Jade: Terror on Cupcake Street

After Cat had swallowed her house key, Jade drove over to Beck's RV, not that she really minded staying with him for the night. Her mom was on a business trip and her brother stayed over at a friend's house. Sure, she could ask her brother to give her his key, but then again spending the night with her boyfriend in her second home sounded more appealing. Beck had missed school today due to an audition, but he was already home when she knocked on his door. Smiling, he greeted her with a kiss and let her in. When he asked her about her day and she told him about the parade he nodded.

"I know about that. Tori texted me about it and asked me if I want to come as well. It's going to be on national TV."

Jade hadn't known that, but to be fair she had left Sikowitz's classroom before he could explain further. She hated parades, but now that she considered this new information, she would come with the group and their crazy teacher to that parade. They all worked together on the cupcake, but when Cat gave them their costumes Jade found herself annoyed. Was the possibility that someone would see them on national TV and cast them for a movie really worth all this?

In the end she regret the decision to come to this parade when she found herself in a ridiculous outfit in a huge cupcake in a dark street. That Sikowitz was the one to get help was the only reasonable decision, seeing that he was the only adult, even though he often didn't act like it. However when he didn't come back someone had to search for him and Jade wasn't happy that this someone should be Beck. Andre would be with him, but in these ridiculous outfits they were surely in danger when they would go outside like this. While everyone was focused on Andre having enough of Robbie's PearPad, Jade pulled her boyfriend aside.

"I still think that Vega should search for Sikowitz." It was her way of telling him that she was worried about him and didn't want him to go. Beck knew what she was trying to tell him.

"We'll be alright." He reassured her, but Jade saw that he wasn't as confident as he tried to sound.

"Just be careful." Jade whispered and kissed him softly.

When Beck and Andre didn't come back after half an hour she told Tori to search for them. She was now really worried about her boyfriend and even a little about Andre. Tori protested, but in the end left the cupcake in search of the guys. The moment when Beck entered the cupcake, looking a little bit disheveled but alright, she felt relieved until the guys asked where Tori was.

In the end Tori found a few guys that helped them fix the cupcake and even joined them on their way to the parade. One of these guys sat down next to her and even lay his arm around her and she just felt uncomfortable. This was all Sikowitz's fault and he wasn't even here. She had hated parades before but now she absolutely despised them. Why did they always end up in situations like this when Sikowitz was involved?

Beck: Terror on Cupcake Street

He should have known that everything that Sikowitz planned turned out to end in a strange situation and this was no exception. It had all begun with Sikowitz wanting to impress his new girlfriend with a float for a parade and now they were on their way to it in a huge cupcake with guys that Beck was sure could hurt them easily. Tori seemed to have no problem with them, but one of the guys was too close to Jade for his liking. When Beck turned around to look at his friends, while he waited in front of a traffic light, he saw that the guy now had his arm around Jade and she looked uncomfortable with the whole situation.

Seeing that, Beck decided that this was enough. After he had found out that his best friend had feelings for his girlfriend, Beck found himself even more protective of Jade and this guy was way too close to her. Even if Jade wore one of this ridiculous costumes, that Cat had made, she still looked beautiful and Beck was sure that this guy was thinking that as well.

Gesturing for Andre to come over, Beck asked him if he could drive for a while. His best friend shrugged and agreed. With a determined look on his face Beck walked over to Jade and offered her his hand. Without hesitation she took it and he sat down with her on the other side of the cupcake. Beck made sure that she was sitting as close to him as possible and she immediately lay her legs in his lap and snuggled closer to him.

"You okay?" He whispered quietly.

Jade only nodded and Beck knew that she would never admit that she had been scared for a moment back then, but the relieved look on her face when he had come over to her had told him that. After everything that had happened so far, Beck wanted his girlfriend by his side to make sure that she was safe. Jade seemed to feel the same way, because for once she let him be protective of her without protest.

After two hours of driving Andre asked him if he could drive again, but Beck hesitated. Of course it was only fair that they took turns in driving, but he was reluctant to leave Jade by herself. Sure, the others were around, but Tori seemed to get along great with these guys and Robbie and Cat weren't aware of any danger. Sighing Beck stood up and gave Jade a reassuring kiss before he walked over to Andre. After he ha taken his place behind the steering wheel, he gestured for Andre to come closer so only he was able to hear his next words.

"Keep an eye on Jade for me, will you?"

"Of course, man. Trust me nothing will happen to her."

Beck did trust Andre, after all he seemed to care a great deal for Jade if he had even feelings for her. Seeing his best friend sit down so close to his girlfriend still made him a little bit jealous, but he trusted Andre. Jade didn't seem to mind his company, but didn't look up from her phone until Cat joined them on that side of the cupcake. If Jade would ever find out that he had told Andre to keep her safe, she would probably be angry at him and tell him that she could take care of herself, but Beck couldn't push the picture of her next to that guy out of his head. She had looked uncomfortable and small next to that guy and it had worried him. He would make sure that she was safe. If that made him overprotective of her that was alright.

Two hours later they finally arrived at their destination. When the parade was about to start Jade left the cupcake and told them that she didn't want to look like this on national TV. Beck smiled slightly and followed her outside. Thankfully they still wore their normal clothes under the costumes, so they changed. They found a small spot on the side and watched the parade in the crowd. Beck knew that Jade hated parades, but she seemed to enjoy watching the others embarrass themselves on top of the cupcake. Halfway through the parade Sikowitz joined them with who Beck assumed was his new girlfriend and told them that he had almost been arrested by the police because of a misunderstanding.

"And you're seriously surprised by that?" Jade smirked at their teacher.

Beck smiled slightly at his girlfriend's comment and embraced her from behind, while the parade continued. After a while he leaned down to kiss her softly. In the end everything that Sikowitz planned turned out strange, but as long as he could share these situations with Jade it was okay.
