Chapter 3 Black and White:Tour of the town
Another day pass as Blake woke up from her sleep looking around the room to make sure it was the same palace. Then she fell back with a sigh of relief she was still here. But she relzied the tray was gone maybe she passed out when Aruna came by and grabbed it.
The door opened soon with Verde with a clipboard in his hands.
"Well your awake. How are we today dear?"verde asked
"Fine. Though yesterday was a little bit of a shock"Blake replied
"I know dear it alright your with family right now. Do you feel comfortable walking right now. "Verde asked as she nodded
Blake carefully got out of bed as it was proved to be much easier this time around as seh was able to stand on her own this time without something helping her. But she still drag the iv drip along with her other than that she was capable of walking.
"I've checked on Onxyia and that Bombay girl. They both are waiting for you to wake up. But Vera is treating them right now"verde replied
That made Blake a little happy it seems that they both got better. She barely knew bombay but the girl seemed really nice. Blake slowly walked out of her room alongside Verde.
It been a while since she been in her uncle clinic. They expanded it it seems because their seems to be more rooms. Along with the recepconitist desk being larger. As they continued down the hall she soon saw Onxyia and bombay with colt and vera.
"Oh hello "vera said as she shined a light in bombay eye. The cat looked a little annoyed by the bright light being flashed in her eye. She pushed it up as vera kept their for too long.
"Opps sorry"vera said nerovusly laughing.
"Ughh how long are we staying here?"bombay questioned.
"Well you all seem to be getting better. Your arm will take another day to heal just make sure to keep it in that sling"verde replied
"Great now i'm down one arm"bombay grumbled.
"Oh c'mon kitty it'll be fine at least your weren't stabbed"onxyia added with bombay rolling her eyes.
"Despite that Onxyia, you and Blake are released as well since your injuries are healing quite nicely. "Verde replied
"I'll go get some clothes. Make sure you guys wash up then can give you tour of the place"vera replied as she walked off to grab their clothes.
"Hmm shes pretty young to be a nurse?"Colt questioned looking at her.
"More like assistant other than her I have a few other doctors here. Your not my only patient you know"verde added
"Although you two need to follow me. Bombay you need to cover up that cast. Aruna dear please help her"Verde asked his daughter. As he led Onxyia and Blake to another part of the hospital. Colt waited for the group at the front entrance
"Ok dad, come on kitty two we gotta clean you up."aruna said as she guided bombay toward another area of the hospital. But she didn't like she just got called kitty two.
Verde escorted to another part of the large clinic it seems.
"Alright first we need to remove those needles from your hands to stop the flow of the IVs. We already removed your stitches dear but becareful"verde replied as started on Onxyia grabbing her left arm carefully and with gentle care removed the needle from her wrist. It bled a little but he quickly rubbed it with some rubbing alcohol to disinfect the area of the wrist.
He then moved on to blakes wrisit as he repeated the same thing he did to onxyia.
"Alright with that done. You two can go take a shower right now. We got two seeprated showers for you two. Aruna probably already got that bombay girl done"vere replied
They then followed him for a few minutes before reaching two separate doors. Outside was bombay in her usually attire and it was all cleaned up. She also had her arm in her sling still. But her eyes where cyan color now.
"Seems your done feeling resfreashed?"verde asked
"Yeah though wish I could take this off"bombay gestured toward her arm.
"Well you got another day to wear it then you can wash it"Vera added as she brought some clothes for them. She waited on the side for them incase they needed help.
"Though these are our showers were you can up. All you need is already provided for you. Just leave your gowns in their and we'll come by and get them later."he replied walked away from the two.
Blake entered the shower room and was met with a sink and a large shower space where the shower head was overhead.
She noticed the shampoo and hairwash in the shower along with a back scrub for her. She stripped off the gown she wore and turned on the shower as the water came dwon from the shower head. After adjsusting the temperature for the water she carefully stepped in the shower. The cold water his her naked form as she slightly shivered as her ears twitched.
Her body was now all wet from the water as she decided to put body wash on her body and it was proving quite difficult. Their was no way to scrub it with her hand fully. So she improvised as she poured the body wash on her body as liquid trickled down her leg. She placed the bottle down before grabbing the scrub as she scrubbed the liquid as it started to soap up.
