Chapter 9 Black and White:Bonvoyage
Blake was in the backyard with gambrol shroud out at the ready. While Yahto was across from her with his tomahawk dubbed ivory at the ready. Colt was nearby watching the two with his arms crossed. He had a whistle around his neck as he watched the two.
Then he lifted an arm up as he stared at the two. Blake got ready for an offensive stance while Yahto did the same. Colt blew the whilst loud as he blew into it.
The two immediately came at each other with full force it seems. Yahto changed his tomahawk to his pistol as he fired shot at the girl. Blake dogged a couple by side stepping them and blocking a few with her katana. Once she got close she brought her sword down on the boy.
He dodged her slashes for a bit until one hit him. Yahto stepped back as he changed his weapon to its blade mode. Then he swung at the cat girl who blocked most of his strikes. But he landed a couple on blakes leg which made her flinch.
The two then clashed their blades as they were at a small stand still. They stared at each other for a bit before Blakes ears twitched. Then from behind Onxyia fired off a few shots at the cat. Blake then acitvted her semblance leaving a fire dust clone.
As onxyia took another shot Yahto quickly noticed the clone as he used his semblance. On a nearby tree was a mirror hanging their. He looked at it as he transport himself into the mirror. Blake looked at the mirror studying it as she outran onxyia rifle shots.
The wolf kept shooting at her until Blake slide before changing her direction running at the wolf. The girl lifted her rifle up as she fired one last shot. Then blake lifted her blade blocking it with ease. Then the wolf faunus pulled the trigger again but a click was eyes went wide a little but she quickly changed it into her glaive.
As she did blake swung down on her and oxnyia luckily blocked she did the two clashed with each other for a bit. Blake then ducked under one of onxyia blade as she swung. Then she quickly leg swept her onto the ground. Onxyia fell to the ground but quickly rolled out of the way from blake next attack.
But yahto took this chance to strike as he emerged from a small mirror close by. He lunged forward at blake with his tomahawk readied to hit her. As he swung blake aimed her right hand toward the ground. With a flex of her wrist the hand soon produced claws as it shot foward into some grass.
It pulled her foward but as she did she left the two a surprise it seems. Before she left she used her semblance to leave a clone that was made of electric dust. The two relzied this as they tried to stop themselves. But it was too late as the clone shocked the two with electricity crackling around them.
Blake connected with her claw as it snapped back into her prosthetic arm. She flipped as she stared back at her two sparring partner. The two soon fell over as they twtiched a little from the electricity.
Colt blew the whistle as everyone stopped it seems. Blake then sheathed her weapon on her back as it folded itself up. Onxyia and Yahto slowly got up as they groaned in pain it seems.
"Nice job kid, you've been improving more lately with that arm of your"colt complimented'
Blake smiled because two weeks have passed since they been training and getting ready before the ferry arrives late today to take them back to menagerie. At first it was pretty tough to get used to.
"Thanks, though it was pretty hard to get used to at first"blake said as she glanced at her prosthetic arm. She dind't really get used to it at first but now its grown on her.
"I'll say I keep forgetting that thing can shoot the hand out"yahto added as he walked over rubbing his neck.
"Yeah though I feel like all the hard work we've put in for this will be worth it"Onxyia added as her tail swayed a little.
Then a door opened near the house as Sienna stood their in her usual attire. She seemed to have something for the group. It was a small plate with glasses of water on it.
"Are you four finally done today, we gotta pack up for the ferry later"sienna said as she walked outside with drinks in hand.
Yahto rushed forward as he took one of the glass of water and gluzzled it done it seems. The guy might have been a little exhausted from their training today it seems.
Blake walked over picking up her with her robotic arm as she took a drink. It was cold and it was refreshing at the same time. She wiped the sweet from her forehead as they took seat in some chairs that were made of wicker.
Cotl stood as he was drinking his glass of water deep in thought. Onxyia panted a little as she took a drink of her water. But after she took it she seemed to be a little better it seems.
"Hey do we need to purchase the tickets for the ferry ride today?"yahto asked as he leaned in his chair.
"Yes though me and verde will get them for you all. Just be their on time so we can leave it's coming here at three today. Since it's ten right now you got some time to pack up and say your goodbyes"sienna replied
They were finally going to begin the trip back home it probably take them a few days but it will be worth it in the end. She can't wait to get back home but also dreads coming back as well.
