11 Pipers Piping
"What in the hell is that sound?"
True looked at her best friend. "I have no idea. Sounds like someone is killing a bunch of cats."
They followed the sound in an attempt to identify the horrible racket and were surprised to find themselves at the church. It was the last place they would expect anyone to kill an animal. "You look." Creed said with wide eyes.
"Why me?" When Creed just stared at her she sighed, "Fine, Chicken." Not sure what to expect she moved to a window, not worried about making any noise as no one could hear anything over the horrific sound emanating from the church. She peeked inside and her eyes could not believe what she was seeing.
"What is it?" Creed asked anxiously after seeing the look on her face.
"Bagpipes."
"What?" He asked, thinking he heard wrong.
"Bagpipes. There are a bunch of men inside trying to play the bagpipes." She giggled. "At least that is what I think they are doing. Josiah, Buck and JD look like they are about to blow their cheeks out!"
"C'mon let's go find the guys. They gotta see this!"
When they turned they saw that most of the town had the same idea as they did. And that is how 11 Pipers attempt to learn something new turned into a public spectacle that no one in that church would live down for several months!