It took her some time but she was able to wash herself but then came another difficulty with the shampoo. The only logogical thing to do was take the shampoo and hang it over it over her head and squeeze it as cold liquid came onto her head. She closed the bottle and began to scrub her hair and ears. She used her one good arm making sure everything was good and sopay. Another ten minutes of wahsing her hair and ears she got out of the shower. The grabbed the towel to dry off as she made sure every part of her was trying.
A knock came at the door and it was Vera"hey would you like me to bring your clothes in. May I come in?"Vera questioned.
"Yeah just–"Blake begun as she tried to get her towel around her body but she was having some troubles as she tried again but it was frustrating. After trying again she lost her footing as she fell onto the hard surface below giving out a yelp. Almost immediately Vera followed by aruna rushed in to see the naked cat on the floor.
Vera face blushed a little as Aruna sighed, then she pushed the girl out before helping blake.
"You alright?"she said placing the clothes vera had on the ground kneeling to her.
"Yeah just…towel isn't really cooperating with me"blake replied
"Here let me help you up"Aruna said as she helped blake up to good feet.
"Though i'll leave you to change or do you need help"Aruna asked
"No I can handle it"Blake replied as Aruna left her alone as she closed the door. After fully getting changed in her usually white sleeveless top with her black vest. She looked at her right arm that was theri.
She sighed as she exited the shower room making her way to the front of the clinic.
She noticed onxyia in her usual attire but she had on something around her neck now. Zanes necklace seeming to wear it now.
"Their you are blake"verde said as he wrote in a clipboard. Then he handed it to colt as he sighed it. Seemed to be release forms for them maybe.
"Hey where are our weapons anyway?"onxyia questioned with the two cat faunus wondering as well.
"Oh their over here"aruna said as she pulled out their weapons. She pulled out onxyia divine tribution handing it to the girl. Then she pulled out Bombay dual schimitars.
Lastly she pulled out black katana she was surrpsied to see.
"Wait how do you have this?"blake questioned looking at her weapon.
"Oh I think Fox grabbed it for you on our way out of Beacon when you got hurt"onxyia answered as she placed her glaive on her back.
Bombay twirled one sword in her hand sheathing it, then reached to her side with her broken arm sheathing it.
"Thank you for keeping these safe"bombay thanked.
Blake reached for her katana as she sheathed it ."so are we staying at your house?"blake asked
"Yes dear, along with getting you some new clothes"Sienna said from the side with Neo and Yahto behind her in their usaul attire.
Though Neo was still carrying the giant cloth with Zanes weapons. It was a bigger than her the cat faunus relzied.
"Despite that are you all ready to go?"Sienna asked
They all looked at each other before nodding in agreement.
"Alright we'll stop by the house first then we'll give a tour of the place"Sienna replied as Blake, Onyia, Colt, Neo, Bombay and Yahto followed.
Vera looked at Yahto as he leave and aruna took notice of this smiling.
"Hmm you fancy tall dark and mysterious?"aruna teased
Vera face blushed bright red"no...maybe…..yes"vera said softly as Aruna laughed at her a little.
The girl glared at the bengel faunus then smiled herself"at least I don't have a crush on a little wolf"vera retorted as Aruna face light bright red. Then she flicked her ear as Vera covered it rubbing it.
"Get to work you two, we have patient to treat. Not talk about boys"verde ordered as the two went back to their jobs. They went to treat another couple patients in their small clinic.
After they left the small clinic the group was quickyl escorted to the kahn house. As they walked they looked at the same building Neo, Colt and Yahto saw yesterday.
Blake took in a deep breath as she smelled the salt water in the air.
"Its been a while since we been here"Blake said reminsaicning
"Yeah when did we both last visit a year or two ago?"onxyia asked as her tail swayed
"It was three years ago both your familys came for a visit if I recall"Sienna replied
Then Blake remembered that day fondly. They came for to celebrate Jazmine birthday with Sienna. It was a nice day but after a couple month after that they left home and then the day came she lost her frowned upon that day because it was her fault still.
Her father said not to feel guilt for that but it still comes back at time. But she at least saved onxyia from adam at the cost of her arm. She was fine with that, she prevented someone losing their life.