She wasn't their when Jazmine lost her leg and how they reacted. The best thing she can hope for if her father gets mad that it will be quick. Though bombay has been distant latly it seems. She spends time in her room alot scared about something or someone.
Though Neo seemed to be helping out at the clinic right now as a recpionist with Aruna. But it does rather prove difficult for the girl to communicate without talking. They found a way around it though they gave her some note cards to ask what they need.
It may be simple but it helps to check people in at times.
Onxyia though was still grieving a little from zane death. She did feel a little better about it but at times she doesn't wanna talk about the subject much anymore. Her and Colt agreed to break the news to Nadia.
The news says he still hasn't been confirmed dead but they still presumed her right now Glynda and the beacon staff along with some soldiers and the vale city police are taking the city back.
Which was good because they have a chance to reclaim the city from the grimm and take it back.
The group soon enough went back inside to get ready to pack for their trip later. But early they agreed to head to the hotsprings to cash in on that favor from the brothers. They though maybe before they left they cash it in.
In the living room Verde was their but without his doctors coat. He wore a green wool sweater and a pair of dark blue pants. Along with a pair of black simple shoes. Though on his right ring finger was a wedding ring it seems.
"Ah their's the rest of our little group. Aruna and neo are already starting to pack up. Though I haven't heard much from bombay though. Blake could you check on her"verde said as the cat faunus agreed.
She went to do that while Onxyia and Yahto went to pack their stuff up for they did colt sighed a little as he already packed up early this morning. He leaned against the kitchen counter as he dug through his pocket.
Soon the man opened it as he pulled out a very old picture. Their was a bag on the table already that was his. He left it here while he went to help blake train with her new arm.
The picture in his hands was of nadia with two younger kids. One was zoey who was probably around ten years old at the time. The girl was slowly warming up to nadia at that point. Along with that was a four year old zane that the women held with both arms. Her metal arm was silver still at the time before she painted it.
As he looked at sienna was close by looking at him. The women was going to say something but her elbow hit the bag off the table. As it did a few folders fell from it spilling it all over the place.
"Oh no here let me…"sienna began as she looked at the files on the ground. They were adoption papers it seems. She reached for one struggling a little but finally grab one and held it up.
She looked at one of a girl with ice cream colored hair. But she looked a little younger in that picture. Colt sighed as he picked up the folder and the contents in them. He rerognaized them as the adults talked.
"Hmm why do you have adoption files on Neo?"sienna asked
"Its…from her father, he held copies of their paper work. One night he came to my gym dropping them off."colt replied as he looked at the files.
He looked at them smiling a little because it took them a while to get the paper work for the kids. It was hard for vance, zoey and zane. They were slaves that had no other connections to family it seems.
Along with roman being a criminal it took them a bit to get someone to approve it. But in the end they managed to do it. He stared at some of the files remembering how annoying Vance and Lazuli were.
When he came by the gym to train and when those two were their. They would fight over the simplest things at times. If he recalled they fought over someone going through a door first one time. Then another time when they couldn't agree which was better huntsman or superheroes. It was funny seeing them do this.
But he looked at one file that still hadn't changed yet. In big red letters underneath the picture it read deceased and it was Zanes.
"You know….its going to be hell when we tell her"colt said to the two.
Sienna looked at the man as she placed a hand on his shoulder. The gentle giant looked at her as she had a content look on her face.
"Don't worry i'll help break it too her…..though i'm wondering if people know he was her son"sienna asked
"I don't think so the news hasn't reported on who his parents were. So she should be fine"Verde reassured.
"Still I gotta give these documents to her so she can keep them safe. Romans kids may need to stay with her"colt added
The adults kept talking for a while while upstairs Blake entered the room her and bombay were some bags packed up in a cyan suitcase it seems near the end of the bed. While a cat faunus sat at the end of the bed staring at something in her hands.
Blake knocked to get bombay attention and the girl looked up at her.
"Hey you ready to leave?"blake question as she walked over to her.
"Yeah…just…its nothing"bombay replied as she looked at something in her hands which was a picture.
Blake soon got over and glanced over the girls shoulder seeing a picture of young cat faunus. She was in a photo with several other people in a variety of outfits. Some of them were human while others were faunus.
