Chapter 2: Kanga Games

One evening, Mew and her friends have finally reached their destination. They've found a place to stay in an area that is a forest area covered in snow.

"We finally made it," Brock says.

Misty shivers, "Brrr. It's freezing out here."

"It's so cold out here," Tomo says.

"Yeah. We better get inside and get warm," Mew says.

"Pika," (I agree.) Pikachu says.

"Eevee Vee," (Let's hurry inside.) Eevee says.

The group then hurries inside to get warm.

Later that night, Mew and her friends and their Pokemon are fast asleep while outside begins to snow.

The next day, the sun is shining bright, and the Pokemon Center cabin is silent. Mew and her friends are fast asleep in bed. Climbing out of the sleeping beds are Pikachu and Eevee. They both climb out as they let out a yawn. Pikachu suddenly notices something outside and hurries over. He hops on a table and looks outside the window.

"Pika!" (Wow!) Pikachu says in astonishment.

Eevee soon follows after and is amazed to see a wonderful sight.

Through the window, the forest and the mountain area have been covered in a large blanket of snow.

"Pika Pika!" (It snowed! It snowed!) Pikachu says, excited.

Then Eevee says, "Eevee Eevee!" (Let's go check it out!)

Pikachu and Eevee hurry to the door to check out the snow. Pikachu soon begins to open the door.

Meanwhile, the other Pokemon begin to wake up: Togepi, Pichu, Bulbasaur, Squirtle, Vulpix, Geodude, Meloetta, Skwovet, and Psyduck.

Pikachu rushes out as he calls out, "Pikachu!" (Come on, everyone!)

"Eevee Eevee!" (Let's go outside!) Eevee says and follows Pikachu.

Soon, the Pokemon peek out through the entrance. Psyduck ends up falling on everyone, causing them to fall over. Soon, everyone is amazed to see the snow.

Pikachu calls out, "Pika!" (Come on!)

"Eevee!" (Let's play!) Eevee calls out.

With that, all the Pokemon hurry outside to play in the snow. Psyduck ends up falling on his face. Soon, everyone begins to play in the snow. Soon, Onix comes over, and some snow falls on Pikachu.

Sometime later, Pikachu, Eevee, Togepi and Pichu begin to walk in the snow. Togepi and Pichu see their footprints in the snow. They happily move around and make footprints. Togepi and Pichu hurry off to have fun when they come across some footprints.

"Toge Togep?" (What made these?) Togepi asks.

"Pichu?" (What made them?) Pichu asks.

"Pika Pika Ka Ka," (These are Squirtle Footprints.) Piakchu says imitating Squirtle.

Togepi and Pichu turn their heads to see that the footprints are indeed Squirtles. He's with Bulbasaur and Onix.

Soon, Pichu notices something and rushes over. The others soon see prints of Psyduck's face. They look ahead to see Psyduck is pressing his face on the snow. Geodude and Psyduck are confused.

Then Togepi and Pichu find a print on the floor, it looks like a snow angel, with long hair.

"Eevee Eevee," (It must be Meloetta.) Eevee says.

The group soon look to see Meloetta lying her back on the snow and is making a snow angel with her arms and legs. Skwovet simply watches and is relaxed.

Soon, Togepi and Pichu hurry off to find more prints. However, they soon notice themselves standing in a large footprint that's bigger than they are. They soon notice more footprints and the baby Pokemon begin to follow to see where they go.

"Pika!" (Togepi!) Piakchu cries out.

As Eevee calls out, "Eevee!" (Pichu!)

Soon, the two Pokemon chase after the little ones.

Luckily they're able to catch up.

"Pi Pi Pi!" (Guys, wait up!) Pikachu calls out.

The two little Pokemon stop to see the older Pokemon arriving.

Eevee says, "Eevee Eevee Eevee." (You can't go running like that.)

Just then, the source of the giant footprints arrived on the scene. The four turn their heads and look up to see the source of the prints… Tomo's Mama Kangaskhan.

"Kangaskhan," (Hello everyone.) Mama Kagaskhan says.

Pikachu happily says, "Pika Pika." (Hi Mama Kangaskhan.)

"Eevee." (Hello.) Eevee says.

Even Togepi and Pichu happily say hello.

Then Mama Kangaskhan pats her pouch and says, "Khan Khan." (Come on out, little one.)

Soon, little Baby Kangaskhan climbs up and peeks out the pouch.

The Pokemon replies, "Hi Baby Kangaskhan."

"Kanga Kangaskhan?" (Would you mind letting my baby play with you?) Mama Kangaskhan asks.

The four Pokemon answers, (Okay.)

"Kangaskhan," (Thank you.) Mama Kangaskhan says.

Then turns to her baby, "Khan Khan Khan." (Come on and play little one.)

"Kanga," (No thank you.) Baby Kangaskhan says and hides in the pouch.

Mama Kangaskhan scratches her head sheepishly, seeing her baby is shy. The Pokemon simply smiles, letting Baby Kangaskhan know that it's okay. Suddenly, a snowball lands in front of the group. Baby Kangaskhan becomes curious and peeks out.

Everyone turns their heads to see the other Pokemon are having a snowball fight. Squirtle throws a snowball and it hits a tree. Then Bulbasaur throws a snowball, hitting Squirtle right in the face.