The wolf also noticed several human and faunus walking around the place. She looked at a human and faunus couple from the looks of it. They both were laughing and smiling before the two kissed. Onxyia frowned a little looking then turned her attention forward.
Seriously she starts to cheer up a little and she has to see look sweet together but it reminds her of him. She just needs to try and move forward right now, though it will be hard. As they continued to walk through the village.
Bombay looked around noticing alot of people here actually. Which was a little worrisome maybe their from Vale maybe. Several grimm probably pushed them back toward the town here.
"Alot of people here though"bombay added
"Hmm yes maybe it has to do with Vale being attacked recently. Their have been a number of grimm attacks lately for the past few weeks and you know what happens with people who come in contact with them"sienna replied
"Compelte and utter chaos"Yahto added with her nodding.
"Don't forget about those knights going around. Those twelve are pretty dangerous"bombay said as Onxyia looked at her. The cat smiled a little as the wolf returned it smiling.
"Yes, though how exactly did they come to existence. Strange to see people being part grimm"Sienna said in disbelief.
They'll have to explain it them later. Their entire group has experience it in some way. Along with a friend experiencing it.
Soon enough they arrived to the khan residents as they went inside. Once inside Blake, Bombay and Onxyia followed neo upstairs. While the other waited for them.
Once the silent girl led them upstairs she pointed to the four guest rooms available. She pointed to the two on the right putting up her arms in an X. Which meant those might have been taken by yahto and colt.
"Hmm were at a predicament here. Their are only two rooms left and their are four of us what should we do?"onxyia questioned.
Neo quickly got her scroll out to type and showed them it"the beds are big enough for two people. Wa can share a room, who wants to bunk with me?"neo text read.
"Hmm i'll bunk with you"onxyia answered as her tail swayed.
The two cat faunus looked at the two smiling alittle. They did that so the two cats of the group have to stay together.
"Well guess its the cat room"bombay said as she went to check out the room. The three laughed a little at the pun. Though bombay looked a little annoyed by it. They examined their rooms as they dropped off a few things then head back downstairs.
In the living room it seems sienna already made them something to eat. On the coffee table were some sandwiches it seems. They seemed to be turkey, ham and cheese sandwiches. The four came down to join the group as they ate.
"So after this whats next?"Bombay asked as she took a bite from her sandwich.
"Were going clothes shopping don't worry I'll pay for it. Though you'll need to have kali make those cookies of hers when we get to menagerie"sienna said to the surprise of the group.
"Wait your going to menagerie?"blake questioned looking at her aunt.
Sienna gently nodded to her as she took a sip from her water"yes, I haven;'t seen your two parents in a while. And I wanna tell them the good news about my baby boy coming soon"sienna replied smiling.
"Thats wonderful"neo sighed to colt who was about to say but Sienne stopped him.
"Thank you dear"sienna said to the surprise of the mute that she understood sigh language.

They continued to eat their sandwich but Onxyia kinda looked down at her hesitating a thought about the twins. Last time she saw Rogue was when she was heavily injured. She barely saw her from the truck but it looked bad. Though she hoped nothing happen to Eria her partner.
As Colt and Sienna took notice of this. The boxer cleared his throat to get the girls attention. The wolf faunus ears twithced as she looked over at him.
"Is everything kid?"colt asked with concern in his voice.
"Oh everything alright i'm just worried about my other two teammates is all. Both are a pair of sisters. And i'm worried about my other girlfriend"onxyai replied
Blake looked down to her as she was also worried about her. She wondered where Weiss was because she was with Ruby and Eria. But Rogue went with her father if she recalled. Though she didn't known where Yang was probably with Ruby,
Although next time she sees her, that blonde might cash in that kiss she owes her. Blake smiled a little thinking about that.
"Hmm well their both back home probably i'm guessing. Though if I recall, wasn't that blonde one zanes partner?"colt asked
"Yes, her name was Rogue though she probably going through…alot right now"onxyia replied with sadness in her voice and Blake knew why. That girl lost her partner, uncle and sister figure on the same day pretty much.
"I'm sure she'll be alright her family will support her for grivinng for those three"blake said as onxyia and neo looked at her a little confused.