Though she noticed that some of them had silver eyes just like bombay and ruby. She recalled her family was taken out by someone who hated their family. They were identified by their silver eyes but that didn't make sense kind of.
Because Ruby had silver eye and she hasn't been targeted it seems her entire life.
"Are you sure it looks like their your…family"blake simply replied as bombay clutched the photo.
As they sat their soon the cat faunus started to hick as little as a few tears came from her eyes. Bombay then looked at the people in the picture. And with a heavy sigh the girl looked at blake.
The girl looked upset along with a look of fear on her face.
"Look….i've been here a while and I need to tell you something"bombay said which made blake curious.
"Ummm okay about what?"blake questioned wondering were this was leading too.
Bombay took a deep breath as she stared at the window and glanced at the she looked at blake as her tail moved around on the bed.
"Ok you know how I told you and Ruby how I my family was killed by people because of their silver eyes"bombay said
"Yes, that they were hunted down by someone who had hated your family, why?"blake replied wondering what she was implying.
"Look these eyes of mine along with many other like ruby…they make you a target"bombay replied.
Blake ears twitched wondering what she meant by that, but before she said anything their door open. Bombay looked scared reaching for her blade but blake stopped her. Their in the door was onxyia and neo who had their stuff backed up.
Onxyia had a suitcase in hand and the weapons case for zanes gear strapped to her back. While Neo carried a hot pink rolling suitcase with her parasol in her right hand.
"Uhh hey guys everything good in here you ready to leave?"onxyias asked as she looked at bombay looking agitated a little, along with being scared.
"No…um…could you two close the door and come in"bombay said seeming to let those two into their room. They didn't question it as they closed the door tight. Then once inside bombay rushed over as she locked the door this time and looked at a robe hanging up.
She grabbed it as she stuffed it underneath the door frame. This was confusing to the other three wondering what this girl was doing. After she looked out the balcony she sighed in relief it seems then turned to the other two.
"Ok what was that about?"onxyia questioned as her tail moved from side to side. Neo titled her head with a look of confusion across her face.
"Look I have to make sure they…don't hear this"bombay said which worried the group.
"Why what are you talking about?"blake questioned with worry,
Bombay tail moved around like crazy and she grabbed it stroking it as she seemed rather nervous.
"Its just…look your leader Ruby….shes in danger"bombay said as that got the threes attention it seems.
Blake got up looking at the cat wondering what she meant by that"what do you mean by that?"blake asked narrowing her gaze at the cat.
Bombay took a deep breath"look my eyes and her along with many others. Their prime targets by someone of pure darkness and evil. She'll do anything to get rid of anyone with those eyes"she replied as she shivered evening thinking of her.
"What do you mean by that"Neo signed to the group. For the last two weeks they were taught by her and yahto along with sienna on some language. Which saved them time having to communicate through text.
"Lets just say….my entire family is dead because of these dam silver eyes"bombay replied with hatred in her voice.
"Your talking about the silver eyed warriors aren't you, people who can vanquish grimm with a single gaze from their eyes."onxyia said knowingly as Bombay wrapped her arms around herself. Then she slowly nodded yes to her.
"Wait but woudln't that mean their after Ruby?"blake added with worry because that means her friend and leader could be in danger.
"I don't know…maybe she got people protecting her. But those dam grimm knights…not him though"bombay quickly said with Onxyia putting a hand up letting her know its fine. Onxyia has been a little relaxed about people talking about those knights.
But at times she can get a little anger when they compare him to those monsters.
"Alright what about the grimm knights"Neo signed to bombay.
The girl took a deep breath before explaining"those things are tasked with doing their mistresses task along with hunting down those with silver eyes. That one called Conri….the one in the city. He did something to my entire family….he slaughtered all of them with the help of that traditor of a housemaid"bombay replied clenching her fist.
"So…..what your saying is the reason you hide your eyes is from this women and the grimm knights?"blake asked with bombay gently nodding.
"Yeah been hiding them for five years, i've never told my family. Though I feel like I can trust you three….please keep this a secret"bombay replied as the three looked at each other then at her. They all nodded telling her secret was safe with them.
Which made the girl happy it seems. Soon enough the group went back dowsntiars and grabbed their bag. They decided to head to the dock for the ferry a couple hours early. The group of teens were joined by vera it seems.
