…but I won't be. I know….I know you're all going to try and save my ugly mugg from dying. "Zane's voice echoed, sounding scared with labored with a coughing fit being heard.
Verde eyes went a little wide as he saw blood but he didn't rely that information. Onxyia knew what happened and she just sat their upset at hearing this again.
"But don't….just leave me to do something right for once. Although I guess I won that bet mom…I don't gotta run around remnant naked. Though if you were watching you saw what they did to me there. They…tore something out of me..or put something in their.I might as well get more secrets out…i've tried to off myself several times before this. To end this cycle of pain….or prevent me from killing someone due to that bastard watts controling me"zane voice echoed as they kept listening.
It felt like this was going on for minutes even as Blake didn't like the sound of what she was hearing. Sienna raised an eyebrow at the mention of sucide which didn't sound looked toward the group wondering exactly happened in Beacon and Vale.
In the hall Aruna,Vera, bombay and Colt waited outside for them. But they could hear the message on the other side play door wasn't that thick so they heard slowly covered his eyes shaking his head as a few tears escape the boxers eyes.
Aruna looked a little worried about her two cousins in their. While Vera soften her gaze as she crossed her arms looking at the ground.
Bombay rubbed her arm looking at her scroll for any messages from her teammates. While Colt tried to keep a stoic face but he had a sadden expression on his face. He would have to Nadia what happened to her son.
"Though I gotta apolgize to three people, especially with some words of wisdom. Eria, watch out for your sister out there. Also in my opinion you're always the cool and level headed one of the team. You don't show it but…I know you care for us. You'll be a great leader in my steed"Zane voice echoed
"Then their Rogue, our genius tinker of the group. Keep working on those inventions of yours. You may act dumb sometimes but you're really smart. I was glad to be your partner on our team. Then last but not least Onxyia or wolfie. "Zane echoed with saddness
Onxyia didn't wanna hear the last part again as she covered her ears. She took the pillow behind her back as she buried her face into it. Her ears flopped over her head. The girl held it tight to her head alost suffocating herself even.
Neo had a few tears on her face as the message was getting close to the end.
Blake looked at them worried it seems because this sounds like he never wanted to come meant the worst has probably happened.
"Wolfie..bun… I'm sorry I gotta do this to you. But you seem to be the one person on our team to always try to look toward the positives. Even though you've lost your cool sometimes it's understandable. Though that night…when you said yes to the dance made me the happiest person 't hide that little gem of yours and be…true to yourself about your please help velvet protect each other alright. Blake looked over at Onxyia who was ugly crying into her pilliow. From what she heard in that message it sounded something bad happened to him. Which made her slowly piece it together. She looked over at Neo who was crying, Neo noticed this.
Then she sniffed as she undid the sheet and as she did Blake eyes went wide. Their in the sheet was two falacata swords, two dual revolvers, a katana sheathed. All of them zanes weapon as she looked back at Onxyia.
"Oh no…Onxyia…did..he?"blake asked relizing why she was crying. Zane went back into the city to help others. But he probably made it out the news and said he wasn't dead.
Onxyia looked up at her finally speaking again"I-I managed to call him finally. Then…I heard him start saying he was sorry. He sounded like he could hardly breath…then his last words were that he was sorry then–"Onxyia begun as she shook her head crying more.
The cat faunus relizied what she meant by that as she looked at her friend with a sorrowful look. She wheeled over to reach out to her but she shuffled away. She backed up into her bed crying still.
Sienna looked toward Blake who let a few tears escape knowing what she meant by covered her mouth looking at her friend. That he died while talking to her. She must be going through something terrible. But she also wondered what happened to her teammates and yang.
"Look dear, do you want us to give you some space?"Sienna asked. Onxyia looked up, giving a gentle nod to the tiger faunus. She smiled as she motioned for Verde to wheel Blake out. Neo also took notice of this as she wrapped zanes weapons up following them out of the room.
They closed the door for the crying wolf faunus to be alone.
As they did they looked at the small group outside. Though Blake saw someone else with them this time that being Yahto. He was looking down at the ground, sad a little. She recalled him being a friend of Lazuli and was apart of her crew.
Sienna looked at Blake who just had a thousand mile stare it seems. She walked over kneeling to the girl and embraced her. Blake sat there before returning it.
"She'll be alright dear, she just needs time. Though right now their are other matters at hand"sienna pointed out.
"Yes, I need to head into town to grab supplies. Vera, would you care to join me. It will help to give them some space. It may be an hour"Verda asked
"Of course sir"vera responded as yahto gave a gentle nod. The three then left to grab supplies while Blake stared down.
Sienna let the girl go as she looked at her"why don't we get you back to your room dear. You can rest and once you two feel better you can stay at our house"Sienna reassured.
"Excuse ma'am when will the ferry be arriving here?"Colt questioned.
"It'll be about a few weeks at most I think. With all the ships and airship coming in. It'll be a bit before we can use the ferry. Do you need to go somewhere?"Aruna asked colt who stood their frozen.
He took a deep breath as he looked at Neo. Colt looked at her with sadness and she returned it.
"I have to tell a good friend…she lost her son again. Along with helping her through the grief again."Colt said with regret in his voice. Aruna looked down regretting asking him that sighed as she looked at the group. Then she gave a small smile.
"Our house is big enough for you. Although a few of you wil need to room with each other. I hope you don't mind sharing a bed."Sienna said to blake and bombay.
Aruna decided to wheel blake to her room while Bombay slowly walked back to her. The silver eyed cat faunus opened her door as she went in and layed down in her bed.
The tiger faunus looked at Blake who still seemed to not believe what she was hearing it seems. They got back to her room as Blake got close to her bed she gentle sat on the bed.
And with some help from Aruna she lifted her legs onto her bed. They didn't work that well right now. Aruna helped get some sheets on Blake as she layed on her side. Aruna looked at her cousin sighing.
"I'll be nearby if you need anything"Aruna replied as she left Blake to relax. Blake looked at the small dresser near her bed and noticed that her scroll was sitting their untouched but the problem was it was on her right sdie. It wouldn't be that much of an issue if she had her right arm but not that she doenst think it'll be an issue.
She wanted to grab it so she could try and call or text her teammates. But she tried to reach for her although the iv drip held her back. If she didn't have this in it would be simple to grab it. Though as reached for it while dragging the iv drip. The finally grabbed it after several frustrating attempt.
As she picked up with her good hand a thought crossed the cat faunus mind. Her ears twitched a little as she relzied how exactly she was going to type or call with one arm. She sighed frustrated as she tossed her scroll to the desk but it fell claking to the ground.
Blake sighed as she layed her head back on her pillow not caring right now about her fallen scroll. She decided to get some much needed rest and hoped Onxyia was doing she slowly drifted off into a deep sleep to recover.
This concludes this chapter with the introduction of sienna khan and her family. The charaters known as aruna, verde and vera are my own OC's. But dryshore isn't in the cannon I wanted a sea town for the first part of this volume, its made up. Along with that it seems everyone is struggling with their own trauma now.