"You mean four including several others"onxyia corrected sadly as her ears flopped over.
The cat faunus was confused by this wondering what they meant by that. Did someone else they knew die during the attack on enough bombay was looking at her scroll at the news bulletin then relzied what those two meant by that. It seemed to be recent just now posted about an hour ago.
"Umm they relized a small list of those they've found dead already"bombay added
"That quickly goodness"colt replied a little baffled they did that pretty quickly. But it was a little hopeful for some of those people familys. Their child or loved one status on what happened to them during the fall.
It at least provided them closure to the people who grieved. Bombay then looked through it seemed looking for her teammates. She gave a small smile relizing they were their. Which meant Bashira,Naca and Thisitie where safe it seems.
"Umm can I look at it next please?"blake asked as the cat faunus nodded. She walked toward blake handing it to her good arm. Blake looked at it as Bombay scrolled down for her. Which she thanked.
As she looked through it she looked at each name for any sigh of her teammates. As she did she relzied what those two meant by four. She saw tanners name on the list and she was sad to see him go.
The guy seemed like a loudmouth but he seemed to care deeply for others. Which means those two are grieving for several people they lost. She continued going through the list not seeing Ruby, Weiss or Yang. but she also noticed yatsu, fox, russel, dove and sky dead as well. But that meant velvet lost two teammates and someone she loved, but she wasn't on their. It seems both those teams lost several members as she felt relieved about but it wasn't all of the students yet it seemed.
Onxyia looked at the scroll in the cat faunus hand,blake who noticed this looked at her. She probably wants to see if her teammates got out along with something else.
"Here you can see if those two made it, and velvet made it out"blake said softly handing it to the wolf faunus who smiled hearing that. She took it as she went through the scroll. As she did she studied the names slowly. But then then got to a name that made her raise an eyebrow.
"Those two made it, but something's weird"onxyia said outloud getting their attention.
"What is it dear?"sienna asked as she rested her hands on her knees.
Then she presented the scroll to them as they looked at what she saw. Under her leaders name it was presumed dead but it also had some more words to it. That it also said bodie not found.
That was strange indeed which meant he could be alive maybe. But at the same time the chances of that were very slim. Onxyia knew he died because she heard him pass. Neo looked a little hopeful it seemed but quickly dismissed it.
"Maybe he–"bombay began as the two looked at her not really wanting to discuss the topic anymore. The girl understood as she backed offf the subject for now.

"Hmm well despite that why don't we head into town to get you two some change of clothing. Those aren't exactly your style"Sienna pointed out because the twos clothes did have some tears in them.
The group then headed toward the door that lead outside of the house.
The group were now walking down a wooden plank path as they walked through the port town. They were on the dock as they walks across it. Their on their right was the open sea that was crystal blue. A few seagull flew in the sky squawking.
"This place is so nice, especially that view"colt pointed out looking at the open sea.
"Yes, the view is nice this time of year. Ferry, shipping boat and fishing boats come here this time of year alog. Right now their all mostly out on the sea right now. It sort of like a dry season this time of year. Hence the name Dryshore"sienna replied
"Hmm interesting"Yahto replied as he looke around the place in awe a little. He from vaocu and he doens't see many forest their and it was pretty over here.

"Sometimes ships don't come back for a while. They eventually do but their either destroyed or a piece of them float to shore. Whenever a ship takes too long on their voyage people assume the worst"sienna replied
"Hmm could it be a grimm?"Yahto suggested which the bengel faunus seemed to considered
"I don't know, lets continue on with our little trip"Sienna replied as they agreed to not worrie about something they'll probably deal with it.
Blake looked around the place and it seemed very lively this time of year it seems. Their were faunus and humans walking around with some posters on a lamppost she glanced at. It was from some pop punk band it seems.
"Hmm is their a concert here coming to town?"blake questioned.
"Maybe I don't recall their was one about four weeks back. Aruna and Vera went to it apparently it was their favorite band. "Sienna replied as the group finally made it to the clothing store. But nearby Neo noticed a small armor and weapon shop close by.
It had a sigh on it that said Huntsman and Huntress Aresenals on the top. It seemed to be an open stall as a women was manning the counter it seemed. She wiped it down with a smile on her face.