Apparently Verde said he'll be leaving the clinic in charge of the doctors while he is gone. That Vera will also still be required to help out their. Luckily that doctor that came with them stayed to help out. She reassured she'll keep the place in top shape while their at menagerie.
Colt,Sienna and Verde waited in a small hotel they rented near the docks for a few hours. They left their stuff their but gave the group an hour anf half to go relax. The group took this chance to take the opportunity to cash in the hotsprings favor.
The group soon made their way to a medium size building near the forest part of town. It was a ten minute walk but it had a big blue plated roof and in the back a large wooden fence connected to each side of the building. Though steam seemed to rise from it.
"Here we are Dryshore Hotspring"vera announced
Blake was a little surprised to see this"hmm its…..smaller than…I thought it be"blake said but seemed impressed
"Oh don't worry once your inside its much bigger than compared to the outside"aruna added
"Are they separate areas for us to use?"yahto asked the most important question it seems.
"Yeah it don't worry you won't have to hang with a bunch of girls…naked"vera playfully teased. Yahto slightly blushed as he turned away from the gorup. He literally been stuck with girl for three weeks.
It was starting to annoy him slightly it seems.
"Well c'mon everyone. The hot springs awaits!"onxyia cheered as they all rang right on her tail.
The inside was what you'd expected in a hotsprings. Theri on the walls were some bath related items along with hair and skin products that were surprignly cheap it seems. At the front desk was krim who was finishing with another customer as they just payed for their things.
"Thank you and come again soon"he said nicely as the people he noticed the group behind them.
"Oh hey guys ready to cash in that favor for a free soak here"kirm asked knowingly.
"Yep is it available today?"aruna questioned.
"Yeah it is, told mom that you guys probably use it before you leave on the ferry. Shes fine with it how many?"he asked
"Seven, one boy and six girls"blake replied as he came around with seven long bath towels.
"Alright then enjoy you stay. Oh on the left side its girls and on the right its boys. Along with no shenanigans please while your here. And make sure to remove all accessoires before you get in. "he said
"Oh by the way your clothes will be washed and dired before your finished. Don't worry we'll make sure you get everything back. Just leave them on the rack and they'll pick them up."he finished as he handed ech of them a bath towel.
Then the group headed to their separate changing room while Krim went back behind the desk.
After they all undressed and wrapped the towels around themselves all of them were enjoying themselves in the hot springs. They could feel the stress wash away from them. In the hotsprings their are multiple landscape rocks and one large rock in the center and several smaller rocks around the area.
Onxyia took a small sniff of the air before letting it out as her long black hair was in the water with a look of content. Though the towel she wore did cover most of her bodie. She was rather tall and it covered to her lower thigh it seems but still left her legs exposes. However despite her height she had a slender figure with some curves as it showed some clevage.
But her tail was currently submerged as her ears flopped over.
Blake just sat back as she left her prothesetic arm on. Vera mom said the material used for some arms make them waterproof. She luckily had some left making sure she didn't have to worry about getting it wet. The girl had a towel that wrapepd most of her body covering her upper body to her lower thigh. Though it did show her to have some curves as a bit of clevage showed.
Aruna had her towel wrapped around her but it did show her figure a bit. She had soem curves as her bengel tail was submerged underwater. Though she got her hair wet as it draped down a little soaking wet.
While Vera despite her appearance she did have some toned arms and legs. The towel coved her bodie mostly to the middle of her thigh and upper bodie. But it did show a bit of clevage that was covered by the towel.
Bombay just sat their nervous and embarrassed right now because it did cover most of her bodie from her upper bodie to the lower part of her thigh. She did show off her figure but she kept her arms wrapped tightly around herself just incase. Though it did show she had some bust to her.
While Neo despite her small stature had a towel wrapped around her to show off her figure along wit her curves of her bodie being shown. Though the towel did cover her entire upper bodie and the lower part to her knees. But it showed that she had a modest bust to her it seems showing it off.
"You know we need this after the last few weeks we;ve had"blake said letting out a relaxed sigh and purring a little.
"Yeah it helps melt your worries away"onxyia added as she leaned back a little.
Neo sighed in relief as her face looked to be very relax as steam came off her bodie.
"Despite that…..you think yatho single?"vera asked as the group looked at girl had a small blush on her face.