Baby Kangaskhan smiles and keeps out more. Mama Kangaskhan picks her baby out of the pouch and places the baby on the ground. Baby Kangaskhan nervously hides behind her mama.

"Pika." (Don't be shy.) Pikacu says.

"Eevee." (Play with us.) Eevee says.

Baby Kangaskhan peeks out, but ends up getting hit by a snowball.

"Squirtle Squirtle Squirtle. Squirtle." (Come on, we're having a snowball fight. Come play with us.) Squritle says.

But Baby Kangaskhan refuses, "Kanga." (No.) and hides behind her mama.)

"Squirtle?" (Huh?) Squritle says, confused.

Then Squirtle calls out, "Squirtle Squirtle Squirtle." (Don't worry, it's really fun.)

Baby Kangaskhan peeks out.

Soon, Pikachu walks over, "Pika Pika." (He's right, it's fun.)

"Kanga?" (Really?) Baby Kangaskhan asks.

Then he presents the snowball in his paws, "Pika. Pika." (Here you go. Try it.)

Suddenly, Pikachu is hit by a snowball from Squirtle. The other Pokemon begin laughing. Pikachu is shocked to see that he's been hit. Baby Kangaskhan smiles and begins laughing.

Pikachu shakes the snow off of him and angrily turns to the others, "Pika Pika…!" (Why you little…!"

Baby Kangaskhan grabs the snowball and throws it at them. Squirtle and Bulbasaur duck their heads and run off laughing. Soon, Pikachu, Eevee, Togepi, Pichu, and Baby Kangaskhan hurry off to battle with snowballs.

Upon entering the field, Pikachu is hit in the face by Squritle, and the turtle Pokemon begin laughing. Then Squirtle ends up having a face covered in snow. And with that, everyone begins to play snowballs, throwing snowballs at once another. Pikachu, Eevee, Togepi, Pichu, and Baby Kangaskhan on one team. Squirtle, Bulbasaur, Skwovet, and Meloetta are on the other team. Mama Kangaskhan is happy to see her baby is having a good time with her friends.

Meanwhile…

Meowth is actually secretly spying on Pikachu, Eevee, and the others.

Meowth laughs and says, "Look at 'em! What a bunch of amateurs!"

"I guess Meowth will have to teach them how to have a real snowball fight with this little baby," Mew says as he pats a snowball close to his size.

Meowth struggles and mananges to pick up the snowball. Suddenly, he loses and slams the snowball to the ground. Just then, the snow gives weight, causing Meowth and the snowball to roll down, and create a big snowball with himself inside. Mewoth screams as he ends up becoming engulfed by the giant snowball and rolls past Pikachu, Eevee, and the others. Then rolls down the mountain.

The Pokemon stops playing to hear a sound. When they notice nothing is around, they continue playing. They continue playing and running along the battlefield.

Just then, Baby Kangaskhan, Togepi, and Pichu find a small red sled. They climb on and begin to rock back and forth. But their moment soon causes the sled to move, and begins to slide down the hill. Pikachu and Eevee soon notice the event and chase after them. Soon, Pikachu and Eevee begin riding on the slide with them as it goes down the hall. The Pokemon move the sled side to side, trying not to hit the tree.

Soon, Bulbasaur and Squritle notice the Pokemon sliding down the sled. Bulbasaur then picks up Squirtle, and lifts him on his back as Bulbasaur hops on. Soon, Bulbasaur is riding down the hill with Squirtle as the sled. The others soon catch up, and they fly over the other Pokemon. Onix tells them to get on, which they do. Then Onix begins sliding down to catch up with them. Everyone continues sledding down the hill, hiding bumps until Onix catches everyone on his back. However, Onix is unable to stop as he sleds right towards the lake. All the Pokemon cry out in fright.

Just then, heading towards the rescue is Mama Kangaskhan as she cries and runs down the hill at top speed. Soon, Mama Kangaskhan uses her physical strength to grab hold of Onix by the nose and her feet firmly in the snow. And just in time, Mama Kangaskhan mananges to stop Onix just before she goes into the water. Everyone is relieved from the save.

After that everyone returns and begins to play with Mama Kangaskhan. The smaller Pokemon are playing on her and the pouch. Mama Kangaskhan smiles to see her baby and the others are having a wonderful time together.

Later that evening, the sun begins to set and everyone has a wonderful time.

Suddenly, they hear Brocks' voice, "Hey!"

"Hi everybody!" Misty calls out.

"Mama Kangaskhan! Little sis!" Tomo calls out.

Mew calls out, "Come on everyone, it's time to go home!"

Soon, all the Pokemon hurry to their family and friends.

Mew picks up Pikachu and Eevee, "Did you guys have fun?"

Misty picks up Togepi and Pichu. Then Psyduck hugs Misty by her leg

Tomo climbs into Mama Kangaskhan's pouch with Meloetta and Skwovet.

Everyone happily be with their trainers.

Soon, Mew notices, "Hey, look up at the sky."

"It looks like that," Tomo says.

Everyone looks up in the sky to see snow beginning to fall down from the sky. It's plain to see that everyone has had a great time.