But their were also several weapons in the shop with armor on the walls decorating it. Along with a small metal shop in the back of the room. But their seemed to be prosthetics on display as well.
Colt noticed the mute interest in the weapons shop and turned to the group to tell them something.
"Me and neo are going to check something out real quick. We'll meet you over their"colt said pointing toward the weapon shot.
"Alright don't be long or Yahto will be the only one carrying our clothes back"bombay joked at the boy looked at her saying he wasn't going to do that. He and falk went shopping one time with that girl. She bought so many clothes it was probably three stores entire stock.
They slowly dragged the vacou boy into the clothing store as the two went to the weapon shop. As they did they looked at the women who seemed in her late thirties. She had shoulder length dark blue hair with pale skin, here eyes were green. She wore an workshop apron over a grey athletic shirt with a pair of blue jeans. Along with a pair of earrings on her ears that were gold in color.
They approached the women as she weas busy hammering away not on a sword. As she did she kept hammering it away as with each swing she hit the sword. Then she lifted it up then dipped it into some water.
"Excuse me ma'am"colt asked as the women was done with the sword seemed as she set it down on a table. Steam wafted from the barrel of water as she fanned her fan. She had sweat on her face it seems.
"Yes what can I help you two with"she asked
"We were wondering if you could uh…."colt said trying to get her name but the women stopped him.
"Catlyn Harlquinn"she introduced herself offering a hand to shake. Colt shoke her hand.
"Nice to meet you, miss Harlquinn i'm Colt Lawson and this one here is Neopoltian"colt said gesturing toward the mute who waved. She carried the bundle in her arms still.
"Well aren't you a cutie, I could just eat you up"the women squealed a little as neo slunked back a little. The women reminded her of her aunt a relized this nervously smiling rubbing the back of her head.
"Sorry bout that small cute things are my weakness. Though what can I do for you today?"catlyn asked as she leaned against the counter.
Colt looked at Neo who looked at him. Then he gentle nodded as she placed the sheet on the women counter. Catlyn looked at her wondering if it was okay to look at and neo nodded.
Catlyn pulled the cloth off looking at the weapons intrigued it seems. She picked up the katana carefully examining it. Her eyes lit up a little examining the piece of hardware in front of her.
"Wow this katana seems to be heavily modded, it's got a dust ignitor in the blade and revolver seems to be pretty well made too. Engraving are nice touch too, are you selling them?"She questioned while looking at the weapons.
Neo glared at her at the mentioned of that and Colt was taken aback by what she asked. They weren't going to sell them, instead put them in a case or banner for someone.
"No they are not for sale they…belong to someone we recently lost"colt replied looking away closing his eyes.
Catlyn's expression turned to a sadden look as she sighed"i'm sorry for your loss, usually when someone brings me something like this they sell them. What do you want me to do?"she asked politely.
Neo then tapped on her scroll then showed it to the women, catlyn took some reading glasses out as she read the text.
"Could you make something that holds all of them at once or weapons case?"neo text read.
The women scratched her chin then snapped her fingers"I think i got something around here, a customer ordered a while back. But he never came and got it which was upsetting"catlyn said as she ducked below to look for something.
As they did for about ten minutes soon enough from the side the other emerged from the store. Onxyia and Blake were wearing new outfits it seems.
Her new outfit features a long white tailcoat with dark violet interior lining and a black sleevelss crop top. She wears a belt attached from behind. The crop top has a rectangular and diamond shaped cutout around the neckline, which have purple outlines. She wears a white belt over a pair of black fitted pants.
Across her toros is a diagonal strap that has a smaller magnetic clip on the back, where her sword layed. She wore a pair of thigh high black heeled boots with gold colored edging around the top. The left boot has a belt wrapped twice around the thigh. Each of the boots bears her emblem in white on the outer thigh. And their is a white pouch attached to the back of her belt.
Though her right sleeve was empty as it blew in the wind.
Onxyia's outfit was also different not as she wore a pair of black tight fitting jeans with white lining it. Along with a gothic looking black skirt that seemed to be a half skirt that is colored black with white lining the interior of it. But she wore a pair of of midcalf black boots with white laces. She traded out her tailcoat for a denim crop top jacket.