Aruna told them that she found their mysterious compariiot to be appealing it seems. Though the girl felt self conscious because he might not like a girl like her.
"Yeah he has been flying solo for a long time"Neo signed to aruna who relayed the information to them.
"really…u-um t-that's great"vera replied a little emrbased but happy it seems.
"Oh really well if you want I could give you advice"Aruna said but vera looked at her with expression telling her that she couldn't
"You literally dated one guy and it turned he just wanted you for your body. Then he is a jerk to you until you break up with him. That lasted for a week."vera replied
Aruna then blushed slightly as she sunk a little in the water. It covered her face a little as her eyes where only laughed a little at her cousin with Blake joining it.
"Well maybe he'll like you. He does seem to get flustered when you flirt with him, "Blake pointed out which reassured the doctor in training.
Bombay looked at everyone sighing"Ughh this is embarrassing"bombay groaned, getting their attention.
"Oh c'mon were all girls here what's the problem?"Blake questioned, a little confused it seems.
Bombay stared at them then glanced at onxyia and neo, then she swam over behind neo.
"This is why"bombay replied as she wrapped her hand under Neo and under her bust which made the small mute squeaked in surprise.
"U-mm B-bombay w-hat are you doing?"Vera questioned as Neo faced became flushed red.
"Oh I don't know seriously this one is short as heck and shes literally tall along with size and volume of this one. While I literally got a rather small size"bombay groaned a little annoyed gesturing toward her clevage.
This gave a certain bengel faunus an idea as she swam through the water toward said wolf. As this happened blake tried to reassure bombay it was fine.
"C'mon it's fine Bombay even if…your aren't all filed their. I'm sure someone will like you"blake reassured
The other cat faunus tail moved through the water as she removed her hands from Neo chest. Then the small mute covered up her self with her towel tightly.
Her face was still bright red as she looked embarrassed. She may swing for the girls teams but that was a little embarrassing.
Before onxyia knew it she felt something behind her as a pair of hands wrapped around the girl under her bust which made the wolf squeaked in surprised.
"Aghh wh-whos doing t-that?!Onxyia cried out her face flushed red with her tail wagging through the water underneath.
"Oh c'mon cousin, let me just tease you for a bit"aruna said teasing her with a small grope.
Onxyia's face became bright red as her tail wagged underwater quickly and her ears flopped over.
"P-please stop doing that"onxyia asked with the girl not stopping what she was doing
"Well…for someone your age you are rather tall and have some size and volume to you. I'm jealous, maybe this is why those two dated you"aruna added with a grin.
Blake shook her head smiling a little at Onxyia situation, the girls face was bright red.
"Maybe…but he pretty much said he liked that eye of hers or something. But velvet found her tail cute i'm sure"Blake added with a grin on her face.
"Ummm look pelase stop….look I just hit an early growth spurt is all ''Onxyia pleaded but Aruna didn't stop.
"Hmm well I wasn't the one who hugged him like a teddy bear"Aruna added as Onxyia eyes widden budlign out of her head.
Blake remembered that day on beacon foundly. Apparently after their little fight with the white fang that night. She had a visitor in the form of Yang visiting her bed. It was comforting that she did that for her.
While Onxyia dragged a worried leader into hers and hug him like stuff animal. But then Eria saw the two and made him leave the room thinking he assaulted her. Though he did have to run down the hall getting changed.
"You mean how your partner found out thinking he did something to you. Then gave him a head start down the hall to get change before she turned him into a human popcicle"blake added
"Oh man your school sounds like soo much fun"vera said snorting while laughing a little.
Soon enough Aruna let go of onxyia but not before giving one last grope. Then the wolf glared at the girl before placing her hand on the bengel faunus head.
Before she knew it her head went under water as Onxyia pushed it down. Then she let her come up as Aruna hair covered her eyes. Then she lifted it up glaring at the wolf fauna who smiled.
"Well despite that you and yang did comfy that night as well"onxyia added as blake looked at her.
She ratted her out so she wouldn't be the only one being teased her. But then neo had an idea she shifted her appearance into yang. Bombay just looked confused as she slowly pieced it together.
"Oh you mean her partner…tell me more"aruna asked with a grin.
Neo kept getting closer toward Blake as Yang with a cat like grin on her face. While Onxyia just chuckled at Blakes situation a little it seems.
"Ummm oh hey look at the time g-g-gotta go"blake quickly said as she stood up rushing to the bathroom as a black blur rushed out of the hotsprings. The group laughed a little as they followed her out as well. Though it clicked with bombay as she relized what they meant.
"Wait you two shared a bed?!"she excaliemd as the others laughed at her figuring it out
The group soon left the hotsprings with everything in tow and in their originally outfits. They thanked krim and coop who were at the front. Yahto joined them as he walked with the they did Vera stared at him wondering if she should ask him.
After a bit of walking they went to the dock where the ferry was. It was a large ship with a large paddle streamer in the back. It was black in color along with seeming to made from wood and metal. The gangway was down as people started to board it.
The others were waiting for them to come with their tickets in hands. They had their luggage with them as they waited.
"Their you all are ready to depart for Meangerie?"Sienna questioned as the group nodded to her. They all grabbed their luggage they watched for them. Thankfully nothing was missing from their stuff.
"Oh Vera keep up the hard work we'll be back in a couple weeks maybe. Sorry to drop this on you but i'm sure you and others can handle it"verde replied to his apprentice.
Vera nodded to the man quickly before looking at yahto. She nerovusly gulped before walking up to the mysterious boy. He noticed this as he lfited an eyebrow. She stood their for a bit in silence seeming to work up the courage for something.
"What up–"he began to ask before Vera gave him a kiss on the cheek. The boy stopped mid sentence as his face became bright red. While the other watched in surrpsie at what the girl just did.
Sienna just started to laugh a little along with Neo and aruna. Because that was pretty ballsy to do that before they left. But Blake looked at the girl a little stunned at what she just did. Onxyia looked at her like she just pulled a risky move right now doing that.
Bombay stared at the two wondering what will happen next. The boxer had his arms crossed as his muscles budlged a little lifting an eyebrow. Verde just smiled chuckling to himself at the sight.
The girl then removed her lips from the boys cheek as he stood their stun. Then she reached into her pocket pulling out a piece of paper. It had some numbers on it from the looks of it.
The girl then placed into his shirt collar it seems.
"Hey next time your in town or something call me…see ya and good luck on your trip"vera said as she turned to walk away from the group. Then turned down the street walking away, she was walking downt he street pretty fast.
But blake watched the girl continue to walk until she looked back thinking they couldn't see her. Vera covered her face embarrassed a little saying something that blake couldn't quite hear from here.
It might been her asking herself why did she even do that or happy she finally asked the guy out it seems.
Though yahto just stoof their frozen solid with Vera number in his shirt collar. Neo was snapping her fingers infront of his face to get his attention. Then colt walked over as he pinch the guys neck and he snapped out of it.
"Who ,what ,where am I?!"he shouted in shock as he looked aorund.
"Oh my god Vera…oh that was so smooth"aruna said as she stopped laughing and wiped a tear from her eye.
"Seems you peak a certain girls interest with your mysterious personality Yahto."sienna teased as the boy slowly composed himself walking toward the ferry. The group then grabbed their belonging as they went to board the ferry.
Though a bit of debate arised from the ferry man about the faunus gettting on boad. But he relented after a bit of convincing it seems. They were able to get on without much issues it seems. After about twenty minutes the ferry honked its horn as they took off from the port and began heading toward menagerie.
Once on the ferry the group found themselves with two medium sized rooms that seemed to have a second level to it. Verde and sienna along with the rest got tickets for them to have a suite room.
It maybe held six people, their was a medium size table in the middle. Along with a bathroom near the door to the room. It had a shower and toilet in their with what you'd find in these type of rooms. But around the corner once you step inside is a small staircase.
This led to three beds that seemed spaced far apart for people to sleep. Though which begged the question how they were going to sleep. Their was two beds down below that could fit one to two people each.
Luckily they brought some sleeping bags incase and yahto volunteered to sleep on the ground. But they did have a small cloth couch that he could sleep on infront of a small fireplace. They also had a medium size closet for their clothing and other things.

After the group unpacked their stuff they mainly left their suticase around. Onxyia had the weapons case on her back as she gently took it off and placed it on a small trunk. She smiled at it before sighing looking down at it.
"Alright we don't have much to do for the next three days. So try and enjoy yourself and please stay out of trouble, "Verde warned.