The collar and bottom part of the jacket near the middle of her jacket is black. While the middle of it and the sleeves of the jacket are white. Though on each of the shoulders are her symbols it seems. On her left arm embrodded onto it was yin and on right arm was yang embrodded on the right. She wears greaves on her legs colored wore a light grey thin sweater underneath her jacket.
She wore her ying and yang earrings in the same spots like last time. But she sports her necklace and zanes necklace around her the jeans and skirt gave her access to her tail. Though she changed her hairstyle in blatayge style it seems.
"Hey you two ready to leave?"bombay asked as she walked over in her usual attire. Behind the girl was yahto frowning as he carrying bags with clothing in them. He seemed to be grunting and mumbling to himself annoyed about his current situation.
"Just about were getting something packed up"Colt said as neo looked at the group. The short ice cream hair girl quickly examined the two faunus new outfits. She quickly sped through it then went back to colt side tapping her chin.
Neo then put her hand up side ways moving it around before giving them a thumbs up. She was judging their new outfits it seems and in her opinion they were good.
Onxyia smiled a little"thanks neo, though surprising you know how to style hair bombay ''onxyia added as her tail wagged.
"Eh Naca and Thistie always asked me to help them with their hair. So I got pretty good at it."bombay replied as her tail swayed from side to side.
Soon enough Catlyn brought something for the two they request. Their in front of them was a case it seems that had a glass lid. The case exterior was metal and colored black,while the interior of it had white velvet fabric lining the interior. It seemed to be thin but could carry some weapons it seems.
"Here you two go guy who ordered it request this. Then he payed in advance but never came back for it. Which was weird"catlyn replied
Colt examined it and gentle nodded to her"how much?"he asked grabbing his wallet.
"Ehh let see three hundred lien"she replied as colt nodded. He took out a lien card and handed it to her. She took it ringing them up and then opened the case for them. The women gentle placed the dual falcata swords in first sheathed, then the dual revolver, then finally the katana. They all layed neatly still in the case, because their seems to be small clips the weapons attach to.
Colt picked it up carrying it because it was bigger than the mute. He held it with both hands as the group was ready to leave.
"Is this for him?"blake asked as neo gentle nodded to the cat faunus who returned with a smile.
Catlyn looked at blake right arm as it draped in the wind.
"Hey sweetie I got a question?"catlyn questioned the cat before she could answer Sienna talked to the women.
"Oh hello Catlyn working like usual,"Sienna said. Catlyn looked at the bengal faunus smiling with a grin.
"Sienna dear it great to see you tell me your husband putting Vera to work in that clinic of his"catlyn asked
"Yes, she's been putting in alot of effort their. She cares for all our patients with the upmost care"sienna replied
"Wait your her mom?"bombay questioned as her tail swayed.
Catlyn nodded as she rubbed her right hand"yep girl wants to work with prosthetic therapy in the future. A little upset she won't take over the shop. But i'll let her follow that dream of her, who know maybe her little sister will take the shop"catlyn replied
"Though back to the topic at hand, what was your question?"Blake questioned

Blake stoped before glancing at her arm for a few moment. Then she grabbed where her elbow used to be then she looked up.
"Um…maybe another time ma'am"Blake replied
"Okay sweetie. Let me know if your ready sometime. I'll whip you one up in a day or so"catlyn replied as the group were deciding to head back to the house. As they did blake gripped the empty sleeve of her right arm.
Onxyia looked at her as her tail swayed slowly. Then the wolf faunus walked over placing a hand on blake shoulder. Blake flinched a little letting out a small yelp. She turned seeing it was onxyia and sighed in relief.
"You scared me their for a second what up?"Blake asked
"Hey are you going to be okay?"onxyia asked
Blake held her empty shirt sleeve"yeah…just…I don't i'm quite their yet to get one"blake replied as she was hesitant on the subject. The group then decided to head back to the khan residents to unpack their clothes and relax for the day. But the thought of getting a new arm did cross her mind at first but she wasn't really prepared.
Seems that blake was given the chance for a new arm but doesn't feel ready for it just yet. While they got some new outfits for this volume and so fourth, i'd like to use the main cast from the shows outfits. But catalina is my own creation. Thanks for reading.
